Popped into Caffe Eraldo today for a takeaway order just at closing time expeciting to be met with a 'sorry we're closed' message, but was greated with a smiling gentlement who got everything out of his fridges to make up my order. The food was also again delicious so highlty recommend.

No sirven alcohol.

Having been driving all morning I was desperate for a coffee fix and spotted a parking space as I trundled past in slow traffic. I was rewarded with honestly the best tasting coffee I have had for ages. Strong and flavoursome without a hint of bitterness. My willpower then let me down and I succumbed to a warm panini (bitterly cold out that day) packed with mozarella, chorizo and sun dried tomato. It was piping hot and handed to me in 'old style' tin foil which is just the best way to serve hot food to go. It was only then that I noticed the sign advertising their home made flatbreads. Next time Eraldo, next time :)

Called into the Caffe Eraldo yesterday for a capachino coffee and a panini. There was a lady at the front of the store behind the counter sorting out a display and a lovely young lady served me with the coffee and a panini !! She smiles a lot and looks after the customers !! The coffee was very good and the panini was perfect !! So I was very happy :) !!

Can't speak for the cooked breakfasts/sandwiches but have tried the sausage rolls here and went straight into the bin. Essentially a sausage wrapped in stale pastry that possibly was made a day or two prior. Heating the roll up made it even more inedible.

Had a panini in here passing through Highgate. Colourful cafe and warm hospitality. Will certainly return when passing through again. I understand from the waitress that it is being refurbished soon.

I found this lovely relaxing cafe on the way from the hospital. It's located across the road from Highgate tube station. The service was great and atmosphere chilled with fantastic choice of music. I had cappuccino and poached eggs on toast, a tasty freshly made breakfast. I must especially highlight the service. The waitress was smiley and friendly, making you feel very welcomed.

Not impressed at all. The guy wasn't very friendly. The pastries were old and not tasty at all. The coffee was decent.

Highgate is a very nice part of London, however, Archway is a fossil fuel filled dagger that runs through its heart. It has lots of traffic... slow traffic. It also has Highgate Tube station...so...if a bit peckish you can do worse than cross the road and enter this spotlessly clean emporium. I reckon this is a husband/wife run thing...great cafe...despite endless choice on the menu is basically bespoke. Warm, crunchy meltingly nice panini...FRESH orange juice, can't say the provenance of the coffee, but all good.

I came here for a Sunday roast on the recommendation of one of my friends - but the roast was probably the worst I've had since I was at school! We both had roast lamb which was fatty, tough and rather tasteless. Extremely disappointing and I won't be visiting again. The outside area at the back is quite pleasant.

If you’re after good food, beer and live music, then this is the place. We happened upon this place through our son. Had a great Friday night with an original menu and real ale. Suitable for all family ages.

A rare offering as chippies disappear in the city. This was in North London. Anyway, very comforting but something tasted funny, not sure if it was the sauce of chips but it got masked away when you ate it together.
