Went in for a breakfast been here many times when in Cirencester, however on this occasion, Thursday table 7, staff member was rude/abrupt. If thay had name badges I would name, her but can't. (all I can say is her first language is not english). Will go again as I love the place and all other staff are great.

Popped into the cafe for brunch while we were on a visit to Cirencester and everything was great. The staff were welcoming and friendly. We had orange juice which was freshly squeezed, flat white coffees that were lovely. I had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. The eggs were soft and fluffy and a generous portion of salmon, just delicious. My husband had the full English and said everything was cooked well and tasted great. We’d definitely eat here again.

We visited the town for the day and had a drink on arrival - we liked the look of the menu (and what we could see others eating) so returned for lunch. We all ordered different things - quiche, soup & sandwich deal and avocado & poached eggs. It was excellent quality, very good value for money and service was prompt, helpful and polite. One of the best cafe lunches overall I have had for some years now.

After arriving in Cirencester early Saturday morning, we were looking around and noticed this cafe for a potential brunch place. I was hoping we would come back in time for breakfast, but due to sightseeing made it for lunchtime instead. Having a tough choice of the BBQ burger and the steak baguette, I finally settled on the burger. I was not disappointed in the slightest!! Without doubt, this was the best burger I have ever had!! Every element cooked or prepared perfectly. A proper thick, juicy burger cooked to perfection and tasted so good!!! The chips were also incredible - crispy and fluffy!! I only wanted a snack for lunch so felt a bit naughty getting the burger, but I was so pleased I did. My partner had an omelette (yes, I know!!!) but also said that was fantastic too. The staff were an absolute delight; friendly, welcoming and helpful. If ever I’m in the area again I will most definitely be coming back. I also bought some scones for home and they were fantastic too!!

My wife and I visited this café on a recent trip to Cirencester. The staff were friendly and proactive. We were seated quickly, despite it being a bust lunch time. The food is unbelievably good! My wife had the Mac and cheese with bacon, and I had a baguette. Really tasty, and very good value. The homemade cakes looked incredible, hence a second trip is planned today!

Another excellent meal at the cafe. A wide selection on their specials board always makes choosing difficult! But I went for the smoked haddock risotto which was scrumptious. As always service was excellent. Although it was busy everyone was maintaining social distance. Staff wearing masks and customers likewise when not seated. Outside undercover seating is still available, as well as the usual indoor seating. Thoroughly recommend a visit to sample the best food and service in town.

We discovered Cafe Mosaic purely by chance about a year ago . It is hiding away down a Mews like passageway . We absolutely love everything about it . Wonderful staff who care passionately about all who come to eat there . Quite the perfect Menu should you have breakfast or lunch . I won’t focus on specific dishes but will say that every thing we have ordered is always superb. I have a very sweet tooth and the Mosaic Cafe cakes are pure heaven !! You can enjoy sitting inside the Cafe or subject to the weather enjoy sitting in the passage way. We are staying in a local hotel so decided to have breakfast out one morning. Tucked away in a little side road is this cafe, warm and welcoming on a miserable wet day!! The service was good, prompt and friendly so everything you could hope for. Although not on the menu, we ordered 2 full English breakfasts and a pot of tea. The food was nice but nothing special, potions were good though. Overall it was not somewhere I'd go again and felt a bit costly at £24.

Food was lovely and the waitress was nice n friendly. We were left a ticket to pay when leaving. The younger lady at the till told us the price, which seemed very high. When I asked her if this was right, I got an abrupt ‘Yes, you had extras on your sandwich’. She didn’t check or confirm with us what we had. We paid and left, however on checking the online prices she had charged us for 3 drinks instead of 2! Maybe if a customer queries a bill, check with them what they actually had!!!

This was our second visit since our favourite cafe re opened. The food was, as always, excellent and made all the more special by the lovely service. Paul, Lesley and the team have put some really good socially distance measures in place and now have extra tables outside under some very substantial gazebos. These were doing a very good job today of keeping the customers dry despite the heavy rain. After use, each table and chairs are meticulously wiped down by the staff which should give slightly wary customer great confidence that all is being done to ensure their visit is not only a lovely experience but as safe as possible.

We have just returned to North Yorkshire after a week's holiday in nearby South Cerney. Making our first trip into Cirencester we came across Cafe Mosaic by chance and had first rate lunch. They have sensibly invested in three gazebos so you can safely take a table outside. Track and trace was in place and all the staff were pleasant, efficient and attentive. A varied but uncomplicated menu we opted for the quiche of the day and some really nice coffee - it could almost have been Nespresso. Yesterday before leaving we returned for breakfast and the bacon sandwich was packed with good quality bacon - and ketchup delivered in small bowls, none of those dreadful sachets here. For my taste the bread could have been thicker but hey that's just personal. A nice touch was on both occasions the ?? owner did a patrol greeting everyone and checking all was well. This is probably the reason why this place is so good. So many similar places are run by youngsters with no direction or supervision and a couldn't care less attitude. Not here and my only regret was that given we are encouraged not to use cash at the moment, we had nothing for the tip jar - maybe if it's possible to do without the accountant having a hissy fit they could display a notice suggesting that on request an amount can be added to the card payment amount. I have given a fiverin lieu to MS UK which affects young people, often women - so their efforts have done some good hopefully. Great little place, try it! PS Toilets, spotless!

We spent a couple of days in Cirencester for a relaxing break. For our first breakfast we chose Mosaic. We both order the full English. Mine was simple... everything. The wife didn't want bread, tomatoes, beans, hash browns.... just awkward!!!! But none of this was an issue to the girl serving. When the food came out, it looked perfect, well cooked and great quality. Unfortunately, whilst eating breakfast, the lady behind the counter put a Lemon Meringue in the display unit. Not just a Lemon Meringue, but an amazing looking Lemon Meringue. We ate our breakfast, paid and left..... but not for long. The aforementioned Meringue had my wife in its spell and we returned. The good lady decided on a slice of the "LM".... it looked phenomenal. Apparently... it tasted as good as it looked..... we will return to Cirencester and we will return to Mosaic.

Stopped off for coffee and tea cake. Very pleasent staff, clean layout and tables AND loos . Food a drink came quickly with a smile. So I returned for lunch and had a BLT again excellent . Good menu choice. Busy but efficient staff kept the food coming out. Will return.

We have visited Cafe Mosaic on many occasions but last week we enjoyed breakfast there for the first time. It was well cooked and hot and served with the usual friendliness. For a small cafe they always present food well and it is enjoyable.

Llegamos tarde para el almuerzo y teníamos la intención de probar uno de nuestros lugares habituales. Pero habíamos estacionado en un lugar diferente a lo normal y caminamos por el Mercado de la lana y vimos Cafe Mosaic.

Excellent restaurant in a very beautiful hotel where I celebrated my birthday with a a small group of friends. Last year I also enjoyed an evening meal here with my partner. Ambience, service and food were perfect. Apéritifs in the lounge, well-spaced tables in the restaurant, excellent, polite and friendly staff, delicious food and lovely surroundings. By far the best restaurant I have been to in years.

Lovely welcome , great service . I definitely recommend the Turkish eggs from the breakfast menu. An unusual dish of yoghurt poached eggs and sourdough toast with a spicy twist , delicious

What a find, a very quintessential English country pub serving local beers as well as a very stocked back shelf and wine cellar. The welcome is warm and very friendly from the staff and locals alike. Not once did we finish our meals and head home, as we started conversations with the locals and fellow guests, that meant for a very social atmosphere. There is a good lunch menu and a very comprehensive evening menu. I promise you will want to come back to try "something else" off the menu, I know we did and we soon realised that we had to pick either starters & main or main & desert due to the larger portions you receive.

We attended a Wedding at Fosse Manor (in their Hyde Barn). The wedding catering was excellent. It is confusing to read the other reviews here as there was no actual restaurant on site that we could see - just the wedding banquet room and adjoining bar. Breakfast however was not good. Pre-cooked under 3 heat lamps and self-service. The tea was very weak even after adding more tea-bags! The breakfast room was styled like a hostel with long trestle tables for lots of guests to sit together, and was extremely noisy. After a night spent in the terrible accommodation here (for which we have written a separate review) we did not enjoy this experience at all. A shame, as the Wedding catering itself was very well done and managed.

A very old fashioned type of tea room. You think you're going into a book shop at first, then go into the main tea room. It all exudes history and quality. Very nice for afternoon tea, the cakes are wonderful and all made on the premises, the brunch was great too. Can't really fault it. Service was quick despite it being very busy. Highly recommended, well worth a visit
