Cafe and Filling Station in Eilean Siar

Travelling the island we popped into Uig and had a coffee, sandwich and cake at the cafe/deli at the service station. We have got used to the prices being a bit more and had a nice lunch. Looked like a lot of ferry travellers use it and the shop next door.

Llegamos temprano para coger el ferry y queríamos salir de la lluvia. Fuera parece para nada ostentoso, al lado de la gasolinera, pero es cálida y acogedora, venden algunos libros sobre temas locales, y tuvimos un buen café y desayuno durante todo el día, y curry de verduras. Había sándwiches. La chica que servía era amable y servicial si prisa fuera de sus pies, y la comida estaba bien. Como es bastante amplio, noté que había mucho espacio para personas con mochilas para ponerlas.

Este lugar es un poco básico, pero la comida lo compensa. Fuimos para la ensalada de cangrejo y mejillones en salsa blanca. Ambas eran excelentes y cocinado a la perfección. Recomendaría este lugar para los amantes de los mariscos.

Bonito, limpio y agradable por dentro. El personal es amable. La mujer me comí un sándwich que venía con una ensalada de lado había pescado y patatas fritas, también muchas fichas. tanto las agradables y la relación calidad-precio. No volvería, probablemente.

El café no es realmente una cafetería en la que sólo se puede conseguir un té o café de máquina de servicio. Pero los enemigos de lugar ofrecen la oportunidad de volver en una amplia gama de artículos esenciales.

Nice little cafe just opposite the pier/ferry boarding location in Uig. Pleasant staff with the lady who prepared the meals coming out for a chat. Good food, in fact the soup of the day was excellent, extremely fresh bread. Not fancy, but very good cafe meal.

Stopped for quick take away lunch on the way to Bernaray. Soup fantastic, sandwiches average, sausage and chips good. Will be stopping for breakfast on our return. The chart goes from average to very good, I think it good, better than average

The value and the friendliness, and the Post Office! It's a little gem for travellers!Greta value in the small shop, which also doubles as a very comfortable cafe (comfortable seating, and newspapers!)" A veritable gathering place. I brought back a pot of venison pate, and a huge slice of cake, this time. The service is swift, and the ferry just a minute away. What more can you wish for?
