What a lovely idea to have a cafe in one of the e used transepts. Nice menu. Interesting surroundings, thoughtful provision of a play space for small children. But a problem with the till meant we waited over twenty minutes for tea for four which came as tea for two and even longer for lunchtime snacks, which included a cold sausage roll which should've been hot and only one portion of soup instead of two. It's probably much better normally but we almost had to go and re park the car!

Marvelous full off character and characters,staff great ,got. My pint brought to my table was Guinness so a bit of time to pour and all this before 11am 😀

86-88 High StreetCheap btls of beer Quite busy for a Monday night so bit of a buzz b atmosphere Has pool table, £5 deposit and £1 per game Friendly staff Overall I couldn't fault. Does what it says on the tin 😁
