The cafe is set in a lovely church and recently we have been in for coffee and cakes. The cakes are well made but they are the same every day, week.... It gets boring having the same choice especially when one of our party is gluten free. They've sold the same chocolate brownie for years. Variety is the spice of life they say, maybe Bill's kitchen should consider that?

We had the most delicious lunch here today, the best flavoursome quiche I have had in ages, along with the ratatouille salad, which was perfect. Michael had the Spicey Mexican Chicken with rice that he loved. Finished off with two delicious looking cakes and a lovely cappuccino, and a latte. The surroundings are charming, as are all the staff, we will be back.

I have been a regular customer since Bill’s opened in All Saints, Hereford. Maybe not for much longer, find the portions are now much smaller these days , plus dishes not what they used to be, my husband had the beef and there were several large lumps of inedible fat in it ! I had the gratin just disappointed, also the prices have risen dramatically! I know sign of the times but a light lunch now £14.50 ! plus a drink needs to be better.

The food and service here used to be second to none but we were faced with a poor selection that did not look fresh and appetising, the waitress eating behind the counter and struggled to get anyone to serve. This is not how this used to be - has there been a change in management ?

We had soup and mains. It was Very expensive: a small pea soup and tiny roll was £7. My Tofu salad was tiny, just one desert spoon each of two salads and three small slices of tofu was £9, there were no salad leaves and it looked more of an expensive starter than a main. My husband had venison and mushroom pie. It came with 6 tiny pieces of roast potato and a minuscule portion of salad leaves and cost £14. We were still hungry after paying £37 for lunch for two people. The quality of the ingredients was great and everything tasted delicious but we won’t go back as we both had to go out and eat bags of crisps to fill up. Incidentally, we then went to Hereford cathedral where the cafe there does a massive plate of salads for just £5! Or Quiche and salads for £7. Oh how we wish that we had eaten at the cathedral.

Went to Bills kitchen as we normally do when we visit Hereford. On this rainy Saturday it was a good idea again. Ordered two small coffees and sausage bap. Told the girl on the till no butter. (I like them better that way. The sausages are delicious). However when our order arrived the coffee was distinctly Luke warm and the bap had butter on it. Would have visited the till but a queue was in place. Just thought you guys should know not up to the usual brilliant standard. Still ate the bap though.

We ordered the curry; which seemed to be vegan by default ... and although the food was reasonably tasty, the portions were stingy at best. £12 for a flat soup bowl of rice and curry. A shame as this place used to be great for vegans; now not much to choose from. There are other places in Hereford where you can get a good sized vegan main dish for around £8 and just as tasty or better. Counter service only. Tables don't appear to be cleaned in between customers with lots of dishes sitting on empty tables.

This is the first time we've been back to Bill's in All Saints since before Lockdown. The price for one full breakfast, one sausage bap, a tea, a coffee and two small brownies was £31. I assumed this was the new going rate (cost of living crisis, etc) but OH thought it was steep. We were too early for lunch (so I didn't take note of the prices for those meals on the menus posted by the serving area) but the choice of dishes on offer after 11:30am looked good. The food we *did* have today was excellent, and there was plenty of it. There were three very tasty sausages in my breakfast bap, and the bacon on OH's meal was lovely and crispy. The service was quick and cheerful. All hail the young woman clearing tables—how she scampers up and down those horrible open-backed stairs leading to the upper floor all day I'll never know! NB: Make sure you get your receipt—it has a code on it to allow you to use the toilets.

I really like this place. Food and location are really good. Very nice upstairs area. Only criticism is the prices: £7.50 for a bacon butty is pushing it and the rest of the food, which is nice - but it’s still a hot plate - is getting on silly prices. I’d be interested to see what the equivalent costs are in other places around there. Sorry to be a grinch - still highly recommend

This place has been going for 25 years and Hereford is fortunate to have it. The church setting gives it spectacular architecture - don’t miss the naughty medieval carving upstairs - and a lively community spirit. I entered (wrongly) via a Christmas card stall and listened to carols from a school choir while eating eggy bread with Tudge’s bacon and maple syrup. Heavenly. Unique. Can’t fault it.

The menu was quite varied and contained a good range of meat and vegetarian mains and salads, as well as yummy looking cakes and desserts. Definitely recommend - people (locals and visitors) were queueing to get, but actually you didn't have to wait long. What a great way to find alternative uses for a working church. The wooden and metal structure that has been inserted inside the church to create the kitchen and cafe is ingenious - outstanding design - and it still leaves a large proportion of the church to be used respectfully and effectively for church services.

Visited as recommended by TIC One adult high allergy to GARLIC. Sadly all foods on offer at lunchtime had garlic added. Staff helpful and made a smoked salmon salad with rosemary potatoes. Tagine was heavenly! Friendly staff and noted how caring they were to older, disabled and families with young children, offering to bring food to the tables, water jugs etc. Food good quality but need a little assistance with regard to people with allergies and intolerance. E.G. staff suggested a quiche with pesto added - the customer had a garlic allergy - pesto contains garlic. Disappointed that all foods contained garlic. Been a while since I ate here so it was nice to be reminded how good this cafe is - Illy Coffee, lovely homemade lemon and blueberry cake and a ham & coleslaw roll. All were superb. Friendly service, nice seating outside to watch the World walk by. Everything is fresh and reasonably priced. It is a nice central place to grab anything from a quick coffee to a substantial hot meal.

This church underwent a,big renovation in the 1990's and reopened as a cafe, a communal hub and still has services along with war memorials and church architecture. It has blended the old and the new with great thought. The brochure about the church is superb and just fifty pence and they're are other brochures to peruse too. The cafe menu is varied and the interior clean and well laid out. It's worth a visit if you want some ideas about what to do with a redundant church.

Cannot recommend this charming pub / restaurant highly enough. I had the best Stilton and brocolli soup I've ever had and the atmosphere was very warm and welcoming. The owners were incredibly kind and helped me out when I got stranded in a flood.

Food was lovely, the naans were really nice and fluffy, all the dishes ordered were enjoyed by everyone, they seemed short staffed which was a shame as service was affected but staff member was very polite and doing his best.
