Samosa was obviously made fresh and was very nice. The curries were nice too and I would order again from here however they were a little bit oily for my preference. The veg rice was good. I wouldn't recommend ordering the chapati as it looked like a tortilla that had been heated up, next time I will try the Roti instead as I imagine this is what I was expecting when I ordered the chapati.

Poor service. We ordered a meat platter, but it was full of oil...too greasy. On top of that we ordered some samosas and we got only one of them. Not happy with the service. I would like to get the missing samosa.

The lamb chops were nice. However the curries were swimming in oil and there was little flavour. The taste did improve the next day but overall I was quite disappointed :-(

Took a long time to come. Over an hour. The Naan bread was paper thin and burnt and by the time the food all got here it wasn't very warm. Wouldn't order from here again

We didn't receive the naan bread that is supposed to come with a balti, or any salad or additional pots of sauce which normally come with an Indian takeaway.

£5.95 for Prawn starter with basically one prawn chopped up, not impressed with that one bit. Makani was nice, rice was rise! Naan was delish but overall value I probably would not order here again despite the quick delivery (30min).

Set meal for 4 was delicious all my guests enjoyed and plenty to go around would order from here again.

Great Pilau Rice. On average Garlic Naan. Very well done Tikka Madras (Chicken), Chana Masala was also very good and Rogon Josh (Tikka Chicken) was ok.

Delicious food, free chutney and salad thrown in, and no trace of floating oil on anything. Our favourite curry takeaway in London!

Deshi is always our go-to choice for a good, reliable curry. They excelled themselves on New Years Day by delivering a second dish after realising they'd made a really small error with our order. I couldn't fault them for service, and the curry is always delicious!

Good was cold, delivered chicken jakfrezi instead of lamb, prawn cocktail very in fresh and chewy - could not eat

Never brought soft drink i paid for. Called them and they never had decency to do anything about it. Food was average. Chicken karahi was very oily almost half the sauce. 2nd time i have ordered and certainly my last.

Driver arrived with no change and suggested that we had to pay £20 for a £15 meal, and if not we would have to take his son's pocket money! Food was ok but we ordered popadoms and no sauces were provided - disappointing!

excellent meal, however it turned up quarter of an hour early (I booked it for 9pm, when I was arriving home), and they didn't put the lid on the curry properly so it leaked in the bag. damn tasty though.

Have been ordering Indian from different takeaways in the area recently to try and find the best ones, and while the food was hot and arrived on time I probably won't order from Deshi again. The curries have great flavour but there's not enough meat for the price you pay, in addition, the curries are very runny (e.g saag paneer was slop) which is not my preference however that might be fine for others. It's a shame because they have the potential to be a good takeaway however I know for the price I can get better Indian from places in Muswell Hill.

The food arrived 20 minutes later than expected. When I called to find out where it was, the person who answered the phone said that they had dispatched it, but hung up the phone when I tried to ask for more details on when it might arrive. The food tasted nice. Not great, but nice. But the following morning we all had upset stomachs. I won't be using again.

Chicken bhuna was really greasy and didn't have much flavour. The sag paneer was very light on the spinach. The chicken was Overcooked and dry. Won't be ordering again.

Overall everything was fine, however, the chicken tasted very burned and the tortilla was a bit bard and tasted a bit like paper.

Unfortunately I spent the early hours of the morning throwing up with a bad tummy. I will never order from them again.......

Food was delicious and portions plentiful, but was later than the scheduled time.

Very disappointing. We ordered a lamb rogan josh and duck makhani. The sauces were very watery and bland. The lamb was cooked ok, but the duck was chewy and inedible. Rice was fine. There are far better curry places in north London than this.

In my opinion the best Indian takeaway restaurant . Standards or quality. Taste. And excellent discounts keep me coming back.

Been using justeat for a while now having tasted a lot of great food. Deshi kitchen by far the best place I've ordered from and will order again.Food was great coming in great portions. Lots of flavour and cater to all tastes from the hot and spicy mirchwalas dish that my husband loves to the more mild and sweet kormas that i love.

Great service and quality. Korma was very tasty with loads of flavour really recommend. Food was nice and hot with great portion size. Person that took my order was really helpful and friendly and driver was very polite and friendly even though he had to climb allot of stairs to get to me. Really recommended will order again. Best food in all of highgate.

The curry was watery and the korma was bland! I dont know if the deshi has changed owners but the quality of the food has definitely plummeted! Will we go back.....doubtful

The food was delicious! Ordered chicken tikka masala with rice and a bhaji and got a free small salad, poppadoms and sauce. Delivery was slightly longer than I wanted but still came within an hour. The portions were enough for two people so good value. Would definitely order from here again!

Awful service start to finish, it took 3 hours from the time of ordering to arrive, when it did arrive it was freezing cold. We called up after 2 hours to complain, we did not recieve any apology, all we were told was that if we mentioned it in the future we would recieve 10% discount, this however will not be used as we would never order from this place again. Avoid this place like the plauge if you can.

GO HERE IF...... You like your food cold. You like being lied too. You like the manager of Curry Houses ringing your personal phone days after you had the worst service ever. You like waiting 4.5 hours for your food to be delivered! AVOID!

Of all the curry places around this area, this is definitely the best one. The food is really tasty and not oily. Delivery is quick and they sometimes throw in free stuff.

Tried something new that I had never heard of and it didn´t dissapoint. Would have given 6/6 for service if some sundries had been included for free to go with a £13 order though!

Been looking for a good Indian around Holloway Road for a while now and I think I´ve finally found one! I´ve tried others on Just Eat with high ratings which were absolutely awful, so I think this one deserves a good rating. Quick delivery, korma was full of flavour with massive bits of chicken, pilau rice was good too. Very satisfied and will be ordering again

Quite frankly, some of the best Indian food I´ve had in years. Delivery was prompt, and portion sizing was good.
