Popped into Lincoln Jazz Cafe for a drink, ended up on an art tour! The place is like a gallery with a bar. Those outdoor murals? Wow. And with the drinks flowing like art auctions, no wonder the vibes are so good. A real masterpiece of a spot!

Great evening and music, as always! We enjoy trying new cocktails as well as our favourites. Fortunately there are plenty to choose from.

Just discovered Lincoln Jazz Cafe's wine list and it's a dream! I'm not a fan of cocktails, I hear they are very good, but with over 30 wines by the glass, I've even tried orange wine. Finally, my go-to spot for exploring amazing wines!

Simply the best bar in Lincoln possibly England. Best cocktails atmosphere service. Just go and chill, drink and relax the perfect location to get away from it all and a real hidden gem. This place is so special it is a credit to the city of Lincoln. The moment you walk in you can feel the relaxed atmosphere and subtle jazz music playing in the background. The cocktails are truly the best I’ve ever had and I can honestly say I’ve had a few. The owner is truly a wizard of mixing spirits and his knowledge is second to none you can often find the owner working his magic and teaching younger generations in the art of mixology. The customer service is amazing and you’re made to feel welcome as soon as you walk through the door . I happened to find this place on my first visit to Lincoln and I have returned every year since. Thanks for a wonderful experience I applaud you sir 👏👏👏

The Lincoln Jazz Cafe is a lovely little venue tucked away in central Lincoln. The atmosphere is classy and cool, with a sophisticated and relaxed vibe. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the cocktails are delicious. The venue also hosts live music nights, which adds to the overall experience. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

Little Gem in LincolnI absolutely loved my visit to this little gem. The staff were unbelievably friendly and helpful. The decor was sumptuous with a cosy atmosphere. The live Jazz music was amazing and the local talent who played were phenomenally talented. I would definitely recommend visiting especially for the live music.

I love Jazz, and this little club was a perfect fit for me. The bartender was great, makes an amazing Old Fashoned! I will be coming back... I hope to catch one of their live shows while I'm here.

Really amazing cocktails all produced by creative, highly skilled mixologists. We wanted to try something new so went for the ‘smoke and mirrors’ and ‘herbolist’ which were totally divine. There was also an extensive wine list and good selection of ales so we will definitely be back. This place is a fantastic find.

We booked in for the cocktail master class for my dad’s 65th birthday (plus some sharing platters) and had a truly wonderful time. The staff were lovely and attentive, the drinks were good (and they were happy to adjust to our tastes) and the food platters were plenty. We had a great time, thank you for a lovely birthday celebration xx

This is a lovely little venue tucked away in central Lincoln that has a classy and cool feel to it. A HUGE selection of cocktails and drinks, a very interesting drinks menu and a mixologist who is happy to make suggestions and recommendations. I booked a table with some colleagues and we spent a lovely few hours here chatting away whilst trying some good old classics, and some more esoteric cocktails.

We visited the jazz cafe for an evening to see the Hugh Pascal trio. They were fabulous musicians and surprisingly never played before. The atmosphere at the café was cool with great service.

Wife and I popped in for a quick cocktail or two as we were passing by and liked the look of the place. Very smart inside. The gentleman serving was friendly and professional. He made us some lovely top end cocktails. It seemed to be popular and I daresay it will have regular repeat customers. -probably as the place was clean and comfortable with a nice soundtrack and good atmosphere.We will definitely go back when we are in town.

Went tonight with my partner after not going for a year or so. It was such a welcoming evening. It was as quiet, atmospheric and hospitable as I remember. It really is a gem of a place in Lincoln, reasonably priced with high quality, gorgeous cocktails. The selection classic, unique and lovingly made. The staff (tonight was the owner) are friendly, chatty and excellent hosts. I really had a lovely evening. As someone who doesn't like clubs all that much, the Jazz Café is a perfect alternative for a well spent evening. Thank you for a memorable night!

My partner and I were looking for a good cocktail and a chilled atmosphere, we found exactly what we were looking for here. Best cocktails we’ve had for a while, both the Herbology and the Big Enchilada were fantastic. Interesting blend of tastes, not sugary, very sophisticated. Highly recommended!

Came for a live music band on Sunday evening. It was great fun! The band (2 pieces of the 6 piece big easy) were ace and the service was excellent. Thoroughly recommend and will be back!

Incredible cocktails, amazing service and nice atmosphere. Came here with a group on a sunny day, sat outside and were greeted by a very friendly waiter. We were informed of happy hour (2 cocktails for £12) and the cocktails were delicious. The waiter was very attentive in making sure we made the most of the happy hour offer. Lovely to sit back and listen to some jazz.

A couple of days ago I had found where Lincoln Jazz Cafe located. Time for a visit. I slipped down an alley off the High Street. I come out at Lincoln Jazz Cafe. A couple of days ago I had found where it was located. I found open. Tables and chairs outside I walked inside, pleasant ambience, jazz quietly playing, a warm welcome. Was I there for the Wine Club? If I was, 30% off wine tonight. For a glass or bottle I did not inquire was thinking of an espresso martini. I was offered a Negroni. I settled on a Negroni. I can make a Negroni . This was different , a floral aroma. I inquired. It was the way the orange was expressed. I should have paid greater attention. I did though notice thin peel off the orange. I cut a wheel cut in half, run around the rim, drop into the cocktail. I had been invited to an open evening the following night. I was a day early Occasional live jazz. One of the few places I would recommend in Lincoln for a cocktail.

Small, but packed with great staff, great cocktails and absolutely fabulous music. Without doubt, this bar is our go to in Lincoln.

This is a great venue for cocktails and they have a really good wine list. You can order food in advance btw. The team are really ‘on it’ friendly and helpful. We went to the live jazz on Sunday 9th April and it was fantastic. It’s so intimate and Alex Clarke and BD Lens were a great combo.

I have played all over the world and in some of the most prestigious venues. On April 2nd I performed at the JAZZ CAFE in Lincoln with Niall Hunt. This is without doubt the best small venue I have ever played in. The audience is up close to the performing area, it's very intimate and you feel you are making a real connection with them. When you are performing they close the bar so the audience can listen with no distractions. Very few venues afford that level of respect to musicians. Add in a welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff and great drinks and food and it's a world beater. I can't wait to be invited back.

This place is a genuine gem. We were here on Thursday for the live music and booked seats at the front right next to the “stage”. The venue is small and intimate, I would guess about 30 people, so it has a very personal feel. This extends to the staff who are helpful and engaging. I sampled the cocktail menu and was not disappointed. All very tasty. As for the music, the duo we were there for were extraordinarily talented and entertaining. And because the venue is quite small it all felt as though it was a private party. We will be back!

It’s been a while since we have visited the jazz cafe and oh my goodness what a difference ….. gone are the lovely relaxing armchairs , sofa, quirky tables and seating which created a lovely ambience, to be replaced by soulless tables and chairs , completely ruins the previous laid back vibe! Drinks still cannot be faulted however the service can, felt like we were in the way, had 3 rounds of drinks each time we had to distract the waiting staff from their sitting at the bar position, glued looking at their phones to give us service , they didn’t even appear to speak to each other , would love to know what was so important on the phones that they zoned out to what was happening around them . The previous owner( can’t remember her name) was warm and welcoming, which is what is needed front of house. Previously we had often sat in the jazz cafe until after midnight chatting and enjoying the ambience, however on this visit whilst we were deciding on a night cap at just after 11, the waiter literary started packing up around us, leaving us in no doubt our time was up!!! Had been so looking forward to our visit after a few months away but left feeling extremely disappointed and with the feeling we won’t return. Such a shame …. Would love the old jazz cafe back

Wonderful venue and very central Lincoln - a very friendly welcome. The drinks menu was extensive and very reasonably priced - you can pre-order platters of meats/cheese etc too. Ideas place to drop in for a cocktail. On Thursday and Sundays there are often live music events. We attended one on 22 January - what a great evening!

Brilliant music tonight, great venue, and a wonderful staff team. The cocktail menu was amazing and good to see local businesses being supported - Steep Hill Wines provided the wine for the extensive wine list.

My mum and I came out for the Cuban/Latin night with Ariel and Robert and had such a lovely time. The venue is wonderfully intimate and there isn't a bad seat in the house. The drink menu has so much to offer, it will take a number of visits to work our way through the cocktails! We had a very friendly evening with the most amazing music, fantastic service and the best cocktails in Lincoln. Thank you so, so much.

Expensive, frosty, very judgemental and not the most assisting in staff. Hoping a re visit to something worth the high entry fee will improve it but not in a rush.

Lincoln Jazz Cafe…..We’ve recently found this intimate, authentic gem of a place and usually go on a Sunday evening for the great live entertainment and fab cocktails. Last night we went on a Thursday evening for the first time and enjoyed the music of ‘Tuesday’s Child’ (and cocktails)- another great evening was had, hopefully they will be booked again; I’ll be looking out for them! We’ve thoroughly enjoyed all of the gigs we’ve seen there and come away feeling uplifted and we really look forward to going each time. By the way, the wine’s good too.

I hired the cafe for a private event, it was amazing music by Frank Birkbeck Trio. All the staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. All my friends loved it and will definitely be coming back. Thank you so much

Great atmosphere with a good selection of drinks including non-alcoholic. The music is very chilled and at a volume where you can still have a conversation. All in all a great bar.

Great little spot just outside of the main hustle and bustle of Lincoln high street. Bartender was lovely and so friendly and they've got a brilliant choice of cocktails to choose from including variations of popular drinks. Offer live music nights with a schedule of events on the outside by the door but definitely a place I'd come back to for an evening again.
