Caffe Nero in City of London, Westminster

Not enough seating side. Refused to turn on the heaters outside because the stock room is too messy to get to the switch. Ridiculous reason to not keep customers warm.

I ordered a coffee and some other things at this café for £10.55 and paid with my card. The barista said the card didn’t work, so I paid in cash. Later, after checking my account, I noticed they also took money from my account, which means I ended up paying twice. When I went back in, she said they would refund it automatically, but I still haven’t received the refund after a month. Now I can’t go back there since I am not living in London. So, be careful...

MOST The coffee and the tiramisu were fine. Of course do not expect a high class tiramisu but good enough when you need dessert. TR Coffee and tiramisu were nice. Of course, you shouldn't have very high expectations, but if you have a sweet tooth, you can eat it.

Highly recommended place for breakfast. Quite cheap price and abundant food. The service is very good and the place is quiet to have a quiet breakfast. To repeat.

Nice bright cafe within walking distance of many hotels in Mayfair. There is a bar seating area with a huge window that allows you to relax and watch the people and cars go by. The batista was very patient and helped me to pick a drink. A vanilla berry latte. It was delicious. So was the croissant.

I usually order my coffee from Nero on Curzon Street every morning, but I have noticed that not everyone there is nice and polite. The past couple of days, Thursday, 22nd August and Friday, 23rd August, left me quite disappointed. This has happened before, but it's becoming unacceptable for it to happen every day. On Thursday, I ordered a coffee using the Click and Collect service and went to pick it up nearly 30 minutes later, knowing from past experiences that they might be busy or could forget to prepare the coffee. When I arrived, the coffee wasn't ready, and there was no acknowledgment that my order had even been received. Today, Friday, was even worse. I went to collect my order after 15-20 minutes, and not only had my order not been acknowledged again, but the ticket for my coffee was crumpled up and thrown in the bin. This level of disrespect and disregard for customers is disgraceful. I hope the management takes these issues seriously and improves their service. Suelo pedir mi café a Nero en Curzon Street todas las mañanas, pero he notado que no todos son agradables y educados. Los últimos días, jueves 22 de agosto y viernes 23 de agosto, me dejaron bastante decepcionado. Esto ha pasado antes, pero se está volviendo inaceptable que suceda todos los días. El jueves, pedí un café usando el servicio Click and Collect y fui a recogerlo casi 30 minutos después, sabiendo por experiencias pasadas que podrían estar ocupados o podrían olvidarse de preparar el café. Cuando llegué, el café no estaba listo, y no hubo reconocimiento de que mi pedido había sido recibido. Hoy, viernes, fue aún peor. Fui a recoger mi pedido después de 15-20 minutos, y no solo no se había vuelto a acusar recibo de mi pedido, sino que el ticket para mi café se arrugó y se tiró a la papelera. Este nivel de falta de respeto y desprecio por los clientes es vergonzoso. Espero que la dirección se tome en serio estos temas y mejore su servicio. Es decepcionante ver que un lugar que visito regularmente no cumple con los estándares básicos de servicio al cliente.

This isn’t just any Nero, it feels like a lovely local coffee shop. Danielo(??) is a warm Friendly face to come pick a coffee up from all times of day, always met with. I'm a fan of the Caffe Nero. This one was handling a lively crowd and gave me a very enjoyable latte and sausage pastry. Definitely a place to come and get a hit of caffeine and something in the belly before a full day.

The condition of the bathroom at this place is embarrassing. It smelled so bad I couldn’t be in there more than 1 minute. It’s completely abandoned from a cleaning perspective. I’m not kidding this bathroom hasn’t been cleaned in FOREVER. It’s unbearable smell should have been enough for the staff to think “maybe we should clean the bathroom?” It’s the filthiest bathroom I think I’ve ever been in. Outhouses in the woods are better than this. 0 exaggeration it’s that bad. Embarrassing really

The staff is polite and friendly, however the coffee was average.

I never find myself the need of leaving a review on chain cafe's, but, today is different. The 2 ladies working had a very not welcoming and rude attitude towards me and the other person who visited the place. I approached to ask them if I could borrow 2 plates since, even though we were eating in, they gave us the food in paper bags, the shocking thing is that she was on her phone "showing something funny" to the other lady and had the audacity to finish the video first, and then asked my question... Not only that, they denied the 2 plates, "just ebcause it was only 2 of them in the shift"... what? Also, the toilets were a mess, not the type of mess that you would expect from coffee chains... but worst, like nobody has cleaned in at least three days. I asked another question, and instead of just answering she just nodded and as I walked away laughed.... whatever the reason for laughing is, it does not come off right. If you get a job, you do it right. You are not doing a favor for a company... you got the job because you needed it, so I do not think is fair to act towards customers like you are doing a favor to Cafe Nero lol. Food was excellent though.

Giving 1 star because they have gone several days without working WiFi now and seem to be in no hurry to fix it. Being a café in 2023 and not offering working WiFi or fixing within 24h is unacceptable for an enterprise.

Very nice location with outside seating also in the cold days. Staff is incredibly friendly. Quality coffee and delicious sweets. Will come again for sure!

Drinks not made to standard. No vanilla flavour in the luxury caramel latte and the staff was using sugar free vanilla, instead of vanilla syrup.

My friend and I visited your Curzon Street, Mayfair, London cafe on Sunday morning, 17th September. I ordered two Americano's from a very unfriendly, dismissive employee. She treated me with such disdain like my order was a total inconvenience. After she had 'served' me and my friend, I asked for her name as I was so disgusted. It began with 'S', I couldn't quite make it out, she was the one with a head scarf on. She asked if I had an issue and I said "yes, you are extremely rude!". I would also like to point out that whilst one was serving, the other was crouched down on her phone behind the counter and vice versa. I won't be visiting this branch ever again.

Ordered one cappuccino and a carrot cake on 26 of July 2023. The cappuccino tasted like hot milk, the carrot cake first fork crushed like cookies, i van tell it was left over. Went to the young lady who serves me(her name was Alexandra). Gave it back, no refund went to nearest pret.

This is now my go to coffee shop in Mayfair. I've got to know a few of the staff and they're lovely, and really attentive. The service can be a little slow at times but it's a busy place. The best thing is being about to people watch. It's hilarious. The number of girls who check themselves out in the shop window is bonkers. And there is a bloke who goes here most Tuesday afternoons and has a power phone call outside and looks at himself being all powerful and dominant in the window whilst he's being so important. Honestly, going for the coffee is great. But going and watching the people is even better.

It’s getting worse everyday.. I live nearby and used to come here quite often. They used to have lovely staff, but now staff are really unfriendly, no thank you, no smile, it’s like they are doing you a huge favour and is just an inconvenience to be there. A lot of my neighbours stoped coming here for this exact reason! Coffee used to be good but it’s becoming worse and worse. You would want to think that is just a bad day, but the unfriendliness and bad coffee is just all the time. Is such a shame as the employees used to be so friendly and the coffee, in my opinion, good! However, if the coffee is not good and the staff is so unfriendly then there is just no point. Will not return!

I ordered Frappe Mocha but they gave me hot mocha. When i requested for exchange they said the machine is not working. So disappointing.

Walked in here recently , but I walked straight out again , the place was filthy , empty tables full of dirty cups and half eaten cakes , two seats were free by the window , but there was rubbish all over the floor and the table was dirty with crumbs and an overturned paper cup spilling remnants of coffee, the two chairs there looked really greasy and dirty , I felt like I didn’t want to touch anything or sit there , it wasn’t particularly busy and there was no one at the counter ordering coffee so it’s not like the staff were preoccupied with a rush of people buying coffee, I do remember going here a few years ago and it was fine , that’s what drew me back , but it was quite a disappointment to see how it is now , you’d expect something a bit special in the heart of Mayfair but this is just a grubby cafe , if your ordering to take out it would be fine I guess , just not an environment I’d want to sit down in .

A cosy small place to hang out for a wonderful snacking.

It didn’t start well with no greeting. My husband asked for two teas, one black and one with milk on the side. Both teas were presented with milk, when my husband said he had asked for only one with milk on the side, the young blond lady visibly rolled her eyes and huffed. I fully appreciate that hospitality are struggling however there was no excuse for not apologising when it was clearly her fault. It was busy, they clearly are under pressure and we all make mistakes, just apologise when you get it wrong and don’t visibly show your frustration.

Only wanted a quick coffee. Full cafe with an area closed but refused us a seat because they were closing in 30mins - we only wanted to be there for 10 mins.

A pretty good branch of Caffé Nero, close to some unique architecture, Shepherd's Market and the Curzon Mayfair cinema.

The best Cafe Nero in London, in a nice location with friendly staff (always) and coffee never fails. Atmosphere in the morning is top with lovely Classical music to ease you into the day. The same can be said for the evening setting as well. My most favourite about this Cafe Nero, there's a bay window (end to end in the store) overlooking the busy Curzon streets (Half Moon Street). The bay window is also a good setting to catch up on work with a laptop/tablet, drinking great coffee! 10 out of 10!

Awful attitude! Popped in here to grab a tuna melt sandwich. Only one customer waiting at the counter to be served. Probably had been served already and was just waiting for his coffee. I acknowledged the girl wearing pink striped t-shirt who was behind the counter and she blatantly ignored me and went forwards to rest her arms at the side of the counter and look outside. So appalling! I'm not sure if she was the manager or something but I'm really sorry, if you don't like working in a set-up where you have to greet and work with customers, then please don't. Imagine a customer saying hi to you and you look at the customer but choose to ignore. The guy who served me in the end was polite though.

Hours should be updated. Went there at 7:10 and the barista said they’re not opening until 7:30. It’s a real waste of time when you’ve walked 15 minutes to get here
