Cafe Carmel in Camden

Excelente lugar, deliciosa comida y un servicio amable. Cerca de la estación de King's Cross, buen lugar cálido y acogedor para un sándwich de tocino y café antes o después de su viaje.

Nos encontramos con este lugar mientras caminábamos a Fenchurch desde la calle Pancras. El propietario tenía razón cuando aprobó si nuestra elección de un remolino de canela para llevar (era fresco y muy sabroso) y el café hecho de granos recién molidos realmente “golpeó el punto” - gran relación calidad-precio también!

Excellent fresh food and very friendly owners. Good prices and all with a smile. A little gem on a rather unremarkable street.

Cafe near Kings Cross with excellent, good value food which is cooked quickly by the friendly owners. Would happily return again.

Stayed at travel lodge 2 streets away from Carmels. Great breakfast at half the cost of Travel lodge. Worth trying.

I tend to regularly visit this cafe as I work nearby. They only take cash not card payments. The breakfast for a fiver plus tea or coffee is well worth it. That is the positives. However, my most recent visit yesterday I was very disappointed. I fancied something different and I feel I got ripped off by the owners. They have different meals each day and yesterday they had mac n cheese which they recommended to me. I got charged after the meal £5.50 for that and it didn't even include tea or coffee. I mean how can anyone charge £5.50 for macaroni cheese with a bit of salad it's ridiculous! I didn't complain or kick up a fuss I just thanked them for the meal and paid it. Having previously been a regular I won't be going back here again. However, anyone that does visit this place be sure to ask the full price before you dine in or get recommended something as they may overcharge you. Can't fault the breakfast though.

I have breakfast here most days bcos a full English with tea and toast for a fiver you can't go wrong really, and whilst it's very clean and friendly, my only moan is that my egg is always slightly undercooked but having said that my breakfast is cooked in less than 5 minutes so I'd recommend this cafe to anyone.

The first things you notice when you enter the Cafe is the friends welcome and how clean it is. I had a full English, which I would give a 3 out of 5 - eggs were slightly undercooked and the quality of the sausage was not the greatest. Service was really friendly and helpful.

Ok I fess up that my son works there - but we enjoyed both breakfast and coffee and thoroughly enjoyed the place. Great vibe, fresh food, served with style and a smile. Lots of regulars - including the comedian Dave Gorman we noted.

Great breakfast and friendly staff. All of the food on offer is well prepared and high quality. The home Made lasagne is just outstanding. I've eaten here many times and have never been disappointed. The best !!

Good filling breakfasts--fast service. Had omelets with salad---or a choice of beans or salad...go figure. Limited, intimate seating.

Popped into Carmel cafe for an english breakfast served with toast and tea on the way to a meeting just down the rd yesterday morning. i have been here once before. Clean straightforward decor with polite and cheerful staff. They serve an excellent product at the price level. Great start to the day. Will come back next time.

We found this place by accident and glad we did. Not only do they serve great cappuccinos but also do some great baguettes with some very delicious filling. Couple this with with very friendly staff leads to a great independent coffee shop which we will continue to support when we are in London

In London gibt es mittlerweile viele gute Cafes, dieses zählt leider nicht dazu. Qualität und Service sind sehr britisch, das Essen sosolala.

Friday 12th July found me walking past this cafe at about 6.30am. Having got up very early I decided I was in need of a quick "English" breakfast. I was in a rush to I ordered the basic - egg bacon sausage and beans with tea and toast. The tea arrived as a strong grey liquid - completely tasteless. The the "toast" arrived which was two rounds with just the mere hint of toasting. In other words stale bread covered in a yellow smear of margarine probably. Then the breakfast itself. The sausage was a long cheap catering sausage obviously cooked the day before and as tough as a strip of leather. The beans, bacon and single egg were fine. I did not have time to complain, I just paid and left. They should only serve freshly cooked sausage, properly toasted bread and freshly made tea. A tea bag in a cup of hot water might be an idea.

la lasaña ( £6 Ish) de Carmel es un rico y húmedo, cubo de delicias con pocas igualan. Servido con una fresca, ensalada vestido está cerca al ideal de la sana, sabrosa comida campesina. Cuando veo una lasaña de menús en otro lugar, me pregunto si será tan buenas como las que disfrutar en la calle Grays Inn Road? De hecho, así que no alcanzan resultados en comparación con decepción que ahora resistir la tentación.
