Excellent service. Staff did very well despite some difficult customers Waited for fresh pastry which they then came and found me with.

Standard coffee shop in the market square of St Neots, so excellent location. Moderately good selection of cakes to go with a coffee -- essential in my opinion (and I hate muffins). I had lemon drizzle. The premises are very cramped, and I had to clear a table myself to use it. Bikers use the place a lot. ]

The coffee is always fine and heated correctly. The staff are always friendly and helpful. However there is such a high turnover of staff and I completely understand why. Not enough of them on a shift. To have only one person serving at the counter when there is a queue going outside the door is ridiculous. The other member of staff is clearing tables and cleaning the premises. So one person is dealing with a long queue and take aways. I have seen so many people look at the queue and walk away. You are losing a lot of trade! I feel sorry for your staff dealing with all this. There should be two people at least behind the counter.

We waited 29 minutes in the queue this morning. This is really unacceptable. For our second cup we moved to the cafe next door where we will be until service is sorted out at Neros.

The young woman, who we understand is the manager in Caffe Nero St Neots is rude, incompetent,at times very inappropriately dressed,and has little regard for hygiene.When approached recently by a customer about rubbish everywhere she quickly became aggressive and rather brusque in her behaviour. Not I feel would make us feel like a return visit to Caffe Nero St Neots.

Went to go and have a coffee with a friend at neros st neots the manger chucked me out of the cafe and was rude and arrogant in doing so and needs sacking

My husband and I have used Neros in St Neots a lot in the last couple of years. I have to agree that the service and cleanliness has dropped off a cliff over the last 9 months. I know it needs a thorough clean but do the staff have to do it? Surely the cleaning of floors etc should be done when the shop is closed. We visited the other day to see the upstairs shut due to cleaning PLUS the back room shut for the same reason. This was at 3pm. This process was being done by the 2 members of the serving staff! Come on Neros’ management get actively involved.

Been going in this coffee outlet for a few years now, last 6-8 months has just gone down the pan with service, cleaning, and the coffee itself. Lots of changes in staffing and it really shows, have complained numerous times direct to Nero’s HQ not a thing down about it....disappointing

Called in for a coffee which was ok but the overall look of the cafe was dirty, visited the loo's and both my hubby and myself commented on how dirty the toilets were. He said the gent smelt The ladies sink was discussing and so was the loo seat. On the back of the door it said it had been cleaned however I think the Manager needs to give it a good inspection. The windows in the corridor to the toilets black with mould. Will not be going back there again.

I like to enjoy a capachino and my husband the hot chocolate. However last week we ordered and actually left our drinks. They were both rather weak and nothing like usual. We heard a lady also asking for an extra shot if coffee as her drink wasn't it's usual strength and the staff member said she would have to pay for it. We were walking out the door so I don't know the outcome but we won't be back.

What I got was water and the smallest amount of milk, frothed to within an inch of its life. The froth sat on top of the coffee and, despite stirring (with the awful paper straw) didn't have enough substance to mix with the coffee. I don't like to post negative reviews, but this was the worst one I've ever been served and couldn't actually drink it. Unfortunately, I found out how bad it was after we had driven off otherwise it would have been returned with my thoughts. I hope the management either retrain the trainee barista, or let her find a job that she can't make a mess of, if this is all she can manage.

Bikers welcome and meet here for a nice coffee and chat. And the 645 is only a stones throw away and a nice river walk too.

Friendly staff, good tea and coffee, lovely selection of cakes and pastries. Nice place to relax with dogs welcome inside and out. Nice seating outside in warmer weather.

The mushroom risotto with Marscapone cheese was delicious but very overpriced for such a small tub. Good cakes.

We dropped in for morning coffee and lingered. Great coffee and personal service. We enjoyed some cakes and the warmth on a cold morning.

I have to be honest, I hadn't been here for some time. Now twice in 3 days. It was only for a coffee on my own. Didn't have anything to eat. Greeted with a smile. Great coffee. Excellent service. Couldn't ask for more. And, they clear tables. Something not seen in another nearby coffee shop chain!

We have enjoyed the coffee, the cakes and the ambience of this coffee house for a number of years. The staff are excellent, always efficient, friendly and welcoming and if there is something not to your satisfaction they will remedy it quickly if you tell them. (I once had a piece of cake that wasn't very nice and they changed it immediately, and I have enjoyed dozens of cakes there since then). They also have outside seating in the market square when the weather is suitable, upstairs is air conditioned and the music inside is pleasant without being intrusive. Altogether a good place to go for a coffee.

Popped in for a quick visit whilst being a tourist around Cambridge. We had eaten lunch not too long ago so me and my partner shared a slice of carrot cake which was huge but delicious!! Possibly one of the best carrot cakes I’ve ever eaten. My partner had a raspberry lemonade which was a bit too strong but still refreshing on such a hot summer day. If in the area, definitely pop in for a visit!

I visit Cafe Nero in St Neots most days and found all staff members to be always polite and hard working,great addition to the town.

Typical Café Nero, pleasant setting where you can watch the world go by. All you would expect from Nero. Staff efficient and pleasant, coffee and food all OK.

Great and compact place to take rest after shopping or just walking. Counter Service is fast . Latte coffee is good .

Ob Kaffee oder Tee alles wsr sehr gut und oben haben wir noch eine Gemütliche Sitzgruppe mit Sesseln gefunden zum relaxen.

After a walk into town and a bit of shopping and feeling slightly cold thought we would have coffee to warm us up. How wrong we were, nice coffee but warm very disappointed

Visit on wed 15th. Good coffee and an adequate breakfast roll. Then we needed the loo - where to start. Pee all over the seats - we all over the floor in both loos. The disabled loo could not have been used by anybody with a disability as the door sticks open and requires the strength of Geoff Caper to pull it shut. The unisex loo had clearly been used by a man who thought he had to tues his pee tube like a fireman’s hose and wave it all around. Didn’t use the loos and went somewhere where they clearly have a better hygiene routine. One loo could had been explained as a recent event since the last check but both loos - slack and sloppy hygiene. Won’t be eating or drinking there again.

We had our elevenses here as we were assured of being able to order a de caffeinated coffee for one of our group. Trouble is that the cakes spoke to us too. Particularly the raspberry or was it cherry tiffin? It didn’t last long...

I use this coffee shop usually around 10 am on Saturdays or Sundays. The service is always excellent. very friendly and very quick. occasionally we will take our little dog in with us and the staff often make a fuss of her and offer her a dog biscuit. Compare this with the service at Costa where dogs are not even allowed in!!! Keep up the good work.

Convenient meeting spot. Excellent coffee and very tasty toasted sandwiches. Friendly staff who are happy to provide your specific requirements.

Fine chain coffee shop. Good service and tables outside in market square if weather good. Had a pain au chocolat and flat white which were both fine.

I love this place as I can visit here with my dog and on a cold/wet day I don't have to sit outside in the cold as dogs are welcome inside too...perfect

When we called into this café on a Sunday afternoon, there were no members of staff behind the counter. One member of staff was outside moving chairs and chatting to customers while a queue of customers built up inside the shop. After several minutes wait, we asked the person chatting outside the shop if anyone was serving and he came inside. Sometime later another member of staff appeared. The coffee and food were average but as there are plenty of other cafes in St Neots, which are happy to serve customers, I certainly shall not be returning to this café.

Standard poor high street coffee offering, where the coffee is so wek they have to use two shots which makes it far too strong.

The service was very quick. I had the lemonade very refreshing and very cold with lots of ice and I had a toasted bun with cheese.My other friends had orange juice with lots of ice and some beautiful cakes.

We usually have coffee here every Thursday and have always been happy with the service. There is usually enough seating and we prefer upstairs, generally being quieter and more comfortable. The place does need new furniture, though.

Good coffee, it's just very dirty, I also bought a mug which ask if it was a new one!, being told yes, got it home and it had coffee in the bottom. This place is miles better than Costa that place is the pits absolutely filthy.

Located in the centre of the town Café Nero is the ideal place to get good coffee and good service. The staff are very friendly. Great place to chill and enjoy a good coffee and it has a nice atmosphere. I highly recommend it as a great place to relax.

This is a really good coffee venue. Staff are really friendly and have excellent memories. They remember their regulars. Coffee in every variety is available in an efficient manner. They also provide filled rolls, to sties and plenty of choice for those with a sweeter tooth.

Nero's is one of my favourite places to spend time in due to the lovely atmosphere. They staff are all very polite and friendly, the drinks are always delicious and reasonably priced, although the sandwiches are a little over priced. The atmosphere just makes you very relaxed and comfortable. Especially great at winter, as it's very warm and has a great view of the market square.

Simply the best coffee in town. They consistently serve the best coffee available in St. Neots. Good selection of sweet treats to go with it. savoury options are quite limited though.

Just called in for an afternoon coffee which was very good. It's nice and clean, we sat outside as it was a warm day and watched the world go buy. It's a lovely town too.

Seemed a little understaffed when I visited but the line moved fast due to the competent and diligent lady behind the counter, coffee is wonderful. Nice and clean as well.

The dirty unwiped tables really put me off! Neros need to listen to their surveys and employ table clearers, it would make such a difference! Every Neros i visit is the same....

Well firstly it's the first time I've ever been in a CNero so wasn't sure of where people que etc all my purchases we great products strawberry milkshake , sandwich and crisps, what wasn't was the grump stern guy on the till. Firstly I took me a while to figure out what I wanted and when I finally did I stood behind the customer currently being served to then hear " err can you wye the other side " no pls ,thank you etc not even a smile which probably would have made me laugh and apologise rather then feel like my presence is an inconvenience. Next it's my turn to order , strawberry milk shake " your supposed to get it off the front counter " oh my bad I think now feeling embarrassed for a second time. Still the guy is not smiling or trying to have a bit of a laugh at my obvious newbie status in CNero. So I offer the money before I get it as to help him not have to wait for me , speed off service and all "No after you get the drink". 3rd time now these guy has spoke to me with out any manners he obviously has had not customer service skills whatsoever there was only 1 gent waiting behind me so wasn't as though he even had a que of people. (Not that that should ever be an excuse for terrible customer service ) The plan was to ask for directions aswell as I was new to the area just visiting but I decided not to as he obviously didn't like me for some reason. Instead I asked a really nice customer. So cafe Nero due to this one guy in your store I actually had a awful first experience with you even though I did enjoy my drink and food I wouldnt dream of ever going in that store again.If you would like to review these comments I entered the store at approx 11.50am 9/5/15 the server was tall shaven head . I'm carrying 2 backpacks.

THis prime location in the old market square in St Neots is really spoilt by the stayed, same old decor that Nero probably "launched" with eons ago. Has a high turnover of staff. It IS a prime location however St Neots has a host of similar Coffee Shops and Snack and Sandwich Bars. K'mon Nero smarten up and get your act together!

Situated on the market square it has a rally nice setting with tables inside and out. The coffee is always good, but the decor inside is very tired and uninspiring. In my opinion it needs a bit of TLC.

Just like every other Nero to be honest although the outside seating is a welcome change. Nothing special to see here. It does what it says on the tin...

We have stuck our heads round the door three times over long intervals and left without even sitting down. On each occasion the place was dirty and untidy. Tables were strewn with dirty crockery and papers that hadn't been collected and it has never looked clean and inviting like most Nero's do. So after the third time of calling, and hastily leaving, we have given it enough chances and we certainly would not return.

Stopped in here for a cup of coffee before heading home.If dropping in and the down stairs looks full check up stairs, it was quite when we stopped off so didn't do up stairs.The counter were you order from is in the middle of the shop and as this has two doors in to the cafe one either side of the counter, so if you come in the wrong door you could find yourself having to squeeze pass the people queuing at the counter to order. The down stars is not very deep which is why when people our queuing to order getting pass to order or with your coffee back to your sit can be a bit of a squeeze.Like all chain coffee shops it really depends if you like there type/taste of coffee, for my wife it was not stronger enough for her taste, 4shot de-caff. The staff our friendly and helpful even helping my wife carry the coffees to the table, yes I was sat down, but I was sorting out the shopping.It overlooks the market square so can become very busy at times.
