I’ve been going for years and today I had one of the worst customer service experience. The young woman serving at the front didn’t acknowledged me when I stood waiting at the counter for a while. She was busy but was moving at a glacial pace, appearing sulky and annoyed. When she eventually came to serve me, she greeted me with ‘yeah?’ No smile, hello, or any kind of greeting. I found her so unwelcoming and miserable that when she told me it’s a 10 minute wait for a coffee to go that I left. I would have stayed if it wasn’t for the horrible welcome. I can’t imagine I’ll be going back which is a shame as I pass it every day.

We popped in here after we had enjoyed the Manchester Cathedral gardens as part of the Blossom Trail through the city. We were served straight away and the oat and soya milk coffees, mochas and cappuccinos were delicious. My daughter in law also enjoyed a chai latte and it is worth mentioning that the cakes looked amazing. We had my grandson with us, and he was delighted to find a little play area to enjoy. Friendly service and a very welcome stop on our day out.

Located next to Manchester’s beautiful Cathedral this is a lovely little coffee shop with great food. I’ve just tried the ‘Manchester ale sausage role’ it was different, but a real treat. The coffee is very nice and it’s the perfect location for sitting and watching the world drift by. Very good
