Some good vegan options here. Their homemade tofu and soy sauce are incredible! Spring rolls, summer rolls, stir-fries, and curry are all really tasty. The atmosphere is welcoming and warm. It's a great place for couples and friend groups alike. They are familiar with vegan requirements and even have a "green menu" for Vegans and vegetarians! Staff are always super helpful.

Excellent food, nice atmosphere in a muted style, great service, friendly people, but the main thing was the excellent food! I had crispy pancake rolls - proper Vietnamese Nem - and Phö with rare beef and brisket. Good portions. The ginger tea was also very good.

Looking at other reviews I can only assume the chef was out when I ordered (takeaway). Lemongrass chicken - it genuinely tasted like everything had just been boiled in water with no seasoning whatsoever. I have genuinely never tasted anything with less flavour. The spring rolls were dry too. My wife said her pho was nice

Charming old pub that has been turned into a wonderful restaurant, offering an array of sumptuous dishes. There is plenty of choice for vegetarians as well as for those who opt for meat or fish dishes. The yellow and green curries stand-out, in particular.

We had a lovely experience at Miss Vietnam, a warm welcome and isn't it brilliant to have somewhere different to eat! I've been bemoaning the lack of any real variety, restaurant wise for yonks. The food was nicely presented, lightly seasoned, fresh and not heavy. With a menu that doesn't take hours to read through. Generally meaning freshly cooked. I would also say it was good value. So, great service, great food, with a really nice atmosphere, and easy parking. What's not to like! Visited again 25/7/24. Again we had another pleasant evening, my partner having the beautiful avocado and mango salad and I the chilled prawn spring rolls... lovely. We both had a stir-fry main. Mine with prawns (again), my partner with chicken. Both were great flavours, but were swimming in sauce, with very few vegetables, and my partner's chicken was dry, sinewy and tough. Not very nice. Service was good, but the mains were a disappointment.

A nice cosy place. I had the chicken yellow curry, the sauce was too thin and the chicken tough. Service initially was very good, however after the main course we were never asked if we needed more drinks or dessert. Don't think we would return.

Only had the takeaway so can't speak for the restaurant yet but had the takeaway 3 times now and it's brilliant, such authentic Vietnamese food and the summer rolls are an absolute must! Portion sizes are very generous and the staff are absolutely brilliant and so well mannered. More of this is what we need.

Food was delicious but felt the chicken in the red curry was a little on the tough side which stopped the food getting 5 stars.

Waaaayyy too expensive! Was told I'd get 4 chicken spring rolls, only got 2...good food, but severely overpriced for what it is. For £30 (had a bottle of beer too), you can feed an entire family of 4 elsewhere...I was just a single dude wanting a hearty meal. Takeaway isn't always an option for some reason...

Bland tatseless, ordered spicy glass noodles they were not spicy. Bland as hell, bone broth and cheap noodles with tough old boots for beef. Do not recommend

I love Vietnamese food and was thrilled when this restaurant opened in town. The food is excellent, fresh, and fragrant. There is a great selection of dishes on the menu. The team and service at Miss Vietnam is also excellent. There was a bit of a mix up with a delivery fee and they have gone above and beyond to rectify it and put it right. I will definitely be a returning customer for years to come! Thank you to the team at Miss Vietnam!

First time there and the food did not disappoint. Had the chicken stir fried noodles. Went for a quick dinner and food arrived on time and very hot. So far the experience was good and recommended.

Awesome place reminded me of my time spent in Ho Chi Minh city. The food is of high quality and true Vietnamese cuisine! Helpful and caring staff too!

We ordered two soups, Hue an Pho. The broth in both was perfect, so was the beef but we both felt it needed way more vegetables and not just a sprinkle of spring onion. Springrolls were very good.

I am so glad that me and my friend tried this little gem of a new restaurant. I had never been to the one in Hitchin but glad to have them here in Biggleswade. The food was absolutely delicious and came out and was hot and fresh and really so beautifully flavoured and put together. The cost is really good too and portion sizes are great. Really recommend giving this a go. I cannot wait to go back and try some more of the dishes. Thank you for a brilliant evening.

Took my mother here for her birthday, which as shortly after Mother's Day may be contributing to a lacking atmosphere, I fully expect it to be more buzzing on a busy Friday/Saturday night). Had a lovely beer though not quite local was from a brewery from a neighbouring county, and then tucked into the menu. My mum had a homemade lemonade, which the waiter explained took a while to come out as they were squeezing lemons to make it. My mum had done this for me as a child, and the flavour reminded me of this, a very soft and American style lemonade (flat and sweet but not too sugary). We had summer and spring rolls to start, which were tasty (if slightly pricey). However, my fiancee, mother and I all had different mains (I had the Hue), and each tasted so different, but so vibrant and fresh. Great care has clearly been taking in the preparation of the dish in all facets - presentation, recipe, ingredients. Hue reminded me of having a hearty chicken soup as a child on a cold winter's day, with the subtle flavours of the noodle broth warming my soul. My mother and fiancee were equally happy with their meals, lemon grass chicken and stir fry beef. The menu (though with some items scribbled out) focused on a few key items and we can all agree got them right. The service was prompt and polite, food was brought out quickly, and the main meals were reasonably priced. We didn't even need to think about dessert the quality of the mains was so high, it filled up right up! My only criticism is the presentation. The restaurant itself has beautifully restored the former pub, with a working fireplace warming us as Spring is yet to appear, however the menu had items scribbled out, the chairs felt a bit well used Additionally they were fiddling with the music (again it was a very quiet night so this may not be an issue on a busy night). Additionally, they've only just opened so this is something they are likely to work on. If you like authentic food from the Far East, you have to check this place out. Definitely the best and highest quality restaurant in Biggleswade, and I'm sure they will focus more on presentation as they establish themselves. You can find them in the heart of the high street, with plenty of parking nearby.

Heard about this new Vietnamese restaurant in town. I love Vietnamese food so I ordered takeaway at lunchtime. Wow! The delivery was so fast! ...and free! I ordered Salt & Pepper Squid starter and OMG! It was sooo delicious! Then I had a Yellow Chicken curry with rice, which was to die for! I also got free prawn crisps! I will definitely order again! I can't wait to eat in and I Highly recommend! Great food! Fast delivery and excellent service! Thank you!

Wow who would had thought that this place opens up for #BusinessBuzz to hold a local networking event. I travelled over from Milton Keynes to find local and regional entrepreneurs attending. What a beautiful quaint little place, and the menu looks awesome so I’ll definitely be popping back!

Had the 2 course lunch special and it was absolutely superb. So many flavours.

The food was amazing we had the beef salad,salt and pepper squid,tofu spring rolls and beef pho. Would have been nice to be offered another drink but apart from that it was lovely. Fresh tasty ingredients I would highly recommend.

A very real taste of Vietnam in a small English town. I’d been craving Vietnamese food for two months as I’m a regular visitor to the country. So when I was passing Biggleswade I saw the restaurant and made a beeline for it. Ordered vegetarian stir fry noodles. Excellent taste and on par with Vietnam. Thank you so much PS they also had both Bia Hanoi and Saigon which is always a plus.

We arrived at 8pm when our table reservation was booked for but our table wasn't ready, which wasn't a issue. We were then seated and basically left for what seemed quite a long wait with no menu or drinks. We called a waitress over to ask for a menu, she fetched them but couldn't take our drinks order so again another wait. A waiter then turned up and took the drinks order and we ordered the food. Then starters arrived in good time and tasted ok, nothing special really, the dipping sauce seemed to be watered down and tastless. After 40 minutes after ordering our mains the waiter came back to say the beef in red wine sauce dish wasn't available as they had run out. My partner ordered another beef dish and then I'd say 5 minutes later the meals turned up. Mine was yellow tofu curry and egg fried rice it looked lovely but I found it didn't have any taste my partners beef and noodles didn't hit the spot either, the beef was chewy and the sauce was like a clear soup which was tasetless. Overall really disappointed in our experience last night. We did complain about the meal and bad communication regarding the beef dish and the manager took £10 of the bill, but it wasn't what we wanted. We wanted a lovely evening with good service and food. This is just our experience and the restaurant was packed out so I assume others enjoyed it. We won't be going back.

A friend ate at Miss Vietnam recently and loved it, so we both met there today for lunch. Food was excellent, I've been to Vietnam several times and this tasted authentic. Lunch menu is great value with a starter plus main (incl rice or noodles) for under £10 each - you choose dish then choose which protein chicken/beef/prawn/squid/tofu, so great for our mix of vegetarians and meat eaters. Or you can have a wider choice from a la carte. Service was efficient and friendly. I will definitely be returning on a regular basis, although it is a 30 min drive from home, well worth it.

VERY good first visit - will be back. Maybe it's because they're still getting established, but the menu was a couple of sheets of photocopied pages with white labels covering stuff that wasn't available. Hopefully once they've settled down they'll get the menus sorted :-)

My hopes and prayers have been answered. A new pho place has opened 15 minutes away from me. No longer will I have to drive an absurd distance to experience authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Service was friendly with a smile. Beer selection was limited but was a good opportunity to experience Vietnamese brands. The mood was just right, music not too loud, people enjoying themselves around me... lighting not too bright, not too dim. The Brisket Pho was outstanding, the meat was tender and soft, not grisly. Although I prefer the beef broth to be a bit more rich I can understand why some would prefer it to be clear. No problem at all. For those of you brave enough I suggest requesting the hot chili oil which added another level of heat, perfect for this cold weather. The spring rolls were served piping hot, crispy on the outside not skimping on the ingredients, I opted for the prawn and chicken filling. Overall a great choice for a dinner with friends/date or family. I will certainly be back!

Table of four. Had the spring rolls to start followed by the Mixed Beef Pho. All food was cooked perfectly, with fantastic flavours and fresh ingredients used. Staff were very friendly and accommodating throughout the whole evening. Well worth a visit.

Things I liked: + 2 course deal is good value (but see below) + Food itself was good especially main course stir fry + Nice to see proper local craft beers. 4 Tring Brewery options + Reasonable ticket times What I liked less: - Infuriating online booking system. Booked 11.15, system email told me 10.15, and the place not even open till 11.30. Need to sort this out, probably system glitch with Fork - 2 course deal does not highlight anything vgn, yet they have to their credit a separate vgn friendly menu. The options need to be clearer on the 2 course deal, unless they are trying to be anti vgn which I'm sure are not. The server who took our order did not overly fill us with confidence to this regard. - Late check back , to the point it was pointless but there was one tbf - Spring roll starters not to our liking, what is that plastic looking coating about? Overall a nice enough place, good (mains) food and beer and with the current 2 course deal worth a go

Brilliant food. Such excellent flavours and presentation of food. Sadly, they fell short on customer service with young server constantly on his phone with little attention to his patrons. He missed out topping up drinks and getting our dessert orders before the kitchen closed. Recommendation, young server to recite orders to customers before placing to kitchen as many orders were wrong. We would definately go back as the food was amazing and restaurant is a great place.

We turned up on a Thursday evening at 7.30 and were able to get a table for two but was busy so recommend booking. The food was proper fresh Thai food. The staff were really friendly and attentive. Lovely to have in Biggleswade will definitely be visiting again.

We ordered takeaway one evening. Spring rolls, summer rolls, beef salad, a red curry and some noodles. Was very expensive for small portions (smallest/ thinnest summer rolls I’ve ever been served.), the spring rolls looked crispy and delicious but both them and summer rolls had some kind of tasteless mush-paste in them, probably to fill them out cheaply but it meant that neither of them had much flavour and as they weren’t very big there was barely any actual filling. The beef salad was lacking any flavour and no chilli at all in it. The red curry taste was not nice, with small chunks of dry lemongrass in it that wiped out your tastebuds if you got a piece - like when you get the cardamom pods in a curry. The rice was fine and the noodles too. The dipping sauces were inedible, the sweet chilli style one had maybe undercooked cornstarch and water added, or something? It was thick, gritty, gelatinous and flavourless, and the other one was also not nice to we made our own at home. The service was non existent, the guy couldn’t have been less interested in taking the order or giving it to us. The two stars is for the noodles and rice and the restaurant looked nice on the inside for the 2 minutes I was in there but since it was £50 for 2 people and the worst food I’ve had in a long time all of that would get one star. I genuinely can’t understand the good reviews; we believed the hype because we were so excited to have something new in the area - I don’t know whether we had a bad meal or if people actually like the taste of this stuff. It’s wild.

Drove 40mins specifically to try this lovely Vietnamese restaurant. It was excellent and with great friendly service. We had the Mixed Beef Phò. Authentically created with fresh ingredients and great broth! Highly recommend!

Service was a bit slow and inconsistent. We booked for 12 and the meat broth wasn't ready for pho. I'm not really sure why a vietnamese restaurant opens without their food ready. Cute, good food though! We thought the staff were friendly and the atmosphere was comfortable. They had a lunchtime menu which is a nice option for those that want it.

Great service, friendly atmosphere and incredible food. Had a take away from here over the weekend. The food was delicious and all felt fresh and to a high quality. Not a single dish disappointed. I would recommend the yellow curry and the mango salad - absolutely delicious! Plenty of veggie options too which is great for the whole of our family. Whilst we were waiting we were offered refreshing lemonade and vietnamese coffee, on the house! The owner was very kind and made my mother and I feel very welcome. Can't wait to come back!

Best place we’ve been on our holiday! Food is really fresh and authentic. Owners were so nice and friendly. Seriously this is the best place we’ve been highly recommend if you want fresh authentic Vietnamese!

I ordered online for delivery so couldnt comment on the atmosphere. The food was hot and so fresh! It came quickly too. The tastiest delivery food I have ever had! It was like home cooked food that I didn't have to cook! The beef was melt in the mouth and there was so much of it! Not all onions and one manky bit of meat (literally an experience of mine from another restaurant) The squid was still crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked (previous orders from other places are soggy chewy and over cooked) I usually have to compromise on taste and quality to get a night off cooking. Not this time! Even the thought that has gone into the packaging....no tin packages and no washing up required! We even received a lovely little hand written note and a free gift thanking me for my business. Next time I want to go out to dinner I'm heading here!

Cosy restaurant with enjoyable food, slightly more variety on the menu would be great, but nevertheless a lovely place. We stopped for dinner, wanting to develop our tastes and explore Hitchin's offerings a bit more. The menu has a relatively simple/focused range of starters and main dishes, with just a handful of choices on offer. You can however choose your protein and sides, which allows you to add some variety and adjust dishes to requirements. The food was really enjoyable, being well-cooked and nicely presented, portion sizes were also good - we shared a starter, and each and a main, and left feeling full. The meal was a little more than we might have paid elsewhere, but it was worth the spend. The staff were all very friendly and looked after us well. Possibly the only downside was that the restaurant is quite compact, so when quiet you might not feel like there's much privacy. That said, Abba were playing on repeat - which may be wonderful or terrible depending on your preferences!

Great to see a new Vietnamese restaurant open in the area. We came here for lunch on a weekday and the experience was... mixed. Good: Very friendly and welcoming service, Clean and cosy environment. The taste of the soup base was genuinely great without the MSG thirst. Not so good: The pho portion was a bit underwhelming for the price. I was hungry again within an hour of leaving the restaurant. Also the phos we ordered didn't come with the usual side plate of bean sprouts, herbs and lime. Only when we asked, they said bean sprouts were not available that day and apologised. It would have been better to tell customers before they ordered if a common ingredient was unavailable. And they got the drink order wrong too. None of these were deal breakers and we were probably just unlucky but altogether we were left a bit disappointed. I wish for the business to keep improving and to flourish in Herts! 🙏

DEFINITELY WORTH TRYING My family from Spain came and visited couples weeks ago, took them here for lunch, and had the best experience ever. Their foods are amazing, and the service/staff is such a great help. We had Vietnamese food for the first time, so we were hardly know what to choose. However, the lady was giving us such great recommendations with Pho and red curry and mango salad and it was definitely worth trying foods. They all taste amazing! Not to mention the little miss was running all the tables alone but always has such lovely smile on her. And last but not least, guess what, little miss Vietnam can also speak Spanish! Mucho gusto! And yes, I will definitely be back again to try the rest of their menu

Me and my family has a lovely time at this restaurant on my son's birthday last sunday. The owner was super nice and friendly. Honestly it was such a nice experience (from begining to end). We are vegan, and there was plenty of choices. We especially liked the Mango Salad, Summer Rolls, Salt & Pepper Tofu, Yellow curry, Pho, and Hue, and fried mango dessert roll ;) * basically everything was tasty! It's really cosy decor inside because of the lovely historical building in the market square. I will definitely come back here again next time I am in Hitchin and highly recommend to anyone.

Just had a great evening celebrating my husbands birthday with our family. The food was really tasty and the service was first class.

The location is fun because it's quite tucked away. When you walk in, the atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and charming in its decor. We had a late lunch, so managed to get a bright table next to the window overlooking the square. The staff is very kind and generous. It's clear they also care a lot about their food! We enjoyed some complimentary prawn crackers while our mixed beef hue soup (a spicy pho) was being prepared. Everything was delicious, especially the beef (we got the mix of rare and brisket). The desserts were unique and even made there in the restaurant (I find often restaurants bring in ready-made desserts -- not here!). We particularly enjoyed the jackfruit ice cream, which reminded me of semifreddo. We'll definitely go back and bring some family along.
