Nipped in late breakfast / lunch.. good tunes and atmosphere. Attentive staff and a good range of drinks and food. Super product and a sign writing class going on.

Hidden gem right off the M1 and on Northampton’s doorstep. Relaxed and quirky. An absolute must for petrolheads of all kinds.

Me and wife Went after reading about it in Motorcycle news, it’s cool. Nice atmosphere, very nice owner and serving staff of the cafe in Industry and Supply, loads of nostalgia history, Nice cafe . Plenty parking spaces, good antiques depot , Nice to sit by canal that runs through the middle of the complex, We had a pint of bread on-site from the Microbrewery next door to the cafe, shame the cafe doesn’t sell beer as well. Toilets are out side cafe in a seperatly building there a bit rough and ready, could do with a bit of TLC, ie, fresh coat of paint, new lock on one of the doors, a new toilet brush in each cubicle, and a good clean. clean. They should be maintained properly. And there should be more toilet facilities dotted around, it’s a big complex. I would go again , easy to get to off the A5 Guy Martins record breaking Wall of death Indian motor bike is in the cafe ,we’ll nice. There were several bikers there. Which was nice. Very interesting day out.

Situated in a building of nearly 2,000 sq Ft this consists of a showroom with artwork, merchandise and vintage goodies. Included within this is a small cafe which serves, tea/coffee/ cakes /sausage rolls etc all of which are very good. There are regular events whereby people are invited to call in on their motorbikes/ vintage cars/vehicles etc and to display them for the other customers to enjoy outside. See the website or Facebook for information. There are also music events with vintage singers and dancers, which are fun. It is cold inside as the building has very high ceilings, so in the cooler months wrap up warm. Well worth calling in, there are also some antique shops on site to wander around. Nice for a summer drive out. NB not currently open in the week.

The best Moules a la Creme outside Brussels but for one thing, it was described as Moules Mariniere which it most definitely wasn,t. But the mussels were big, juicy, succulent in a cream sauce to die for. Pity the Chicken Kiev had no garlic butter AT ALL. And when I asked to talk to the chef to congratulate him on his mussels he never came - the difference between a family resturant and a commercial one. What a pity.

The Staff at The Olive Branch always have a smile and they are volunteers. Nothing is too much trouble and they always make us feel welcome. The Homemade Cakes look delicious and the large Cheese Scones are always eaten by my friends. In the colder weather my friends usually have their soup and I always see someone in there eating a Full English Breakfast at lunchtime.

A proper pub/restaurant in West Haddon. Our first visit on Thursday evening, met by welcoming and friendly staff. How good to see a menu of interesting and diverse dishes. And it did not disappoint. We had starter of Ham Hock Terrin, followed by the Beef short rib and The Brisket pie both with fresh vegetables. All well cooked and presented by an obviously competent kitchen. Everything was exellent. The food and drinks were very competitively priced and the whole place had a good vibrant atmosphere. We will be back soon to try some of the other mouth watering dishes.
