Like all Grinds, it is modern. Great for cocktails, but equally the food is great! Good for groups as well as smaller parties.

I think it gets really noisy when busy and it is hard to get the attention from staff if you want to order something. Otherwise I really like this place.

I have to say I was left disappointed with Grind overall. I personally had a lovely meal (squid, followed by cauliflower and the carrot side) and also a nice espresso martini. I do feel, though, that the mains were fairly expensive despite not having sides included. One of the starters came out cold and we had to wait for another. I chose this restaurant because of the many gluten free options available and one of my friends is severely allergic. There was only 1 GF starter which was ordered and she confirmed that she is allergic to gluten to the waitress. A short time later, my friend was told that actually the starter is not actually GF as part of it is cooked in oil where gluten products are prepared. This was disappointing and instead of being offered a compromise (which I'm sure could have been arranged), my friend sat there and had to watch the rest of us eat our starters with nothing to eat. My friend said that this is becoming a problem as she has been coming across restaurants labelling foods as GF for people who are after the GF lifestyle but when it comes to those who are intolerant, it means they cannot eat anything for fear of a severe reaction. Despite being early in the evening, the toilets were also really messy with toilet paper all over the floor. The positive that came out of this evening was the service. The staff were so friendly and lovely. Also the hot apple crumble, that was delicious!

Excellent place for a bite to eat and catch up with friends. Coffee and brunch was delicious and no complaints!

Exmouth market Grind used to be one of my favourite restaurant in London, they had the best staffs and food. However my visit this time disappointed me. They had a completely new set of staffs, who are less welcoming and have little knowledge of the restaurant. They also changed the way they make certain food(hash brown, orange juice (not fresh anymore), beans etc), which taste a lot worse than before. After booking a table in advance we have been put to a table that is at the back corner where the staffs laptops and personal belongings are, it definitely deteriorated my experience eating with them.

Fab service, atmosphere and value! This is a repeat visit on the bottomless brunch... which is brilliant... but both times the food has just been ‘OK’. The Prosecco makes up for it!

Beautiful aesthetic and great cocktails to match! Design of the restaurant has been done perfectly to compliment the vibe and the food. Love the central bar would go back for an afternoon coffee!

Cold poached eggs, cold bacon. Bland brunch. Below average, weak coffee. Overpriced and very disappointing overall.

Brunch arrived completely cold. To be fair they took it off the bill for me but the replacement plate took so long to arrive, my friends had all already finished. Wasn’t worth the wait either as the food was very average. Won’t be returning.

Just terrible. Had to ask several times to order a drink after arriving- then again another few times to acatully get the drink over a half an hour period. Food was good quality but the service and lack of staff / lack of attentiveness let the place down massively. We had questions about the menu that we asked two different servers but they couldn’t answer them / didn’t bother to follow up with the kitchen so we just gave up and ordered food we hoped we’d be safe with. The overall noise level was outrageous too- it sounded like everyone in the place was screaming at each other (perhaps the enthusiasm of the bottomless brunch) but having dined in several Grind locations this was a completely different experience and not an enjoyable one. We should have removed the tip and explained how bad it was but it took so long to get the bill at the end that we knew it’d slow down our day even more. So disappointed- a special occasion for our table of 4 was ruined.

Good value for money and friendly staff, but the food was slow to come although the restaurant was half empty.

Great if you like instagram. not so much if you like eating good food... Not sure why anyone would eat here to be honest...

Food was good and ambience was nice - pancakes were a bit stodgy for £9 though, the main thing I was really annoyed by was we asked for the bill 4 times in 20 minutes and it took ages to leave!

There was no chef for Saturday breakfast. They didn't check us in as having arrived on OpenTable so I had to send a followup email.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time at Grind. We went for the bottomless brunch which is great value and we were topped up as soon as our glasses were empty.. sometimes even before. The service was great and everybody working there was very friendly and accommodating. Would absolutely return and recommend to anyone looking for a relaxed and fun date.

Despite having positive experiences previously, this last one was particularly poor. There were kitchen issues but our waitress never apologised after we waited an inordinately long time for our food, then learnt there was an error and all our orders weren't put through. There were also errors on the bill; seems to have been uncharacteristically bad day.

Had a great breakfast with an industry pal. Lovely attentive service and good coffee.

Had poached eggs and avo on toast which was fine, although the eggs were over done & only one piece of toast. Coffee was good, ordered some of the juices which were served in a disappointing plastic bottle, no straw or ice was expecting freshly blended/squeezed for just shy of a fiver. Bathrooms weren’t very clean and decor was very shabby.

I had a fantastic business meeting here. The staff were friendly and attentive which was brilliant!

Saturday bottomless brunch - great food, good ambience and location, bottomless proseco hit the nail. loved and 100% recommend. <br /><br />Food wise, I wasn’t wowed, but, overall, good tasting and value for money.<br /><br />The apple pie Sunday dessert though - superb!

I&#039;ve been to Exmouth Grind many times now and always have fabulous food, tasty and healthy and great for veggies. The portions are perfect, dishes creative. And the service super friendly. It can be a little slow to get drinks, but it&#039;s worth it.

Met friends for brunch at 1pm on a Saturday.<br />Food was excellent, as was the service. Their team were all very pleasant and attentive.<br />Both the food and drinks menus offered a wide range of options.<br />Highly recommended. Will return!

SLOW! I know Sundays are meant to be relaxed, but service at Grind takes that to a whole new level. Very friendly, but when it takes ages even to get a coffee (and that was before there are many customers), something is wrong. Food was good (not very challenging breakfast food), sitting outside was nice, but don&#039;t go if you like efficient service.

Had a lovely brunch catching up with friends and the food was lovely but had to keep asking the waitress for service, wasn&#039;t even busy! But like I said th food was great

Fantastic bottomless brunch - highly recommend!

We had a group of 7 and everything was great! We got coffee while waiting for everyone to arrive and the service was prompt and very good. All our food came out quickly too, and at the same time, so everyone could eat together. Will definitely go back!

Really nice atmosphere, great staff, we had a good time. My food wasn&#039;t that amazing, but everyone else seemed to have a lovely time so not sure if I just had a dud dish. But overall a really fun experience with friends.

It started off poorly, our starters were not put through to the kitchen and so our main meals arrived with an apology, when we were expecting our starters.<br />Then we discovered the chicken was undercooked in one order - this was rectified.<br />The drinks and desserts were good and I do feel the staff were genuine in their remorse about how badly things had gone for us - it seems they were having staffing issues that evening.<br />Generously, they zero&#039;d the bill for us - that was a delightful surprise. We left a tenner each as we all suffer from middle-class guilt. So amazingly, even though things ran far from smoothly, yes I would give them another try - it was a nice enough venue that&#039;s for sure, and the menu is simple but appealing.

Had to send back a few dishes as the food was not hot. The restaurant itself was very chilly and a few of us had to keep our coats on.

This place has a great vibe to it. It&#039;s perfect for a date, or just to meet up with friends. The music, lighting and excellent service creates a great atmosphere. I will, for sure, come back.

Went for breakfast and loved the food and the atmosphere! The service was excellent and there was a range of people from families with kids to old people to college students. Only wish we could have been there later for brunch!

The service was gets and attentive. It was my first time here and I had more expectations. We asked two stakes that were alright, soft but not greta taste and my vegan friend asked a cauliflower dish that happened to be half cauliflower with the leaves and all served on a plate, quite difficult to eat and disappointing. Cocktails were really average quality. The space was SO cold we had to wear our coats while eating. I guess this is perhaps a good breakfast place, not a great dinner or cocktail night out.

Such an amazing venue - so cute, homely and welcoming. My friend and I went for the bottomless brunch option, and found the staff so attentive and efficient. We each ordered a different dish and found that the quality and quantity of food was spot on for both of our dishes. We ended up paying £25 each - this was inclusive of 1.5 hours of prosecco, 1 main dish and a service charge. Great value and I will definitely be returning in the future. Thanks guys!

We&#039;ve visited the restaurant before and previously it has been very enjoyable. Sadly this time the service was extremely slow and often orders were slightly incorrect, which is frustrating when so many members of staff were just standing around. The burgers were tasty but the flat iron steak was burnt and lacking flavour. Not sure I&#039;ll revisit after that trip.

Had a great time at grind . The service was fantastic and the food delicious. No hangover the next day either thanks to their premium booze! Perfect win.

Really lovely meal, great atmosphere &amp; decor &amp; attentive staff. The only down side is that I am gluten free and that meant I was left with only a few options on the menu as they don&#039;t have gluten free bread which is quite an unusual thing nowadays. The gf option I went for however ended up being delicious so it wouldn&#039;t deter me from going again, it just might be something to consider.

Lovely inside, great music, drinks and food. We wanted a little change to our cocktail and the bar staff were more than happy to be flexible - really great service.<br /><br />Only thing that was a shame is for a Saturday night at 21.30 it was a little empty. Still had a lovely evening though

The overall vibe at Exmouth Market Grind made my birthday brunch a really enjoyable experience. I love the chilled atmosphere and the waitress was lovely and engaging. The good was delicious however, I do feel it is slightly overpriced for the portion sizes.

Exmouth Market Grind was a trendy spot, a great place to just hang out for a brunch with friends (go for the &#039;gram). While most people around us were drink healthy juices, it feels amiss to go to skip out on the bottomless prosecco or bloody mary. The food is good but not exceptional. Between us, we tried the one-pan eggs, the English breakfast and the sweet potato harissa cake; the last one was probably the best of the three. Service was decent and fast-- they did mix up up orders between the tables 3 times throughout our brunch though.

Pre booked for a pre show catch up and meal. Online it stated that there are two menus. We wanted lunch but apparently it was breakfast only all day. We had a drink and left to find somewhere else.

Loved my lunch, it had been recommended to me by a couple of friends, I wasn&#039;t disappointed, great Buzzy atmosphere, very cool, clean, trendy and bright decor. <br />Food and drinks menu was great with a great selection and really creative sides dishes, which tasted as good as they sounded. Everything was tasty and very fresh, staff smiley and attentive, made some nice reccomendations and the place had a great friendly vibe. <br />Will definitely get there again very soon. Looking forward to trying out the other Grinds!

Sat by door on Saturday - freezing cold !!! Not enjoyable being that cold whilst eating - people in and out the whole time with curtains open - my friends and I wearing scarves and coats....not really ok !! Everything else good.

We had a great brunch here! It was a bit of a pity that it wasn&#039;t advertised that the bottomless prosecco is only served from 12h00. Though, in the end it was probably better! Food was delicious, staff very friendly and the place had great ambience.

Perfect spot for a get together with friends or even a date. Service is friendly and chatty, food is good quality and the setting on exmouth market is central but not over-busy. Generally I’d advise booking first!

Had the most amazing day here for my boyfriends birthday. The staff were really friendly and Ollie the waiter looked after us particularly well - we loved the bottomless prosecco! We were literally planning the next time we could return whilst we were there. Our new local brunch spot for sure

Lovely place for a date or friends get together. The staff were really friendly and kind, they contributed to the party mood in the place. <br />One thing is that I would have liked the cocktails to have a bit more alcohol in them, both of the ones i tried were not as they should be served. <br />I’ll definitely go back there, the vibe was great and the food didn’t let us down.

The food was so bad my friend sent it back and we left. Cocktails were good and place is nice though but unfortunately we were there for dinner.

Very disappointing. I was served flat iron chicken - which in itself was ok except that it came swimming in gravy which I hate . The gravy was not mentioned on the menu so I was surprised when it arrived. My husband and stepdaughter were served two of the thinnest, most unappetising looking(and tasting apparently) burgers which when they arrived had all the wrong items in them! Then when we asked for ketchup to go with the chips we were told they did not have any. They did eventually find some but it was very begrudging. The waiters looked bored. For a Saturday evening it was surprisingly empty - now I know why. We will not be returning.

Went for bottomless brunch. Waitress was lovely and kept our prosecco well topped up so it was good value. The banana bread French toast was very average - far too soggy. This is a nice spot on a sunny day and coffee is always good but food just wasn&#039;t amazing

I was so excited about visiting this restaurant, however I&#039;m sad to say I was so disappointed. The first negative was that the restaurant was so loud I could barely hear my own voice, it was a wet afternoon and the whole front was open making it extremely cold. The biggest disappointment was the size of my portion. I have seen loads of amazing pictures on their Instagram feed and to say my portion was small was an under statement. It was actually served on a side plate!! I feel it was very expensive for the quality and size of the portions. All in all very disappointing!!
