Cafe Alexander in Trafford

Called yesterday with 2 friends, first time after lockdown, asked could we sit in the garden at the back, the back was an absolute disgrace, chairs filthy tables filthy benches filthy, nothing at all done there in lockdown, sat at the front on a table for 4, got our drinks, only one cake and one stale scone left, never ever go there again, should not be in business, disgusting

I’d be embarrassed to own this place, poor food, poor service, average price, over heard maybe owner? (Lots of jail house tattoos) swearing loudly behind the counter at his phone while my children ate a sandwich! Wish I’d not stopped on my way through Surprised places like this still exist, shiney on the outside, 1970s on the inside

Exploramos la zona, vimos el cartel de cafe y a tomarnos una copa. Gran error. Nos sentimos como si estuviéramos en el camino, las dos mujeres 'trabajando' parecía estar más interesado en su conversación y sus dispositivos de corriente un café acogedor. Tuve un té que estaba bien y que era un bollo tan seca que se caían a pedazos, como traté de mantequilla. Mi esposa preguntó acerca de gluten y me dieron un no brusco con sugerencias o disculpas así ella tenía la mitad de una taza de café bastante pobre. Me pregunto por qué no ha habido comentarios de este lugar durante nueve meses? No les inquietante de nuevo.

Mi marido es discapacitado y tratamos de conseguir en por lo menos dos veces a la semana, en el hospital, pero todavía estoy yendo. La comida es de buena calidad, buenas porciones de tamaño y todo muy limpio y ordenado. El personal es muy dispuesto a ayudar, me encantaría recomendar este café encantador a todo el mundo, me voy mañana y largo puede continuar este café, gracias por toda su ayuda. xx

Llamado para el desayuno para evitar a los servicios de la autopista monotonía alta alarmó razonables. La cafetería está limpio y luminoso básico se puede ver la comida recién preparada.relación calidad-precio es excelente servicio rápido y amable.pagaría más para salchichas de la misma calidad que el resto del abundante desayuno 5 minutos de la autopista millas más altos en apelación

We have recently moved house so this is now our local cafe. We called in for a panini and cup of tea and were greeted with a friendly smile from the staff. The food was great and decent portions as well as great value. There is a gift shop attached to the cafe selling good quality products too. We are looking forward to returning!

Stopped of for a breakfast when in the area and was not disappointed,nice and hot and one of the best breakfasts I have had in ages.The staff are friendly and the food is good value,will call again ::-)

Stopped for Lunch here after visiting the Shop next door and was pleasantly surprised. Two Ladies behind the counter very friendly and welcoming. Great Panini and chips and a lovely salad to accompany it. a Cup of decent coffee and we left. Would definitely visit again. Seems very popular with the Local which is always a good sign.

Go here quiet regularly for breakfast, full English is great, good value for money, and always served quick, great service :)

Never been here before, went for breakfast and can't fault it! Woman on her own there who did everything from serve us to cook our breakfast, she did very well considering she was on her own! From one of the last reviews saying tea did not come in a pot...it did. Lovely little shop next door to it too with lots of lovely gifts for all occasions. Will most definitely return for maybe a lunch next time.

I ordered poached egg/toast. Classic cafe food, I specifically asked for butter on the toast;I got thick globs of margarine slopped on plastic white bread topped with two white mounds resembling eggs. Overcooked. So annoyed,how can a cafe not make a quality poached egg? It is frustrating to pay for such low quality food and production. Note: I did not send back the food or discuss with staff due to my mother (for some inexplicable reason) being a regular visitor. I really must love my mother.

Having ordered two Paninis, one with salad and a pot of tea for two. Had such a wait that two customers finished their full fry-ups before paninis had been started to be cooked. Friends of the cook had arrived after we had finished our pot of tea and had been served. When we asked when paninis were coming, told about to be cooked. Asked to cancel paninis and just pay for the tea, told by the cook that they had been started and I WILL PAY FOR THEM. When reminded the time it has taken I was angrily told, " DO YOU THINK I'M JUST STANDING HERE DOING NOTHING, I'M BUSY." Pointing around at empty tables he continued. " IT,S BUSY IN HERE. " Apart from those outside who had been served, only four people in the café. The two who had finished their fry-ups, myself and the person with me. This man needs anger management! That's why I've put the service as terrible, not that the waitress was bad, she was pleasant and agreed with the above statement about the cooks anger. So if you are not family or friends, don't go to the Café Alexander on a bank holiday. If you do, you will have a wait! Ill never go again.

This is the 4th time we have visited this café whilst visiting the hospital down the road. My wife and I both had breakfast which was brilliant and out of this world, it came piping hot and the owner could not do enough for you I don't like beans or tomatoes but offered other items. Black pudding is the best I've ever tasted thank you. Have recommended this café to friends and family great value for money.

A nice cafe but the food was an undercooked pannini with a limp salad. So basically, £4 for a stale ham and cheese roll.

amazing food an very friendly staff really enjoyed eating there would recomend to everyone its child friendly an has many options on the menu . the little shop next door is very interesting too

What can i say about Cafe Alexander... well fantastic food and well worth every penny. Friendly staff with Shane (the owner) and his wife Shauni being helpful in every way. Food was delicious and value for money and will be going back for sure, have told all my friends about it .
