Found this place by accident as the only place open on a Monday evening and have never been anywhere since. Staff, food and service are top notch Taraq knew our names and greeted us the 2nd time we came made us feel so special. The quality of the food is exceptional and everything tastes so fresh couldn’t recommend higher

Their Railway Lamb is THE best curry for miles around.

Food was okay, some dishes were bland but the railroad lamb was very good. 1st time we have come here and didn't like they were trying to change our times, and the table was very small was really a table for 4 and squeezed us together, they had definitely overbooked. Better curry houses about but definitely not a bad one.

We have tried a number of Indian restaurants in our local vicinity, Cafe Masala in our opinion is our favourite. We have never had a bad meal here, portion sizes are just right and service is great.

This place is a hidden gem in a small village. Definately will visit again. Food was amazing from areas all over India. Service was fab.. our writer explained the dishes I had not heard of before. Plenty of leftovers to take home for the next day 😋 Prices were comparable with other Indian restaurants but I have to say this place serves the best food of any of them. Make sure you book as they are very popular.

Didn’t appreciate being called stupid by a group of male staff as a female on their own when questioning £30 charge for 3 popadoms a coke and a j20. Very mediocre food, far more better options in the local area, surprised by the good reviews as each time I’ve been has been very poor rude service

We come here for my dad’s birthday last night, absolutely phenomenal. Gave them my dad’s cake, and they brought it out when we asked. Really helpful. Very hands on with drinks or anything you need. Food come out fast and was absolutely delicious, they even put birthday balloons up, and a banner. Thank you so much. 7 very happy guests!

This is my all time favourite Indian. I have been to many and none of them has come close to cafe masala. I travel from mk to get a takeaway!! Always come here for a meal! The staff are lovely and very attentive even when it's busy! Food is absolutely amazing!! Highly recommended to anyone who loves a good Indian

Great food got my collection order wrong which is a bit annoying have to wait a long time for just a few bits for collection but they are busy guys. Both times we've got keema naans they're caught (burnt) on both sides so have to pick these burnt sections off which is a shame. This place was a recommendation so we decided to check it out! O'boy it was 10/10! If you're ever in the area make sure you go and check it out the food was incredible.

Wife went here mid week on 04/07/24 and came home with severe food poisoning, and was really sick for 7 days afterwards. Contacted the restaurant via the email on their website to let them know the situation privately and had no response from them. Will avoid in future.

Spent a lovely evening with the family at Cafe Massala which is my local village restaurant. The food is always great, along with the friendly service and very reasonable prices (approx £25 per person for a lot of food, including service) it’s a must visit.

The best Indian restaurant EVER. have tried many others all over the place and we always come back here. Best service, value and the most delicious food you’ll ever have. Always fresh and always consistent. 10/10 every time

Friendly staff and not bad price for the quality, I had the gunpowder and it wasnt as hot as I expected however still very lush. Onion bhajis were the best ive had

The food was good with top quality Lime Pickle served with the Poppadoms and tender Lamb used in the main dishes. What spoiled the experience for me was the fact that they only offer bread made with white flour. I like bread and usually have Chapati or Roti instead of the (white) Rice offered in restaurants because I need fibre to avoid my IBS flaring up (a lot of people have this problem). I was under the impression that Nan bread is made with white flour but Chapati & Roti with Atta (wholemeal flour) and certainly investigation on line supports this. I made my view clear to the Waiter and introduced him to Chicken 65 which was not on the menu and is delicious if prepared correctly. I'm sorry but I won't be returning unless they offer proper Chapati & Roti made with the correct flour, it just seems for their convenience that they use one flour and in fairness they are not the only Indian restaurant to be guilty of this.

Hands down some of the best Indian food I've ever had. Staff is incredibly friendly. Several unique dishes I haven't seen elsewhere. Good selection of wine at reasonable prices as well. Atmosphere is above average as well. Definitely not just your typical curry shop!

Friday evening and it was deserted. I collected a takeaway admitted early, about 6pm but thought it was closed. Not a soul inside. Food was very average. I suspect it's another restaurant that buys in from a central supplier. There was certainly nothing fresh about the ingredients. Once you've had really good Indian food it's difficult to accept the usual fayre from such places.

Was recommended by a local to try this place, and we were definitely not disappointed. First thing is that it was really busy, which is always a good sign - if the locals like this place they must be doing something right. The restaurant itself was nicely done up, and clean, although I felt it could do with just a tad more lighting inside. The menu was pretty extensive, and after a very short wait, we ordered a dhal, mixed tandoori grill, and a kebab afghani curry with naans and parathas. Suffice to say the meal was excellent, with just the right amount of spice, piping hot, and served without an inordinate amount of delay. The service was excellent, and I mean really excellent with the waiters always making sure we were OK, and even the owner popping over to say hello to some out of towners, and even giving us some guidance on the locality. Prices were reasonable, and plenty of off-road parking also available. All in all, highly recommended and would go again if in that neck of the woods.

Any day of the week this is a great place, eat in or take away. Really friendly staff and clearly lots of return customers. Clean and well presented tables and the food is always tasty. Would totally recommend.

A lovely ambience. In truth I do not like Indian food but my wife and our best friends love it so know good food when they get it. I did venture and have something which I believe was called a Chicken Bhuna and I did actually enjoy it. Very nice place well worth a visit if you like your Indian cuisine.

What a great experience last night, taking my America Fiancée and Father for their first UK Curry. The food and staff were fantastic, helping and guiding us with food selection and making sure we were happy and comfortable all the way through the expereince. Special thanks Tariq for dropping us back off at our accommodation, and leading his team to deliver an unforgettable evening.

The worst food I have ever had. The starters were cold. I complained ans qas given another portion. Seemed like the food had been warmed up rather than freshly prepared. Never going back here again!
