Love it but it is closed forever

Store has the most limited opening hours known of any KFC despite being only open for 6 hours two days a week. And 3 hours on Sunday. No dine in service door locked had to bang on for takeaway Staff seem fine, people need jobs in fort William just get loads more stat and keep it open and with good service

Unfortunately, everything was dark and deserted two hours before the official closing time.

Honestly, it's probably the worst KFC in the world. Ordered a sharing bucket with 10 piece chicken. Chicken looked like it was over friend with hard, crispy outer coating. It did not taste like KFC chicken should taste. We ended up throwing most of it away. Ordered a large side of seasoned rice. No spoon or fork provided. Asked how we were to eat it. Guy shrugged and said, "No idea." I had to burst out laughing. We had to throw the rice away, too, as I felt like a savage trying to "drink" the rice. How this place is in business I do not know.

Ordered in advance and went to pick up 2 items and was waiting 35 minutes, other customers came in and ordered huge orders and was away before me I was last person in restaurant. Staff sitting around looking at screen half the time looking like they didn’t know how to do their job. Shocking service

Nice meal, friendly helpful staff, clean and tidy store

Unprofessional behaviour. Their skip orders are never ready. Drivers always have to wait for 10 to 15 minutes.

Went last week and place was clean, food was hot and to order. Very fast service too, will happily come back.

If I was the franchisee of this restaurant I'd start to worry, Your reviews on Google are dismal and your food isn't any better, the food was burnt and dry and served in a bucket not separated. We won't return and with food served like that I expect you rely on holiday makers, we will never return again. I did try complain direct to kfc but no luck there, if only I'd read the reviews before we came, I've never read such bad reviews

Purchased a party bucket to take away. All of the chicken was pushed into one bucket, fillets, hot wings, original chicken. The fries were cold and limp. The extra sides were missing. The quality of the chicken was appalling. It looked like it had been cooked left in the warmer and then refried. It was really dark, hard and dry. THE WORST KFC IVE EVER HAD.

Best KFC I've been to. Staff we're fantastic especially Tyler. He's a credit to the company.

Half the hot drinks were off and the alternatives offered, an americano and tea, were the best part of £1 cheaper but no refund offered. The Juice was missing from the kids meals and despite there being no queue, I had to wait 5 minutes to be served to rectify this. Also the pineapple lollies with the kids meal we're so frozen the kids couldn't eat them. Staff were nice but a bit all over the place.

I would share details of my experience if I had had an experience! To have an experience, the place has to be open. Has head office read the reviews? If not you really --- really should!

The people of Fort William have spoken - this is the worst KFC in the country. I was eager to try it, but was left bitterly disappointed by hot, succulent chicken and excellent service. It definitely wasn’t quite the normal KFC herbs and spices flavour - I think a bit more pepper than usual - but decent fried chook nevertheless.

I travel through Fort William on a regular basis and I am yet to see this place open, sign says 1200 but its never open even though staff inside, don’t waste your time trying to visit here.

Wir waren 1,5 Stunden vor Ladenschluss da und der Ladeb war abgeschlossen. Mehrere Kunden wollten hinein, doch keiner hat geantwortet. Nur der Drive-In war geöffnet und selbst da waren die Mitarbeitenden sichtlich überfordert. Und es waren mindestens 4 Mitarbeitenden anwesend! Bei den ohnehin schon schlechten Öffnungszeiten ein richtiger Reinfall!

Absoluter Saftladen. Hier sollte mal die Fillialleitung disziplinarmaßnahmen durchführen. Der Laden schloss offiziell um 19 Uhr an dem Tag. 17:45 Uhr war das Restaurant abgeschlossen. Nur noch der Drive In ging. Das faule Personal will nur früher nach Hause. 19 Uhr heißt für mich bis dann gibt es Essen und DANACH wird das Restaurant gereinigt. Nicht über eine Stunde davor. Faules Pack.

Never open or closing early... always short of staff.... the other day it was open for drive-through only due to staff shortage, so if you didn't have a car (which I don't), you couldn't get a kfc.

Although the chips and chicken were cooked, the vegan burger was extremely dry! the krushems look like vomit and taste horrible. The tables were extremely dirty and we had to clean them ourselves. All the staff were rude apart from one young man named James Mackinnon.

Chances are it's closed. If it says on Google that it's open, ignore it. If you're northbound on A82 you could risk stopping as you can probably rejoin the road quite easily. Southbound, you're likely to be waiting 20 minutes for a break in traffic

It should be closed about half pass 8 according to google maps. However it closed at 7! Such a bed service!

Wish I could give it a zero star rating. Worst KFC there is! We ordered a burger and twister meal. Firstly only drink they had was 7up. Then we get the food and oops no lettuce or slaw, left with dry chicken and sauce (they didn’t even say anything I went and asked and they apparently had ran out). Restaurant and toilets were disgusting. Save your money, time and tastebuds.

Arguably one of the worst kfcs in existence for. Pulled in and drive through was closed, half the self serve machines broken and appeared short staffed. Then in receiving my order was told only 1 type of soft drink was available and they were out of lettuce or anything(which they failed to mention prior) for burgers and twisters in a 20£ meal😂😂 avoid unless you enjoy disappointment

They served us 8 drumsticks out of 10 pieces of chicken ordered. When complained about it, they apparently only had drumsticks. Furthermore, one of the young lads turned around, with a bit of an attitude, and very kindly informed me that there is nothing they can do! Well, young man, tell you what, you can inform your customers about the situation and they can decide if they wish to order or not. Just as your colleague informed us about not having any peach ice tea, the same should have been applied for the food ordered! Overall, very poor customer service, very disappointed.

Locale chiuso praticamente sempre. Lavorano solo nel week end e sono in un punto strategico. Sporco e frittura pesante. Gestione inesistente. Un Kfc mai visto prima

In short, food is good, location and service/cleanliness is awful. The spot where the KFC is located was good, but the restaurant itself was awful. It was a mess, no clean spots and the toilets were the worst we've ever seen. The food is good, but the mistakes in the order were not pleasant at all. We got here during rush hour, but it still took way longer than it should've.

It should have opened at 12:00, at least according to the shelf on the door. But we waited with others until 12:08, the doors was still closed! The staff was inside. They started preparing paper cup extremely slowly from 12:00. This is the slowest fast food restaurant I’ve ever seen

Was going to come to kfc to order food. We are on holiday up here atm. Disappointed that this kfc is only open 4 days a week. Unheard of back home. Good job mcdonalds was open

Slower than a slow thing on slow speed! Hardly ever open. How can a brand new place be in such a state already?

The food portions are way smaller than on the pictures when ordering which was quite a disappointment. When we got the food after a short amount of time it did taste alright. Besides this the restaurant wasn’t very clean. There were pieces of litter on the floor and the litter boxes hadn’t been emptied so you couldn’t really dispose of anything.

KFC is a nice fast foodchain but this one lacks in all categories. Open&closing times are not followed. Place closes 40 minutes before closing time and opens around midday not the 10:30 am as advertised. Place is understaffed. Quality of food is ok-ish. My advise if you want to eat here: make sure you are on time. But even then the quality of food and the waiting times are way better at Mcdonalds, which is only a 15 minute walk from there.

Another great KFC. We went here for dinner and got the meal for 2 offer just for £6.99. amazing price, great taste, incredible value for money.

understaffed, huge queue and one person taking orders. we arrived at 8pm, and they said we either had to get a takeaway or sit outside since they were closing. closing times are at 9. we decided to sit outside, and ordered chicken but they didn't have any left. the food wasn't that bad. as a kfc fan myself i didnt enjoy this. do not recommend

Trash cans overflowing inside and outside... drive thru was closed... it was packed inside and hot... they were out of many many items, nothing stocked... the worker was nice but very confused and uninformed for running a single till and workers and manager standing around...

This KFC is soo bad. The service is soo slow. Whenever we come they always give the wrong order. They ran out of buns so gave us a warp and didn’t even bother informing us. We stay 5 mins away but at times they won’t serve us because it’s only drive through. It’s silly getting a car when you live so close by.

We arrived late afternoon 5th May 2023. The main restaurant was closed. We went through the drive through and the girl said she would be two minutes. 20 mins later still sitting in the drive through at the window so luckily nobody was behind me so I had to reverse out and go to MacDonalds

As a lover of KFC give this one a wide swerve unless you’ve got a spare hour or so, there’s no fast about this fast food place! Staff clueless, pouring drinks out bottles cause drinks machine doesn’t work, told no ice. Were told they had no chicken on the bone unless I was to wait 15mins for it to be cooked, turned off the self service machines because they couldn’t keep up with orders (wasn’t even busy). If your that understaffed don’t open your door in the first place. Been twice, both terrible experiences,won’t be bk!

I'm sure there's a reason. But we called by at around 7.30, on a bank holiday Monday. The indoor part was closed, so could only use the drive through, interesting on bikes. We had a choice of about three things, and that was it. The young girl serving seemed to be doing her best, but it was rubbish.

Slechte kwaliteit eten. Onvriendelijk personeel en de zaak was niet schoon. Alle tafels waren vies en bedekt met etensresten. Blijkbaar zit er toch veel verschil in kwaliteit bij de KFC

The notice and the sign at the door both say that the building closes at 20:00. It ended up closing at 19:30. We walked for 30 minutes to get there. Really irresponsible behaviour.

Went for something to eat about 7pm on Saturday 8/4/23. A few folk waiting outside and door was locked although folk inside eating. Shouted through the drive-thru hatch asking why the door was locked and was given a reply that the restaurant was too busy and door would be reopened in about 30 minutes. Apparently to do with staff absence, folk on holidays, extremely busy blah blah. Never seen a fast food outlet close before due to being too busy. Not impressed, zero foresight by management. Highly unlikely will visit again when in area.

Absolutely awful. Stood at the til for 20 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me. Then waited a further 30 minutes for food. Had closed my business for an hour to give everyone lunch and we missed it. Just awful

Absolutely joke! Stood for 10 mins at front of queue before even got asked for an order, fair enough they were busy so we all waited to get told it was take away only. This should of been made clear to us before we waited for 10 mins as take away was of no use to us with our two young children. Lady was polite enough but guy behind counter was dismissive unhelpful and clearly on auto pilot. If you can not take 2 seconds to put up a clear note to avoid issues and messing customers about maybe you should not be open. Two howling children are now happily having a MCdonalds thank. I would not waste my time going to KFC.

Unbelievably bad. Doesn't open until 1300hrs and then opens late. No indoor eating. No drive through. No self service ordering. Bins overflowing. Shockingly bad

As I hadn't been to KFC before I decided to park up and go inside so I could see the menu instead of using the drive through option. There was a bit of a queue and only 2 staff on so I expected a short wait, however I was assured with a smile that someone would be right with me. When the time came to take my order I was given some good recommendations as nothing on the menu was familiar. unfortunately there was a mix up with my order which meant a bit more of a delay but again i was given excellent customer service, reassured, given a complimentary upgrade, and have no complaints as to the food. I hear this place is under new management and it really shows, the staff member who dealt with me was first class, and I hope kfc recognise what an exceptional job she's doing. Under stress she kept her cool, her eye on the ball and all the plates spinning, and the smile never left her face. Brilliant customer service and great food. Well done KFC Fort William

The food was nice. But I was supposed to get discount for around £6. The staff had no clue why they couldn't give us the discount.

First time visit to our local KFC today and I was totally impressed by the service received and the quality of the food. I ordered the 10 Piece Bargain Bucket and waited a maximum of 10 minutes from point of order, and when we got home and dished out the food it was lovely and we couldn’t find fault with any of it. Well done Fort William team, we will certainly be back for more.

What a shambles never ever been in a kfc like it 3 staff (not there fault) understaffed shop quite full. manager even locked door so they could clear the orders they had taken and no one could come in to order 🙈took over 1 hour to receive just a trilogy box meal. Dirty Run-down Restaurant. Drive-Thru not open but takeaway only. I assume because they can't be bothered to clean the sticky floor.

Only place we could go to after climbing Ben Nevis, which as two vegetarians wasn't ideal. They basically had nothing available!! No southern rice, mash, rice box or veggie burgers! Ended up spending over £26 on 2 drinks, 1 beans, 1 coleslaw, 4 corn, cookies and a bunch of 'large' (read as completely over priced for the size). Absolutely ridiculous prices for almost tasteless food. You can't sit in and there wasn't enough staff. We walked pass at about 10:15 AM the next day and it wasn't open. I would say to avoid this KFC but unfortunately for tourists it's the only thing around.

Wish I could give it 0 stars, google stated it's open until 8 and we turned up at 6.40, closed early, no signs as to why, would suggest new management and staff, or close it down and let something else take its place.

After walking around Fort William for a few hours me and my family were starved so we all went to the KFC and parked outside the Argos (we have motor home). Me and my mother walked up to the place and saw no one inside accept for the workers, turns out the shop itself was closed and could only serve through the drive thru... So we walked around and waited at the serving point getting more and more hungry as cars started to pile up behind us. My mum told me to ask the people at the ordering station and it turns out the lady on the intercom knew we were there! And didn't tell us we couldn't order through the speaker! It was so stupid after waiting and explaining that we had a van that couldn't fit the height limit.... I understand that it was 'company polacy' but the fact that she knew we were waiting as the traffic picked behind us and did nothing was extremely frustrating...

Sunday 21 08 22 Diabolical. Queuing to a drive through only, Cone stuck in front so you couldn’t. Supposed to open at 1300 it was advertised opening times. Staff member comes out it’s not open till 1330. I know short staffed but maybe someone could update the opening times. Starving 😩

This was our second visit. 1st was a year ago. Last year it was only doing drive through due to staff shortage. Food took an hour to arrive and service was awful. A year later we are on holiday again and thought it surely can't be like that again so we would pay a visit to KFC. Low and behold it was worse. Drive through only again...(due to staff shirtage still) but as we are in a motorhome and couldn't fit the barrier we couldn't get served. When we knocked the window to explain this to the staff we were told they wouldn't serve us and we should go to McDonald's....Nice!! (McDonald's was busy but quick and open for everyone). Suppose it saved us over an hours wait!

Not very clean. Young staff without any adult supervision in site. They closed right after we ordered even though they were supposed to be open 2 more hours. Maybe just a short staffed facility. None of the tables inside or out were clean. Garbage overflowing. Maybe they just had a bad day?

Slowest fast food you will ever find

Couldn't call it fast food. 25 minute wait. Drive through closed. Apparently no staff. I asked for all legs in my colonels meal. Did I get 1 or 2 or maybe 3 - nope, I got none! Worst KFC I've had in over 20 years. Last time was in Canada when they had no chicken!!!
