Cafe St Helens Extra in St. Helens

Called in for a coffee while shopping,slow service with staff stood around talking,tables full of dirty dishes. Would not recommend.

We used to eat after our weekly shop , but things have gone from bad to worse , food dried up , service poor , no seems to know what they are doing , a strong Team leader is sadly lacking. Staff turnover is huge , that speaks volumes in itself. Used to enjoy a bacon on toast not anymore . Get your act together Tesco .

Called in a number of times now for the breakfast as a rule the staff are friendly and the food good .The 8 item breakfast is great when served correctly and the fat cut off the bacon.

Every time I call in for bits on my way home from work I leave dissapointed. I wanted four basic items yesterday but the shelves were bare.It's how I imagine shopping is like in North Korea - a shop stocked with nothing you need and staff who obviously wish they were somewhere else. The place always looks like it needs a good clean

It’s not that I don’t ever go in supermarket cafes but I don’t make a habit of it. Ordered standard fare to avoid disappointment- what could go wrong with sausage roll chips and beans? Well quite a lot as it happens. First issue was service. I placed my order to be curtly informed that they have to put extra beans on. Surely not too time consuming or challenging? You’d think so. 30 minutes later they arrived. I had been back to the counter twice. Chips hot but undercooked. Sausage roll mostly roll. But the beans were good. But also tables uncleared and - well, I blame myself!

Went for lunch with the family and the food was disgusting, drinks were poor and the staff are rude and loud when slagging off the paying customers that are still seated in the restaurant, and to top it off the short dark haired loud woman (think someone called her jeanette) cleaning the tables decided to stand at the side of our table picking her nose whilst we were trying to eat. Disgusted and would not recommend this place.

This cafe is absolutely disgusting , start with my breakfast was burnt and over cooked ,they have a sign at front of cafe with great coffee it was far from great it was burnt coffee Beans, the knife and fork was dirty and when I asked if it could be washed the manager , dee her name was was rude said they was clean had no manners at all as not apologetic in no such way stay away from here rude manager , crap food over cooked ,dirty cutlery , burnt coffee I could go on for hours with this place DISGUSTING !!!!!

El personal en general son secos y desinteresado. La falla para captar el concepto de servicios al cliente. La comida (si está disponible) es normal en el mejor y se sirven calientes o frías de piedra radiactivos. Cubertería y vajilla son una lotería - nunca se puede encontrar cuchillos y tenedores sin preguntar y luego recibirá una respuesta maleducado. Las mesas permanecen sin recoger y no están limpios.En general, es una vergüenza, y se aconseja que simplemente pasar hambre. Una completa pérdida de dinero.

Bloody dreadful, miserable n slower than slow staff, overcharged and no apology for their mistake, pathetic, I know it's a bank holiday but come on, I've just finished work and wanted a bite to eat but never again!!! They need to give their heads a wobble and get their s*** together ffs!!!

24 hour shopping in a huge Tesco Extra superstore. Aircraft hanger size with plenty of car parking. Cheap Fuel.

not good at all stay away from this shop manager rude and some staff don't go they have got too big for there boots

Service slower than slow, food poor quality and not very warm, coffee bland and burnt, cutlery never available and when u ask for any it's dirty and wet.

Called in for breakfast whilst shopping in the store, it was the usual choose from a wide range of choices. It was hot and tasty and the service was good and quick. Good value as the items are reasonably priced.
