Firstly, the tables were disgustingly sticky from previous customers. I ordered steak pie, chips and mushy peas with gravy. My partner ordered Baked potato with tuna mayo. Food wasn't hot at all, chips were very cardboard like, gravy came in its own jug which had had an overspill of its contents, not a good look, peas were fine. Baked potato wasn't hot, salad was limp and unexciting. Tuna mayo, barely edible. Overall, a dreadful experience. I won't be going back.

Food was freezing and under cooked was just awful no customer service staff are rude dirty cafe never clean tea and coffee done work never again

Disgusting, ordered a quarter pounder and got a circle piece of cardboard! Chips were freezing cold, the only thing got from what we ordered was the KIDS MEAL which was PIPING HOT! Including the plate! Till wasn’t available for orders, had to be done on a computer which confused my grandma and made us not want to eat here. We wouldn’t have if it wasn’t my sons dinner time but truly wish we hadn’t and we had just gone in store and bought a sandwich instead!

Coffee machine never both working and always empty and you also need to bring your own knife and fork to eat your meal due to none been clean

Supposed to be open till 6. Staff were complaining, about more customers coming in at 4.20pm, as they wouldn't be able to close at 5pm. Out of most kids snack box items. 95% of main meals not available. Choices were burger, chicken tikka or fish pie. Hot drinks were out and a sparse choice of cold drinks. Hot food whilst hot, wasn't great. Not worth the money paid.

The restaurant was dirty, every table needed cleaning the food was burnt and cold the cups were all dirty as was the silverware. I don't expect much from a supermarket but this failed even basic hygiene

Breakfast was appalling service worse. No black pudding no hash browns given 6 measly chips instead no discount for lack of produce. Complained to customer service was told sorry il pass on your comments to the manager who after a week has nt bothered to respond. Inedible food should have been given money back or food replaced.

I had lunch here last Monday, my friend lives locally and it was convenient. I wasn't expecting much to be honest, just basic café food. We both had the fish and chips. One small and one large. Hands down it was the best fish I've eaten in twenty years. Succulent and tasty with no evidence of grease at all. The takeaway at Saltburn pier could learn a thing or two from this place. I don't often have fish and chips as I am usually disappointed. Not this time. And the price....£7.99. Plus I couldn't finish all the portion....I didn't leave any fish though.

ordered food and you needed a table number but the tables where dirty so asked if we could get a table cleaned by a member of staff who put one hand up with palm facing up as if she was annoyed at the request and said she will try. Table was cleaned and food came. Poached egg on toast with avocado for the mrs and the ultimate breakfast for myself. Immediately after the Mrs cut into the poached eggs it was apparent that every egg was hard boiled and not poached so we went to the till and a advised a miserable member of staff about the eggs being hard boiled not poached and her response was “that’s how the eggs come” i assured her that this is not how a poach egg should be and was told that the eggs come pre cooked and are heated up so it will only be the same again but she will try. Anyways it turned out the eggs ended up the same again and this plate of food was left. Nothing good to say about my breakfast either, tried it but left half of it in the end and it is what i vision a breakfast in a can to be like. It is cheap but that does not excuse miserable staff and terrible food, we also witnessed another table return food and leave.

They were out of fish & chips at 3.45pm! Opted for cheeseburger & chips. Chips were barely warm, tried pouring hot beans over them to warm them up but they were still lukewarm :( ... Burger was served in a sweet brioche (not my taste) with a slice of cold cheese and a slice of tomatoe that could have been used as a doorstop. Hadn't eaten all day so gave it a good go and my husband tried with the burger but still couldn't handle it. Coffee was nice.

Me and my wife went in for breakfast before we did our shopping. We ordered 2 full breakfasts and extra toast and tea. When the breakfasts did arrive. They looked fine but were just warm. Me been Me. I still eat everything. Wife only had half. But thinking about it I should of said something. Iv had to many bad breakfasts from here so I won't be having breakfast here again. Il stick to my frosties. Got there great.

Rubbish. No miik for my tee. No butter for the toast. The lady got the order wrong. They call it a full breakfast. It was small. Track and trace. She didn't ask.

Always pop in here as food is decent and customer service is brill. It can get a little cold in here but apart form that the food and service is great.

I visited the cafe around lunch time, I had macaroni cheese with side salad. When the salad came it was outstanding all freshly prepared. I also enjoyed the macaroni cheese.

Great Value and excellent choice / menu. If you are living on a budget then this place offers great value, no nonsense, top-quality grub.

Good cafe with some good food and drinks.

I go to Morrison’s with the other half (sometimes daughter), pretty much, every Saturday for breakfast and always order, at least 1 vegetarian option, so to be told ( not for the 1st time) that they had no veggie sausages is ridiculous- they sell them in the shop, for goodness sake!! How can they run out, once maybe...... but 3 times, in as many months?? Find this totally unacceptable, as I am a regular customer once, often twice, a week. I am currently looking for an alternative......

Handy for leaving hubby while shopping.

A good variety of food, I had the sandwiches, which were well filled and tasty, including a packet of crisps.

It's ok. But its just quick stuff done in a microwave or deep fried .

Such a bad place, tables were covered in old food (sticky), both breakfasts were cold, latte machine was off and coffee with milk was charged for the price of a latte! Absolutly horrible, avoid this cafe....

Haven't been here in years, and I visited today with my 11 year old daughter.... we used the touch screen panel to order , which we thought was very handy. However, upon choosing seats and table, (the comfy armchairs) we found that the chairs were dirty and table was dirty.... as we know this cafè can get busy we were willing to over look this.... although ... once seated and comfy, an older gentleman leaned over and told me " he had actually saved our seats for someone..... sorry about that" he said... considering there was ample tables and chairs left in the cafè I thought this was very rude, and was unaware the tables in this cafè were available for reservation !!!! We didn't want to sit right next to passing customers in the supermarket so moved further into the cafè.When our meals arrived, the drinks didn't arrive with it, and I had to go and get them myself. When ordering at the touch screen panel, there is nothing to say that you need to get your drinks yourself!!! It jist tells you to display your order number in the stand, and wait for your order..... the breakfast we ordered looked lovely, how ever has missed off the extras I had paid for.... instead of getting up yet again, I called a man over who worked in the cafè, and he politely sorted the situation, and brought the extras to the table, for us. The tea in the pots, just tasted like water, and wasn't very good at all....The tea pots themselves don't have handles on the lids at all, when I looked none of them did ???? They have the screw, where the handle used to be but no handle !!! What's that about ? Food on a whole was tasty, just like a greesey spoons or something really.... a bit gutted I paid nearly £15.00 for this service !!! Wont be returning, and I will be sharing my review.

Great food but ordering takes twice as long as it should because of the attempts to "upsell" more food and drink, even when you have made it clear you don't want anything else.

On a calorie count diet and wanting something substantial I was drawn to mini fish and chips just 440 calories and £4.I was pleased to see all the calories against the food on the menu.There is a range of food from meals to sandwiches and cakes.The fish and chips was lovely and very filling. The restaurant itself is light, colourful and airy

This is on our doorstep, and is probably the easiest place to grab a full English. Never let's us down.

We come for breakfast every week before doing our shopping and always find the staff friendly efficient and never wait to long for our cooked breakfast items . Even when busy we feel excellent value for money and great service. Often they are extremely busy when swimming galas on the nearby sport centre and again swift prompt professional service .We like the fact food is brought to tables rather than waiting via a conveyor belt style of service where the food is cold by the time you get to the till point.I work in the industry and have never had any reason to complain about this local branch. Keep up the great work I say . It is a super market cafe and not a fine dining restaurant but great menu for all tastes and offers excellent value for money.

Well were to start we visited here Wednesday for tea 2adults 2kids my son has additional needs so he likes same food and drink we have eaten here before so he went for same as last time he picked up his milk shake to be told not very nicely by lady on till you can’t have that with kids meal so he did get a bit stressed but he put it back I then asked what he could have to drink she said water or juice so he picked a flavoured water the lady was really rude and said not that one by this time my son was having a melt down shouting and swearing so we had to leave and go somewhere else to eat I have complained (we are waiting on apology off lady) we will never eat here again and al think twice about shopping here too terrible customer services

Popped in to the Berwick Hills branch today. Wasn't busy because of the snow. Firstly the staff look as miserable as the weather. I bought my son a pizza meal. When he brought the cutlery over it had old food stuck to it. I went over to where the rest of the cutlery was, and 95% of the cutlery was the same. The tables were filthy, hadn't seen a cloth all day, as were the chairs, I had to look about for a clean one. When I told a male member of staff, he just grunted at me, so I asked for the manager's name, he replied 'I'm going to clean them now'. As I am writing this, he hasn't cleaned anything. Then as I am writing this on my phone, I have my e-cig in my hand, not put it up to my mouth once, and the miserable female member of staff comes over with the good and tells me 'you can't smoke that in here'! What? Do I said to her, if I was sat with a packet of cigarettes in my hand would you remind me not to smoke them? No, you wouldn't. She replies 'nor, but I have to tell you. How about you double yourself away, and clean the cutlery, tables and chairs? She was obviously annoyed that I commented on how dirty this place is and thought she'd "get me told" about my e-cig.If I had been vaping on it then fair enough. My advice is avoid this cafe like the plague. The pizza was like play dough. Rude, unhelpful, miserable staff!

Food is ok and convienient but nothing special if your wanting a meal. Does offer a good breakfast or afternoon tea if you want something quick and easy.

Good Coffee but I noticed one thing that really put me off. Tables are cleared but not wiped, I struggled to get a table without tomato ketchup, something or another stain on the table. Just picked the cleanest one and ate of the tray.Very Poor this is not conducive to Morrisons standards its more like an old bus station cafe. Tuesday 11th October 14.40hrs.

Living locally and working from home, I sometimes grab lunch here just to get out of the house and pick up a few things for the evening meal in the supermarket, the decor may have been refreshed but otherwise standards have really slipped, I wanted a bowl of soup but they didn't have any so I had to make do with a cheese and onion toastie, I waited 45 minutes for the toastie!! The previous 2 visits I chose tuna mayo jacket potato, as this was my favourite healthy option, and both times it was basically a potato covered with mayonnaise, so disappointed, I won't waste any more lunch breaks here!!!

A big improvement since I last visited this cafe. Attractive tables and chairs. Very clean. Lots of choice and some meals very reasonably priced.
