Café Beirut in Guildford

Had intended to go to Wisley , but bus driver said today i have drop you all in Ripley High Street. there is shuttle bus to Wisley. No Shuttlebus , and a number of foreign visitors from Guildford were also stranded,.

We called into this cafe today as we have connections with Beirut. We were welcomed by Tony. The food was just as we remembered on our visit to Beirut especially the coffee which was especially made for us as we reminisced about our experience all those years ago even though it was not obviously on the menu. They hope to have a alcohol license soon so a definite visit again.

This was our first visit but certainly won’t be our last. I had heard that the cafe was really good and so wanted to try it. We were welcomed at the door with an immediate offer to make us a large table (7 of us) and it was no problem that we had a dog with us. The food was delicious and plentiful; we had the mezze which was freshly prepared and served with a smile by the super friendly owners. Great coffee and hot chocolate as well. We stayed for a couple of hours and were not rushed even though the cafe was busy and full. We look forward to coming back!

This cafe was excellent. Great service and wonderful food. The decor was very pleasant and I would recommend it. The sign said fresh chips although I suspect they were fresh from the freezer. The wraps were delicious though!

Very friendly staff with delicious Lebanese food. Everything tasted amazing and the people working there were so kind with my child who doesn’t like trying different things. We ended up in Ripley trying to avoid M25 and was a hundred percent better than service station food. We’ll definitely be back.

Great coffee, lovely fresh food, wraps etc. The service is always efficient and friendly. A lovely coffee shop which we go to regularly.

Delicious, fresh food. We couldn’t decide what to order so the owner recommended a few dishes. They were amazing. We will definitely be back.

Not even had the food but the staff are so nice and friendly I’d just go in for a chat Can confirm the coffee is as lovely as the staff though!

Absolutely fantastic! I’m not normally a coffee snob, coffee to me is often just coffee, but boy was it great here… Will definitely be back for lunch.

Came here for a quick coffee and breakfast, absolutely delicious and superb coffee, staff were very welcoming and accommodating! Thank you Cafe Beirut ❤

Unfortunately, we don’t think we caught them on a good day! Asked to move from a table for four (we were a two) which is fair enough, but then a single customer sat there and was left to enjoy their drink without issue - irksome. Genuinely felt like the waiting staff were annoyed to serve coffee and the ordered light snack. We live Lebanese dishes and were keen to try the classic falafel. However these were, fairly average, not freshly made and simply warmed up in the microwave. We were disappointed with the whole experience and couldn’t wait to get out - which was such a shame!

Wow oh wow.....I walked into this coffee shop which is actually a Resturant...the smell of good food pulled me in...all I wanted was a cappichino... Now this cuppichino was very different to other cappichino....it was simply the best cappichino ever....made with love and the best beans... when I say the best I mean the best...I have had lots of cappichino during my 70yrs but wow it was great...the service was fast and efficient lovely atmosphere In the coffee shop....great place to be..... Went here after a local walk and found the staff very friendly and accommodating, dog 🐕 friendly which was a bonus. Staff were very good with COVID safety. The Lebanese food was just a delight, so fresh and tasty. The prices were very reasonable, overall well worth a visit.

Early stop-off for refreshment, knowing it was worth leaving the M25 to cut through to this oasis. Parking directly outside will prove challenging but a short walk heightens the desire for coffee, which is as good as I have had anywhere! Lots of attention to...

4 of us booked a table and enjoyed an early lunch here. Really nice place to be, clean, staff were fabulous. If you want to eat Lebanese this is your place x I I will have to go back just to pick up the baklava...

I use a four wheeled rollator so I rang the previous day to ask if I could have help to lift my rollator over the two steps outside the cafe. The gentleman who answered the phone was very friendly. This cafe was previously a pharmacy...

New favourite café in Ripley. Stopped here as other places were busy. This is bigger and better laid out than most, and looked inviting with a few customers. Superb good quality and quantity of coffee, and a lovely Chicken Wrap. Friendly efficient service.
