Cafe Boogaloo in Cannock Chase

Food is lovely. Cafe is quite small and we’ve always had a little wait. Staff are really welcoming and friendly.

Nice Caffè, nice breakfast. Good bacon sandwiches in local little town. Great for local businesses as they do deliver or for the hungry traveller passing this small quaint town.

Just a quick note that people vising cafe Boogaloo it has changed its name but be assured the quality and service remains un changed give it a try

I use the cafe regularly I order over the phone they deliver to me and nothing is to much trouble. I have also taken my child who suffers with Asperger and can be a hand full the staff have always been more than accommodating my daughter doesn’t like things touching on her plate and the staff are more than happy to arrange it in the way she likes everything is fresh, and delicious they make a great sandwich either hot bacon butting or cold cheese they are brill!

Clean and comfortable, good selection of food. Food and drinks always hot. Breakfasts really well worth a try,we love them. Dinners very filling, really recommend a visit.

The Boogaloo is tucked away behind the Pub and the motel. I must admit that you have to look for it. Stopped in only for a coffee. But my friend had a full breakfast. Plenty of food nice and hot pleseantly served. My friend said that the food was tasty.it looked good. Other people in there were tucking into various items of food. All left with clean plates. I

To begin with the cafe is located at the bottom of church hill by the lights. The decor is lovely and the staff are friendly, kind and hard working. The menu is cheap but has a variety of wonderful treats. Not forgetting the free lollipops for the kids. The food was nice however don't forget to ask for butter on your bacon sandwich or for any sauces you would like. A great place for a chill and a brekkie.

Popped in for breakfast and must say it exceeded my expectations. The food was delicious and service first class. Well done Cafe Boogaloo, will certainly drop in again. Highly recommend this cafe

Excellent tasty food, it always takes a while but cooked from scratch. Its a small little place but worth a visit.

Had a couple of breakfasts here and always found the quality to be good , real nice food and not full off grease

I came into the cafe on Sunday 23rd for some food, an old woman behind the counter was just watching the staff rush and struggle as she did nothing, food was okay but had to wait a while as there wasn't many staff in the first place and the fact this oldish woman kept on smoking infront of the cafe which wasn't very professional.

Set back off the main road just pulled on a car park and decided to try it staff were very polite and the food was fantastic .Did not have to hang around long for food and staff even delivered my tea to the table .Worth a visit. Ps also do some fantastic sunday lunches for a good price

Eaten here a few times, food is good quality and plentiful. Its a shame it is tucked away and not directly on the high street.

Having my car MOT'd at a garage next door and the owners there recommended this to me while I waited. The food was of a good standard. The place clean and the staff friendly. Priced about right too. There's plenty of such cafe's in Hednesford but none with free parking etc., I would go again.

Excellent quality food, well cooked and presented, friendly staff, comfortable dining area, I find it hard to beat it here for quality and service...every visit it a pleasure.

Since my retirement this year, I have been seconded into the weekly shopping trips. When visiting the local shops in Hednesford one day, I came across the Boogaloo café, and popped in for a sandwich and cup of tea. I was delighted with the service from the staff, the cleanliness of the place, and above all the food and prices were second to none. Since this discovery of mine, I have now visited several times ( the last time being this morning), and actually look forward to the shopping days, as myself and my wife have breakfast first, before she leaves me there whilst she does her shopping (well women are better at that sort of thing aren't they !). I have even suggested as many days shopping as she likes as long as it is in Hednesford LOL. Once again, nothing but praise for this establishment as it is brilliant. Many thanks to all the staff that work there, keep up the good work, and we will see you soon

While staying at the Joshua tree motel the Cafe Boogaloo Is part of the complex, Which serves light refreshments Including breakfast.The breakfast Is very good value, The one I chose was the middle size one at around a fiver, And I was very Impressed because the plates were hot and the food cooked to your own personal taste, I like mine really well done and I was not disappointed It was spot on, It also came with toast and the drink of your choice from Coffee or Tea, I did get a refill on the tea which seems to be the way they treat their customers, Not like the more expensive hotel type cafe's or restaurant's.The cafe Itself Is very clean and the staff really value you as a customer, And they do everything they can to make your visit a pleasant one. Thank you all at the Boogaloo for your kind hospitality.

Great home cooked food at great prices, and great staff too nothing was too much trouble very enjoyable

Brilliant! Everything is wholesome and appetising from the bacon sarnies to the roast dinner. One of my favourites is their milkshakes. Friendly staff always ready to chat and smile.

Ok for a breakfast if your in town. Good choice and good price. Have a full English and cuppa for around a fiver

Food is good, price is right , great fry up , good parking , it's claen and tidy , also today's paper for you to read , motel next door if you are visiting Cannock chase

My husbands friend recommended that we went to Cafe Boogaloo for our Sunday roast which we did 2 weeks back. We were so impressed with the home style food and very friendly staff that we went back today for a full english breakfast which did not disappoint us. We can recommend Cafe Boogaloo if you want fresh home cooked food very good portions excellent prices and lovely staff. We are defiantly going to be regulars. Trisha & Mark

Went there for a fry up!!! But got much more than that!!!! Brilliant service, brilliant food and just all round brilliant!!! You MUST GO THERE IF YOU ARE IN THE AREA!!! And the sound of the roast dinner for just £4:95 well I'm going back to try that!!!! Go Dawn and Lisa xx

Used when we stayed in the Joshua Tree Hotel and this was an excellent place. 4.95 for a mega breakfast...

A clean cosy honest and friendly little cafe that does great freshly cooked food at very reasonable prices. The big breakfast is ace. The sausages are spot on these days contrary to an earlier comment by somebody else. A cut above your normal cafe.

Third visit to boogaloo 1950's style decor, Sue and Phil very welcoming, homely perfectly cooked food, could not ask for better, recommend a visit, all day breakfast as good as your own, assuming you can cook ;-) whether its a quick sandwich or a grand meal, restaurant standards at cafe prices, what more could you ask for. I will be back for sure x

Do you ever call into your mums and end up being treated to a wholesome meal without any hassle like you were expected? Well I'm lucky, my mum is the best and I'm sure yours is too, but this could be as close as it gets in a café. You're welcomed first time, and then everytime you visit there after. The staff remember you and what you like, how you like your food even down to your sugar in your tea, surely only mum makes the effort to remember that!! So you can be yourself and relax, the daily papers are there, and the cafe is clean and open planned, so you can see the kitchen is clean and well organised. The staff are always friendly and hard working, and they put customers first and it shows by the way we feel when we're there and the smiles on everyones faces after our visit. My family and I use this cafe several times a month, mostly on sundays. We all descend at anytime between 12 and 2pm and its never a problem to get us our sunday dinners, anything from 2 to 8 of us eating. No prebooking has been required thoe when word gets out that'll change I'm sure. If we're in a rush it's not problem, the staff endeavour to accommodate you and your family. I do believe you get what you pay for most the time, and this cafe is good old fashioned value for money food and drink, without the rip offs or pretence. Fresh Veg, tender meat, tastey sandwiches and filling breakfasts, eat in or takeaway. It's a down to earth place, and for a sunday roast, drink and dessert for under a fiver, what more do I need to say apart from the food is great. Its a great little place and I recommend it to all my friends too. At last Hednesford has a Café which is friendly, welcoming, relaxed and great value for money. I've never experienced any incidents of a negative nature involving staff or clients there.Thanks guys for your excellent service.

This is by far the best cafe I have ever eaten in. Full breakfasts reach the table still piping hot (unlike other places I've been) we have also had a Sunday roast there and it was beautiful.it is clean and fresh (doesn't smell like chip pan, like a lot of other places) staff are helpful and friendly and always make sure my little girl walks out with a complimentary lollipop! it is a greasy spoon. When we visited it was quite busy.The breakfast was perfectly fine and hot. The sausage was not very good, very low meat content, will return though.

popped in to this lovely little cafe today had a breakfast and i had to say it was among the best i have ever had !!!

had popped in here with an elderly neibour who had heard of this apparent new cafe. It was dreadful from the off but i did not have the heart to say to my elderly freind....bless her.Food was greasy, almost cold, menu was bland, the cafe itself was trying to be hip and trendy but that is not the style of little old hednesford. The other customers in there were very loud and noisey - i would have expected the staff there to tell them to be quiet or leave but the staff just joined in, even though it was obvious other customers were not happy.I do not view this as a proffessional cafe, just some person trying to run a cross between a cafe, youth club and some where for drunks to hang out. DONT GO !!!!!!!!!!!!!

i took my family down for a sunday dinner and it was amazing even more so when i got the bill to feed a family of 4 plus a baby it cost me 21 quid thats including drinks and puddings now thats what i call good value for money the food was brill what more can i say but get your self down there people
