Top notch 👌 had the haddock and chips and partner had the haggis bon bons. All the food was phenomenal. Can't fault it in the slightest. Place also looks lovely... Service was amazing. Top marks to the waiter 👍

Popped in with mum for tea which turned into lunch after checking out all the other cosy but very cramped places and so glad we did. Spacious, fresh and comfortable and a fantastic lunch. Our server (chap with dredds) made our day with his energy, warmth and kindness, thank you

Café Bella.....the best coffee in Main St by far! Popped in today for a coffee, no food was had, so I can't comment. My partner had cappuccino, I had an americano, we both thought was delicious. The fella running the show, is bursting with positive energy and you feel this when talking to him. Between the positive energy and delicious coffee....we both felt recharged! Give Café Bella a try, you won't be disappointed 10/10

Stopped in with my Dad for a quick meal and drink. Staff were very friendly and service was quick. I opted for an iced latte and the haggis dinner, concisting of deep fried haggis with a side of chips. Haggis was very enjoyable and chips were hot and crispy. The iced latte was also very good. They were playing Michael Jackson when i came in. Got to talking with the gentlemen working there and got a great recomendation on a newer artist with a similar style. All in all, great food and experience! If your in town, give them a try!

AJ our server was fantastic. Brought some fun and entertainment to our experience with his bubbly fun personality. Food was amazingly good value for money and was outstandingly fresh. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

Visited at about 12:15. Asked if the "Breakfast rolls" were still being served and we were met with an extremely rude and quite aggressive response along the lines of "If you want breakfast, get out of bed earlier". 1) Perhaps the idea of all day breakfast hasn't yet reached Inverary but it is certainly "a thing" elsewhere. 2) If you don't want people to ask, make the times the rolls are available clear on the menu (it doesn't say - unlike a cafe up the road from you). 3) Perhaps this is why your "cafe" had nobody at all at the many interior seats and only one person outside (for the hour or so we were around - eating elsewhere) or "If you want to be successful, try being more varied with your menu and listening to what people are asking for". 4) Come what may, there is no need to be downright rude when asked a reasonable question in a friendly manner by a potential customer (who may well have chosen something else if you hadn't been aggressive and rude). 5) If you are looking for lunch in Inverary, give this place a wide berth and go to Campbells Coffee opposite where the friendly staff will serve you with good food at a sensible price. 6) If you're the owner, the male serving on 25/9/24 at lunchtime needs to be "let go". 7) If you were the person concerned, learn some manners.

Called in for coffee and muffins on a rainy late morning. There appeared to be only one staff member and did he work hard! He greeted, seated, took orders and then prepared everything at a frantic pace. Coffee and muffins were good.

Had a lovely experience in this cafe for Lunch. AJ The resident Jolly Soul waiter was in great spirits and treated us very well indeed. Unfortunately the Cafe does not sell sandwiches but we did have the Haddock Special with Chips and I must say it was beautiful.

We just stopped here to get coffee. The guy who was working there was very friendly and very polite. The prices were reasonable.

Terrible customer service by the owner there were 5 of us spent a lot of money there and because some of us were paying by card and some cash he was extremely rude

We had a family catch up today, in this wonderful venue. The very attentive staff member Ajey greeted us promptly, in a friendly manner. The menu was extensive, all of the food ordered and served to our table, was presented beautifully, piping hot and tasted absolutely delicious. We all were in agreeance, that Ajey did an outstanding job and provised us with the level of service that one should expect to receive, when attending a venue for a meal. Ajey served us quick and was hustling around. We told him we only had 30 minutes and he threw our orders in right away. We loved the food. We both had Fish & chips and threw some malt vinegar on the chips. Delicious, quick, and Ajey was hustling! Thank you.

Workers were friendly and nice. Iron bru wasn't on brand and we paid £3.30 for it. Not even a full can's worth. Diet Coke was clearly a fake coke too and it was expensive. (I'm talking like 17p co op cola) Coffees were ok but expensive It's my own fault for not checking the prices but Jesus Christ do not go here! Pick another place!!

Popped in here for fish and chips, and was not disappointed. This place is adjoining to Fyne fish and chips. Had the battered haddock special, which came with chips and a drink for £17.95. The fish was fresh and perfectly cooked in a decent batter. The chips were fine - normal 'chippy' chips. Not at all greasy. Great service, and very quick too. Thoroughly recommend.

We came here specially for fish and chips. Very nice place, but prices are quite high. Around 17 pounds for fish and chips with fizzy drinks. Staff was busy but friendly. Fresh food. We got our order in 10 minutes, so it is quick . It was good enough for me. But my friend is a little disappointed, because he had been before and thought it's was better.

Went in for a quick coffee. Waiter talked to me, disappeared and didn’t come back for 5 minutes. We left.

Atrocious!!! Given the Spanish inquisition before stepping inside, asked what I wanted. Told they don't do pizza but there's pizza on the menu in the window. Disgusting staff stood so close to me his feet touched mine. Extremely aggressive. Disgusting looking atmosphere inside also....like a school canteen with no windows. Also told they don't do takeaway despite piles of takeaway boxes on view. Absolute disgrace. Avoid!!

Amazing fish and chips. Fresh, tasty, hot and quite well priced. The waiter was friendly and chatty without being over the top. It's not cheap but you definitely get what you pay for.

We enjoyed our meal at coffee Bella. My wife had the carrot soup and I had the chicken pakora. The food and service were very good,, but what amazed us the most was watching our waiter support the entire dining room - waiting tables, bussing tables and everything else that needed to be done!! We asked the gentleman his name and he said Ajey. Well, IMHO, Ajey needs more help, and probably more money!

Shout out to our new friend AJ at Cafe Bella in Inverary! While on a UK vacation blitz through England, Wales, and Scotland we were on the hunt for the best Victoria Sponge. Cafe Bella wins hands down! Great atmosphere, great food, and even greater people. Thanks AJ!

Just back from a 2 night stay in Inverary and had drinks and cake in Cafe Bella on both days. AJ was friendly and welcoming. The meals also looked lovely and good value. Will definitely pop in when I'm next in Inverary.

Spending a couple of days in Inveraray, popping for a cuppa, AJ, was very pleasant,lovely coffee and the best on tap Ginger beer, so good back the next day, as very pleasant..

Wonderful place to eat.nicely furnished table arrangements,perfect spacing of tables for customers divided by flower border.lovely pale yellow ceramic teacups and plates goes well with caramel wood tables,good tea in pot,fish full fat flakes in delightful golden batter,chips crisp yet fluffy.generous portion.cooked to perfection. Served by AJ a good humoured attentive, efficient host made most welcome.toilets easy to find and fresh clean .Worth the amount paid for the memory of quality meal.i think you'd enjoy it too.

Had a dreadful visit to Cafe Bella. The waiter was far too talkative but somehow unhelpful at the same time. Despite what appeared to be a comprehensive kitchen the waiter said they were unable to toast a scone. I had soup instead, it was flavourless, watery and served with half! of a roll. A flat refusal to split the bill was the final insult. I’m sure there are better places in Inveraray to spend your money.

Super fast, super delicious, super fresh! Just finished the tour at Inverary Castle, and spotted the sign for “Fish and Chips” as the bus headed to the parking lot. We were looking forward to our first Scotland fish and chips, and we weren’t disappointed! I don’t think 10 people have ever been served so quickly! And it was fresh and hot! Highly recommend!

Having been travelling the Scottish Highlands for 4 days I had yet to find a decent cup of coffee until today! Beautiful freshly ground strong coffee served by AJ whose customer service is an asset to Café Bella. The Victoria sponge cake was delicious and came with cream and syrup served with panache. Highly recommended 👏👏👏

Nice little caffe in beautiful Inveraray! We stopped in for coffee and a piece of carrot cake. We were between lunch and dinner, so the menu was limited. But the window table was prime, and AJ made us hot drinks to drive off the chill of March!

We went into the café hungry. Having driven for a few hours to get there, we wanted something light for lunch. Not a blow-out meal. Luckily walked in here and AJ served us. He was super nice and even made us something from the breakfast menu which was great. It was absolutely the perfect thing we needed. He was a very nice chap and delivered our food quickly. Would come back again if we revisit Inveraray.

Popped in for a scone and coffee - both were excellent. 15 minutes later I met up with the family and guided back in for haddock and chips. The best piece of fish I’ve ever tasted and the batter was to die for. Well done AJ. I’ll be back for the curry nights even though it’s a 200 miles round trip.

The tea and coffee was ok but the service was terrible. The waiter kept trying to persuade us to eat there, he grabbed a fork out of my nephew’s hand and the toilets were disgusting. He then refused to do separate payments when the bill came and was very rude about it. Won’t ever go back and I definitely don’t recommend this place.

Wonderful fresh Haddock and Chips, chunky fresh fish fillet, light golden batter, tasty chips, happy polite and friendly staff, great atmosphere. If you are visiting Inveraray I would definitely recommend this sit down Fish and Chip Shop. Big shout out for Ajay and the team. Great experience.

When visiting Inverary, we stopped for morning coffee only!... but the array of sandwich cakes was amazing. The Victoria Sandwich cake was so light and delicious (we wished we lived nearby). The service was attentive and cheerful. Thank you, Ajey. Mary and John.

Rude person serving, sharp and no time for customers, not welcoming and off hand, better not be in the trade than plain rude. Plenty of other places to eat in Inveraray that are grateful for the business and are a pleasure to visit. Not recommend in the slightest.

Entramos aquí a comer y el simpático camarero (que parece el propietario, y que es un poco estresante) nos recomendó fish and chips. Estuvo francamente bien. Local sencillo y ruidoso, sin lujos, pero perfecto para reponer fuerzas en Inveraray. El café espresso también recomendable.

Very slow service, when the simple order of 2 teas and 2 slices of cake was finally delivered we only got one slice and was told to share while he served newcomers. To top it the bill was extortionate. £17.70p. Go anywhere else but here!

Worst fish and chips ever. We couldn't finish our plates, greasy haddock and chewy chips. According to the waiter it was the best option!! A bottle of water was included but it disappeared before we left. Very short menu with many options unavailable. I wouldn't recommend it to my friends.

Worst coffee ever! Ordered a flat white and was given a lava temperature, bitter coffee which was one shot coffee (yes i asked) and 90%milk (which was burnt) dont waste your time…the man put zero effort into the coffee and couldn’t care less and when I enquired about the coffee he gave me which was nothing even close to a flat white

I called in here yesterday with my grandson to buy a bottle of water. I was asked for £2.90 for a small bottle of water. Needless to say I didn't buy it. I crossed the road into an ice cream shop to buy one but they didn't sell them. However, the young man serving asked if he could give us a glass of tap water with ice in it.....free of charge! What a completely different experience of kindness and not motivated by greed.

Incredibly friendly and accommodating staff, who were clearly very busy but dealing with it well. Fish did taste fantastic. Only lost a star as menu was reduced at time we visited.

Top place to eat at Inveraray on the Main Street. Called in today and had a couple of small meals. I can confirm the soup was delicious and the chicken nuggets were a very nice treat. Great value and friendly service from AJ, keep up the good job mate

Excellent customer service, very welcoming and very efficient. The lads made us feel very welcome the food was amazing I recommend the haddock and chips. Another plus was the cafe being dog friendly as is most of Inveraray, forward thinking by this restaurant 5 stars guys.

Walked in on a summers day and was very happy we did. A limited menu but very well presented in a good atmosphere with attentive staff. Would visit again if in the area.

AJ and his colleagues were really helpful and friendly. I came in from the heat with my dog who needed to rest in the shade for a while and had a lovely scone and coffee while the dog cooled down. Last time we were here, a few years ago, they were just as friendly.

We popped in to Caffe Bella for a coffee before visiting the castle. Just have to say that the coffee was the best we have tasted in our month in Scotland. The service from both Ajey and Chloe was absolutely lovely. They were both really busy but took the time to be extremely friendly and welcoming. Thanks guys, keep up the great work.

Stopped in Inveraray on the way to Campbeltown. It was a bit early for lunch service but Ajey was happy to offer us bacon rolls, tea and coffee which really hit the spot.

Si l’accueil était correct au premier abord mes amis écossais ont été extrêmement agacés par le manque d’attention concernant leur plats. Ayant précisé 4 fois qu’ils voulaient leur bacon rolls grillés ils furent dépités , constatant que le bacon était à peine cuit. J’avais demandé un scone (ce que j affectionne particulièrement ayant vécu en Écosse et pu tester à Édimbourg leur qualité . Quelle ne fut pas ma surprise , voir ,ma consternation quand ayant enfourné une bouchée, je ne pouvais plus ouvrir la bouche, tellement la matière collée à mon palais.! un amas de farine, agglutinée. cela ressemblait à tout, sauf un scone digne de ce nom Il semblerait que le propriétaire de Dieu ne soit pas conscient des nouveaux réseaux sociaux qui contribue à la réputation d’un établissement. Il s’autorise donc à donner n’importe quoi aux touristes qui s’arrêtent par hasard chez lui. ! Donc nous ne lui souhaitons pas une bonne continuation !

Went a drive on a beautiful Saturday from paisley and dropped into caffe Bella and we had battered haddock with chips, the food was outstanding and our server, who never stopped, Ajey, completed the experience with his amazing hospitality. Gem of a guy and a true asset to the business.

Very rarely complain but this was the worst fish and chips I’ve had in a long time and we eat it lots. Haddock itself tasted okay, but batter soft and greasy and undercooked. Tried to tell manager and he walked away, which says everything about this establishment. Husbands fish and one of the two kids was okay so very variable. Paying 16 pounds for poor fish and chips is what we got. I’d rather pay more and go to one of the other places nearby. Also no kids menu so our 8 year old had to get an adults meal.

Stumbled on Cafe Bella while looking for some lunch and just beat the coach party. The waiter was very welcoming despite being run off his feet. The menu is a little limited but the food is good. My son had the sausage supper which was enormous but he demolished it. The haddock was also enormous and delicious. My wife has the soup of the day and that too was excellent. Despite the endless stream of customers, the staff were friendly and the service was very good. They had however run out of mushy peas which I thought was impossible...! Nevertheless, a lovely lunch.

Really noisy cafe, food was average and quite expensive. Waiter was running around frantically which was a bit off-putting!

Rolls were like hamburger buns ,tea was weak and lukewarm and to add injury to insult they charged £1.50 for a glass of tap water. Service was less than adequate, overly cocky Englishman and surly Glaswegian. Would not ever go there again.

A must visit place for food and drinks. Had a delicious hot chocolate with cream, comes with a biscuit on the side. Beautiful and clean cafe with very friendly staff. Had take away chips from fyne fish and chip shop next day, owned by same gentleman. Thoroughly recommend both businesses. Such a treat. Make it a must see on your itinery if you are in the area!!

If on your coach tour in Inverary, or your own tour in fact, you must definitely stop off in Cafe Bella. That was the best haddock we’ve ever had. And super friendly service as well

Great little place. Had a ploughman’s - which could have been better with better bread (homemade or artisan would be much better than the bake at home style baguette) and a regular egg rather than a weird red slightly pickled one. Coffee was outstanding though and cake - I had a giant slice of warm Bramley pie (apple and berries) with a dollop of cream - all of which was to die for.
