What a great motor museum this is! It has a great back story and brilliantly timed lines automotive history! Well priced and very enjoyable!

Great day out, lots of great iconic cars even seen a few of my all times favourites and also got to see wee Oliver in the flesh! Cafe was great excellent gluten free options cafe staff and reception staff where amazing the only reason I am not giving it a five star was due to one of the museum volunteers was very rude telling us you can’t drink in the museum even though there is no signs and when we where leaving the staff told us that wasn’t the case.

Excellent museum with an incredible collection of cars. My wife and I spent the best part of three hours looking around even though neither of us are really petrolheads. The staff are welcoming and knowledgeable and happy to offer additional insights about the cars without being overbearing. The ticket is valid for a year, which is a nice bonus.

Visited for a work christmas party. The food was great and the staff were helpful too

I visited The Museum on Monday whilst I was Staying locally overnight. The Museum is one of the Best places to visit if you like cars and you are a petrol Head like me. Cafe on site is perfect, nice , clean hot snacks And fairly priced. The Museum has some of the best motor vehicles In history and you need to spend a good day here and revisit to fully appreciate it. A really interesting museum with a huge selection of cars, if you're into vintage cars you will definitely enjoy it! The volunteers are all very knowledgeable on the collection and very happy to talk with you and answer questions! The café was reasonably priced and the tea was nice, the staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back as misjudged how long it would take us to get round and only got about halfway it was so interesting!

Very cool place for car enthusiasts. Great collection of cars. Only thing is i wish it would be more engineering/mechanic related rather than "just" a collection of cars. Haynes manuals have always been about DIY and fixing things. Feel like there needs to be some reference to the manuals. Some more interactive elements. Overall, a great day out and free visits for a year for £20 is excellent. Food is pretty decent too, if anything a little limited on choice. Does the job for a cafe though. The Phat Cornish Pasties are delicious, but "mcdonalds apple pie" level hot 😂

Saw the museum advertised on social media and so two of us took a trip down there yesterday. Even though I had briefly seen a list of cars on display, I was very impressed and pleasantly surprised with as to how much was there. The museum takes you through the whole history and there is so much to see for all the family.

Had a fantastic here with my daughter. Got to be one of the best car museums I've ever visited. The staff and volunteers are very friendly and informative. Everything is very clean and well maintained. Would highly recommend. I grow up with Haynes manuals and it was great to see the history behind them.

Wow ,what a place it's a must for everyone, if you're going by go and visit

Beautiful cars and beautiful history. Saw a lot of models that I had never heard of or even seen. Beautifully decorated and a relaxing environment. Absolutely recommended, even for non-car enthusiasts.

Car history at its very best. Worth stopping even if you’re just passing through and like to look at shiny fast things that brighten the day and that’s just the carpark. A true motoring fans day out. All bar the motorcycle display is on the ground floor elevator to second floor display of two wheeled fast machine if needed. Cafe on site, play area for children (car themed, except nothing less). Great experience every time.

Great visit, friendly staff, and plenty to see. Totally recommend to anyone who has an interest in cars. A fantastic day out here.

What a Great Place to visit. It was a fantastic trip through the years of motoring with some very rare and lovely machinery to view all backed up with some information Particularly enjoyed the Williams racing exhibition. Finally a good value cafe for coffee and cake etc...

The museum is clean and the cars are well laid out but the majority of the exhibition is American cars. Had I known this I wouldn't have wasted the time or money on the trip. Spent less than an hour looking at the UK market cars.

A great day out. We enjoyed all the exhibits and great cars. The tickets are valid for a year so we'll definitely visit again. The cafe can be accessed without going into the museum so ideal if you're passing and fancy a brew. Brilliant.

Great time at the museum. Really nice little cafe with friendly staff. As we walked around the museum we got to chat to some of the staff who were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The location of the museum is lovely and everything looked so smart and well kept. Definitely recommend visiting.

Really good selection of beauties on display, all the way from a Model T to some modern classics and everything in-between! Fantastic Museum and will be returning!

Cool cars abound right from the Model T through retro American 50s Grease lightning style numbers, British retros (yes there is a mini, muscles cars and some Italian stallions. F1 fans (and particularly Williams fans) won't be disappointed. A great venue for a large number of vehicles, motorbikes and bikes. My favourtite was a Mr M Schumacher's first Ferrari! Plenty of parking, an onsite cafe and play area for the kids. Ticket prices are what they are but also allow u to go year round. Go kart track next door for those who want to try their skills following a bit of inspiration. I had a great walk around even after losing my shirt due to the great gift shop at the end! If staying in the area be sure to check out the Fleet Air Arm Museum.

What a fantastic day out. Lots to see and some very unexpected and unusual exhibits. Spent almost the whole day and could have stayed longer. Staff and volunteers very friendly and helpful. Great experience for all whether you a car nut or not!

Absolutely brilliant museum, we were blown away by the cars and the overall museum experience. If you like cars, this is the place to visit.

Absolutely loved visiting this place, I drove 5 hrs there and back and I think it was worth it, at least for me. It's a beautifully clean, modern building. The layout is easy to navigate and has themed areas, Morris, British 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s cars, Red sports cars, racing cars, muscle cars, huge American land yachts, Ferrari, important European cars and more. And when I was there it had a small Drive Tribe area with 4 cars and some videos to watch, explaining the cars. I missed the live vehicle display, so I can't comment on that. I was pleased to find the ticket I bought is an annual pass, so I can visit as many times as I like for a year and I got a discount because I bought online beforehand. There's a big restaurant and a gift shop and there are toilets dotted around the area so you're never too far from one. All in all I would visit again even though it's quite far away.

Great place to visit if you like your cars.

A great museum for car fans. Lots of cars through the ages. An interesting story of the first Benz vehicle as well. A nice section about the Williams F1 team. A section of bikes and some of Richard Hammond's cars from the grand tour programme. In the afternoon there was a demonstration of cars in the paddock and even the chance to sit in them after. The staff and volunteers were very knowledgeable. The ticket lasts a year so we can visit again which is a bonus. A good cafe for a drink and bite to eat before we headed home.

Pleasantly surprised! Very large collection and informative museum. Really enjoyed it, and expecting to stay an hour or so I actually stayed for 3 hours. Nice cafe too. Plenty of parking and easy to find.

Great museum for car enthusiasts. Lots of cars in display including the Richard Hammond collection. After things for the kids to get involved in. Cafe that sells cake, sandwiches & drinks.

The Haynes Motor Museum was founded by John Haynes the originator of the Haynes car manuals. Situated near Yeovil in the village of Sparkford this incredible collection is housed in a purpose-built site. The collection is vast and there are different themed rooms. The red room is just full of red Italian sports cars. Along with other rooms full of a variety of cars there is a room full of American cars with a large collection from the 50s and 60s. There is a model of each generation of corvette starting with the first. In my opinion this is the best motor museum in the country.

Took my husband for his birthday in August, not my cup of tea but he loved it! Tickets were reasonably priced, the exhibition was well laid out with lots of information and the cafe was great too! Seemed like there was lots to do for kids too, so good for the whole family. My husband especially enjoyed the Drive Tribe exhibit! Would definitely recommend for any petrol heads.

Outstanding museum packed full of all things motoring. Staff helpful and keep busy. Place is spotless and restaurant 750 extremely clean and a great selection. Thank you for a wonderful day ! Well worth a visit that lets you return within the year.

Really good museum well laid out with a wide selection of all types of vehicles and motorcycles with interesting information on each one. You can save money on the entry cost and the guidebook if you pay for them online in advance. Your entry tickets is valid for a year from date of visit.

Like the parking big spaces went in big open area all of it bit expensive though but hey it's a great day out

A great museum with a fine selection of cars. Staff were all very friendly and we enjoyed the car show. There is plenty of parking outside and we would certainly visit again in the future.

Smart, modern building with plenty of free parking. Large, light, airy café. Toilets. Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff, both on reception and throughout the museum. If you like your red cars, you'll be happy here as there is a red area dedicated to them. Loads of information boards and displays. Vehicles covering various types: vintage, sports, racing, classics, American, bubble cars, and a small mezzanine area with a few motorbikes. Not many bikes, more a car museum, but it does have some great bikes on display. I was here for about an hour and a half, would definitely have been longer if it had more motorbikes! All the exhibits are constantly buffed and nurtured by an army of dusting and polishing staff and, as a result, are sparkling and gleaming. I suppose too many visitors ignore the do not touch signs and leave a plethora of fingerprints in their wake. It's a good museum for car fans and worth a visit.

A great musuem, with the building looking very modern and new. Be sure to book go karting though as chances of getting a slot on the day are slim.

A great afternoon walking around an impressive car collection. Small motorbike collection upstairs also. Well presented Cafe with good seating area. Unfortunately not dog friendly - but the website does explain that, so we knew in advance.

Clean, well planned, something for everyone!

If you are into cars or even have a passing interest, this far exceeds the adminastrive fee. You can easily lose 4 hours wandering around the fabulous exhibits. I drove down from Stirling for the experience. In fact, I done it twice!

A lot of cars to see, worth to see.

Both of the pay to play excavators weren't working, which may only seem like a small part of the experience but for my son it was the whole reason for going there - hugely disappointing. Play park was enjoyed as the weather was nice. Great summaries of the cars on display. 3 out of the 5 museum staff we interacted with seemed like they were having a miserable day. Superb plant based options at the cafe.

Amazing day. We got to see the outdoor parade of vehicles although weather wasn't great. Loved the williams f1 collection Loved all the various car types We saw some rare cars and some good replicas of cars as well. Loads to see and we spent 2and half hours there.

Amazing collection of cars with something to appeal to everybody, 100% recommend!

What a fantastic experience we had here as a family. My in-laws were able to take advantage of the mobility scooters which you very kindly provided free of charge. For comparison, another attraction we visited on our holiday in the area wanted £30 each for the same thing. This was very welcome as without these they wouldn't have been able to get about. Our young 2 year had a great time also, particularly in the perfectly sized play area. The addition of the little tykes cars for toddlers to move around the museum in was another great touch. Your staff were extremely welcoming with professionalism and courtesy even offering to call through to a local pub/restaurant to book a table for us when we asked if there was anywhere nearby they could recommend. To summarise, top class customer service and an amazing collection of vehicles with things to capture the focus of all ages.

Very good car museum shame about the café could do with serving an all day breakfast as we travelled over 160 miles to get there to find you didn't do hot food

It was toss up between here and the Fleet air arm museum. The first time I had been here in its new guise and what a treat it turned out to be. It deserves its reputation. In my opinion it rivals the famous Louman museum in The Netherlands and that is some accolade.

What an amazing place, we visited on a day that wasn’t too great whether wise whilst we were on holiday. I will say we had been spoilt with the amazing weather and on a normal holiday this would have been a normal day! The museum is amazing and your ticket is valid for a year so you can go back. The staff were lovely and the place was immaculate. The photos do not do it justice though, the red room was nothing but incredible. Plenty for everyone to see and there was plenty to keep children entertained brass rubbings (which I actually did even though I’m a little older than their targeted audience) and Lego stations around too. If we are in the area I’m sure we will return for another visit. If you purchase your tickets in advance there is a discount but we didn’t, just paid on the door.

We had a brilliant day at haynes motor museum. Saw a display and talk with Nick which was excellent. Then did another meet with Nick about cars in yhe museum and the big screen. Was great fun! Nicks enthusiastic approach was brilliant and enthralling. Complete joy and truly loves the cars and museum. Thanks for great day

Lots of cool cars to see of all ages. Good friendly staff to help. Cafe could have a bit more to offer for lunch but it's fine. Very enjoyable place.

A lovely motor museum well worth a visit, with shop, cafe, lovely welcoming staff on hand in superb grounds. Everything from boneshaker cycle to F1 cars, saloon cars, American cars, even a Morris garage. Recommended.

Had a great 3 hours walk round the museum.

Asked a question to one of the new members of staff ( been there about three months) about an old fire engine that used to be at the museum which my other half’s uncle did a lot of repairs to many years ago, unfortunately the fire engine was not there, the very nice chap went to see if he find anything about it by asking one of the curators, unfortunately they knew nothing about it. A big thank you to him for trying.

One of the best car collections I’ve personally seen! The passion shown throughout the museum, not only to the vehicles themselves but to the man himself John Haynes OBE was something to behold! The volunteers/staff were extremely friendly and informative, with one giving us some insights into the brains behind some of the vehicles! It’s a great size with so much to see and really easy to follow around! With an added little bonus of a section for the DriveTribe fan base with a few of Hammond Vehicles on show! Would 100% recommend!

Lots to see in a nice environment, quite expensive to get in £22.50 per person, but a good 3 hrs were spent here on a rainy day. Slightly cheaper 10% if you buy tickets a day or more before

Not as good as Coventry Motor Museum. Much more variety there and the City is the home of British motor cars. Amazing history!!

The whole experience was excellent staff outstanding

A brilliant day out.... brought back lots of memories.... seen examples of my first motorcycle, a James Comet and my first car, a Standard 10. Excellent... and I can visit again during the next year.

The museum is very good and worth the visit, but the cafe really was lacking any choice just pasties and sandwiches and a few cakes, could do with some meals to choose from

Loved wandering around looking at all the cars and motorbikes. Saw my second car that I ever brought in 1985, an Austin Allegro. Well worth the visit. Buying tickets in advance is £2 cheaper than on the day. Very wheel chair friendly, all hard surfaces and ramps.

Such a good place to visit whether you're an out and out petrol head or not. The museum is spotless, the cars in amazing condition, the red room looks so good and the Drivetribe exhibition will rotate cars rather than just having the same ones on display all the time. The team is super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. All in all it's definitely worth a visit

Fantastic array of cars and motorcycles, It was my first visit to this new building and I was very impressed. Inside was very clean with all the cars dust free. The staff and volunteers were very friendly and extremely helpful.

Took my 84yr old father back to the museum, which he had visited on the second year it had opened, all had a great time, lots of amazing cars

If you love the car in every form. The History of the motor car is there. A great place and way of seeing what the British could do the manufacturing History is all there. An amazing way of spending a day.

Went for my parrner who enjoyed it .cars very well kept and displayed well and lots dif ranges personally not my cup tea and not much for how much it was in price

A great car museum with so much to see and do and we'll worth the money a great history of cars with the red room with all the cars red including the Lamborghini Countach beautiful, you have a wide range of cars and also racing cars including Williams F1 you need at least 3 hours around here, overall 10/10

A good time spent looking around old tech cars, from the beginning of motori g to oresent day.It needs more people around to answer any questions you have though.
