Cafe Licious in Mid Devon

Fantastic service and generous portions. We thought it was great value for money.. They also accept card payments now for those who don’t carry cash. A really lovely family run place. We will be back next time we are in Tiverton.

Come here a lot and always enjoy it. The staff are always friendly and happy to help. Prices are reasonable. Food is good but the quality of the breakfast meats could be improved. I always go for a baguette and enjoy it every time. Shame they don't open on a Sunday! Loads of seating upstairs as well as downstairs. Cash only. Highly recommend.

Been to this little cafe a few times now and consistently it offers good value, reasonable quality, well run by friendly and organised team. Always seems to be busy which speaks for itself, only suggestion to improve would a be an upgrade on quality for a few of the breakfast ingredients - e.g sausage.. Had toasted sandwiches, baguettes and breakfasts in the past and all were tasty with only the breakfast having room for improvement due to component quality. With the above said, it’s fairly priced offering very good value for money. Note - they only accept cash and the nearest cash point is a 3-4 minute walk to the high street.

Brilliant little find whilst on holiday in Devon. Staff accommodated our family of 7 and 2 dogs helping move tables so we could sit together. Food lovely and a great selection on offer. Team all happy and brought out water for dogs as well. Would return.

Passing through the area on a trip from Somerset to Devon we happen to call in here by chance to get a bite to eat. Located near to the car park it looked busy from the outside which we took as a good sign. Great food. I had a toastie, my husband and son a breakfast sandwich, and the staff helpfully let me order a few breakfast items for my 2 year old. Quick service very friendly staff and very reasonably priced.

Excellent menu so much to choose from and a very reasonable rate. Great portion size friendly and helpful staff. Go here regularly and never been disappointed give it a try well worth it

Wonderful experience. Having recently spent a lot of time in hospital this was my first time out in a long time. I was on a mobility scooter and there is a small step at the entrance. One of the staff came instantly and helped me to a nearby table. I ordered a small breakfast. Bacon, egg, tomato, beans, mushrooms, hash brown and toast. It was well cooked and presented. Good service and hot. Thankyou all so much for your help.

Great value. Big plate of food and very tasty. Second visit and won't be the last. Although we are on holiday we will be back soon. Had breakfast yesterday and that was also incredible value. Definitely recommended.

Dog friendly, nice coffee and cakes, good selection of food as well. Good parking nearby as well if you have difficulty with walking.

We had a very good lunch at this cafe - and liked the way that we were greeted as soon as we came in. We were shown to a table and offered drinks along with menus as soon as we were seated. Service was quick and friendly.

I’ve visited Cafelicious on a few occasions now and always been very pleased with the quality of food and friendly helpful service. The choices on the menu are your typical British cafe favourites, with a few others to add variety. If anything the problem is choosing what to eat with such a selection. It’s worth noting that they don’t accept card payments, it’s cash only. There is a cash point just across the pedestrianised walkway though, so it’s not really an issue. All in all I’d thoroughly recommend Cafelicious and I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in Tiverton.

If you want well-cooked, traditional food for a reasonable price, this is the place for you. English breakfast is very good. Coffee is great high recommended

Went here for lunch today with my mum and the portion sizes were very generous and it was brilliant value for money. We both had a jacket potato with plenty of filling and a good side salad. They had a great selection of food on the menu from light bites to main meals. The staff were friendly throughout our visit. They were very good at clearing the tables once customers left and quick to sanitise the table and chairs making it COVID safe.

Went in for a bit of light lunch. We had a sausage, bacon, and cheese panini. As well as a bacon, brie, and cranberry panini. Whilst the food and drink was reasonably priced. Nowhere outside the cafe, or inside is it displayed that the place is cash only! We weren't told this on arrival either. We only found out when we came to pay, and as neither myself or my partner were carrying cash this came as a bit of a shock. The food throughout was good, but the male waiter who served us was rude

If you want well-cooked, traditional food for a reasonable price, this is the place for you. You're not going to get aubergines on a bed of celeriac puree, or kiwi fruit pannacotta with juniper berries (!!) but you'll get fabulous crisp chips, omelettes, cauli cheese, salads and, according to my meat-eating friends, great fish and meat too. You'll also get generous servings.

This small cafe in the heart of Tiverton is very popular not only for simple teas and coffees, but offers a reasonably priced menu for breakfasts and lunches. The service is friendly and polite, and the staff are very prompt at cleaning down tables and presenting menus.

Popped in for a late breakfast / mid-morning snack. The cafe was busy, which in itself is a good sign, but when I sat down I was greeted immediately and given a menu to peruse. Having made my decision to have the vegetarian breakfast and a cup of tea I didn't have to wait more than a couple of minutes for the drink to arrive and then only another 5-10 minutes for the food, which I was surprised by considering the many customers. I know a cooked breakfast isn't exactly the pinnacle of gastronomic excellence, but it was delicious, and very welcome considering the cold wind outside. To sum up I had a very positive experience. As I've said the food was very good, the staff were friendly, and the cafe was clean. I will be returning the next time I visit Tiverton.

Had a walk on the Grand Western canal then we went to the town center. The boss,my wife treated us to lunch in Cafe Licious. Very clean,charming staff, and two meals for 10 pounds.I was unable to eat all of mine and that don,t happen often as I am a big eater. Lovely cup of tea.We are going there again.

Had a lovely time at Cafe Licicious with Gran during the week. My only issue was I'd have liked avocado with my salad. Gran had a toasted sandwich which she loved. Highly recommended this place. Good prices, friendly staff and the cafe always seems to be busy which is a good sign

We visited early Saturday afternoon for a brief stopover and something to eat in the town. The cafe was busy which indicated it's popularity. We had the all day breakfast and big breakfast. These were served promptly and were nice and hot. At 2 for £10 you couldn't go wrong and I had a lovely pot of tea with mine. Parking is close by and the pannier market is very interesting to have a look round as is the rest of the town ..a great stop over if you're touring to North Devon.

We visited this Cafe in October and have to say the service and meal were excellent. The price was very good also. Nothing was to much trouble, staff very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.

We stopped off in town for a quick snack and this was the first eatery we saw. We both ordered sandwiches in brown bread, for my wife chicken mayonnaise and for me tuna mayonnaise. They were very tasty and the contents had not been skimped on. These were washed down with a tea and milkshake, Certainly value for money.

WE were looking for something simple to have for lunch and noticed when we walked by that this cafe was absolutely packed.

After travelling from South Wales for a couple hours in heavy traffic, we turned off to north Devon from the M5 with a sense of relief. We didn't intend to stop on our way to Clovelly, but my wife quite sensibly insisted that we should as we had set off without breakfast, attempting to miss the traffic! Driving into Tiverton, we were confused by the signage but eventually followed signs for the old market, where parking was available. The old market, now given over to small businesses, in small units, we found this very good and very busy cafe. Opting to sit outside, we both enjoyed really good breakfasts, coffee and tea, all for the princely sum of £11.50. What's not to like?

we visited on Saturday 28th April. it was good that they reserved us a table for us to come back as it was very busy and therewas no tables was available when we 1st arrived . but felt it was very poor was that all 3 meals came out at different times, the last came out about 20 minutes after the 1st one, almost like they forgot the 3rd meal.

We stopped here for a quick lunch and found good food, friendly staff, and great value for money. Thoroughly recommend a visit.

Stopped off in Tiverton with my mother to break up a journey and came across this cafe. It looked clean and inviting so decided to order coffee and sausage baps. The food was served in good time and it was really tasty. There is a nice seated area outside and the staff were really friendly.

Killing time in tiverton, waiting for an arrival at tiverton parkway. Never been around the town. Walked past this cafe and it was very busy, so thought we would take chance. Had the dog, so sat outside, warm October day, but also under glass veranda and canvas. Well it was great. Very reasonably priced, table service, piping hot fresh food -fab. Spanish omelette, jacket potato, salad, tea, chocolate milk shake, sausage and bacon panini with salad £13.70. Will kill more time in tiverton, it was beautiful.

Cuatro de nosotros visitamos después de un largo paseo y estaban muy contentos de hacerlo. Teníamos tés, cafés y zumos. Entonces el gran desayuno, hígado, tocino y puré y tortilla española tarta casita, disfrutamos de todo, buen tamaño porciones y bien preparado. Personal amable y servicial. Excelentes precios gran servicio

Vinimos de compras en Tiverton y paramos para tomar una bebida y un aperitivo, el restaurante estaba lleno, pero encontramos una mesa. El personal era educado, pedimos 2 x panini y bebida caliente, este era un precio razonable y probado muy bien.

Para semana detuvo y almuerzo la comida era realmente buena. Campos principales de salmón y el hígado estaban acompañados de verduras recién perfectamente cocinado y las salsas más deliciosas. Vimos todas las demás órdenes de salir y cada plato parecía genial, así que esta será una de mis paradas regulares cuando estoy en Tiverton de nuevo.

Esto no es un lugar fino pero si quieres relación calidad-precio, la comida que es eminentemente comestible en un entorno limpio y cómodo entonces no puedes hacer mejor que comer aquí. Está bien frecuentados por la gente que aprecia la buena comida para una buena relación calidad-precio (2 platos principales para 10 libras) o un excelente menú para todos los gustos + media un diario. pecials Mi esposa y yo comimos aquí regularmente en nuestros viajes a 'Tivvy y nunca he tenido una mala comida. También hemos comido en el restaurante wellington, que era igual de bueno. Todo esto rematado con un personal amable y cortés y aseos impecables, ¿qué más se puede pedir.

We called in for coffee and cake, very nice, good portions, lots of people having meals that looked lovely, very friendly staff. Nice and clean, efficient service. Will definitely go again

Called in before browsing the market. Nice food and quick service. Friendly staff. Ignore the 4-circles hygiene rating. Nothing wrong and it's as good as any 5-circle rated small cafe I've been in in West Country. Going again next time I am in Exmoor area!

Mi esposa y yo estaba conduciendo a través de Tiverton y encontramos Café Licious junto al mercado de Aparcamiento mientras estábamos buscando un desayuno ligero.

Nice little cafe, me and a friend went for lunch. I had gammon which was very fatty and alot if grissel, my friend had cauliflower cheese unfortunately it wasn't very cheesy.. However other food which was coming out did look good..

Popped in for a sausage sandwich after I had been to town before going home, sausages cooked lovely and had a nice garnish of salad on the side of the plate too

El lugar está limpio y bien diseñado. El menú es bastante amplia para un café -tal vez demasiado amplia ya que resultó. Fue mi primera visita, así que opté por el pollo cajún con verduras. Yo creo que las comidas como este son 'comprados en un supermercado (desde?), y ciertamente no preparado en las instalaciones. El pollo estaba seco de mama con un recubrimiento muy finas de salsa cajún. Las verduras estaban bien, pero realmente no hay mejor que una porción de vegetales congelados mixta (es lidl que lo estaban?).

Aunque yo no soy un habitual aquí, he escuchado una serie de comentarios de amigos, es sin duda muy práctico en un domingo, siendo casi en el centro de la ciudad, se puede disfrutar de una comida de domingo que pronto después de salir de la iglesia por un precio razonable

Hemos estado yendo al café Licious desde que nos mudamos a Devon hace dos años, pero ahora han aumentado nuestras visitas a una vez a la semana. La comida siempre es fabuloso, todo desde un sándwich hasta una cena de asado, las porciones no son pequeñas y es una excelente relación calidad-precio. El personal es super amable. Recomendaría que lo visite.

Not knowing the area I asked locals where to eat so tried this place, good hot food reasonable prices and friendly staff.

I used to visit this cafe when it was under a completely different name and management. But in Tiverton this is the best place to get great value food for a low price. Their fish and chips are also lovely!

Realmente eficiente aquí el desayuno es rápido, realmente sabrosos cocinados frescos siempre caliente algunos otros lugares no muy caliente comida hace una diferencia!y muy buena relación calidad-precio. Aquí también es limpia y las camareras son buenos en lo que hacen. ventaja de asientos al aire libre si tienes un perro demasiado.

We called in for lunch at this cafe and were very happy with the food and service.they have a small outside area which very pleasant in the sunshine.i had the cottage pie and chips which I can throughly recommend.the prices ere very reasonable,over all a plea sent dining exsperiance

mi madre y yo fuimos para un almuerzo tardío hoy - hacen un especial "2 por 10 libras" tratar con una variedad de artículos en oferta. Nos hicieron que acabáramos optando por la tortilla (queso para mamá, hongos para mí). Ellos siempre son claros y suaves y invadida por el sentimiento con el que sea abundante que usted elija, y se sirve con patatas fritas y ensalada y patatas horneadas - muy buena relación calidad-precio! El servicio siempre es buena y el personal muy amable. Sin duda, lo recomendaría a cualquiera que quiera la comida es de buena calidad, recién preparado y servido con una sonrisa!

Had breakfast here today, menu was brought to the table as soon as we went in, every table had customers, very busy, our order was taken quickly, and cooked fresh, food was lovely and hot too, prices were very competitive, well worth the visit no matter what time of the day.
