Caffe Capital in Elmbridge

Whilst it offers other food and drink items, this place is all about it’s great coffee! Mentioning no names but it’s far better than any of the local competition and, in my view, offers much better coffee than all the expensive central London posh coffee places (at a fraction of the cost!). Staff are great offering a local/ friendly vibe and superb service. Support your local independent traders!

My daily coffee to go! Friendliest staff, great service, always a smile and willingness to serve. Love the before 9am deals but am happy to go at anytime too. Claygate’s little gem.

This is a little coffee shop not far from Claygate railway station. There are a few tables inside and outside with a relaxed atmosphere. There was also a good supply of newspapers and local leaflets to read to learn about what is on offer locally.

I have been a weekly visitor to this coffee shop for tens of years - they serve the best coffee around and on sunny days, sitting outside you can watch the world go by. Sadly the staff are recently letting the place down by failing to remove used crockery and wiping the outside tables down - this is sad, especially as a competitor has moved in just across the road !! Management must not let standards slip

Usually on a lazy Saturday afternoon, I like to stop by here for a smoothie or takeaway coffee which goes down a treat! Would recommend to anyone passing through the high street.

A great place to stop and pick up a good cup of coffee. Staff are friendly and they offer a great early morning coffee reduction for the early commuters. Recommend a visit for a decent cup of coffee!

I used to travel to Costs but Caffe Capital has ruined that with their excellent coffee and friendly staff. I haven't found a better coffee any where else. Half price coffee before 9am is an excellent Idea - I'm in there every day now.

We often pop in for a coffee on a Sunday after Mass. Great staff ! lovely coffee and yummy toasties !

Always reliable for a good coffee. If the sun is shining it will be shining on the tables outside at any time of day! Better choice of food would make this even better.

Yes the coffee is excellent and almost ridiculously cheap in the mornings but the rest is very bog standard. Only bought in sandwiches and paninis, no breakfast offering at all. Do cafés not need to do fresh bacon sandwiches or any other fresh food for that matter anymore? Seems to me it is just following the chain cafe formula...

We love this place! Really nice coffee, made to your own personal choice. Also tried the shakes and some teas and they also do a nice cake and sandwich/toastie selection. The staff are also lovely and if you go in there regularly they remember your order, even when it's busy.

Well done guys for providing Claygate with a cosy venue for locals to enjoy a good cup of coffee. If only the decibel level of the school mums in the morning could be lowered ......

I visit most weekday mornings for my caffeine hit. The staff are really friendly, they also remember what you prefer after only one or two visits. Before 9am this cafe only charges £1 for the drinks. You won't find better coffee at a better price within 50miles. It is an absolute gem. Worth visiting anytime.

This is an excellent cafe in a charming street - the owners really know their beans! and the ambience is friendly - great staff, nothing too much trouble. How refreshing to have a cup of coffee from an independent that keep local high streets 'local' without compromising on quality and value!

I go here most mornings for the £1 coffee on the way to work and pretty much every weekend. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the coffee rich, dark and strong.

Great coffee (no milky Starbucks dishwater here!) & delicious portuguese custard tarts. Open at 6.30 & do coffee for £1 before 9am. The word is obviously spreading about the place as much bigger queues in the morning now.

This has changed hands frequently over the years and they have now got it perfect. The BEST coffee around, lovely sarnies,cakes, paninis and milk shakes to die for! John and his team work very hard and have created a lovely place to eat drink and people watch in a relaxing atmosphere and if you feel like it plenty of reading material!

Been to Caffe Capital many times and love their coffee and would have to say it's one of the best coffee's I've every had. Also do lovely cakes and ice creams.
