O dear o dear what a cafe to dine for dinner. Completely the wring choice. Ordered the fish chips and peas and for the high price it wasn't up to standard. Cold plate to start off, frozen chips not cooked in the middle and soggy batter on the frozen undercooked fish So disappointed as it was nearly empty so time was on there side to get it right The staff were nice front of house but sadly definitely won't be recommending this cafe and will never return.

Esta cafetería situada en House of Fraser es un restaurante limpio, cómodo y conveniente para el almuerzo, un bocadillo o simplemente una bebida al hacer compras. El personal comió amable y servicial. Los baños están cerca.

Food quite acceptable - not a bad selection on the menu but the coffee leaves much to be desired. Also, one cannot get a toasted teacake or toasted crumpet after 11.30 a.m. How ridiculous is that? My husband likes to finish off his meal with one or the other.

Buena comida, aunque un poco limitado que ofrece con personal agradable, pero un poco de calor en los días calurosos. Ser genial en invierno. Vale la pena una visita

Cafe Zest has been rebranded as Wild Mint. It looks stunning but that’s all. We had a voucher for a free glass of prosecco but we received half a flute of flat prosecco. Our breakfast, which was the full English, was so small that it all fit onto the slice of toast it was presented on. It’s not cheap either. Perhaps the prices are to pay for the rebranding. One good point is that the sausages were delicious but the bacon was over cooked. Save your money and go to San Carlo on the ground floor.

Recently refurbished very nicely done. Had coffee and went back later for lunch. What a disappointment the salad leaves were brown and stale the tortilla sold as a quiche was horrible and the coleslaw was definitely bought in. No one to complain to!

My husband and I had a coffee in Cafe Zest withing the House of Fraser in the Meadowhall on Friday 2nd June my husband had a piece of cake to which he said was very, very dry, this was only about 2-30 therefore shouldn't have been dry at that time of day. I am in a wheelchair an had to visit the disabled toilet, I found it very small an difficult to move around the whole layout of the toilet was badly planned, if at all, the sink and driers on different walls, the nappy bin is in the wrong place.

I visited this place on Friday 12th 2017, I had a regular sized Pepsi Max as I was only stopping there for a quick drink on route to a atos appointment. I would recomend this cafe to anyone who wants a drink or is stopping for a reasonably priced meal. Thanks to the staff/employees for making my experience so enjoyable.

My friend recommended this café to me so I visited with my husband. The café has very comfortable tub chairs and is decorated in coffee colours which makes it seem quite dull, with a name like Zest it would be nice to have a splash of lemon or lime décor to brighten it up a bit. The coffee was excellent, I take mine black and it was nice and strong. My husband also had a scone which he said was very good. We shall certainly visit again when we are next in Manchester.

Just been at house of fraser for shopping and decided to have a break with my wife and 2 year old. My daughter filled a bag with their 5 items pick and mix and while eating her fruit I spotted that there are mould on them. Where is health and safety to shut down this place. Selling out of date food for kids.

Coffee slopped in a cup.... well mainly in the cup, but also dribbled down the sides and in the saucer. I left the filthy tray behind. Uncleared tables and pretty grimy all over. Even McDonalds can do better!

Not the busiest place in the world. Chocolate cake hard. Been open for too long. Mess made of expresso cup and no apology. Wrongly charged as well. Avoid. .....

This is a small cafe in House of Fraser where you can get the usual range of food like sandwiches/breakfast/cakes & drinks. We had tea with a friut scone & butter which was very nice & filling, the scones were huge!

It's a cafe in a department store, nothing more, nothing less. It's not a venue to dine. The food is OK.

Came here with my family for a spot of lunch. Very clean and quick service, however the high prices, small portions and very average jacket potato put this middle of the road for me.

I like this venue, with attentive staff. Usually I have a cofffee, currently well made - the quality of the coffee depends on the staff. Occasionally I have a light lunch, and here the food is deficient, in fact I have now abandoned it finding...

I ordered a sausage and bacon sandwich, was appalled to find out this only consists of a singular sausage and a single piece of bacon, on a considerably large bap. i was basically eating a butter sandwich. they then had the audacity to charge £3.20 for this

So poor, overpriced. Really rude staff, young brunette was rude to us. £15 for a chicken sandwich too that was incredibly greasy. Avoid.

Food was nice but the cafe was untidy and tables were dirty not wiped and trays with rubbish not cleared away. Maybe better to visit when not so busy
