This place is well over priced and service not all that good . Food is ok, but not worth the money.

Lovely place to have a coffee after hospital appointment. Good selection of food. Friendly staff. Comfy chairs and an outside seating area

Ordered crusty sausage roll, and two smoothies. Asked for ketchup with the roll - was given tiny sachet. Asked for a second but charged 10p. I was charged 10p for the first one in the original order but did not realise. Indignant, I told the staff to keep the roll and the ketchup as I now had zero intention of eating it and expressed the opinion that a condiment charge is a disgusting practice. Not the staffs fault, just penny pinching management. Picked up the smoothies and sat with the girl. She tasted both, found sharp pieces of plastic/glass in the bottom of one which was sucked up the straw into her mouth. She suffered a small cut inside her mouth but is unsure if she swallowed any other pieces. I took the smoothie to the counter where the staff, initially thought it was ice. They were understandably concerned, checked all their containers which showed no evident damage as source of the material and they were unsure what to do. We decided it might have been present in the frozen packet from their suppliers. I returned both smoothies and told them to forget about it. They offered refund but did not know how to do this on their till so offered cash. Gave complimentary Innocent smoothie as compensation... Staff seemed genuinely helpful. The management - I have a lot less faith in.

Sandwiches are made on the spot according to the customer's wishes. Fresh bread rolls and generous filling, they are tasty and satisfying. Although the choice of cakes is very poor. Sitting area is currently closed and cut off, so you have to find a place elsewhere in the hospital to go sit down and eat. I've been there a few times and didn't get a single smile from the staff. 🤷🏼‍♀️ It almost feels like they don't really want to be there.

This remains one of the better (well, the best!) cafe’s at the hospitals in the Slough area, having now had the misfortune to have outpatients appointments at Wexham Park, Heatherwood and KE VII in recent weeks. It is clean and tidy, the staff are helpful and the prices not overly unreasonable. The choice of fare is also fairly extensive too. A much better visit than the hospital ‘staff’ restaurant further up the corridor. The only problem, strictly speaking with this cafe, is the opening hours... Opening after 9-10am most days is not really doing itself many favours.....

I don't usually think much of hospital cafes, but this really is good. It serves the usual cafe stuff - beverages, snacks and light meals. Staff are friendly and the food is good value for money.

I have to confess that reading the mass of bad reviews about this venue had led to a little apprehension when our daughter booked this place as an anniversary gift. But in the end all was fine. Not that the place is perfect but it rather depends on who you are and almost certainly how old you are or feel. We had a Cosy Room which was not in the main hotel but across a dual carriageway. This was undertaken in pouring rain so not a perfect start. Yes the Cosy Room is small and weirdly the bathroom doesn't have a door but a heavy curtain. However this was fine, the shower good and the towels big and fluffy. The room has no tea or coffee facility so if you wanted one you have to pay and they would deliver to your room. Did I mention the dual carriageway and rain between us and it? Food wise we ate in the English restaurant and the food was good but it's very expensive. They also have a very strange system in their bar which means you have to pay every time you order a drink, you can't charge to your room. Why? In the end Crazy Bear is aimed at the under 30s and wants to attract, according to our waitress, the influencers, whatever they are but I'm pretty sure it's not a man in his 70's. To be fair we were treated very well, perhaps we were a novelty and they were just curious. As an aside Beaconsfield is quite splendid with a lot of choice food wise. Have fun.

Lovely place if you want to have dinner in a kids play area; sorry a restaurant with a group of kids being allowed to run around the whole place, climb over furniture and disturb other customers with no intervention at all from the staff!! Actually I think the parent may have been staff, or a friend of 🤔 Bill was high considering the deals that were advertised and used. Starter and main were good, hot and quickly brought out. Unfortunately desert wasn't very visible in its large bowl with the two tiny scoops of ice cream, 4 smarties and mini flake; definitely should change it's name from "CANDY mania"! On a recent trip to Eastbourne my faith in the Hungry Horse had been restored after previously unimpressive visits to the Iver Hungry Horse. My conclusion is that it's not actually the Hungry Horse that is unimpressive but this particular branch of the franchise 😥 very sad.

Drinks: We ordered 3 drinks in total, all cocktails. They were well presented and had reasonable flavour, they were however expensive in comparison to quality. They also took a long time to make, we had already been served and finished our starters before getting our first drinks. Starters: we had the Hand Picked Crab and the Ham Hock, again very well presented, unfortunatly the crab was tasteless and the bread dry, the pink grapefruit with garlic? oil on it was unusual and frankly not to my taste. Mains: We wanted to order the Beef Cahteaubriand, unfortunatly this wasn't available today and we're advised it wouldn't be tomorrow either, we went for the beef bourguignon instead. Again, the dish was well presented. Unfortunatly it was significantly over seasoned with salt, the single carrot was hard and the mash, although not smash, tasted like smash. The beef itself fell apart but was so oily and greasy that it costed your mouth. A large portion of food was left on both our plates despite being a small portion served. The server asked if we would like anything else, which we declined. Dessert: Sticky Toffee Pudding, nothing to write home about, a reasonable desert although it looked like it was probably out of a box as opposed to home made. Service: Polite but slow, noone checked on how we were doing during either the starter or the main so we didn't really bother complaining other than making a comment about the salt and oil, by the time we made this comment we were already damp (see below) frustrated and ready to leave so didn't prolong any further by ordering more mains. They did take notice of allergen requests and ensured this was adhered to. Environment: The bar felt a bit like a Weatherspoons, the dining area initially looked nice, however on being seated we were moved table by the server as he noticed that there was water leaking onto the table. The second table we were sat at subsequently had the same problem with drops coming through the roof and into our drinks and food. When the heavy downpour started outside the weather streamed down the light fitting and I ended up quite soddon. Overall: 1/5, presentation was nice but everything else was lacking, the final bill came to ~£130 for 3 drinks, 2 starters, 2 mains and a dessert. We are in the hotel for a second night and are looking at local restaurant options as we won't be eating at the hotel again. Weatherspoons quality, inner London price tags. Room 303 - 12/9/2024

Please don't call a Bangladeshi restaurant as Indian and ruin the reputation of Indian food. This was the worst we've ever eaten!
