I would highly recommend Moka. The staff are lovely, friendly, efficient and professional. We were warmly greeted and there was a cozy outside with blankets and heaters as well as an inside area. They have a really good menu and I ended up having the goats cheese salad and my friend had the bacon toastie. Both came out really quickly and were delicious. So much so that my friend ordered another bacon toastie to take away and I ended up ordering the salt beef and mustard bagel just to try it and it was delicious. Everything had a generous amount of ingredients in it and was good value for money. Delicious food, very reasonably priced and service with a smile. Will definitely be back!

Completamente grosero.

Stopped for a quick coffee (with scones) and Milkshake (with doughnut for an 8 year old). Besides the fact that the waitress dumped the doughnut and forgot the cream for the scones. When I went to the counter to ask where the scones were was treated by utter contempt from the lady at the service counter saying it was still coming - this after waiting a further 15 minutes with a doughnut and a cold scone with no cream and no coffee and no milkshake. After asking whether it was normal to place a doughnut and scone on the table without the coffee/ milkshake and without cream for the scones and have to wait a further 15 minutes and still no sign of the coffee or milkshake I was told “don’t be impatient we are busy”. Well this location has the advantage of being the only coffee shop / restaurant outside of the food hall so has a captive audience. Clearly “busy” because of the location not the service.

I used to live in Wimbledon. When this place opened in the middle of Centre Court Shopping Centre it was quite nice. I’ve not visited this place an a few years so as it was just about after the Saturday morning Wimbledon breakfast rush, had arranged to meet my parents for coffee and brunch. Memory serves that service used to be slow but this was better. Flat white was fine. Mum chocolate came back warm. She didn’t want to make a fuss so drank it. Then food came sandwich was ok. English breakfast was ok apart from over done eggs. Ham egg and fries awful! Eggs over done again. Very fatty poor quality ham. Another order of drink and chocolate came back warm again. Apparently you must say extra hot! Won’t go back to visit again, more like a over priced greasy spoon and not a good one! And the people of Wimbledon tolerate this! (Not me anymore). Very disappointed and have rarely written such a review. Oh and the staff don’t know what malt vinegar is! It seems this place relies on the over crowdedness of Wimbledon and ability to get push chairs in. Never again.

This is one of the better places to stop for a bite to eat and a drink to take a break from shopping. The food is Continental with a clear influence from Italy. The dishes are good and the coffee is real espresso. I have eaten here many times and it is consistently good.

I must say this 1st I am such a fan of the Epsom and Kingston branches, that is why I am writing this. Treated myself to lunch on Friday, and can't say anything went right. Stood at the entrance and was ignored by the manager of the Kingston branch (yes she was assembling food but, acknowledgment was all I was waiting for). Walked down to the back and had to wait again to get someone's attention. When I was seated, the server gave menus to other tables and then threw the remaining beside my shoulder, then another server did the same; I was in a corner booth. I ordered a latte and egg mayo sandwich. I was given a small latte, wasn't offered medium or large. The bread was stale. When I tried to get the attention of a server for condiments they just walked past me. Not one staff member smiled whilst I was there. There was no check back's on any tables after food had been served. When the food was served, on all tables whilst I was there it was thrown down. The lady beside me ordered a cappuccino, wrap and chips. The chips came 10mins before the wrap, and only when the wrap came could she ask for sauce! Again no condiments on the table. I thanked the server when she removed my plate and got nothing back. I've worked in F&B myself, and know what it's like. They place wasn't slammed, there was adequate staff. Won't be going back. Such a shame this one is letting the brand down.

Appalling rude service. Partner's eggs came out, my food did not. Whilst he ate through half his food, as it was meant to be hot, I waited for my panini. It was only when I caught the waitresses' attention did she bring out my panini. No apology. The panini had clearly been sitting there for a while. The mozzarella had gone cold and hardened. The panini was cold. No one came to check whether the food was good. . Half way through eating my panini my partner's plate was taken away. No one communicated with us. Poor manners and service. When we wanted to leave no one came over. In the end we went to pay the bill. When I voiced my concerns to the manager, she proceeded to tell off her employee in front of me in Italian. This behaviour is absolutely appalling. She couldn't have dealt with a complaint in a worse way. No real apology. No compensation or attempt to rectify the situation. Suffice to say I won't be coming back and I won't be recommending this cafe to anyone else. They are charging restaurant prices with cafe service.

We had a pre cinema brunch at Cafe Moka. Over the years my wife and I have either eaten or had coffee many times. It is a very busy establishment. It is located on the lower shopping area and is an open planned site - you can see the shoppers and they can see you. A very popular (and rightly so) cafe for all age groups. It is noisy, busy and full of engery. Well it was today. If you want to peacefully reflect over issues that concern you then go to the library. If you want to dine with a lively cross section of society this is the place to go. 1. Staff very helpful and polite. 2. The open plan location creates a high expressed emotional atmosphere. Couples, families (with children) and friendly groups - its buzzing. 3. Fantastic food. I had the full breakfast. I had just finished an eight day work rota and that breakfast was like a big thank you for my effects ! My wife had scrambled egg on toast which she said was cooked exactly to her taste. Well done to the chef that getting that spot on ! A great brunch before we went to the cinema. Thank you.

We went yesterday and the service was really bad, almost felt like the staff didn't want us there, very slow and so rude. There was another 2 lady's that came with a baby and they been told to move to another table cause the buggy was in the Waiter's way, they were sitting on the side and the cafe wasn't busy at all. The lady's with the baby left the cafe without ordering anything and looked unhappy. well, lucky them we had to stay! Will never go again!

Please avoid this it is the worst evening I have had out for a long time. The food was way way way below standard. We paid £35 each for a tiny bottle of what was supposed to be Gin but tasted like dishwater...... We waited over 20 mins for a drink and had to ask 3 times to be served!!! It was not the characters fault they tried there best but way substandard offer to customers. the food was terrible a couple of sandwiches with indistinguishable contents and the cakes were even worse. I am sure they cannot continue to advertise this and get away with charging so much.......

Heavy on the mozzarella; slow on the service. Bready crust and quite a weak tomato base. Olives a slight cheat but much needed.

I have tried to book a table here for two weeks now. I have emailed three times and called ten times. Not once have I received anything back. Awful customer service. I had a few questions before I booked, and I was a party of 10. They have lost out on generous tips and money. Will be looking to spend our money elsewhere. If you can't even answer the phone or email god knows how slow, you are as a business when you're in the restaurant. I dread to think.

Different bagels to choose from, I opted for plain. Liked that I was able to customise my order with ease and no faff - I had the Vegan Cream Cheese Stack, but with regular cream cheese, and tomato instead of avocado. The bagel was toasted and the whole thing was fresh & tasty! Would visit again.
