Amazing Breakfast, highly recommended!

Big fan of Beam. I actually find it hard to go elsewhere now! Very brief wait, if any, to get a table even on a Saturday. The staff are always very pleasant and friendly, and their Mediterranean breakfast is now my favourite brunch anywhere. Would also highlight their Turkish eggs. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a brunch spot in North London.

LOVE,LOVE,LOVE this place!! is arguably my favourite breakfast/brunch place of all time. Delicious, quick, super friendly staff, we would be every week here if we could. Don’t hesitate to come, just be aware of the massive queues at peak times.. price of success I guess, they definitely deserve it!!

My favourite coffee ship on town!

I’ve been coming to this cafe for three years now, and I’m honestly surprised I’ve never left a review before! Every single time I visit, the food is consistently excellent. The standards here are so reliable, and the quality never wavers. The service is always great, and the staff are incredible. The waiters are friendly, patient, and especially good with kids. It’s clear that the restaurant takes care of their team because I’ve noticed they’ve had the same staff for years, which is rare in the restaurant business. The place is always spotless, and the atmosphere is lovely. The food is fantastic, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and welcoming place to eat. A huge thank you to the entire team for all the hard work you put into making every visit such a great experience!

Beam is a fantastic cafe with top-notch coffee, a standout Mediterranean breakfast, and a delicious grilled chicken salad. Their chicken burger is also a must-try. The cozy atmosphere makes it a great spot to relax or get some work done with your laptop. It’s often busy, but if you time your visit right, it’s perfect. Friendly staff round out the experience. Highly recommended!

The food and ambiance here is excellent! We went with our pup, so had to sit outside in winter. Would be great if they could add the pet friendliness info on their page here. Beam shows up as a pet friendly spot, but isn’t one.

Perfect brunch, the menu is great, good coffee and great environment. Never queued more than 10 minutes for a table either.

We came for lunch at a really busy time but the team were really slick at finding tables for a whole range of groups from 1 to 7. The service was friendly, fast and really helpful. Food was delicious and the team were all really great fun and super kind to my 9 year old twins. We’ll definitely be back!

My favourite breakfast spot in this neighbourhood! It gets very busy on weekends after 11am but if you have to wait it’s always worth it. The coffee is great, service is always warm and friendly and the food is delicious with generous portion sizes! I always bring friends and family here when they visit London.

This is just the best cafe in town! The food is so fresh and tasty. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. They don’t give you the feeling like you must immediately leave straight after you’ve finished like other restaurants.

Still my favourite brunch places in Crouch End ( my local) but after visiting the Highbury branch I can confirm the service is a million times better there. The food is great at both branches but it is the service and cramped conditions which I feel can let this brunch staple down. You typically have to queue for a table and it is full of loud, noisy people with dogs or yummy mummies who have nothing better to do in their lives than bring their screaming children to disrupt our relaxing brunch dates! Service is very good despite it being a very busy and can be chaotic branch. I order typically the Turkish Eggs and the Beam Benedict and the food is the highlight of the place - generous portion sizes, high quality ingredients and full of flavour. Perfect poached eggs in a garlic yoghurt with the right amount of chilli. Depending when visiting sometimes food can be overcooked which is not great but usually the food is always good. We do visit Beam often because we enjoy the interior design and food but I think this Beam should just have a kid friendly section to improve atmosphere

I had a fantastic brunch at Beam. The flavours were bursting with freshness, and the staff was incredibly attentive.

I can’t say enough good things about Beam’s food and staff. I’ve come here for lunch 3-4 times a week, every week for the last six months and not once had an unfriendly member of staff, a bad meal or waited ages for my food (even when it’s packed). I couldn’t pick a favourite waiter / waitress because they’re all so friendly. I recommend the Halloumi Wrap. Oh, and good luck trying to finish the Vegetarian Breakfast if you’ve eaten within the last four hours.

Go here every few weeks for lunch during the weekends. you can't reserve but there is usually isn't that long of a wait to get in. great coffee, tasty food and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Menu has a nice mix of light Mediterranean style dishes mixed with stuff like the grilled chicken burger 🤩, various wraps, pancakes, salads and of course the all day full English breakfast for when you just need some bacon, sausage and hash browns ** Side note** they did get rid of the club sandwich off their menu which was my absolute favourite and I was tempted to give 4 stars for this alone but as this is probably my favourite place for breakfast, brunch and lunch they more than earn that extra star! Highly recommend a visit

We love this place but you really need to choose your time to come carefully - one side of the place is very loud/echoey… can hardly hear each other speak. Derive is always impeccable though!

I'm not sure if the owners have changed but the food was very average. The coffees are small compared to other places and all of them were lukewarm. Service is also a bit slow. Not as good as it used to be.
