Cafe Tana in Lambeth

Best flat white in London 😊 and I've tried loads! Better than the high street chains. Staff are lovely and welcoming, we go at least once a week are made to feel at home. My son loves their vanilla milkshake too and my daughter said the chicken escalope was delicious 🥰Thanks Cafe Tana

Spent a week in Brixton and thankfully, on our first morning, we found Cafe Tana - and met Lada Tana! She was so welcoming and funny, and we stopped by several mornings for espresso's, coffees and tea...and of course some treats. The greatest treat though was visiting with Lady Tana - meeting her is worth a stop in to say hello...a wonderful addition to our London Adventures 2023!

Great tasting coffee and the Canolli are out of this world! The full English is delicious and served exactly how I like it. The wonderful ladies who run Cafe Tana are just so lovely. They always greet customers with a very warm welcome.

This is one of the worse cafes we have been to food was terrible. The egg was like a bullet so overcooked bacon over cooked very slim rashers like a turkey rasher sausages I would only give -5 for poor quality fatty & toast was like bread the only good thing was the coffee the scammed eggs on avocado toast were poor quality microwaved toast again like bread I asked for ketchup was so hungry due to a 30 minute wait I didn’t check was a chilli hot ketchup. We left nearly all of it DO NOT waste your money £23 down the drain poor quality small portions a rip off

Lovely cafe, with just as lovely staff. Very relaxing and welcoming as well with affordable prices. Always an easy recommendation for anyone who’s looking for a tasty breakfast or lunch!

Good coffee. Good food. All made fresh. Quite possibly the best black forest gateaux going. Friendly but efficient service.

I’ve been going to Cafe Tana for over 4 yrs. The service is always with a smile, cafe is always nice an clean. Very customer focused. Staff are amazing. The meals what can i say, they are always superb. I have had a variety of meals, and they never disappoint. I would recommend scrambled egg breakfast, chicken salad, spaghetti bolognaise, BLT, energiser juice, to be honest nothing I wouldn’t recommend as it all Halal and delicious 🙂

I was in London for a business meeting and stopped for a chocolate drink at this cafe. i ordered and sat down on a long bench(seat) inside the cafe. I felt a slight scratch on my legs but thought nothing of it until about 5 minutes later the scratch had turned into full blown allergy reaction to what turned out to be bug bites. I telephoned the cafe to discuss this and really to alert them so that they can fumigate the cafe to stop someone else being bitten. I left messages on their voicemail 2x but no one bothered to call me back. Very disappointed. I am also sure that other people have/will be bitten in this cafe.

Fantastic food, very tasty and the breakfasts come on large platter style plates. At £8 for a big full English its great value for money. They also do lovely veggie options with halloumi and spinach. Excellent friendly service too.

Lovely staff and even better food ... love the halloumi wrap and smoothies - And Hatice and all the staff are always very welcoming and makes you feel very welcomed.

This cafe has improved with outdoor seating and more variety of food. The food quality has also improved and it is a friendly and welcoming place

Delicious food of all kind, and an incredibly welcoming Chef that Is both kind and attentive. All the people there know each other and all respect each other. Me and my friend were both in awe of just how naturally we fit in and how comfortable the environment was. Definitely a recommendation from me if you just so happen to be in or around Brixton!😄👍

This cafe was perfectly placed to while away some time before I could check into my accommodation. I'm always keen to find a good Full English in London and this one ticked all the boxes. Friendly staff, a warm ambience, a plate full of food and the ability to linger over it...heaven!

Love this local cafe! The breakfast is amazing (whatever they do to their scrambled eggs is incredible). The staff are lovely, especially the (I presume) owner/manager lady. Always puts a smile on your face!

Best good quality food , moderate prices and the staff lovely !!! If you’re in Brixton I’m strongly advise you to pop in and have at least a coffee and few bites !!!

I come to cafe Tana every other day for my coffee fix. I choose cafe Tana as I believe they serve the best tasting coffee around with the best service around also!

Cafe Tana is hands down my favourite spot in Brixton for coffee, breakfast or lunch at the weekend! The freshly squeezed juices are amazing! Hatice is always there to greet you with a big smile and cheerful wave hello!!

Me dejé solo por un café mientras trabajaban en mi auto a la vuelta de la esquina y estoy muy feliz de haberlo hecho. Aunque no comí nada porque el tiempo no lo permitía, me sirvieron el mejor Americano que he tenido en este lado de Londres. El ambiente es maravilloso al igual que el aroma de los ingredientes frescos que se cocinan en la parte posterior. Hatice, creo que este es el nombre del propietario, fue muy hospitalario considerando que solo me quedé dos tazas de café. Sin duda volveré pronto para probar algo en el menú!

This cafe is the best in Brixton, hands down! The food is incredible and affordable (would recommend the chicken breast wrap), coffee tastes great, and the staff are always sociable and greet you with a smile on their faces. Would never go anywhere else for my lunch now I have discovered this gem.

The best coffee shop in town. Homemade food and friendly. To enjoy with friends, book or the staff. Lovely.

Lovely place for breakfast or lunch, we live very close to it and we go quite often for a coffee, breakfast or lunch! My son loves the homemade lasagna! Very attentive staff!

I love this place; the food is delicious and beautifully prepared by lovely, friendly people. Thoroughly recommend it if you’re ever passing through ! The photo is the Halloumi Salad which was amazing !

Fuimos allí en un día soleado y tuvimos la suerte de encontrar una mesa en el exterior.

Siamo passati al volo per un caffè perchè eravamo di passaggio in zona con la mia famiglia ed era tutto ottimo: caffè e servizio gentile e cordiale.

Una semana en Brixton, me encontré volviendo al Café Tana una y otra vez. Uno de los copropietarios, Hatice tiene como objetivo hacer que todos se sientan como en casa. Puedes decir que pone amor en todo lo que cocina. Buena comida, excelente servicio. ¡Ya lo perdiste!

Popped in for a quick coffee while wilting for my friends to arrive before going to have a sit down full celebration lunch elsewhere. Good service friendly people coffee was fine great for a quick bite so u will pop by again

Perdí mi bolso última semana - y no estaba seguro donde y cuando me el bolso y apartada. Yo no creo que pueda ponerse en contacto con el café, pero fuimos a grandes esfuerzos en contacto conmigo a través de un amigo (cuyo número era en el bolso) y organizar su regreso. Realmente por encima y más allá de nuestras expectativas en contacto conmigo y regreso mi bolso, que contenía una cantidad de dinero en efectivo. Estoy muy impresionado por su amabilidad y los esfuerzos que realizaron. Gracias Café Tana!! Su café es excelente también por cierto. ; )

Este lugar ha cambiado un poco desde su primera aparición, ya que aquí los taburetes africanos que adorna la parte delantera de la zona de comedor se han desaparecido, aunque el mapa del mundo en la pared aún está allí y el café sigue siendo excelente. La decoración es de madera defecar y es bastante sofisticada, y por lo tanto en contraste grave para todos los sitios a los que están en las inmediaciones. Si lo que quieres es un guiso, pop en la carretera - no te lo puedes perder, ya que tiene fotos de comida que te Point. Este lugar es mucho más paninis y capuchinos, y diseño lemonades y similares, y la clientela son por lo tanto diferente. También está en el medio de la regeneración de Streatham y la zona, por lo que las casas están siendo blancas y hay otras formas de aburguesada justo fuera como una tienda de antigüedades, de todas las cosas! También está bien situado cerca de la Tree-y zona que se extiende al sur de St Matthews jardines de la iglesia. Este es un buen lugar para sentarse y ver el mundo pasar. El tío que dirige es amable y servicial, y la zona de estar exterior ... así es bastante bueno, aunque el metal las mesas están un poco raquítica, y cómo sobre algunos maceta plantas? Recomendado.

Good free wifi access, ok coffee but food menu appears limited...ok to while away an hour or two. Convenient to several small grocery shops. Not the best but certainly not the worst in this part of Brixton. Will go again
