This the best value for money at the very least in Northamptonshire that I have ever experienced. Friendly staff; more than ample portions; friendly atmosphere. Timely service delivery.

Ordered cooked breakfast for 6 of us, best thing was told it would be a 25 minute wait for food, was closer to 10 so that was good. But rest least good. Had to ask 3 times for our toast/bread, had finished my meal before my bread came. Most disgusting eggs Ive ever eaten, not sure how it is possible to burn the bottom and have raw tops. The beans and tomatos were cold. Hash browns and sausages nice but rest of food sub-par. For the price wouldn’t come back, better going elsewhere and paying £2 for something much nicer.

Stopped by with family and dog after going to the may day fair. Ten people maximum in the cafe. Fella in front got short shift when trying to order so didn't bode well. So now it was my turn. I said we were seated outside. Response " don't care where you're seated, you'll be lucky to get anything". I said we only wanted drinks. Reply " doesn't matter, we've got a delivery, be at least 25 minutes! ". Obviously I replied with, " don't worry, we'll leave it". Something was muttered but I didn't catch it. I'm sure it wasn't a sorry for any inconvenience though. Some people were seated outside, they said they'd got a similar " not so welcome" and had also left it. Bank holiday, a fair in town. They COULD of done so well but taking they're delivery outweighed ANY form of customer service.

Ordered online from here and tried to call the number listed to tell them I’m allergic to egg and ask that they remove it however they don’t answer the phone. I then thought I’d have to leave it and hope it’s not too mixed with the other food. The time it gave for delivery was 11:45 however at 12:10 it still hadn’t arrived so I hinted about for contact details, I found a Facebook page and messaged them. I told them it hadn’t been delivered and was told it would be with me within 10 minutes…. The food finally arrived at 12:45 and was stone cold! I hen I complained the them they told me that a driver had a puncture and they would offer me £5 as an apology on my next order (like I’d order from there again) I told them this is ridiculous and asked why they didn’t call me to tell me about the puncture. I was then told they tried but my number was incorrect which is bull as I checked my number twice before submitting as I know people struggle to find my property! I have since been ignored on the Facebook page and they haven’t offered anything else.

We went in for a toasty and a panini takeaway with coleslaw and salad on the sides which we had to pay extra for. Firstly they only take cash so don’t only go with your card. We waited 45 mins for our food and there was little to no one in. When we finally got our food we were told that we would have to split the coleslaw as it was just bought from Tesco and was still in the pot. Once we got back to work there was no salad or coleslaw, the food hadn’t been toasted it had just been warmed up so was soggy. Little filling in the panini. Won’t be going again.

We just had food delivered from Uber eats to two properties and the food is absolutely disgusting the hash browns are grey inside, the sausages and bacon are slimy and the eggs are like rubber. The omelettes are dry and the chips soggy and taste reheated and like bad oil and who sends tomatoes and beans mixed in the same container??? Worst food delivery I have ever had!! Asked for no eggs on one due to an allergy and they didn’t listen so runny yolk all over the food now can’t be eaten. I would never order from here again and I wouldn’t ever recommend. Popped in for breakfast - The service was great and the man behind the counter was very helpful. Unfortunately the the cup I was given was dirty and only filled 2/3. Breakfast was a great size, the sausages looked and tasted lovely, unlike the 2 eggs, bacon and black pudding and oily hash browns. I’m personally not a fan of the ramekins that are used for tomatoes and beans, I think it’s good to serve them in something but I’d suggest using something else. The staff have a lovely relationship with their regular customers and seem more than happy to have a chat.

En esta ocasión nos detuvimos para tomar un desayuno en familia, fue agradable, un full monty y sin duda merece el nombre. El personal es agradable. Es bastante deteriorada por dentro, pero bien. This cafe looks really modern from the outside. The signage gives the impression of a trendy internet/student cafe.Inside is a VERY different story and a little like being transported back to the 70's! The chairs are all the kind that have tied on cushions. Plastic gordy tablecloths and the average age of customer was about 70! Not that I have anything particularly against the age of the clientele, but the signage did make us think this was a young persons place. The smell of old fat was overpowering, although my sausage sandwich (in a bap) tasted really quite good. No sweetener for your tea though, just those pouring sugar things where you end up with 3 tablespoons not one teaspoon. Waitress was attentive and cheerful. I didn't use their facilities so can't comment on that.

Unfortunately I am going against the flow of positive comments for this cafe. I agree the staff were very courteous and the environment was pleasant enough. However, the sandwiches that were ordered (no baguettes available at 12.00noon!) were a joke. A sausage sandwich was 2 slices of thick white bread (no option for brown) with halved fried sausage(s) - no butter/ margarine, no added accompanied (even a little bit of tomato to give it colour). Fresh white bread was all well and good, but very bland & tasteless. My wife's chicken with BBQ sauce sandwich was also with the same tasteless white bread. Along with tea and coffee, the price was very cheap, but I would rather spend another 50p and have something I could enjoy. Sorry, but will not be going there again. Perhaps the cooked food is better...?

I went here with a friend about 3 weeks ago, just haven't got around to posting a review. Having recently moved to the area we wanted to try the local eateries to see what's hot and what's not. I always aim to give an honest and balanced review and this will be no different. We went here at lunchtime. There were 4 other tables occupied and most of them had their food already. The place itself was clean and the temperature was fine. The menu wasn't as extensive as I thought it might be but the usual cooked breakfasts, sandwiches and burgers were on offer. The staff were friendly enough, a young lad and a female who was doing the cooking. I ordered a cheeseburger with bacon and chips, mate ordered a breakfast. We also ordered a tea and coffee which were apparently 'free refils', which I though was good. We were told there would be a 20 minute delay for food, wasn't sure why as most people already had their food, but we were told so it wasnt an issue. Burger arrived without bacon but that was swiftly remidied. Didnt get an offer of a refill on the drinks though so by the time the food had come the drinks had finished. The food was freshly cooked and the coleslaw was really very good, presumed homemade. The burger however wasnt that nice it wasn't good quality meat, definitely could be improved upon. The prices were absolutely fine but to be fair I think people would be happy to pay a little more for better burgers and sausages. I visited the toilet whilst there, which could have done with a clean. Didnt see an hourly check sheet or anything on the wall, perhaps that would be an idea to make sure the checks are done regularly. (no toilet paper, wet floors etc).Overall, it was a nice, clean cafe and I would go again for a breakfast but not for a main meal.

Although there have been a few cafés at this premises, the new Café@25 is the first one in my experience to push forward with some exciting ideas such as baking class sessions, charity and musical events. As a local and frequent diner, sometimes with my family, I have noticed the improvements in the menu and the determination to find the right balance of quality, service and cost. This is a community café with big but viable ideas. Their home-made cakes, brownies especially, are to die for. Service is with a smile and as prompt as can be bearing in mind that everything is prepared to order and hasn't been hanging around all morning. Go and try it for yourself, I recommend it.

My wife and I went to Café @25 on passing, the place is quite big and although our initial impression was that it’s very minimalistic, we later found out having spoken to the owner that she has only just taken over a month ago, so it is going through some early stage changes and it’s improving daily. We also spoke to a local couple on the next table who said that they found so much has improved since this lady took over. The place is cleaner, staff much friendlier and the food & choices definitely has improved. This is the first time we have been here, but can say that we really enjoyed the atmosphere as well as the food (Oh and the homemade scones and cakes were just first class), all at a very decent price too!! We will definitely come back again and looking forward to seeing the changes the young lady has planned.

Staff were friendly enough, service was prompt, however I got a paltry amount of chips to compliment my "chicken" burger....no salad or owt. The meat was actually beef, which wouldn't have been an issue in itself, but the accompanying roll and 'toppings' were for a chicken burger, so I had mayo & lettuce on my beefburger. Not great, not even sure how that went so wrong and wasn't picked up by anyone. Photo shows the combination received, and the largely empty plate, can only imagine the focus was on the brioche branding.

Seeing as my review was removed I will try again! Stay away. I went to the so called “quiz night” and it was awful. You would have found a better atmosphere in a morgue. Hardly any there, no music, vile smell and it was dirty. I use to frequent the pub before lockdown and it was fantastic. It has apparently changed hands since and not for the better. I will definitely not be going back. The smell and filth were enough to put me off my beer let alone dreary feel to the place. Very sad to say that I will not be recommending a once lovely pub
