Cafe Botanics in Highland

One can sit indoors or outdoors, this is a lovely stop after walking through the botanic gardens. Staff was super friendly.

The gardens are wonderful - but avoid the café at all costs. The staff are friendly and helpful but the food is indescribably bad - a chicken, bacon and cheese panini only took one bite before we realised why there were dozens of them on the shelf. Rubber chicken, tasteless bacon and all overwhelmed by the unpleasant and unnecessary cheese. A tuna mayo sandwich was little better: the cheapest possible white bread containing an anonymous grey mush. I've rarely encountered such poor quality food. To their credit, the coffee was very good - and that's all we shall be buying there in future.

Jardines hermosos. Café espantoso. Pobre personal sin preparación, abrumado, se quedó sin comida, mesas sucias sin limpiar, no quedaba otra opción en el menú. Encantadora estufa de leña nunca encendida en estos días. ¿Se trata de un problema de escasez de personal del Brexit o de una gestión muy deficiente? No espere comer aquí, aunque los jardines son buenos y hay baños y estacionamiento. Lo siento ?

Stopped here for coffee. Nice helpful staff and the view over the gardens from the balcony was lovely.
