There are a good range of paninis, baguettes, wraps and bagels -all for only £3.95. My filled baguette came with a generous dressed side salad and a large spoonful of very good hummus. If you want something hot there is soup, lasagne or breakfast options. The most expensive item on the menu is the Full English Breakfast at £5.95. Drinks are also reasonably priced £1.60 for soft drinks and no hot drink costs more than £2.20. The decor is fresh and pleasant and the staff helpful. A real find.

Came across this little gem, after an hospital appointment. Very, very welcoming. Hospitality was 5 Star. Food was 5 star. Just every thing about this little place, was spot on. Will definitely Re-visit when I'm next in town. I ordered Tuna Pianni, it came with salad but not just plain boring salad, it was full of flavours. Can't wait to return and try something else. Well done to the guys that we're running it today.

I came across Mujo on my lunch break and what a great find!! I ordered a fajita chicken panini with cheese and it was absolutely delicious, it was served quickly and with a lovely salad (olives, lettuce, peppers, cabbage all sorts!!) and a scoop of hummus. It was really nice. I then had a slice of lemon drizzle cake and a cup of tea, both were really nice. Beautiful decor, friendly service and tasty food, will definitely be back!

Finding this lovely cafe was completely accidental but so p,eased we did . I parked outside to wait for a friend attending a hospital appointment and my Mum and I decided cafe Mujo looked so nice we would have a drink, so glad we did!! Owners/staff are so welcoming , we decided to have a baguette of prawns and rocket, it was so fresh and plentiful and came with a lovely mixed salad . Mum who is 94 said the tea was the nicest she has had in a cafe /restaurant in a long time and was served in a cast iron tea pot . We were also given two complimentary cinnamon cakes which were also lovely and fresh. It was a pleasure and we will be returning as soon as possible to samp,e more of the menu.

As this cafe was on the way and very close to the LGI dental hospital, my son and I decided to try it for lunch before his appointment. The staff are very welcoming and asked if we were dining in or taking away. It’s quite a small cafe but we managed to get a table and chose ham and cheese paninis, a coffee and a soft drink. The menu included salads, wraps, baguettes, soup, desserts. The presentation of the food was lovely. It came with salad and hummus. It was very tasty and well worth the money. The bill was about £11. I never visit this end of town but discovered this little gem after a recent visit to the Nuffield hospital, which is just round the corner. It was busy (good sign!) and felt warm and welcoming on a really wet day. Clean, nicely decorated, serving breakfast and lunch with usual coffee selection and plenty of tea choices too. Pleased to see some vegetarian choices too and all reasonably priced. (They do take-away too). We tried the hummus/halloumi bagel (delicious!) and tuna mayo baguette, also good - both accompanied by a generous helping of salad & dollop of hummus on the side. We followed with a slice of red velvet cake - best I've ever tasted! The owner, who's Turkish (I think, sorry if not!) was so friendly and chatty - an added bonus to this new culinary discovery, one I can't wait to try again!

We both ordered paninis which each came with a beautiful side salad with lots of different things in it and that was a nice. At the end the owner gave us a slice of cake to share for free as it was Christmas and they were doing this for all the tables! That was a lovely surprise and we enjoyed it. Well I had took my colleague to cafe mujo, as I am a regular there I recommended my colleague to come to this what I thought and new a lovely place, sat down ordered coffee. We get our coffee in a few minutes, next 5 minutes he comes back and starts talking about single life how his wife has ruined his life and believe me I've heard this story all the time but always had sympathy for him!! Till then he is flirting with my colleague and making her feel extremely uncomfortable not being able to drink her coffee! Drinks where cold by the time we got some breathing space food was very good but atmosphere was far from comfortable. As the meal ended we had left and went on our way back to work she had then mentioned he passed his number via leaflet! Now correct me if I'm wrong I'm sure this cafe or any other cafe if not somewhere you pay for flirtation and harassment while eating.

My mother had been in hospital (LGI) for 3 weeks following a stroke when I had to take her to another medical appointment at the Nuffield Hospital just around the corner from Cafe Mujo on Great George Street, Leeds. She's elderly and has a small appetite, but as she had missed lunch on the LGI ward, I persuaded her to stop at Cafe Mujo for something to eat. Neither of us had visited before. She had a smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel and I had a goats cheese salad. Both were excellent quality, with fresh ingredients and a side of hummus on both. The food was fantastic value and the venue bright and clean. Once back in the ward, my mother has been telling all her visitors about her trip to Cafe Mujo!

I have visited this place a couple of times. The first time, I ordered a mocha. I was served a hot chocolate instead. Upon pointing this out, the owner told the waitress to pour in an espresso shot once I'd drunk some of my drink. When I pointed out this still wasn't a mocha he just shrugged his shoulders. Had I not already paid i would have refused. On my second visit, I went to take a seat at a 4 person table; there were 2 of us and it wasn't busy. The owner told me to move to a 2 person table. Begrudgingly I did. Only to find the table wobbled. So I used the laminated menu to fix that, it annoyed the owner but he was too lazy to find an alternative. Instead, we had to drink our drinks; the correct ones were served this time, whilst people queued around our table waiting for the slow service.I won't be taking my custom here again. You'd do well to avoid.

I am sure that you are not allowed to sell these and trading standards would have something to say if they found out!I wont be eating here again and feel totally ripped off at £5 for a tiny bag of crisp, avarage sandwich and water....I know it is not a major deal but this has really got my back up!

Whilst visiting a relative in hospital last Saturday, we went out for a stroll to find some lunch and walked around the corner from the hospital - Cafe Mujo was the first place we spotted. We decided to go in and were welcomed by the owner, Borat, who could not have been more accommodating and friendly. We had a gorgeous lunch of paninis and a side salad, followed by a sample of lemon drizzle cake at Borat's insistence. We loved it so much, we took the remaining portions home with us for later. Tea was served in a delightful tea pot. We had a lovely chat with Borat and his friend, and would definitely recommend this little gem which has only been open for 2 months. As it was Saturday, the surrounding area was very quiet and there was plenty of on street parking available. We are from Sheffield so won't be able to visit often, but if we do find ourselves in this area again, we will definitely call in again. Well worth it and not expensive. Good tasty food and a warm welcome too. Good luck Borat, we hope to see you again soon.

Best fried egg north of the Severn Estuary! Recently moved to Somerset but wanted to show off my Leeds credentials to my other half. Tribeca City Cafe fulfilled all expectations with a superb full English breakfast and coffees to match, all served promptly with refined professionalism. Had a friendly chat with the owner who definitely deserves your custom if you're anywhere nearby. If you can find your way to the magnificent Leeds Town Hall then this superb basement gem of a cafe is only a few yards away. Extra tables at street level also if the sun shines. You won't be disappointed!
