Caffe Nero in City of London, Westminster - Phone Number, Reservations, Reviews

We popped into this branch before a booked meal. We ordered 2 luxury hot chocolates. We were served one with the whipped cream and then they ran out of cream. Both “ hot” chocolates were luke warm and below standard. We sat downstairs and were asked to move as they were shutting the downstairs off ( even the customer toilets) . We moved upstairs and there were no seats available. We got a replacement drink but I’m afraid standing with a glass cup is not acceptable. Will never return here and probably avoid all outlets! Smarten up your customer service skills please.

Normalmente, vengo a Caff Nero pensando que será un buen servicio y de buena calidad. El servicio estaba bien, la cola se manejó bien. Estoy feliz de haber encontrado un asiento de inmediato. No había crema para mis malvaviscos rancios (?) De chocolate caliente. Entonces eso fue decepcionado. Pidió una cuchara nueva, la mía estaba sucia antes de usarla y la de reemplazo era casi peor.

Puede que no sea el mejor trabajo del mundo servir en una cafetería, pero tuve la clara impresión de que el personal realmente no podía ser molestado. Las mesas estaban llenas de vajilla sucia y los baños dejaban mucho que desear. Al menos el café estaba bien y la pastelería que tuve estaba bien, pero en general fue una experiencia decepcionante.

My wife, adult daughter and I had lunch here on a Thursday in mid-April. We were tourist foot weary and hungry. We got a sausage bun, a ham and brie on a baguette, and we each got drinks. This was our first time eating at a Nero’s. Our bill was £13, and we were surprised and pleased at how good everything tasted. This felt less like fast food and more like a real meal. While the shop was busy, service was pretty fast and very friendly.

Stannade till och beställde tre milkshakes. Samtliga smakade mer eller mindre bara is och vatten. Bättre kan ni!
