Cafe Nero in Epping Forest

Nice quiet space and a good variety of pastries, toasties abd great variety of hot drinks, frappes, iced lattes, smoothies. I ordered the pistachio and salted caramel frappe with whipped cream on top. It was sweet enough for me so asked for a bit more syrup and they did. Very nice.

Lovely Neros and super friendly staff. Great of you have your dog as well.

The woman who works there (presumably duty manager) needs to be properly trained. She's rude, abrupt and unfit to deal with customers. She does not greet on arrival, unnecessarily complicate things and is unwilling to deal with complaints.

I love Nero coffee, however, my takeaway coffees have been consistently shocking with regards to how much is actually in the cup. Is it normal for a regular cappuccino to be half full? This has happened the last 4/5 times I’ve taken coffee away from here.

Great food, service and love that its dog friendly. Just find with most Cafe Neros that they look a little tired and dated. This one was no exception.

Just had coffee with my son in law and grandsons. Service was a little slow but the drink was fine.

Great warm friendly and pet friendly

Nero head office very very slow at repairs ranging from repairing display fridges to toilet(no loo for a week) and currently a broken seat for the last 4 weeks! Think of the customers more. Urgency required.

Very popular today. Did get seat near the end of the line. It can be a bit of squeeze in the aisle. The lady who serve me was helpful and friendly approach. Enjoyed my bacon, Brie and cranberry pienni and the cappuccino

The young trainee boy was great, very sweet and friendly. The lady working with him was rude and made and had no customer service skills, she grunted at me and pointed to the card machine and didn't tell how much it was, she also made me a rubbish coffee which tasted like a cup of hot milk, which I threw away as it wasn't drinkable. Send her back to customer service and batista school. The trainee was great and my boyfriend loved the mango chiller the young boy made him. Maybe the trainee could train her.

Came here on Sunday. The young trainee boy was lovely, very sweet and polite. The lady working with him was extremely rude and made a rubbish coffee which just tasted like hot milk, I couldn't even drink it, I threw it away, big waste of money. I wouldn't come back here because of her.

The store is small, clean, tidy, bright, vibrant, comfortable and colourful. The staff are friendly, well mannered, professional, sociable, respectful, understanding, welcoming and knowledgeable about their product. The price is overpriced for food and drink but it is good quality and I paid £2.25 Belgian chocolate and crispy caramel. It is sweet, flavourful, delicious, chocolatey, crunchy, caramel and mouthwatering which is good. I have been there and it is good because it reminds me of upmarket food with good quality but their price is expensive but when you buy it has good taste, you should go there before it is too late.

I don't usually use Nero as I'm more a Costa customer, but I loved 2 things on this visit, the new blend they offer and the Gluten-free Oat Dairy alternative. The environment was lovely, thanks to the lighting and the decorative fireplace.

just went in to get a coffee..staff are not welcoming no smile ni good morning infant they looked as if they both didn't want to be there today but you can still put a smile on your face won't be going back that's for sure! and I'm only giving the 3 stars for the coffee.

Lovely Coffee, good atmosphere, dog friendly.

It is one of the best around but they are generally good I've used them from Exeter to Berwick and from Belfast to Canterbury and even in Warsaw the Polish capital

They have the best tasting coffee in town and they also have some of the best sandwiches.

I like the coffee but it seems that every time I go I can never get a seat because there are customers working on laptops there. I’ve even seen one woman bring food from somewhere else into the premises and continue working. Meanwhile, I think I’ll look into getting my coffee and snacks elsewhere.

If i could put zero stars I would, the lady with the glasses served me this morning. She raised her voice to me in front of other customers to humiliate me after I explained my issue I had with my drink. Will not be visiting this branch again, staff need customer service training!!!! 11:20am on the 11/11/22

Favourite coffee shop in Loughton, friendly staff , great coffee and the dog can come inside with us to.

All staff are kind, friendly and very patient as they have to deal with a fair few rude and impolite joe public with no manner's. The food and drinks are delicious and always served with a smile and “have a nice day” 🙂

The head staff at the Loughton branch was extremely rude and very disrespectful. Shouting back when enquiring about loyalty stamps when purchasing a drink and asking for key to bathroom.

Cosy, relaxed and comfortable, it was great stopping here for a coffee.

Met a couple of people there. Hot chocolate was fine and the young lady who made it was very nice.

Nice serene place but I had a few times problem with staff...cold and distanced almost mechanic.

What happend? I used to love this coffee shop, good atmosphere. The staff were friendly and welcoming now that's all gone! Pre making the drinks , so God know how long is has been sitting there! The layout is terrible, with dirty stained seats that should be put in the skip! The whole place has gone down hill. Starbucks has a new customer now!

NERO IN Loughton has amazing staff so lovely and friendly. Its about 12 months that new people running the shop. No customer service at all , so rude and arrogant ! Terrible experience today ,Friday afternoon before 1700pm. Disappointing really

This is such a brilliant cafe and makes Loughton High Road worth a visit on its own. Even in lockdown this is a great cafe just for the friendly staff, but can't wait until we're allowed to sit inside again

Ludicrous that Caffè Nero are contributing to a cashless society. No signage at tills to say no cash taken. Food wastage - as it had already gone into the grill when they refused my cash! Which means it was then thrown out! An appalling waste! And just a shrug of the shoulders from the barista! My bank card is lost and the small amount of cash I have is all I have until the card arrives. Terrible service, terrible attitude of staff and WILL NOT be returning. Cash is legal tender therefore you have an obligation to accept it Disgusting on all counts. Will be spreading the word!

Despite being a large chain coffee shop, this one is particularly friendly and cosy. Always clean, the staff here are happy and friendly. Great coffee!

I will never set foot in this place again! Just this morning I sat in the shop and there were two ladies there who were clearly ill, kept coughing and sneezing and were making everybody around uncomfortable.I have discreetly informed the staff about it , and one of them, a large, mouthy lady barista, told me that if I had a problem with that, I should take it up with them myself,or just move somewhere else! The tone of voice was far from nice, she practically shouted at me!. Imagine now if some vulnerable people get sick as a result of this, in these scary times of pandemic!! The staff should be there to ensure the safety of their customers! And to be safe themselves too, since they are serving so many people and could potentially infect so many others! Absolutely appaling treatment, complete disregard for the health of their customers. Do not go there!!

The staff talk about their customers with total lack of respect. Just listening to the female barrister with the glasses. Extremely self opionated.

Lovely tea/coffee and cake with two daughters, two grandsons and two dogs. Very welcoming and comfortable.

1st time here but was quite impressed as very clean which is important if you are having something to eat. Staff were helpful polite and smiling and made a lovely cup of tea and coffee. Overall warm and friendly place

Hidden Gem, I love this place very discreet quiet and the layout and coffee are a blast the perfect place to hideout and read a book study and get things done especially on a rainy day. Absolutely Perfect 😃👍

Reliable chain that seldom disappoints but rarely exceeds expectations. This branch then a pleasant surprise with an atmospheric and cosy interior that affords relative privacy and comfort in a tastefully designed setting. Outside seating. The usual acceptably adequate standards here and staff on point and polite. This a stand-out branch.

I will be honest. Personally i am a Starbucks fan with the occasional Costa Coffee and Pret... But the coffee here was surprisingly very tasty. Haven't tried the baked goods though.

The Loughton branch of Caffé Nero has a lovely, chilled atmosphere. The seating is comfortable and cosy and the area is well maintained and kept very clean. The coffee served is delicious (I had a Vanilla Latte with Coconut Milk - yum!) and the staff are very chatty and friendly.

I must say that every time I go to have a coffee and a pastry in cafe Nero i always get a good service. The pastries always nice freyand daily cooked. There is no need to mention about the coffee. Not all their shops good but I love going to Loughton one.

I love coming here. The staff are always friendly. Although it's a chain coffee shop it has the feeling of a friendly local coffee shop. My favourite place to relax for a coffee in Loughton. I love the scones with jam and cream! Always iced water available. Toilets clean.

Very polite and friendly staff. Coffee was excellent - stronger than Costa's and goes without saying better than the watery garbage you get at Starbucks. Place is spacious with a nice chilled vibe. Clearly a big magnet for mums and prams in the area

Cafe Nero in the middle of Loughton High Road has become a firm favourite every time I visit Loughton. In particular I find the staff very friendly and helpful. The cafe has a good, relaxed atmosphere and the the coffee is good. The free (cloud) wifi usually works very well. There always people here, relaxing, chatting, and the place is perfect for a break from shopping or for catching up with friends.

Very nice coffee shop. Coffee is very nice it has a mix of seats some are more conformable if staying a while. Excellent WiFi which is a big plus over the Costa which has really slow WiFi and poor mobile signal.
