Rubbish service , not very welcoming and owner / manager pointed at the walls when asked for menus. Cash only and as much as we want and need cash kept alive , people deserve the choice.

First visit in 20 years, clean, good service, amazing food, very well priced and nice atmosphere. Staff friendly. Fresh bread, hot food, plates warm.

I do not recommend this place. The person working there (I believe owner) changing prices and charging £1 for the slice of lemon which is a joke. Very rude and without any respect for the client. Definitely never coming back and spending my money in this place!

Nell's is a bit of an Ealing legend, the service is quick and the breakfasts - the Irish is a favourite - are tasty and well sized. On warmer days there's a covered garden area which can be a lovely spot for eating, if it's not crowded. You can get a simple cuppa tea or an instant coffee or two, for no extra charge. You can get a slightly nicer latte/cappuccino-style coffee for a little extra. Nice refrigerated soft drinks always on offer. Oh and there's plenty of condiments at hand, too. Definitely a winning full English.

The place to go for a cheap and cheerful hangover breakfast. Always sit in the garden as you never know what chair you'll be sitting on. What it's lacking in cleanliness, it makes up for in character.

Cafe Nell has been established for quite a while now and it’s gained a reputation locally for good quality breakfasts at a very reasonable price. Northfield Avenue has quite a lot of cafés and other eateries but it’s refreshing to have a decent, ‘no nonsense’ place where you can have a good sized breakfast, including tea and toast, for about £5. Great!

As tourists was a lovely place for lunch, lots of options including veggie and vegan, amazing coffee and yummy abundance selection of cakes. Average prices but wonderfully tasty and well presented and all staff are so lovely and welcoming. The place is so cute aesthetically too. We liked lunch so much we returned the next day for breakfast and tried different options this time! 10/10 would definitely recommend, and would go again if visiting again.

Great food! We had a family gathering and bought a full roast lamb from Mugi’s to takeaway. When we got home, it was still hot and it tasted amazing!

In terms of grand, historic interior, this is probably the best Wetherspoons we’ve been too. Such a peaceful, calm and special environment. Our family thought the food and service was just as good.

The consistency in the reviews seem to be that the food is good however the staff are very rude. I’m afraid I have to agree. The staff speak to you like they’re doing you a favour by acknowledging your presence. There’s a huge undertone of arrogance and entitlement from when you walk up to the counter. Not a great start to the day. It’s disappointing as it’s a nice place. Won’t be going back.

Stomach pain and digestive problems every time I eat from there. No idee what they put in that food, looks healthy but it's not healthy at all for you. The staff is horrible overall, you have better chances to win the lottery then get a smile in there. Avoid at all costs!!!
