Friendly staff. Prices are reasonable. Food is ok. Decent enough value for the area. The lunchtime sandwiches look interesting so will try one at some stage.

Convenient location to stop for breakfast and tea before work meeting. Good food, generous portions at affordable prices, and quick, friendly service. Would recommend. The place was clean, and the staff was welcoming and attentive. Thank you

Just returned from a trip to london and found this lovely cafe straight across from travelodge covent gardens. Staff are so friendly and food was fantastic. Highly recommend.

This is a great little cafe just across the road from the Travelodge. We visited here 5 years ago when we stayed at the hotel and returned this year. The breakfasts were still as good and half the price of the Travelodge. Highly recommended!

Was staying in the Travelodge over the road and noticed this little cafe. I had a bacon and egg sandwich which was huge and my son had the full English lovely tasty food from very friendly staff. You see all locals coming in to get things not surprising it looks like quite a hub. Will definitely visit again when I next visit London.

This cafe does more than just breakfasts, but that was our reason for our visit the other day. We both had a full English, fresh orange juice and a coffee. I don’t eat eggs and was offered options for additional items to replace the eggs. This breakfast was hot, tasty and great portion size. It was most definitely needed after a late night. Service was great and quick. Would definitely recommend, and will DEFINITELY be back on other London visits! Apologies for no pictures, the food didn’t last long enough to take pics 😁

Great place. We stayed at the Travelodge opposite and had read the reviews of Cafe Verona before our stay. We went there for breakfast on the 3 mornings of our stay. Family run and the staff were so welcoming. By the second morning we felt like old friends. We had full English breakfast each morning and it was on our table within less than 10 minutes of ordering. All freshly cooked and lovely food. A lot of locals and tradesmen came in while we were there, either eating in or taking away, and were obviously regulars, which is an indication of a good cafe. The baguettes, paninis and other food in the display cabinets looked amazing and we were sorry we were out each day and were unable to sample these too. Thoroughly recommend here for the food and the lovely staff.

Twice now had a wonderful breakfast here, huge portion very reasonably priced. All food freshly cooked, very friendly team. Just perfect!

I wished we had found this restaurant earlier in our 4 nt stay. Just happened to walk by & the good looking food caught our eye (few tables outside) & a friendly local saw us pause & told us that it was great food & he came here every day. So, we went inside & at lunch time they had a menu to order paninis, ETC, but ALSO a hot food buffet/cafeteria style, so you can see the options & decide which one you want. They will heat it up & bring it to your table in less than 5min. Very filling, great size portion, tasty & ~6£ per plate!! Best value in all of London/family run!

First time here and was met by friendly staff, loads of food choices ,we had two panini's which were amazing ,would definitely recommend cafe Verona and we will be back when next visiting London

Superb little gem of a cafe. You are greeted with the warmest of welcomes as soon as you step through the door, in fact I will go as far to say that they make you feel like one of the family. The food is fab and the portion sizes are generous. The inside decor is plain and simple but comfortable. As for the prices, I reckon it's the best value in London. If you're ever in the vicinity of Drury Lane it is a must for breakfast and lunch

Travelodge Hotel across the road had its cafe closed so we came here after seeing local tradesmen using it. Always a good sign. Excellent full english and coffee. Definitely come here again . Nice staff as well. Great price too.

A great family owned cafe. Service was excellent and breakfast delicious. Sells also great looking paninis and jacket potatoes with a load of variety fillings plus other specials. This is a great find hidden away between Covent Garden and Holborn

Breakfast was very good and freshly made. Service was excellent and all at a reasonable price. We had a table for five and were in and out in under 45 minutes.

Very reasonably priced meals - probably the cheapest we had in London for the amount of good provided. We ate breakfast here, with coffee and fresh OJ. It tasted homemade and created with love. The staff here are incredibly welcoming - we felt a sense of belonging immediately! This must be a favorite local spot as many customer came in and the staff called by name. The sort of Italian run cafe we used to frequent when we lived in London so a delight to find this one opposite our Travelodge when coming to the big city for a holiday. The guy in charge may appear, at first, to be a touch brusque but that’s the style… don’t take him, or yourself, too seriously and you’ll get along fine. Enormous selection of breakfast and lunch items at very reasonable prices. I had the Full English (at £8.20 including tea/coffee), partner had poached eggs and avocado on toast. Both nicely cooked and presented, decent quality (proper meaty sausage) and really good Italian coffee. Lively and friendly place, decent and fairly priced food;frequented by locals, builders, tourists… everyone… well worth a visit! We went 2 days running.

Saw the sign with low prices for a full breakfast and a plethora of different foods. Staff were lovely and the food was brilliant. Great value for money and amazing quality food. The orange juice had froth!!!!!!!

Three day stay in Covent Garden. Went for breakfast there every day. Staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, great breakfast and Cappuccino and really good value for money. Definitely will go back when in London again 👍

On my walk from our hotel in the city to the museum, I stumbled upon this café and early in the morning and had the best egg, ham and cheese sandwich and chicken soup on a cold morning! Wonderful!!

Went for lunch with 2 friends and we all had great meals - paninis and veggie lasagne! The staff were so friendly and the atmosphere was great. An unassuming exterior but a wonderful place inside. So many options and all for great prices, especially considering the great location.

Incluso hacen zumo de naranja recién exprimido y con hielo tan frío también. Delicioso y muy refrescante. Estaba ocupado con algunos trabajadores, así que sabes que la comida será buena. Stayed at the Travelodge across the road. Saw the board advertising breakfast for £5.95 at Cafe Verona so decided to give it a try instead of buying food at hotel. We were not disappointed. We found this little gem after researching at length on TripAdvisor, and went there for a very good value breakfast. There were a lot of locals who popped in for coffee or breakfast while we were sitting there.The food was inexpensive, tasty and filling. it was probably the best value breakfast that we found while in London, and the staff were welcoming and friendly.

We ended up in this cafe because the one we were looking for was closed, but we felt totally like we won the lottery! Food is really delicious and the place is very cosy. The waitresses were really lovely, and even though they needed to closed they wait until we finished our lunch.

We were staying across the road at the Travelodge again for our veterans to march at the Remembrance Ceremony at the Cenotaph. Never a fan of Travelodge breakfasts we found Cafe Verona last year and had no reason to go anywhere else this year! Two days and two very good, freshly cooked, breakfasts, great coffee and friendly welcoming staff. Cafe Verona is a small gem and we look forward to returning.

Breakfast here twice on a trip cheaper than hotel but quite cramped, Coffee good breakfast just okay, they don't give you a breakdown of the bill and was told two different prices so beware. Young girl who works there attentive and really helpful.

Had breakfast everyday at this little cafe when we stayed at the Travelodge Covent garden. It is just opposite the hotel. Very reasonably priced and lovely food. We had something different every morning and it set us up for the day. My favourite was the poached eggs and avocado on toast but all the food was good and the full breakfasts were huge much better than the travelodge breakfasts and all freshly cooked and hot. The cappuccino was the best coffee I had anywhere in London! Service couldn't be faulted. I highly recommend Cafe Verona. Will definitely visit next time we are in London.

Cafe Verona is situated right across the road to the Covent Garden Travelodge and offers an excellent breakfast deal at a fraction of the price of the Travelodge. Lisa enjoyed 2 poached eggs and a generous portion of mushrooms on 2 rounds of toast. I had 2 fried eggs and a generous portion of bacon, also on 2 rounds of toast. The total bill came to £11.80 and included 2 large fresh coffees. The service was friendly and efficient. Cafe Verona is a real "value for Money" restaurant situated in an expensive district of the West End, I have no hesitation in recommending it to fellow travellers

We came here after looking around a few of the other breakfast places. We had 2 takeaway baguettes, one sausage, egg and bacon and the other just egg and bacon. Was reasonably priced and tasted good.

Iwanted to eat during the whole trip a classical english breakfast. And me and my boyfriend went to the British museum and I chose a cafe but it was full, and in that neighborhood finally I found that place!

Was absolutely starving and thought the place looked nice. Ordered a chicken curry which was ice cold in the middle, told the staff who took it away and blasted it in the microwave. No fresh plate, just the same food moved around my plate which had then been blasted so much it was hard. Very disappointed. Plus side was a nice latte.

If you are visiting the west end of London Cafe Verona is a good place to go. The food looks home cooked and there's table service or great food from the counter. The staff are friendly and helpful too.
