Cafe Boho in Cheltenham

Stumbled across this lovely cafe, with fab food. Really enjoyed our little stop here. There’s a safe space downstairs for the toddlers to play, which was always helpful.

I visited Boho cafe on my birthday morning. We order two lattes which both were served in a very small mugs. Coffe was weak and on the coldish side. We also had two waffels - waffel itself was small and not crispy. A garnish was tasty, but its hard to mess up apples and biscof. Interior is not what would you expect from the name, There is no boho decorative features.Unfortunately we will not go back there.

Food were great! Latte was way too milky unfortunately . Other than that was perfect !

Very cozy place to have breakfast

My favourite local coffee shop! Great menu for any time of day and lovely drinks! Best thing is the atmosphere and service! Perfect place to meet friends or to sit down on your own with a nice coffee and a book!

Portions were tiny for what the price is, food was nothing special just heated up. Service was quick but not very inviting staff. Nit much seating area and downstairs wasn’t very nice. wouldn’t go back

Excellent Service! I had the Cabrese, which was fresh and packed with flavour. I also had the Bruscetta, Shakshuka and an iced coffee. I couldn’t fault the food or service. I'll popping by again very soon.

Cute little place for a quick sweet bite. It’s not one of those places I would be going back to necessarily but good to try once.

Waited in queue for 5 minutes to be turned away. Then the person behind us who pushed in the queue was given a table without booking straight away. Poor service. The guy managing booking for tables clearly lacks any sort of communication or organisation skills. No apologies even when we had explained what happened with the person pushing in. Disappointed!!!!

waffles were gorgeous but cold

I’m delighted we found this cafe while staying with the in-laws this Easter. It’s so child friendly but in a subtle, understated way. For example, the top floor is perfectly grown up but downstairs there are some lovely toys and books for children; when the babyccino came it wasn’t burning hot; AND there was a small toddler looking seat that came down over the adult one. I’ve only ever seen one of those once before and my kid has been potty trained almost two years. I can’t tell you how much those small, quite simple things make such a huge difference to the enjoyment we all have as a family when going out to eat (which isn’t often as it’s usually too stressful with a three year old!). The food was also amazing. Really high quality produce, cooked really well. I’d definitely go back. We had a really lovely time, thank you.

Looking for a pancake in Cheltenham? Try BOHO. We needed a breakfast after a medical appointment and this was nearby and different from our usual haunts. The welcome was so friendly from the staff and the service was great. Unusually the pancakes were presented in a bowl as they were 2" (50cm) in size with lovely fillings, more than adequate for us, not expendive either. Support our smaller businesses like this before they disappear. GIVE IT A TRY!!!!

The service was quick and friendly. I ordered the bruschetta with focaccia (with a side of crispy bacon) and it tasted extremely fresh. The coffee was great as well. Would definitely recommend.

First time visitor and would thoroughly recommend this little bistro. Our coffees were wonderful, as was the french toast waffles and Sourdough breakfast. The service was quick and very friendly too

The Dutch mini pancakes are so tasty! If me and my partner in cheltenham it’s one of our go to places for a breakfast/snack. The food is always beautifully presented and so so so tasty 🤤

Tucked away in Cheltenham this little bistro boasts a relaxed atmosphere with a range of little treats. The BLT was not a regular BLT and was absolutely amazing. Followed by a milkshake and waffle made the whole afternoon lovely. The staff are friendly and service was quick.

I really like this place, service is a bit slow but the coffees great & it has a lovely atmosphere👌 it's not particularly pushchair friendly unless you sit outside, toilets are downstairs too

Absolutely amazing breakfast. We had avocado and bacon sourdough, the French toast waffle and the Dutch mini pancakes to share (pictured). Everything was incredibly delicious, highly recommend.

We often go here in the morning with the kids, I look forward to the French toast waffles each time!

Tasty. Perhaps a bit pricey for the portion size.

Had the stateside waffle with a decaf latte. Top marks for the flavours, really well balanced, not too much syrup but lovely sweet and savoury taste with the American style bacon. The owner was really friendly and accommodating of the three dogs we brought with us. Will be back.

Pancakes with crispy bacon superb.

We visited for lunch, as a family with a 2 and 4 year old. They really enjoyed the milkshakes and pancakes but the coffee and small plates (we had shakshuka, chorizo and avocado toast) were all delicious too. Would really recommend for a very reasonable and casual lunch, and the service was great. There is a kids play area downstairs which kept ours entertained, and the staff were lovely. A great spot in Cheltenham.

Went here a few days ago with my mum and it was really nice! I ordered a salted caramel waffle and a strawberry milkshake and she ordered the bacon pancakes, everything was delicious :)

Popped in on a Saturday morning for breakfast. Spotlessly clean and tidy. Friendly, welcoming staff and prompt service. We had waffle with apple and mini pancakes with bacon, all delicious. Dog friendly venue.

I don’t understand the positive reviews. The food is less than average. We ordered pancakes as you would in a Dutch pancake cafe for which the place is famous for. The pancakes were microwaved. Why would you do that to your main product. Is it too much to get fresh pancakes in a pancake cafe?

Enjoyed a lovely waffle & strawberry milkshake. It has a new owner who took it on a few weeks ago. Lovely staff, friendly. Service was speedy even though it was busy.

No better than average. Visited this cafe many times but after this time, I won’t be visiting again. Coffee was acidic and watery, and I even found a hair in my pancakes! No staff around to report it to and lack of cleanliness all around. Sad to see this cafe decline so much over the years!

Me and my daughter visit Boho for a waffle after Dance class about once a month. We were surprised to see new faces running the place! However the service was lovely and they were really happy to change things for my daughter. We are hoping to come back more frequently than before, don’t run out of whipped cream… it’s one of her favourite bits :) Great stuff!

One of the reasons I moved to Cheltenham was the variety of food and cafes. Cafe Boho, tucked away down a side street near Bath Road, is one of them and with its friendly orange decor and a bike in the window was one I wanted to try. Pleased I did. Parked my own bike outside and went in for pancakes with bacon and maple syrup - which were just right - and coffee which was also good. Sat outside which was nice. I would certainly return.

Having tried it I would choose one of the alternatives but pleasant enough in a competitive area for cafes

Ive just had the absolute best waffles with bacon and maple syrup here. The flat white was also really well made, strong coffee and good milk.

Rob is a gem and his waffles and Dutch pancakes are to die for. Totally recommend. Love how he has made it so child friendly (even if mine have grown up). Star!

Went for brunch on Monday, we sat out front with our friends as they had a pram, though there's also a really nice courtyard out back. Was a great brunch, the staff working the Bank Holiday were so nice. Informed us about the options and even gave us some tasters. If i had to provide some constructive feedback, the flat white wasn't quite up to a coffee shops standard, little bit more like a latte. We will be returning very soon... even better as its just around the corner from our place!

Poffertjes and cappuccino excellent. Surprised how close tables were together outside, too close. Also no track and trace which I was surprised about. Will come back, but sit inside, where tables are further apart

Came to Gloucestershire for a little weekend stay-cation, completely spaced about booking a table for somewhere to go for breakfast but happened to drive past the Boho Cafe when finding parking. There were groups of people seated outside, as well as indoors and we were promptly offered a table. The menu had lots of options, including vegetarian/vegan. Once we had ordered, the food and coffees came quickly and everything had been made to order. The staff were very friendly and all had PPE. Would definitely eat here again!

Met our friends for a coffee and a sandwich. Bacon sandwiches and bagels both very good. Very reasonably priced. Owner was very pleasant. The yummy mummies and their children have their own area downstairs - this seemed very popular.

I just ate the most perfect bagel with smoked salmon and cream cheese.

nice bright clean little cafe with indoor and outdoor seating plus an enclosed play area downstairs with more seating for people with young children. My crawler loved it. They have a limited supply of chains to lock your pram outside, but not many so if you have your own it might be useful to bring that. Very tasty brownies, will definitely be coming back.

Amazing coffee really tasty bagels at a great price. The kids play area is brilliant and I had a lovely relaxed lunch with my toddler and baby. Not many places where I can do that. Thanks for the great service too. We will be back.

Exactly as others have said, what a friendly Cafe. The garden seats are secluded and a real sun trap. Great sandwiches, coffee and granola.......wishing the new owners every success and we're planning out return trip......thank you.

Honestly I am so gutted that I don’t live nearer this stunning little cafe. The ladies are fabulously friendly and I felt welcome as soon as I walked in. They treated us as though we had been regulars for years and had so much more personality than many places do nowadays. I had a BLT, my partner had a bacon sandwich and we shared a pot of tea. You may think this isn’t a lot to base a review on but believe me, it was enough. Two of the most delicious sandwiches we have had and you actually got more than one cup each of tea (almost 4 each!) from the pot which in my experience is rare!! The prices were very reasonable so as I went to pay I asked them to keep the change - to which the lady tried to graciously decline! I don’t think I have ever had that happen before!! I couldn’t believe how genuine and down to earth they were when they run such a beautiful little place. We will definitely be returning whenever we can and I will certainly be recommending them to all of our friends that live up in the Suffolks and Montpellier.

Cheltenham is chock full of cafes. Popped into Cafe Boho just because the cakes looked nice. It's a lovely little cafe. With friendly service and a relaxing vibes. Mugs of tea or pots of tea, good cake. Very reasonable prices. Would visit again.

If you want a warm greeting here in Cheltenham then this is a Cafe you should visit. Good basic food, well prepared and served with a welcome to match. There's limited seating both inside and out, but if the sun is shining, this is a spot to visit

When I get taken out by my owner, we always look for a place we can visit and I am welcome for a good cup of coffee. Not all cafes welcome a well behaved spaniel so we often have to walk past in the hope someone realises us canines do like to find some where our owners can enjoy a coffee, have something to eat and meet with their friends. We were lucky today when we came across Cafe Boho and I was delighted when I was bought a slice of doggie cake full of carrots and absolutely yummy. We will certainly visit this delightful cafe again,

We stopped by for a quick bite and coffee. Very pleasant little shop with seating on two levels, as well as outside if you want to brave the spring air. Pain au chocolat is particularly good. Good value.

It was a nice little cafe, and the baristas were fantastic offering a good service and the beverages and food offered was tasty however some one very close to the establishment was very loud and seeming to drag everyone else into her incredible inappropriate and frankly rude conversation of stomach problems describing her medical issues in an open forum and I didn't want to hear this whilst eating my meal despite this everything seemed well and worth a visit. UNLESS SHE'S THERE!! This lady was also being rude to what I assumed as one of the workers in front of customers which is just uncalled for there is also little space in this cafe on a cold day. I could visit again as the food and drink offered was very good especially the paninis

Very casual approach to service. I came at noon and despite being one of only five customers, they took my order and forgot to bring it. They remembered only when everyone except me had left. Not happy at all.

Dog friendly, they brought a treat and small bowl of water for our dog. Nice little cafe, everyone was very friendly, and the sandwiches and tea were very good.

Las momias de cheltenham hyping había sido contar chismes y hasta este café como un destino de niño debido a el área de los niños, pero el chismorreo claramente ha sido iniciada por alguien sin niños. La zona de niños es un hueco donde dos pequeñas no se desplazan los niños pueden jugar. Pero si su niño es de tamaño normal y activo que no cabe en el espacio. Sin embargo, los juguetes son juguetes ir a morir donde! Varios rotos, polvo o anticuado, no un lugar para llevar a los niños.El personal es bueno, aunque un cambio más y falta de comunicación significaba que querían cobrar dos veces aunque este fue resuelto sin problemas. Pero según el área de los niños no volveremos.

A nice place to sit and watch the world go by, and by 'world go by' I mean 'rich people'. Friendly staff, good coffee and a decent bacon sandwich. In fact, I'd go to say better than a decent bacon sandwich, there was half a pig's worth of bacon in it!

Great food and service, the environment is brilliant for studying.

Visitamos aquí por primera vez hoy con un cochecito. El dueño era muy agradable. Teníamos a la parrilla en un halloumi ciabatta tostado glaseado balsámico. Ñam ñam! La selección de tés es increíble. Verde Sencha eligió. Mi compañero tenía zumo rojo sizzler y luego chocolate caliente y un brownie. El bebé nos vimos consumen en delicia. Sin duda volveré de nuevo.
