Café Misto in Lincoln

Forget your chain coffee and pizza places. Without a doubt, we had the best garlic and cheese ever here. And if that wasn't a good enough reason for you, the coffee was up there with the best.

Came here with my partner for my lunch today and my God the mushroom ravioli was sensational! The owner is absolutely lovely and made us feel right at home. The prices are also very affordable and I can't wait to introduce my friends to this little gem!

Great little find. We both had Pasta for lunch and a coffee. Generous Italian portions and the owner was a great laugh. Only a few tables but was a taste of little Italy in Lincoln.....Will be back. Also, this little red Alfa Romeo classic was parked close by and a Fiat 500 so had to take a piccy. Grazie mille

They cancelled two deliveries in the past week after taking payment… got refunded, but very inconvenient after taking time to choose everything. Once can happen to anyone, but a second time is inexcusable for any business. If you are busy or closed, then pause your availability in the app! Not rocket science. As they don’t care to pay attention to their delivery and availability, I’ve taken them off my list of places - which is a shame because I order lunch for the crew regularly… goodbye regular large orders.

A small independent food place. Home made Italian food, very generous portions and friendly staff. We will be back.

We initially stopped by on a Thursday at 4 but they looked closed and we didn't know why. We came back again a few days later earlier in the afternoon and had better luck. Amazing Italian food and really great company with the owner making conversation and including everyone at each table, since it's a small place. It felt very warm and inviting and we'd come back, especially for the food. The prices were also very reasonable and lower than other Italian places in the area which is a bonus.

Can't think why I've never been in here before. I walk past it most days (probably because it's usually full!) The patron is a true character who could talk for England or Italy! Be prepared for conversation. Great coffee.

I had a very good coffee at Misto, smooth and creamy and rich of taste. It’s very vivid and friendly atmosphere in the cafe, thanks to the owner! Next my visit to Lincoln I would definitely have a cup of coffee here again.

had lunch in this cafe yesterday. a woman called Donna served me, she was amazing, she was so friendly and made me feel so welcome, she catered to our every need. incredible service from donna will definitely be returning!!

Great little cafe, Donna always running round making sure everyone is served quickly and kept happy, Fabio the owner is a lovely chatty man, always love eating and drinking here, lovely food, great company with fair pricing, will keep returning

Really small place but very welcoming, the pasta was great and the price was low. The owner is a golden person who makes you feel at home. Absolutely recommended!!

Wasn’t keen, the waiter was very touchy feely and my wife said that he was creepy so we ate up and left quickly.

Delightfully little (v little) cafe with Italian owner Fabio who was very welcoming and friendly. Delicious plate of freshly cooked pasta too. Recommended! I’m just sorry I didn’t take a photo ☹️

Couldn't be bothered to take an order, 30+mins before closing time. I shan't bother to order from them again.

We popped in for a quick coffee and a snack and have not laughed so much. The owner and the young lady assistant were so friendly and funny. We laughed the whole time we were in. The food was very tasty, and great value and the coffee was perfect! I didn't even charge them for the spider removal.

Good breakfast and great coffee provided on a Sunday morning before other cafes in Lincoln city centre were open. Fabio, the owner, was also very helpful with parking our cycles.

Kirsty catered to my dietary needs and fabio was such a great host I'll definitely return because its the most authentic Italian experience in Lincoln I have experienced thanks guys...can't wait to try fabio at 76 your sister restaurant x

We were staying in Lincoln overnight after visiting the uni and needed somewhere to eat. Everywhere else was really full, we saw Cafe Misto and thought it was closed as the owner appeared to be packing up. We were dithering by the doorway, he came out to us and was so enthusiastic, yes, he could do pasta, yes, he could make pizza, we might have to wait a little because he had to make the pasta fresh. We had a fantastic coffee while waiting and chose to eat outside on the small tables. The food came and it was delicious. The owner came out and chatted to us talking about Italy, football and Lincoln, he was charming and entertaining. When we had finished we felt like we had made a new friend.

Popped on for coffee and cake on a wet Monday morning. It may be a small place (only three tables - and takeaway), but there's a warm welcome, cappuccino you can dive into and a great cake selection. They were cooking pasta sauce when we were leaving, which smelled amazing - so can't wait to try a meal there.

Stumbled on this place & boy, this has to be one of the best little bistro/cafe we've ever come across. Fantastic food, amazing service & a truly brilliant atmosphere. Extremely small place but great portions of food. Prepare to wait a bit but well worth it. Cannot recommend this place enough

My favourite coffee shop in Lincoln. A must if you are a lover of a high quality flat white! The owner is also incredibly charismatic and made a simple visit seem like a visit to Italy. Great service.

Lovely coffee and very nice place to rest for a bit, have a food as well, plus you can park right next to it for an hour for free.

Called in on spec. for a bite to eat and drink and am happy to report on what turned out to be a gem of a place. Although the cafe is extremely small the welcome from the owner and his staff was super large. Got to say my chicken salad was absolutely delicious. I was so impressed with the food I ordered Arabiata to take home and that was superb as well. Won't be traipsing anywhere else on our next trip to Lincoln. Straight round to Mistos.
