Cafe Life have supported Henley Wood parkrun from the word go. Runners and volunteers, along with their muddy trainers, have been made welcome by the friendly staff every Saturday since we began back in October 2018. The cafe serves fantastic cakes and a wide range of hot and cold drinks. There is a varied and very reasonably priced parkrun breakfast menu - a bacon and egg sandwich on brown bread is my personal favourite - but there are many other options. On other days there are tasty lunch options to go with the cake. It's great for kids too with toys to play with and, if the weather is fine, outdoor play equipment to explore. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Oswestry.

After Park Run on a Saturday morning there's no better way to finish than with a stop at Cafe Life for a coffee and some cake. There's a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere with a wide choice of yummy food to choose from. Prices are great too! If you've not visited Cafe Life before then definitely well worth popping in.

I lived here while i was on maternity leave! their food is really good and fantastic value for money too! Their home made cakes are the best!! Its a really child friendly cafe lots of high chairs, fantastic children's menu and a corner to play in as well as the garden with toys when the weather is good! they do weekly specials and also have a hot drink loyalty card. they also have a children's coffee and chaos on a fri morning which is like a play group lots of fun things for kids to do then a coffee & snack in the cafe for only £1.50 i cant recommend this place enough.

We set up parkrun just over a year ago and Cafe Life welcomed us with open arms. Many of the volunteers and runners pop in for a post run coffee and chat. Josh has put on a parkrun menu for us in addition to the excellent selection of cakes. The staff provide a marvellous service and I have noticed they encourage youngsters to get involved including front of house serving the customers. I have popped in during the week and it is usually busy with a real mix of customers, young mums with children, older folks having lunch, natter & chatter tables. As with many cafes wi-fi is available and there is free parking. Highly recommended.

Cafe Life is a brilliant, child-friendly local cafe. Delicious coffe, fabulous, home cooked and reasonably priced food and a lovely wide range of freshly baked cakes. Nigel and the other staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Great for those with children as there is an indoor play corner and a super outdoor enclosed garden with a play area and bikes and scooters which is brilliant in Summer. Highly recommend!

As a new mum this place is great as it is welcoming to babies and little ones. IT has THE BEST homemade cake and once a week we also have lunch here. The food is fresh, homemade, special change daily and is really fairly priced. Staff are great, some a little quirky! Because of it location it is largely frequented by groups that meet in the rooms in this building so you often see groups of senior citizens and mums, but everyone is welcome.

This place is excellent - avoid the crowds in the town centre and just a small distance away is this place. Free parking and easy access. Don't be fooled by the simple menu. There is a list of ingredients and you can ask what you would like in your panini or on your baked potato etc. All freshly cooked and delicious - best panini I think I have had anywhere! The service is mainly by young people and they are excellent, hardworking and polite. The bill will amaze you as it is really good value. The coffee is top quality. There is a large children's play area with toys and an area with grass and toys etc. outside too. Great place for families with young children and those, like myself with elderly family members that need easy flat access. We will be going again! It is worth noting that this may be attached to a church but the cafe does not have any 'religious connotations' should you feel that it is not for you - it is for everyone.

My friends and I have just had an amazing afternoon tea at Cafe Life. It won't be the last either. As regular users of the coffee shop we are used to the friendly, efficient service with delicious cakes. Today they surpassed themselves. An amazing variety of sandwiches, scones, mincepies, shortbread and carrot cake. All at a reasonable price. We will be back as usual in the New Year. Nigel & co you are brilliant.

Wow, I am the first one review this one. They are going to get off to a good start then. Sited in a new church on a new-ish housing estate this is, as you would expect from its setting, a cheerful, family-friendly place. The menu is light snacks for the most part but there are some fabulous home-made cakes on the counter. Four of us visited for lunch. We pre-ordered baked potatoes (two tuna, two coronation chicken). Our meals were ready pretty much on arrival . The potatoes were big, tasty and with properly baked skins (not microwaved). They all came with a rocket salad which was fresh and tasty. With drinks, each bill was about a fiver. Two of us then shared a carrot cake which was every bit as tasty and filling as it looked. This is a community café and a free holiday playgroup meant it was full of mums and toddlers on the day but the service was still quick and efficient. Hidden in a modern church on a housing estate this is obviously one for the locals but, two minutes off a main route into North Wales, it would make a handy stop on that journey perhaps. Simply take the first turn off to Oswestry and the first left after that by the car dealer's . The church will appear in front of you next to a convenience store in less than another minute.
