Cafe Inn in Lewisham

The waitress (indian orgin girl) was really nice and friendly. Her service was absolutely remarkable! Apart from that, the food wasn’t up to standard. We had egg benedict, It was bland and not very tasty. Could be improved.

Love the vegetarian huevos rancheros it taste so good every time ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hmm, the last time I ordered was better. This time the packaging wasn't as good, and the halluomi seemed cut it half to make 2 instead 2 actual pieces. What I can say is the food was still cooked very well, it was tasty.

We where visiting Lewisham from Liverpool and we wanted somewhere close to the hotel to have breakfast and we found Cafe Inn and we where not disappointed. The food was gorgeous and the staff where so lovely and friendly. I think we have found our new cafe when we visit London. Thank you to the staff.

I only had an Iced Coffee Americano, but the Waitress was very friendly and helpful, the Atmosphere was amicable and the Checkout Girl was also very friendly and helpful. This Café is located at the quieter end of Lewisham High Street, not far from the Library. It is quite large inside, but it also has tables and chairs outside. The menu is quite extensive and the food seems to be very tasty.

Absolutely delicious! A proper meal, quality food, quality packed and packaging, chefs kiss! Highly recommend to everybody! My new favourite breakfast place.

The food took extremely long and upon arrival I’ve opened up the food and it looks like half of it is missing this is unacceptable as I believe the driver has eaten my food

Went on a Bank Hol Monday. We were meant to go elsewhere, but it was closed, so we stumbled across this place. It's really nice open and light. Very big inside and friendly staff too. Food was good quality. And well cooked. The sausage was not long, not a cumberland sausage but still meaty. Overall, it was a really nice, calm atmosphere. Lots of people were coming and we were leaving so it is a popular place. Only downside... The entrance is outdoor smoking. So the smell of cigarettes comes inside.

The notification said arrival at 1610 (ish) but it arrived at 1630 because the delivery person had other deliveries first. But my food is cold and disgusting so I cannot eat it!!

First time visiting this Restaurant with my wife for breakfast. Not the cheapest around but lovely food, great portions and very efficient and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Friendly, welcoming, and caring. I only ordered fries and a drink, but whilst sitting in there for a working lunch, I noticed how caring the staff were to a couple of vulnerable customers that came in. They clearly understand their community and embrace it. Not just a cafe!

Paid £12 for the veggie breakfast that doesn’t come with toast and very poorly cooked mushrooms. Not good value for money as was still hungry afterwards, nor is it tasty enough to justify the price.

While the location is nice and the staff is nice enough, there really isnt a lot to report back on in regards to the food, which was not tasty or particularly well made.

Unfortunately my experience was not positive. I am unsure if 3 fish fingers on a bun constitutes a fish burger. However thats what I got and I couldnt drink the coffee either. Shame as they have good reviews.

Ordered a club sandwich, previously ordered it and it came with chips and salad. This time l received a panini and no chips instead. If they can’t prepare club sandwich anymore take it off the menu.

We had overall a good experience. We had 3 breakfasts: 2 english and one avocado toast with salad on the side. Food was good, just too oily - which made it even more heavy. Smoothies were good and huge. 4/5!

Nice small family run breakfast joint.

I had a breakfast in Cafe Inn. Two eggs, because they didn't do omelettes, my usual. Guy serving seemed bored but at least didn't have the fierce, hard gaze that London cafe servers often project, in my experience. Cafe Inn also differed from the other cafes I visited in Lewisham by having arty decor, including modern-art tiles on the wall. Vibe was a sort of shabby chic deteriorating into just shabby. The fried eggs were the highlight of the breakfast--beautifully golden and runny. But the rubbery (reconstituted?) mushroom slices were inedible and the worst I've ever had. I noticed people popping in for takeout coffees, which you don't see in more standard cafes. So I had one, and it was surprisingly good. (Better still for coffee, though, is the Resta Coffee Bar further up Lewisham High Street, which is stellar.)

We ordered a chicken pasta , it was just boiled pasta with milk in it ! I sent it back . Then i ordered a grillwd chicken burger which was worth 7 pounds and the chicken fillet was as thin as paper ! My friend ordered a spagetti bollognaise and she was disappointed too ! Horrible experience !

This is a wonderful family dining restaurant! The customer service is immaculate. I think I enjoy the conversation more than just the food.

I asked for the tinned tomatoes to be kept away from the rest of my food and when it arrived the tomatoes had leaked from its polystyrene container into every box in the bag which in return completely ruined the food. I had missing items (2 x toast at £2.00), the eggs were not as requested and the mushrooms were stone cold. Overall, the worst breakfast you could imagine! Definitely won’t ever order from this place again!!!

I've been eating and ordering online here for a year or more and the consistency and quality of the food is superb - freshly made, tasty, good portions and prices. Fab strawberry milkshake and the eggs benedict makes a fine lunch. Keep up the good work and thank you :-)

Pleasantly surprised by how much choice there is on their menu, and how delicious it all is! Price is brilliant too. Lovely staff. Overall I was surprised by this place, in a great way. A new favourite place I can rely on for a coffee (I had cafe con panna) and good food. What you want from a cafe.

Lovely little cafe with a good range of food

Cafe Inn staff, very welcoming and accommodating to our food needs.The menu is vast and covers vegetarian requirements such as ours !!food is cooked well and very enjoyable,added is the value for money.My adult daughter is disabled and the physical seating(boothes) with comfortable seat make the experience supportive. Very diverse group of users . Recommend Cafe Inn to anyone !!

Completely wrong order and cold when arrived

This cafe used to be good but not now. They seem to be using cheap ingredients and their bacon and sausages are very poor quality. They are also overpriced for what is now essentially a cheap and nasty experience. Service is poor as well which it never used to be. Maybe they are closing down and don’t care anymore? I definitely won’t be back.

I bought a coffe this morning. The lady who served was so rude. Need to learn some manners how to serve people. No greetings, no smile. Only attitute on her face. Never going back

The Cafe is not boring. The staff are soo friendly to me and my mum. The food was very delicious and good quality with amazing prices. The boy toilets was clean but the tank was broken but the girls toilet was fine I would love to come back when I next in London definitely recommend

Food and service is always better when we are visiting the restaurant as they know who they serve.

They must have been having a bad day as my experience was not similar to the other reviews here. Ordered the Mediterranean breakfast and a latte, came to a total of £12. The negatives : 1. Bread roll that came with it was heated in the microwave, it was not fresh, was chewy and after a few minutes it cooled down and turned into rock. 2. The rest of the breakfast was cucumber, two bits of sucuk (sausage) some halloumi which tasted old, the cheese tasted of nothing. 3. The latte was ok, it tasted like a standard filter coffee. Egg was the only good thing. Won't be back as the food was terrible, gave it two for the nice waiting staff.

Delivery person was Rude and belligérant without any prior provocation.

Located a little outside the shopping centre, reasonably priced food, its good for what you are paying for. It's a cafe with cafe food after all. Staff are nice and the cafe is always clean and tidy. Toilets are always clean which is great. There is seating inside and outside.

Recently returned with my daughter at the Cafe Inn Lewisham, after pre pandemic 17/06/2022. Had to look up the company as I remember the top standard of food and customer service on the table from many visit here and eating with great customer care previously. I had to get a fork and clean as the previous fork put on my table that I was eating with had the tastes of 2 mens deodorant smell in a shop we was in collecting my daughter’s pair of spectacles/glasses a few doors away from the cafe Inn. Myself and my daughter could not believe the scent from these mens deodorant were on the fork and also on her fork had the smell as we previously went into the eye optician 20 minutes/30 beforehand then went into Cafe Inn. For me that clearly says that these guys ate with the forks at the same restaurant and this indicates that the washing up is not to the standards that it should be either you are cut costing and using less water and no soap wiping with a clothe putting the forks back into the tray, given this to the next customer… also I have research the company on the business list and they seemed that maybe new management is at play here as the standard is certainly not the standard that “I know” previously was of high standard. Disgusting. I will not be visiting here ever again… please wash your utensils in soapy water and clean. Your customer should not be tasting the previous customers deodorant smell on the forks if they have been throughly washed. This is Basic hygiene. Certainly dissatisfied customer.

Food was amazing and the delivery driver was very nice

Friendly, helpful staff. Great range of options and generous pportions. I was particularly impressed with the liver, bacon, egg and chips - liver is not easy to get just right but this one was excellent! I also loved the fresh tuna, grilled peppers, salad and roast new potatoes. My friend had a baked potato with what appeared to be a whole can of tuna on it

Tucked away on the high street you might miss it if your not looking out for it but a great little find , their food quality is amazing and tastes delicious on every occasion and the staff are friendly also . Opposite the weatherspoon’s for those who struggle with maps.

Really pleased to have stumbled upon this place, we ordered 2 toasted sandwiches, 2 desserts, 2 teas and 2 double espressos, and we were impressed with both the food quality and value. The decor is industrial themed but interesting, and the seating is designed to provide private cabins around each table. We would definitely eat here again if we return to Lewisham.
