Caffe Nero in City of London, Westminster

My new favorite coffee shop. Excellent fresh brewed latte, cappuccino, cold brew and more. Nice selection of baked goods. Almond croissant was very good and the new Porridge is a healthy way to start your day. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Hi, We went there for a drink and a snack, the place was Ok, the food and drink were good, the place was clean, we went upstairs were it was spacious.

This is a very good store, 2 very friendly baristas served me. Store was very clean, there are no customer toilets though.

We had 2 teas, tiramisu and cheesecake. I think we paid £13. Excellent desserts. I recommend it, but there are no toilets.

The Attitude of the man that served was so terrible. After getting my drink wrong he demanded that I pay for another drink. When I said no he became really aggressive.

Really friendly staff, went out of their way to make me feel welcome and made a superb coffee. Thank you 🙏

I received horrible service from Natalia today. I had a loyalty card. Natalia didn't know how to process the transaction, so she kept me waiting for 5 minutes whilst she added and removing the drink whilst commenting what she was doing. When the drink was made, Natalia shouted come and get your free drink, then when I went to the till to collect the drink she loudly commented in the future when you are getting free drinks remember you need to do them in separate transactions in a rude tone. When I walked back to my table, Natalia again commented, "You are getting free drinks really loudly." I found the lack of professionalism and comments extremely embarrassing. I have been a loyal customer to Nero for the last 10 years plus, and this is the first time I have had such a horrible experience.

Prices on the board are incorrect but they refuse to do anything about it.

Staff members are lovely, polite and kind. 🤗Sadly not toilet 😩

I entered and there were two girls who even before I entered looked at me and started laughing. I asked what type of croissants they had... the first girl couldn't understand me while the other colleague arrived and laughingly asked if I wanted the chocolate croissant... embarrassing. I also work in catering and you certainly don't look at a customer from head to toe... and above all you don't judge them. After their behavior I gave up and left without buying anything. You have lost a customer. All this happened this morning at 9/10…

Service was slow and the coffee was bitter . No customer toilet not a good experience

Good coffee, nice hot and cold food, but no toilets

Wonderful to be able to declare this the slowest service ever. Seemed surprised to find me waiting, then after three attempts, decided to input my order in the till so she didn’t forget (had to start again, obviously), then paused making my drinks because had forgotten half the previous person’s order. Then the man started yelling at the woman. Limited seating (upstairs barred off) and no toilet in store. Nice coffee…..

Small so ok for a quick coffee or tea. No atmosphere downstairs just the usual ban bang of the coffee beans being extracted! Maybe should've gone upstairs but no energy!!

Nada recomendable a pesar de ser una cadena bastante popular en UK. Café de baja calidad, los que te atienden no se enteran de la mitad, y luego te dan cosas que no has pedido. Nah, 0 recomendable

Leicester square cafe nero has best staff who know how to brew a proper coffee..

I quite like this branch, one of the smallest I know but also fairly cosy. As it's mentioned by others, it has no toilet which might be inconvenient for some.

Gorgeous cafeteria with delicious coffee and cakes. I highly recommend the millionaire cake :). The staff was helpful and really kind. Will surely come again!

Really a bad experience from one of the baristas, Mr Tabish... He is really arrogant and not even know how to talk with customers.. If this place has a manager please take any necessary actions against this useless man.

Le serveur nous a pas adressé la parole... et quand il m'a demandé ce que voulais, il m'a dit qu'il ne prendrait que m'a boisson et il m'a demandé direct de payer... j'ai du être désagréable pour lui dire que je souhaitais aussi prendre quelque chose à manger. Quand il a enfin "accepté" de me servir à manger il a fait exprès de pas comprendre ce que je voulais et ils nous a bien fait comprendre de dégager car il allait bientôt fermer.

Coffee was very good, as expected from Caffè Nero. The lady behind the counter however was very impolite (I wanted to go upstairs with my drink and she said upstairs was already closed in a very rude manner) and she really rushed to get all the customers out the door before 6pm. There is also no toilet available.

Poor lighting. Nice and quiet. Staff avoid engaging with You.

Clean, friendly staff. But the top part of the seating area was closed at around 7 pm for some reason - I was asked to move seats. Tasty cheesecake.

It says on their site they’re open at 7am but I got there and waited till 7:20am and it still wasn't open even though there was someone in there. Tried to get his attention and when I did and I asked what time will you be opening and he just looked at me and ignored me. Verify disappointed!!

Too hot and stuffy. Coffee up to standard.

Delicious coffee and hot chocolate. We also took belgian chocolate muffins and they were also great. Unfortunately no toilet, but there is a sign telling that by the door. Kind staff. Nice place to rest!

Unfortunately there is a mice problem. We saw two upstairs & the staff thanked me for notifying them but didn’t attempt to do anything about it or shut the area off.

Well since last in this area Pattiserie Valery is no more (see separate review). One can always rely on excellent Coffee at Caffè Nero. This time paied with Croissants and a Cortado. The absence of a customer loo a roblem for the older customers... Hayling Seagoon

I was treated really rudely by a south Asian young barista today at 17:45, after waiting the whole queue i ordered a regular latte to have in, he refused to serve me in a normal coffee cup, and said that he was only giving me a take away cup, despite other guests served next to me normal cups and mugs. He did not represent the service that Cafe nero normally offers. Even his more senior colleagues looked at him surprised of the way he was treating me, i left at the end to not disturb him as he looked like he had a bad day. Not my fault i was trying to have a quick coffee. Nero needs to revise his attitude

My friends and I had the best coffee ever there👌🏻

I gave this Caffè Nero 4 Stars, and here is why ! First off, it was reasonably clean in there. It wasn’t too hot, like other shops we had been into that day, and it had a nice atmosphere. It wasn’t too big in there, or too small which I liked a lot. One negative is that it took us around 15 minutes to get a tea, tap water and a hot panini. I think it was quite understaffed- there were only 2 baristas there but we thought that there should have been at least 3. I got a mozzarella, pesto and tomato panini and it was delicious ! They heated it up for me and it was so great- I am even thinking about it now !! The tap water I was given was lukewarm and had a few specks of dirt in it, and I would have gone back in the queue and gotten a bottle of water but it was so long and I know it would have taken a while just for that one bottle of water due to the slow service. Overall, I would recommend this Caffè Nero, but not if you are in a rush ! We Thoroughly Enjoyed Sitting In There ! :)

Totally ripped off. Stopped by to get a coffee quickly as I was rushing and got charged £4.45 for a small iced vanila latte (price on the board is £3.45). Vanila costs 50, yeah that’s common and I asked for extra vanila and got charge more without being informed. Rude staff, not even said hi Should have gone to Costa or Starbuck nearby for better coffee and free extra vanila

A good place for a coffee. The pistachio latte coffee is good but the pistachio taste is not strong enough

Severely understaffed. Please hire more people it's not fair on the staff to do the job of three baristas and train at the same time. If you're struggling to keep staff maybe amend your staff treatment. This is in a popular location so I definitely expect better

After a long night shift. I was looking forward to a nice hot Mocca. A trainee barister at Cafe Nero- Leicester Square ( Sunday 10 am. 20.3.2022 ) . Who looked as if he was just waking up. Not only took forever to make the drink, but gave me the most disgusting Moca ever. Unfortunately when I realised how cold and disgusting it was, I was already on the bus on the bus. Wasted almost £4

Small but good coffee and friendly staff

The staff was very kind and helpful. Plus They had a delicious vegan cheese cake!

Stopped here on a Sunday to work a bit on my laptop. Nice and quiet with plugs upstairs next to the couches. It also has free wifi. Had an double expresso and the taste was ok. Couldn't find bathrooms, and not sure why but were only serving with take away cups, not very environment friendly.

Hi Team, I am a regular Customer in Caffe Nero. I usually find the Staff Members very kind to the Customers. However,  today I went to a Caffe Nero very close to Leicester Square station (Cranbourne Street) at 6pm today (22nd Feb). There was this Caucasian woman with a piercing on her chin/face. She didn't welcome me and she was doing some work with her dishwasher and gave me a weird look, which was a sign of "what do you want?" . Then I ordered my Coffee and said Extra hot please. She asked "what", and I replied again "Extra Hot". She didn't acknowledge that, therefore I said again "Extra Hot please", when she started making the coffee. She turned towards me and said "that's the 3rd time you are telling me". Then she started being rude to me and very aggressive. She said I should have had a "bad day". I said "no, I have had a lovely day. But you seem to hate your job and that's why you are being rude". She said "I don't have to like my job and I am only working for money". She was so rude and she said "you don't know about me. Don'ttry getting personal with me" and started being very aggressive. I love Caffe Nero and all the stores I have visited have always had lovely and kind staff members. I have never seen such a rude and aggressive staff member! You can view the CCTV for what had happened. She was the only staff at that time and she kept arguing and said wouldn't serve me coffee at one point. I just left. Please take action against this rude staff member. She doesn't like her job and she is so aggressive. She even said "I don't careeven if they fire me" asa response to my statement. Really friendly staff, couldn't do enough for us. Polite, efficient, charming - and great coffee! Will certainly go back whenever I'm in Covent Garden. We didn't feel rushed at all - but welcomed as a guest! The barrista appeared to be managing on our visit and he was great!

Very rude staff told me to watch my tone how I speak to women in this country I felt very offended. Also wrote a complaint to caffe nero and no response yet. Awful experience of my life ever!

Not sure if she was the manager as was dressed differently to the other staff. But the lady was so rude and miserable. Firstly there was no ice for an iced latte. Secondly we asked for a festive vegan drink which states can be “made 100% fully vegan” to which she says it won’t be 100% vegan because of the chocolate. And then just started being rude saying the “milk is 100% vegan but the other stuff may not be”. Well why does it advertise it being vegan then? She was just so rude and nasty and made us feel so unwelcome while we sat and had our one drink. She was also sat complaining about customers across the cafe while she was sat down eating her dinner. However the lady serving us with blue hair was very friendly and handled the situation well.

Rude barista. We came in about an hour before closing time and rudely told off one of the customers that the upstairs area is not available anymore as they were about to close. Also, kept on asking us quickly about our orders when we were just deciding what to order. Doesn't have much queue at that time. It was just us (me and 2 of my friends) and one lady. It isn't expensive to be nice. It's not like we're begginf for free stuff. Will definitely NOT order again.

Very disappointed. Went to meet my daughter in town after very busy day. We stopped off to grab a tea and sandwich. After ordering we could not connect to the wi fi. Tried multiple times as drinks were getting cold. Told assistant my daughter needed to go outside to find alternate wi fi to log onto her banking app. The assistant kept asking how I would pay so rep the situation. Spoilt the day. After paying I rushed my sandwich and couldn't wait to leave. Never again. Sort wi fi or change network.

Bought some coffee bean from this store a couple of weeks ago. When I was about to open it and made coffee when I reached home, I was shocked to find that the expiry date was Aug 2020 which is a year ago!!! After I emailed this to the customer service, nobody got back to me since then. What I'm more concerned is what sort of coffee bean they use to make coffee at stores. Are they gonna use gone off coffee bean to make coffee???

Was desperate for a drink and came to this first. Wasn't very big but we did get a table and seats upstairs. The drinks were good. Only downside was no toilet and the stairs were hard for me with my mobility issues

Love cafe nero taste, it's massively grew on me, it's not as strong as other well know brands, but it want give you the jitters either, lovely if you need a bit of perk, nice staff , the venue just need a toilet

This is a nice cozy corner store right opposite the Cambridge theatre. The staff managers the queues effectively and they are friendly. The coffee and cakes and tasty and fresh! We loved stopping in here after our screening of Matilda.

A good spot to avoid the hustle and bustle of other local coffee shops. You can grab a seat the vast majority of the time and have space to drink your coffee in peace.

Just stop by for a quick coffee. Just outside Leicester Square station. Unfortunately this place is always busy, I suppose is expected as is Central London isnt it. Este Nero era muy desordenado y las mesas necesitaban una limpieza adecuada. El café era aceptable pero el pastel era demasiado dulce y seco. Lamentablemente no es una experiencia agradable.
