Caffe Nero in Hillingdon

Nice location, overlooking runway - but that's about all. The person who served me wasn't one bit interested in doing her job - in fact she was more interested in using her hand cream than the customers. Error made in charging - no apology - why am I surprised ! Numerous uncleared tables. Coffee was OK - no more.

Filthy. Tables unclean. Dirty floors with splashed coffee and no warning signs of “wet floor” Tables and chairs worn, tatty and crumbs on them. This was at 0815 on a Sun morning so goodness knows what it will look like later today…..!!! 🤢

This is a slightly better one, some staff good, some not so, prices high, but you expect that, being at Heathrow. Food and drink good.

We were on our way home after a lovely few weeks welcoming our third Grand-Daughter into the world. We have plenty of time to relax before Check-In and so we stopped off at Caffè Nero for a well earned Hot Drink & Sandwich. Good selection of Food available as well as Drinks - Hot & Cold - all at an expected price, although the Coffees were very comparable to the High Street Coffee Chains. We sat to enjoy a Decaf Flat White & Latte with a Chicken Salad Sandwich & Tuna, Ted Pepper & Spinach Sandwich. Service was efficient and there is plenty of seating to be had.

Friendly service and very quick too - and the price could be worse for Heathrow, but I do wish they'd give you cup sleeves for their Flat Whites, I nearly burnt my hands carrying them to the table! Seems like they do a decent range of food and pastries; the drinks board was varied too.

Staff standing around chatting behind counter yet several tables incredibly dirty with lots of used coffee cups and paper waste. During these times there should be no excuse!

While waiting at the airport, we took a break at this place! The staff was friendly, drinks were great, no complaint at all

If you want people to queue in a certain direction, get a sign saying so. Don't come out from behind the counter shouting and waving your arms in the air. If you're getting stressed on a Sunday morning with 4 people in the queue, that isn't a good start...

Well, we were stuck in Heathrow airport for more than an hour. The food court and waiting area was packed, and we needed coffee.Fortunately, Caffe Nero was ready and waiting.The staff was friendly and efficient.The coffee latte I had was tasty and sweet.The atmosphere was modern and adventurous.The prices were fair and reasonable.I'll confess that I also had a chocolate chip cookie here.Highly recommended!

空港に早く着いてしまってコーヒーを飲みたくて利用しました。カフェネロは市内にもたくさんあり、滞在中に何度か利用しましたが、値段も高すぎず、何度か利用させていただきました。

I like Caffe Nero coffee, and this is a good spot to see planes take off and land while waiting for my flight or to meet someone. Helpful staff at a very busy location. Would be much improved if they turned off the music. Nearly everyone has music on their phone if they want it. Everyone has different tastes. Piped music is just annoying.

6am in Heathrow, just in from Australia, and its the only place open where we are waiting for a connecting flight. The coffee and hot chocolates were very good, the staff friendly. The croissants were a bit tired, maybe baked yesterday afternoon but not fresh today. The staff were happy to let us occupy a table until checkin. So that was nice.

At 4.30 am to have a bad coffee is not perfect mood to start your day.i had a double machiatto sour,but it was more like a latte ,staff they was talking in their languange (indian punjaby hindi)which is not nice in front of customers .they didnt ask about receipts,heatrow points card ,or nero points card,

Comme souvent les lieux de restauration des aéroports ils ne faut pas s'attendre à énormément. Donc pas grand chose à dire sur la qualité moyenne des produits, que ce soit les cafés ou viennoiseries, mais plus surprenant aucun effort pour le règlement, ni dollars, ni euros, le brexit est déjà là ?

No surprises, except it is there and no one else is! Just the place to find something to take with you on the journey home or away.

In recent years the quality of the three or four large cafe chains in the UK have deteriorated significantly but Cafe Nero outdoes them all.

When to drop family off early in the morning, we got to the depature gates early so thought we would have a coffee and food before they left. Went to get served and the cashier at the till told me that the till was now closed after serving a customer, which I was om with so I joint the other queue from the back, for that cashier to open back up once I got to the back of the other line. WTF! Spoke to the manager, who came across as not giving a care in the world and said I will speak with her, rather than saying, apologies let me push your order through or provide any remorse to the poor customer service I faced! Understand they are a budget version of costa or starbucks, but doesnt mean their manners should be of that quality aswell!

Turned up with my reusable cup which I carry everywhere . Ordered a skinny flat white . Seemed smaller than offered in Costa and no discount given for using own cup . Even when challenged I was charged £2.70 as advertised

Met a few friends for coffee before the flight and I have never encounter a place like this, the staff were rude and abrupt, made us feel like we were an inconvenience to them. The lady was serving us was just awful. It’s a shame that a big chain like cafe Nero have this kind of service! Absolutely awful!

3 hours to kill before our flight to,Seattle and the airport terminal is heaving as are the majority of food and coffee outlets. Managed to find 4 seats not in but near to Nero's and then began what we thought wold be a long wait in the queue for coffee, pleasantly surprised the staff dealt with the queue efficiently and we spent a pleasant hour sipping coffee and eating cookies. I expect it is always this busy and it was great to see the staff deal with it all in their stride.

Whenever in Heathrow I always like to get a black coffee from Nero after checking in my suitcases and before going to security. Out of all the coffee "chains" their coffee is by far the best quality.

Popped in here for sandwiches and a drink before our flight. Had a good range on offer and too extortionately priced. Plenty of seating available and staff were friendly and efficient.

Caffè Nero serve the best coffee in my opinion and this outlet was no different. Yes it gets busy but it’s in the airport so it can only be expected! Despite being busy, the service is always quick and friendly.

I bought a Cup tea in Caffè Nero and was very strong, half way through I went to ask to add a little bit more hot water and the woman attendant didn’t do it saying I need to pay for another tea which is the same price as a cup coffee. I didn’t want to argue and didn’t want to throw my tea away. So I paid for another tea/water.

After a 19 hour flight this was my go to, the staff where disinterested. I had a carrot cake and cappuccino, the carrot cake just came on a plate no cream or anything that set it apart and it was very average. The coffee was fantastic. The seating and area was a little bit grubby and just had a bit of a rundown feeling. I should have tried to find a Starbucks or something.

The queue to order was long and the tables were very busy. I ordered a large cappuccino "with sprinkles on top" (this is default in Australia but I've learned to ask for it in the UK). The order taker had no idea what I meant! I mentioned "chocolate". I was then asked what size I wanted even though I had stated this originally. The coffee was delivered with 2 chocolate chip bits on top. As I drank the coffee I discovered more lumps of chocolate at the bottom. On the plus side, the coffee flavour was consistent with other Caffe Nero coffee.

I don't expect too much of an airport cafe but this was a pleasant experience. The staff were very fast and efficient and polite as well. I was actually at Terminal 3 but it doesn't have its own page. I find Caffè Nero coffee somewhat bitter usually but this flat white certainly hit the spot!

We chose this coffee shop since most of the restaurants here are too pricey. Sandwiches, breads and croissants are freshly served. Nice quick break for a hungry folks.

Staff need to learn to make a cappuccino first, when someone ask for chocolate on top that means they want to taste it, not just asked for decoration purpose. She filled the cup till the top and sprinkled chocolate and then place the lid. Voila! All chocolate is on the lid.

In the corner of Terminal 5 may not be the most inspiring ambience for a Nero outlet, but the views across the airport on a sunny day were fascinating and the staff were friendly and efficient. All the usual products are stocked and there is a good range of comfortable seating.

It's 6 am and I'm stuck at Terminal 3 (missing terrific Terminal 5). Time for coffee. Not a lot of choices here... I ended up at Cafe Nero.

Visited yesterday and even that the place had no more than 25 customers seating down and just two in line ahead of us, it took us 25 minutes to get to frappes

Это итальянское заведение я обнаружил сразу при входе в терминал 2 лондонского аэропорта Хитроу. Рейс мой задерживался и пришлось изучать все кафе в зоне до вылета и соответственно их меню. Наверное дамам и детям здесь понравится: есть множество сладостей и выпечки, да и много людей ходит по зоне аэропорта с синими стаканами с надписью Nero. Что-то существенное здесь перекусить вряд ли удастся. и ещё очень жалко, что у них нет...пива! Очень жаль. Иначе я бут задержался бы подольше....))

「イギリス版ドトール」といえばいいのか、どこにでもあるNERO。ヒースローでも利用させていただきました。物価の高い空港の飲食店で、格安でコーヒー飲めるのはありがたいです。

I rarely frequent coffee shops but we had time to spare seeing off a traveller at Terminal 5 and I had a Cappuccino and ham and cheese panini. They were very good. Service was efficient and there are superb views of the runway. However when we went to find comfortable seats, all spare tables had not been cleaned and were covered with cups and rubbish. We moved these on another already loaded table and sat in armchairs which appeared to be a job lot from a secondhand shop. None matched and they looked ready for the tip.

This Caffe Nero in arrivals at terminal two was open late on a Saturday evening for the last flight in. Everywhere else was closed. The staff were friendly and efficient and the coffee was good. I was grateful to find somewhere open to have a coffee whilst awaiting passengers from a late night flight

Nice place to hit up in the airport and I think they have the best coffee of the regular coffee chains. Pretty quick service.

This is situated landslide in departures at terminal 5. The food and coffee is good, but the decor is disappointing with some very scruffy and dirty chairs

Solides Cafe mit freundlichem Service. Über fertige Sandwiches, Scones und Muffins gibt es dort allerlei leckere Dinge zu kaufen. Ja - es ist dort meistens voll und dadurch kommt es zu Wartezeiten. Liegt wahrscheinlich daran, dass das Cafe in einem stark frequentierten Bereich des Flughafen Heathrow liegt. Man sollte ein wenig Zeit mitbringen.

Waited in line for over 20 minutes for packet food, not impressed. I'm not sure why in an airport this company would not understand the need for a quick turn around.

We tried this once; it was really great and well organized.... The staff are very active and very friendly.... We enjoyed also the wooden furniture.....

Of the large chains Nero remains my favorite, although not all baristas might have reached perfection (yet).

In my opinion Nero has the best coffee in England very similar to the Italian style. My muffin was not that great but my coffee was fantastic, well decorated place, they have some lovely polite baristas working in there.

長旅の後で軽めの夕食をいただきました。コーヒーはどちらかと言えばガツンと来るような濃いめです。サンドイッチは可もなく不可もなくといった感じで、ポリッジはそのまま食べると優しい感じの味ですが、だんだん飽きてくるのでジャムかはちみつを追加するほうがいいと思います。

É um bom café no aeroporto (o capuccino pequeno é imenso!!). Bacana para tomar um café ou levá-lo para o vôo.

We had over an hour to kill waiting for a coach home so popped in to CN for a snack. Very comfortable and pleasant staff, good tea and a nice pannini. However - expensive. I do get fed up with airport prices and if I could bring a flask through security......

The coffee is always hot and fresh, but don't count on getting anything to eat. The few times I have come through there is not much available. And the place is never clean--I don't think they bus the tables. If all you want is coffee or tea, go for it.

Firstly credit to Caffe Nero; at least they are there to serve the thirsty traveller, there is no no other coffee place in the common departures area (there is a restaurant). Service was quick; however a cappuccino was VERY frothy, at least a third was froth. Also a flat white had too much froth for this type of drink. Both drinks consequently rather milky. Reasonable prices; no advantage taken of their monopoly.

The barrister prepared good cup of caramel latte and consistent hot porridges. However, while doing their rounds of clearing the tables and crockeries, they are blatantly loud and rough. Also for management to note, the volume of the music is extremely loud especially in the evening onwards when particular employees are on duty. Very annoying as no conversations can be conducted...everybody tends to then raise their voices shouting to speak to each other

Heathrow is a big and noisy place. If you find yourself in Terminal 3 make sure you check out Nero’s. I actually bought snacks and souvenirs to bring back to the states, right there. I would rate it above average. Also, it is one of the rare places you can sit and enjoy your meal. I recommend this place because it took care of my interest for a good meal and I liked the coffee. Check it out!

Fair selection of food and drinks. Queue can be long especially during lunch time. The couches need upholstery as they are really dirty and shabby.

We used the Caffe Nero in Terminal 2 at Heathrow, but I am sure the services are the same as those in Terminal 5. Foods are displayed in a free-standing double-sided shelving unit so patrons can examine and then pick and choose their selections. I purchased a bowl of carrot soup (my favorite soup) for lunch for under 5GBP which was heated upon request and placed in a brown paper bag with plastic spoon and napkins. Sandwiches (around 3.50GBP) could also be heated on their panini toasters for a hot sandwich or if in a rush, eaten cold. These looked tastier than the sandwiches offered in nearby Boots, and a grocery store. Other foods to grab included diced fruit cups but no whole fruits, a selection of pastries, and salads. Food looked fresh and appetizing. Food for purchase was "to-go"; tables were available nearby. There were no line-ups so service was prompt. My very hot carrot soup was a generous serving, delicious, and filling. A bun would have been a nice accompaniment. Caffe Nero offered reasonably priced tasty food to-go for a fast meal. A great stop when you don't have time to linger between catching flights. I did notice that airflight personnel also purchased to-go items here - a sure sign of good food.

I use terminal 5 on a very regular basis and my pre check in ritual always consists of a large 4 shot black americano. I can't see this changing either, the coffee is always well made and served with a smile.

Pleasant staff and rather jolly. The biggest let down is the state of the furniture. It would appear to me that the culture of this group is to let things look a little quite tatty and then replace them. What I mean is it's not fine detail and the sofas and furniture looked worn out and very tired - I have experience this other branches of this group.

There are Two Nero in T5 Arrival hall, the south one that I visited are less chaothic, most visitors go to the other one. The Coffee are Ok++, so are the cakes, only thing that has to be improved are the lack of plates and proper cups. To eat cake from a paperbag... Well, just No.

I've visited Caffe Nero T5 on my way to work. Shop is always very bussy but coffee alaways taste nice and consistent. Food average but you cannot expect more from a coffe shop.

Nice big comfy chairs and sofas make this an ideal spot to sit and wait, whilst enjoying one of the many different options available. The music is in keeping with the decor (jazz and classical mix) and is played more as background so as not to interfere with conversations and reunions.

Typical airport café, serving coffee and other drinks as well as a limited selection of hot and cold foods. I had a breakfast Panini, a coffee and a juice bottle for the plane; all were just fine. Of course, prices were more expensive than off-airport, but that's to be expected......

It was yet another cold day in UK but we were unprepared for the further drop in temperature to -1.Luckily for our frozen noses...we found Nero just in time.This warm n inviting cafe has cosy nooks where you can spend time with ur loved ones or for that matter be urself n carry on official work uninterrupted for hours together.One can watch the world go by or just curl up with their lovely collection of books.The cafe offers delicious scones with clotted cream n cute tiny bottles of jam to go with ur order.Its prime location on high street near the treaty centre probably entices even more regulars.And the best part it stays open even upto 8pm which is rare in this area.

I'm with SMD744, I want to tell you about the Cafe Nero at the south end of T5 arrivals. It's out of the way and the main passenger traffic pattern, so it's never stupid busy or crazy crowded. Service, staff, and the coffee are excellent, and the prices are downright reasonable by UK and Heathrow standards.

This is a very popular cafe, although small, and is also frequented by the airline staff too. Staff are friendly and efficent even dealing with very long queues. Food was fresh - my only criticism was the wishy-washy tea (breakfast tea) - it had no taste or strength whatsoever - awful! Suggest they change their brand as this is not very British!

I had just a short amount of time before my American Airlines flight to Chicago, and so I hoped to get a drink at one of the Terminal 3 locations quickly (it was close to Gate 40 if that helps). I was not disappointed. My latte was excellent and they made it quickly. I would stop here again if I'm ever in this part of Heathrow.

The coffee a good and prices are reasonable considering you're at the airport. It seems however that they start to clean tables once they run out of cups.

the big Caffe NERO on the departures level (northern end) of T5 at Heathrow is great, but there is a tiny gem of a Caffe Nero on the Arrivals level (southern end) too, and this does not appear to be 'find-able' on Trip Advisor. This is a shame because this coffee shop is outstanding. Why? Simply because the staff are acting as one team, they clearly all get on, and they are working in harmony, with a smile on their faces. I am a regular and I know that the staff are long term, meaning quite simply they are happy in their work. My only criticism is the fresh pastries do not last beyond midday! You need to order more in please! Those of us visiting in the afternoon are missing out. Recommend the apricot Danish, ooh so fresh.

I came here for a coffee before my flight; there is no queue/line up system at all so while they have multiple registers open, all were busy and no one knew where to stand and wait to be next in line and all of we customers waiting kept asking each other, are you in the queue and there was a bit of confusion. They need to implement a queue system with a barrier so that customers get taken in the order they arrived. That being said, once I did arrive, the lady behind the register was friendly, my latte was hot and perfectly prepared and they were very nice and the coffee was good!

I had an international flight from Heathrow Terminal 3 on a weekday morning. I stopped at the Caffe Nero for a drink and a breakfast pastry. Although it was crowded, they had many registers open. The service was fast, and the counter person was friendly. The chocolate croissant that I selected was fluffy and had the right amount of chocolate. I would recommend Caffe Nero for a business traveler or tourist who is looking for a quick bite at the airport. They also have sandwiches you can take away.
