Caffe Nero in King's Lynn and West Norfolk

Perhaps you're not supposed to like places like this, but we did. What makes it good are the comfy armchairs and relaxed atmosphere. The coffee is pretty OK too.

Called in on Friday lunchtime. Only one person on the counter so service was very slow. No tables were being cleared - another customer, who I assume was a regular, started clearing them, but we were sitting near the counter and could see there was nowhere to actually put the used cups!

I had a great time here this afternoon. Super cozy environment and the barista I spoke to, Lucy, had great product knowledge, easily advising me of what would or wouldn't be suitable for me as I have a dairy allergy. So friendly and helpful, taking my million questions in stride. Asset to the company!

I love nero coffee but unfortunately I now won't be going back. Its never been the cleanest place, I avoid using the toilets as they are usually pretty disgusting and appear to not be checked on throughout the day. The entire cafe is very grubby and unsanitary, it has put me off of consuming food and drink from there. Sitting In is not a relaxing environment, I sat on a sofa today and I sat on the edge as there was dried food spilt on the side. The staff clearly haven't cleaned for a while and then I noticed the back of the sofa which was full of crumbs and rubbish behind the cushion. It's not a difficult task to clean! The staff are not very welcoming and were eating behind the serving counter. Sadly, the chain/management/staff appear to not be bothered about customer satisfaction. I'll be heading to costa/Starbucks from now on!

Excellent coffee, staff couldn't have been more helpful will definitely be going back. It is very popular so can be very busy but atmosphere very good.

Always treated this as my go to coffee shop to meet my dad weekly. Not any more! They don’t listen, messed up my order even asking 3 times to be very clear for a Milano hot chocolate. Presumed I was taking away which I wasn’t and was pissy when I said it was wrong and wasn’t taking away. Whispering to each other no doubt about how picky I was for wanting the same order I’ve placed for 6 years. Bad attitude. Won’t be back. Another customer lost to Costa!

Visiting at about midday on the 30th December my daughter and I ordered coffee and vegan sausage rolls with coleslaw . First the trainee had to come and tell us that we hadn't been charged (in error obviously) for the coleslaw so my daughter duly went and paid. The plates arrived and we began eating only to discover we had meat sausage rolls! I took my plate back and asked if they were sure these were the vegetarian option and was told that my daughter had jot specified the vegan sausage roll. This is simply ridiculous as my daughter ALWAYS asks for the vegetarian/vegan option especially if there is a meat and non-meat item on the menu. As if this wasn't bad enough there was a cursory, and I mean THE briefest of apologies, and no follow up at all!! We were not offered our money back or a substitute dish with the correct item. We had gone to sit back down and it became clear that this matter was not going to be resolved by staff except for the very aggressive banging of crockery and cutlery right behind the counter we were sitting against. Let me make it clear that we had only taken a mouthful of the offending item - not cleared our.plates and then complained. We are long standing customers of thos branch but sorry to say the attitude we encountered today along with fact that we both felt slightly nauseated by having eaten meat, King's Lynn Caffè Nero will not be visited by is again. It would be 0 stars if that were possible.

Despite the coffee being extremely pleasant, the customer service of the female member of staff that served me was appalling. Not only did she get shirty when I asked for my loyalty card to be scanned after I had paid, she started serving another customer whilst finishing my order alongside making snide comments. To cap it all, she provided me with dirty cutlery. When my wife asked for it to be changed, she didn’t even apologise. If the coffee hadn’t been so good, the rating would have been 0. This is the 1st and last time I will be visiting this branch. The member off staff needs an attitude adjustment.

Caffe Nero in King’s Lynn is a decent branch of the chain. Situated in the rather dull shopping area of the town it is a spacious and tidy cafe. The coffee, as usual, was spot on and the service friendly and efficient.

A group of decided to have coffee today during a break from Christmas shopping. It wasn’t particularly busy, with only one customer coming in behind us. The girl who served us was quite rude in her mannerisms, started to serve another customer before we finished our order and didn’t listen to our order as she kept repeating the same questions. Overall her service was very rude and we won’t be repeating the experience.

One particular member of staff was rude and service always poor when she is on. I questioned the price of my drinks and was rudely corrected. Not what I expected. The manager rectified it but no apology was made. After being asked to step aside and waited 15 mins my order was still wrong. Can safely say after giving it many chances I will be finding somewhere else to spend my lunch break

Expensive coffee. Indifferent staff. Perhaps that's NFA (normal for Norfolk!) They seemed pleased when we went and smiled! Don't recommend.

I’ve visited pretty much every week with my father for many years. Always friendly staff with good information, good coffees and hot chocolates. Good atmosphere and plenty of newspapers. Clean facilities. Always a pleasure to visit!

Still the best coffee in King’s Lynn!Staff and Manager very hospitable and nothing is ever too much trouble. - Even gave me a free taster of iced coffee for future reference!Would thoroughly recommend the food here too. Love sitting in the leather chairs in front of the window people spotting and watching the world go by. Would thoroughly recommend for any time of day.

although you get a very expensive but good quality cup of de-caf Americano incafé nero in comfortable surroundings I doubt I will be going back simply becauseto charge extra for de-caf and hide the extra cost in the small print at the bottom left of the price board is going too far no wonder the place is always empty.

Visited this afternoon-3.30pm Monday 23rd April- as a customer I felt I was interrupting the conversation between the staff and a woman standing at the counter- don't think she was a customer. Carried on their conversation whilst serving me with average coffee- no thank you! Tables not cleared around us, instead of talking perhaps they could spend their time more productively clearing up and cleaning the premises!! Premium price- second rate service!

Coffee and hot chocolate always good in Nero and staff very pleasant. Cardboard cups OK but why those awful plastic spoons?

Visited for a coffee with a few friends, the deputy manager was training a barista, but she was too busy letting everyone know that she was the deputy manager and chatting to other staff members that mistakes were made and there was a longer than usual wait. The trainee was more professional than she was. Toilets weren’t very clean either,

The staff here are happy and naturally friendly; otherwise nothing out of the ordinary and the trays could do with a proper clean. A nice place for a quiet cuppa

Been coming in here for years but just lately have noticed how friendly and charming the staff are, particularly Lisa who is so quick in her service yet so friendly, everyone gets treated with the same cheer and professionalism and it’s the same on every visit! Coffee always excellent, pastries always fresh. Well done Lisa and team.....

I used to go in here quite a lot, but was weaned away to Costa's. At the time Nero didn't serve something I had become addicted to while visiting Australia - a flat white - and the caffè decor had become tired.

Trying to find somewhere for Breakfast to suit all four people in our party was proving hard , until I spotted online that they do porridge . It was agreed it was the best Porridge my friends had had in ages and the Pain au Chocolate were pretty good too. Friendly staff . Would recommend . Clean toilets on ground floor . Good value too Great Coffee

I would class myself as a regular here. The reasons are the coffee and hot chocolates are excellent. The staff are very friendly and enjoy the conversation and chats. The place is clean and tidy and it's a great place.

Tiendo a visitar Neros semanalmente. Esto se debe a la excelente actitud de servicio al cliente amable. Precioso entorno y unas bebidas. Si quieres un fuerte chocolate caliente conseguir un Milano! Magnífico.

Hemos estado en Norfolk durante tres semanas y han luchado para encontrar una buena taza de café incluyendo costa que no ir demasiado en nuestra área local. Buen ambiente y buen café. El personal es muy agradable. Bien hecho neros.

Como una regla que suelen reunirse en Nero si organizando para ponerse al día con la familia o amigos de la ciudad como el café caliente a diferencia de la Costa y el personal es amable y hablador.

King's Lynn seems to be being taken over by coffee shops recently. Caffe Nero used to be one of the better ones but is under a lot of pressure to compete for custom from the multiple Costa's and the newer Starbucks in town (not to mention all of the independants and chain stores internal cafe's!), and it seems to be flagging a bit.There never seems to be enough staff on hand to keep the tables clear and if you tidy up yourself, there isn't anywhere to take the used trays other than balance them precariously on a narrow wall.Coffee is usually pretty good and stronger than other chains, food is OK, although the cakes can be a bit dry and there have been a few instances where the cream has been off.

I used to be addicted to another coffee chain, but increasingly find Caffe Nero to my liking. I've used several of their coffee houses and although the layout and details may differ, the standard certainly doesn't.This outlet is pleasantly furnished and laid out. The service today was prompt and the staff very pleasant. The range of coffees and eats was excellent and met our aspirations exactly. If you've visited a Caffe Nero before, you will know what I mean. If not, I recommend you give them a try out.I would certainly visit Kings Lynn Caffe Nero next time I'm in Kings Lynn.

Standard coffee and food you'd find in any Nero's but the service is great. Very friendly staff who are eager to get you served quickly and ensure your order is correct. We are in and enjoyed ourselves. Nice surroundings.

With Neros there's nit much one can say: they are what they are. SO this one was no worse, no better than usual.

Love this place. It's dogs friendly. The staff are really nice and helpful, even offering us a bowl of water for our dog Nora. I'm vegan so the fact they offer soya milk is fantastic and the vegan mince pies top it all off.

Nice cup of Coffee after a hard day. staff friendly and professional. place was clean and tidy. I think its a little pricy for what it is.

Better than Costa or the other chains......Coffee here is very good, piping hot and a decent variety available. We didnt eat but a variety of snacks available. The coffee shop is busy and deserves to be.

One of the nice coffee shops in Kings Lynn. Owner allows dogs so we can relax inside and have a wonderful coffee. The staff are always polite and helpful. I always pop in when i visit Lynn for shopping.

I regularly get a strawberry milkshake with cream here & every time it's amazing! The staff are very friendly & the atmosphere is great. It's a lovely place to visit. There's free wifi which is a great bonus too. It is quite pricey but you get what you pay for here! The coconut & raspberry slice is delicious also

I am a big fan of Caffe Nero . We had coffee and muffins here (lemon and poppy seed - delicious). The service was excellent and friendly and I love the coffee. A relaxed atmosphere to enjoy your drinks.

I like my coffee served Black and often in this sort of coffee house it can be bitter but I have found that Cafe Nero coffee is one of the better chain coffee blends.Staff are friendly and fairly quick to serve you. I don't tend to have trouble finding a seat to enjoy my drink which is often a common problem in one of its competitors shops who I shall not name. Prices are on par with other chains so can't complain really.

Great staff and always on hand to help. Coffee is always hot not like some of the other chains! My first call when we go up town..Very clean in the loos too which makes for a good impression all round.

Always friendly, always a smile, and doesn't feel like part of a chain, but it is. A bit pricey, but great all around, the staff totally make this place. You always feel like a friend returning, and I love the simplicity of their loyalty card.

Yes it's part of a chain but the staff are always friendly, the coffee is always of a high standard and you can order how many shots. The cakes are good too! We visit most weekends and use our loyalty card.

It's a chain. Better than Starbucks and Costa Lot For Your Coffee, admittedly but it is still a bit overpriced for what it is. The staff are nice but they are under-equipped to meet the demand at busy times but the worst, the very WORST thing about it is that due to a variety of factors it has to be one of the noisiest retail experiences in town. The coffee machines are so close to customers it is almost impossible to have a quiet chat without straining to hear the other person. It's not the fault of the staff, but really this needs to relocate within town to a building that can absorb the noise of business to make a place to relax and have coffee. If you are thinking of going somewhere for a quiet coffee and chat with someone don't go here. Neither go to Starbucks or Costa. Walk round to the Lounge. Its quieter, more relaxing, just as good coffee, less expensive and somewhere where you can talk without having to shout while the steamer is roaring away.

I used to visit regularly; however I've recently stopped visiting as I've got fed up with being short changed in my order. If I order a large cup, i expect it to be full!
