When I go the galleries I always forget the coffee is awful in cafe Nero in the Galleries and bitter but the Danish pastries are tempting and the girls behind the counter all gossip amongst themselves like chickens and the guys do all the work. The girls are all spotty from eating too much cake but look at you as if to say please don't ask me to serve you I can't be bothered I'm busy planning my night out with my friends! Last time theyade a comment after I left the desk that my lipstick had gone over my lip line thinking I didn't hear. The hen pecked guy serves you instead kindly. But the coffee is so bitter I never finish it. But there's only really coffee # round the corner and their coffee is strong and bitter too or some scruffy independent with powdered milk and waiting hours for a First Bus that will probably be cancelled anyway drives you into a cafe and that cinnamon Danish you don't really need. These cafes and First bus are responsible for obesity in us all lol 😁 how did we get so desperate for coffee and cake, like mobile phones, 24/7?

Stopped for coffee and croissant on way to work. No napkin given the food so I returned to till to ask gor one. I waited for the woman to finish serving a customer and politely asked for a napkin, she responded "I was serving another customer" in a very rude tone. I said, I know that, which is why I waited for you to finish with him. Such attitude, from this woman at 7.30am on a Monday doesn't bode well for how she will treat customers the rest of the week. I shall avoid in future, there are many other coffee shops in the area, if they don't want my custom.

We stopped here for a quick hot drink whilst out shopping. I really wish we hadn’t. Every spare table was filthy and stacked up high with dirty plates and cups. I politely asked the person behind the counter if we could have our table cleaned, they heard me but couldn’t even be bothered to answer. I waited a while then asked another member of staff. Same bizarre response. The Chai Latte I had was tasteless and the gluten free cake selection was very poor.

I was not happy with this nero. I usually always go to cafe nero as it is a lovely place for coffee. However on this particular visit, I felt horrible being there. I came into nero and ordered a latte for myself and a babychino for my 3 year old, I had a pram and shopping on me. Firstly I didn't get a tray so i had to navigate my child and pram to a seat whilst holding two hot drinks and some snacks. I was offered no help even though I clearly had my hands full. Secondly as it was busy we took a seat that had some rubbish from previous customers there. I was seated for a good half hour and no one came to clear the litter and empty cups. It wasn't like it was just one cup. There was four cups and a few plates and wrappers. Finally I was just about to exit and I was struggling with door and the pram, yet no one had the initiative to hold the door open or help. I'm sorry but I will not be returning to this nero, when I know I get excellent customer service on corn street.

I like Cafe Nero's coffee. I also like their tea. Most of all I love their apricot croissants whenever I can get one. I always. Search them out wherever I go. So should you.

Badly needed cup tea/Coffee and so this was nearest coffee shop. Hadn't visited a Nero before. We had lovely welcome and my tea was just how I like it, we also had a sandwich which we don't usually buy as they can be very dry,...

Had a fixed price lunch while spending the day shopping in Cabot circus. Good value. Really nice food. Albeit a small selection. Great wine and superb service.

Tea so full of milk tea bag was drowned. Spiced orange latte didn't taste of orange. Nothing to stir our drinks with for outside consumption

Came for a comedy night, wasn’t sure what to expect but really good set up, good lively pub downstairs serving all the classics and great pizzas and some great local beers (including Bristol Beer Factory Milk Stout which is excellent) plus packed out comedy gig upstairs, really nice crowd and top notch comedy. On weekday events they have pre event special of pizza plus a drink for £15 which is pretty good value. Only slight improvement would be putting a second server on bar upstairs before the gig started but queue went down pretty quickly.

I went with my young son and wife during the run up to Christmas where I had booked a week off work to get my Christmas shopping done. It was a good day out overall, but sadly my attempt at some respite in this Costa was thwarted by one abhorrently rude member of staff. It started when I ordered our drinks at the till. Mine and my wife's drinks were fine, but when I asked about the free 'babycchino' for my son, the woman on the till- Anna- told me they had run out of the small cups for the kids drinks and that they'd have to charge us for a whole regular size cup of milk if we wanted one! After stating the obvious that Anna could simply put a small amount of milk in a regular cup, she huffed, poured out the drinks and abruptly handed me the tray. When we sat down, the tables were messy and sticky. Granted it was busy and the run up to Christmas, but basic hygiene is not a duty that should be shirked. After finishing I needed to use the restroom, so I went to the right of the tills and queued for use of the loo. When I got in there I could hardly breathe. The smell was awful. I went straight out to the tills and spoke to Anna again to tell her that the their toilets needed attention. I got the same huffy attitude from Anna who told me that they were nothing to do with her as the toilets were managed by Primark. She didn't even contact her Primark colleagues or a manager to let them know that someone had smeared excrement on the floor in there. Truly a shocking experience.

Just went here to meet a group of my colleagues for something to eat and was told that they were doing takeaway only .I asked if they had changed the closing time as it was only 3pm and she replied that they were closing early as it had been quiet ! I ordered a takeaway coffee and phoned friends to change cafe .Photo is of the large cappuccino! Half a cup of cold coffee. Don't bother going here lots more lovely coffee shops close by.
