Café 46 in Hart

Had a pretty miserable breakfast here. Service ok, but nothing more, that being said they rely on volunteers, who can't be expected to attain the same standard as trained waitresses. Breakfast options limited, nothing fresh like tomatoes or mushrooms, the only "veg", and I use the description loosely, option is baked beans no alternatives for those, like me, who dislike or can't eat baked beans. It's a resource I would like to support, but unfortunately this experience, and it's not the first time I've had a less than acceptable experience here, means I won't be returning.

This is an excellent venue for social gatherings, offering a delightful coffee and scone experience. However, improvements in staff friendliness would enhance the overall service.

Staff were very friendly and service was very speedy. They really make you feel welcome.

We use Café 46 often, the service is always top notch and the food is always fresh and tasty. Would recommend for light lunch or a quick coffee.

second time visiting this popular little cafe. Both my friend and myself had sausage sandwiches and a coffee. Unfortunately the skin on the sausages is so tough you neither of us could eat it, we had to dissect it and remove the skin. I also spotted another gentleman having the same issue on another table. As a rule the waitress will ask you if everything was ok, I was going to mention the sausages, however she just cleared the table without asking and so it never got mentioned until this review. Coffee was nice but just wouldn’t recommend a the sausages

Very average food, staff not rude but not that friendly. Plenty of seating and space for wheelchairs etc.

A great little find. Food was delicious and the cakes tasted homemade which was divine. Staff were so helpful and caring. Always nice to find a gem and enjoy the treats. Highly recommend

Found this place by accident and I love it. Wonderful staff and service, very relaxed pleasant atmosphere. Bright and airy. The small breakfast was perfect for us.

Strange set up of till in the corner, do you queue up? Sit down? Go to counter? Go to till? Wave? Order online? Find the WiFi password? I just want a coffee!!!! And to be not dog friendly in this day and age...... really. Beautiful cafe though just could be so much more.

Normally only have a sandwich, but today we had jacket potato each. Both very nice, young lady who served us was very pleasant. We them went into the Charity Shop afterwards unfortunately they didn't have what we were after. Will definitely visit both again.

Much to my surprise this cafe does not allow dogs in at all, even if you wanted to stop and buy a coffee and food to go that option is not made available. As there are the local pub/restaurants and cake shop right next door that all accept dogs 🐶 I won’t return and will stick with the others that offer great food and welcome pets as well,

It was busy. The service was mediocre. But there was no positive atmosphere . I am hesitant to visit again.

What a warm.and friendly cafe in the centre of Yateley. The staff all very friendly. The food was delicious I had a tuna melt panini. My husband had bacon, brie and cranberry panini. They were presented well with a knife and fork. (Some places dont offer a knife and fork). While we were eating my husband noticed the section of cakes and couldnt choose. One of the team suggested their banana and chocolate chip cake. We weren't disappointed it was really delicious. We later found out it was made by one of the staff. It is obvious that the manager has a very good team as everything flowed perfectly. Well done team x

Lovely place and staff. Not really ideal if you are in a hurry. On my last two visits I've failed to get a coffee with 30mins of being seated. Edit: service was fast today! Update 21/7/23 Still really good 😊

Lovely setting for a coffee and a catch up. My only criticism is the insistence for paying for each coffee ordered ... if you plan to stay for a while, it would be nice to have a tab and pay in one go.

We visited Cafe 46 for the first time today and will definitely be returning. We really couldn't find fault, the friendliest service, keen pricing and the food/drinks were excellent quality. If only all Cafe's were like this....

can’t rate the premises as on the facilities info says dogs are allowed which for my surprise when I turned up it clearly said guide dogs only on the door sign. Shame perhaps you want to update those details

Rough and not worth the money. Food was cold and chewy.

I know it's a volunteer run cafe, however it was one of the worst coffees I have ever been served, that I had to wait about 20 minutes for. The coffee was undrinkably hot and incredibly bitter.

This part of Yateley is not particularly well served by the big coffee chains. I came here with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. Prompt friendly service. Cake was very tasty, but the coffee was not the best (tasted bitter and possibly over-roasted). I will visit again in the future to get a comparison.

Pretty Cafe with shaded seating in garden and ample parking and toilet facilities. Friendly service Mia made me feel very welcome and my Iced coffee was delicious. Enjoyed my visit.

Such a gorgeous little cafe. I love the ethos of this community cafe, with signs on the wall offering a listening service if needed. Lovely volunteer staff, so friendly. Great coffee (I had an oat milk cappuccino) and cakes. An absolute gem, with the only downside being the parking.

Disappointing. "Classic Cream Tea".... since when did a classic cream tea come with a tiny pot of Squirty Cream? WTAF is squirty cream doing on a Classic Cream Tea? Scone was OK, no butter supplied; Strawberry jam had NO fruit, think that means it isn't JAM! Any sugar/sweetener on the table? NO! And even the manager seemed to have no concept of splitting a bill. Overall, a disappointingly poor performance.

Very disappointed cream tea does not consist of squirty cream and warmed up scones in the microwave very unhappy even service was not particularly good I would not recommend or revisit total waste of money!

A truly great cafe; the milk shakes are delicious and the homemade cakes are so tasty. Friendly and attentive staff; very reasonable prices. We sat outside in the garden and soaked up the sun and tranquility

Cafe 46 is definitely worth a 5*, having recently come back to see what progress or additions have been put it is a lovely place to go and relax as you can see in the many photos of me and my friends/family drinking there. It is perfect for a self contained, short trip out with kids or older members of the family. It's ground level, easily accessible and connected to the charity shop next door. Volunteer run and every single one of them are lovely and warm welcoming. I would reccomend a visit to this place to simple just enjoy yourself over a catch up and a cup of coffee!

This is a little gem. I had no idea it existed but a friend took me there today. The cafe is bright and airy and goes further back than you expect. There is a generous garden at the back and there are a plethora of garden toys to keep little ones entertained. The fresh cakes and food are delicious and reasonably priced. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Lovely friendly staff. Good choice of drinks and food. Only thing I thought was unaceptable one of the staff set our drinks on the table by holding the rim with her fingers. Even the ones with a handle. I should have refused the drinks.

Friendly staff most welcoming. Divine cakes. Disabled facilities excellent. Comfy chairs and some big solid oak tables, for groups. As well as smaller ones. An excellent Community Cafe. A Beravement Course is offered amongst a myriad of other things. Well worth a visit..and browse next door in Discoveries Charity shop with cafe too. Adjacent to St Peter's Church. Yateley is a vibrant Community. Infamous for Gig on the Green Music festival.

Stopped off with 15 other cyclists. Good selection of cakes. We were made to feel very welcome and even had a table reserved. Lovely decor and light and airy.
