Great Breakfast and Very good service. Would definitely return and reccomend to friends. Nice clean facilities. Reasonable prices

Visited for lunch a bit late and café was fairly busy, but we were quickly accommodated and a high chair was provided. There was a wait for food, but we were told about it and they delivered within the expected time. One of our group is vegetarian and there were a couple of veggie choices, though a bit limited. I had a tuna and sweetcorn panini and it was excellent. The veggie all day breakfast was fine. Staff were friendly, though very busy. Tough times in hospitality at the moment, so well done for delivering a good standard of food and service.

Thanks to the courteous helpful lady who made the recommendation, I enjoyed a lovely cheese and ham sandwich, salad and a coffee at Caesers Café.The staff were polite, friendly and attentive, Covid precautions were adhered to, the café was very clean and the prices reasonable.At the time I was only seeking a light lunch, but I did notice the substantial delicious looking fish and chip meal a gentleman was enjoying on a neighbouring table. Some other time maybe...As an aside and in the unlikely event of the first young lady walking on Terrace Road whom I asked if she could recommend a café serving sandwiches and coffees who responded "Sorry, I don't have any small change”, ever reading this review, I would like to assure her that I enjoy a good pension after a successful career following several years of Military service, have never begged for money in my life and hope she never needs to.

Been 3 times recently, twice for lunch and once for Breakfast. Excellent, value for money, quality and service second to none. Will certainly go again.

My family visited recently having been unable to travel for over a year and this was the first place I took them to upon arrival. The food was of a high standard and very, very reasonable and the service, the owner is very much hands on and her personality and humor shines through. I would highly recommend this resturant.

Came to this lovely cafe 5yrs ago so came back again whilst on holiday this year. Everything is done very Covid safely & the staff are extremely welcoming & attentive.Food is wonderful, especially the Emporers breakfast & they make a great cuppa!We sat outside with our dogs & the young man made them very welcome making sure they had water.There is also a garden out the back if you want it a little quieter.Definitely recommend this cafe!

Called in on off chance for a brekkie. I had a veggie one, hubby had normal. The best brekkie we've had, knocks spots off of a big chain company. Staff are all very pleasant too. Thank you

Having beenblasted by wind and hail on the front we moved into town to find some warming food and drinks. We found this place with varying size tables outside. The staff were very friendly and super efficient in cleaning tables and maintaining Covid requirements. When we found a table we were presented with an extensive menu that made choosing difficult but settled for a soup of the day and a bowl of cawl (beef broth). The cawl was freshly made that morning, heaped high in a large bowl and accompanied by delicious bread and a large chunk of cheddar. The soup was equally huge in portion and both were delicious. Prices were very reasonable for such good food and we will definitely use this place again when we're in Aber.

Lovely little find!! Ended up in Aberystwyth for a quick look around. Found this little gem! Great decor, staff were extremely friendly but then this is Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 and the food was amazing!! Freshly made, great ingredients and presentation. Much appreciated xx

We called in here during our stay in the area. Sat outside as it was a lovely sunny day and we had our dog with us. Typical cafe type menu with a good choice of meals and drinks. We ordered two breakfasts and one chili jacket potato. The food arrived in good time and everything was very tasty and nicely presented. Very friendly service received, they even brought a treat for the dog. Good value for money, could certainly visit agin

Great little café in the heart of Aberystwyth town centre. Very friendly and professional staff and good food. I had the chilli jacket potato which was lovely! Would highly recommend! A good COVID-19 procedure was in place too as you have to scan the QR code on the NHS COVID-19 app.

We had afternoon tea on Saturday, the owner was great very helpful. Have had afternoon teas at lots of places, including four star hotels but we all agreed this was the best one ever! Beautifully presented, sandwiches very tasty and the cakes were so delicious. Very generous portions couldn't finish it so were given boxes to put the leftovers in. If we come back to Aberystwyth next year we will definitely come back here!

Had a lovely early breakfast husband had toast and jam with 2 lovely toasted slices and two pots of nice jam. We also had coffee, tea, and a sausage and bacon baguette (also nicely potted tomato ketchup) and bacon and fried slice

Looking for somewhere for breakfast and hubby chose ceasers I'm so glad he did, it was a beautiful day so we sat outside and had food, which was one of the best breakfast I've had in a look time and the staff and owner was very pleasant too, I shall defiantly go back there

We went here for a breakfast and it was lovely. It was very homely, I enjoyed having a full breakfast and a drink. Service was good and the inside was very clean. Sadly I returned a day later and the cafe was full; we sat outside but the tables were dirty & menus had not been cleaned. Hopefully they can get this sorted but overall a very nice cafe.

Took breakfast here and was treated to a warm friendly welcome and lovely food, well presented. Would recommend this to anyone.

Visited for first time today, and will definitely return soon. Two had, and can recommend the Steak and Ale Pie, with Beans or Peas, and Chips, washed down with good Capuccino. The pie filling is home made, very tender steak and lovely sauce. They also do All Day Breakfasts which look to be worth a try, might try one next time in town! Staff are also charming, and know their product.

Have been to caesars a few times now, what a lovely lot of staff, always helpful and a smile, good cooked to order food, a good choice and always hot, great price and no skimping on the quantity, great selection of drinks as well. Well worth a visit if you are in Aberystwyth, we have eaten out side on the seating on the pavement and out the back in their courtyard area. Very clean and well managed with the social distances felt safe and well looked after. Thank you caesars

We visited this cafe out of the blue. The staff were very welcoming and polite and followed social distancing rules. We felt the cafe was clean and saw the tables being cleaned thoroughly between guests. We were sat in the garden seating out the back which was a decent size and had adequate space to keep people apart (there was also seating out the front, however it was very busy). We ordered two large breakfast, my partner changed the mushrooms and tomatoes for hash browns and the staff were happy to do this and at no extra cost. Both breakfasts were presented beautifully and tasted amazing! Large drinks were also included in the price of the food, which was very good pricing we think! Recommend for anyone visiting Aberystwyth looking for a bite to eat, we recommend the breakfast but they also serve other light bites such as panini’s and sandwiches.

Popped in today for 3 takeaway breakfast baguettes. Staff were very friendly( I'd just stepped off the farm and still in farm clothes). The cafe was spotless with lovely lights hanging from the ceiling. She gave a variety of sauce sachets and spare napkins in a little brown bag to go. Baguettes were freshly cooked and didn't take long. She also gave me a lovely warming cup of tea. The baguettes were amazing, just lush. Best breakfast we've had in years. (I had 3 very happy men) Highly recommended. Amazing find.

Had difficulty finding anywhere to eat, whilst (Welsh) world cup rugby on TV. Found Caesars by chance. Good choice of meals at very reasonable prices, including daily specials and vegetarian food. Served quickly, ordering a vegetarian breakfast and a Beef Cawl. Food arrived timely, served by friendly staff. The breakfast looked good, and was told it was good. My Beef Cawl was very good. Rich tender beef and vegetables in a very rich gravy, served with granary bread, butter and cheddar cheese. My wife also had an apple crumble, which was equally good. The cafe was very busy, with the staff working hard to, and achieving good quick service for everyone whilst not rushing their customers. The price was very reasonable and we will return whenever in Aberystwyth again. Would recommend anyone to try.

Lovely home-cooked style food and plenty of it, great value for money. We called in for Brunch and were blown away by the choices on offer. Very busy and popular with locals and it is very easy to see why!

A wonderful Ceaser'r breakfast ...enourmous, but all eaten by a hungry 16 year old and a variety of smaller choices for mum and friend. Very reasonably priced and friendly staff.

This is our third visit for Afternoon Tea and it was absolutely delicious. I ordered an adult and a child's afternoon tea and requested a ham sandwich for my daughter. My friend is vegetarian and diabetic, so requested an afternoon tea which would accommodate her dietary requirements. The owner provided exactly what we wanted and on each visit always puts thought into what we ask for and we are never disappointed. The food is beautifully presented, nothing is too much trouble. The staff are polite and attentive. I would go as far as to say that out of all the places we have been to have afternoon tea (and there have been a fair few) Caesars is the the place where we have had the best one. We find ourselves comparing them to the ones we had at Caesars, and it wins hands down everytime!It would be great to see the Afternoon Tea advertised on the menu, Facebook,etc. I only found out about it through my friend who had been before. We will be back again soon.

We had chips with chicken curry on, lots of chicken and lovely sauce!! Also a Cajun chicken salad and a side of curly fries. Real chicken breast (no reformed rubbish) nicely spiced with extra Cajun mayo in a pot. Large salad with homemade coleslaw and half a baguette and butter. Curly fries were a large portion. We couldn’t finish and took a doggy bag home. Really enjoyed eating here, staff are lovely. Will definitely be back.

It's always nice he not back working in a town when you know there is a banging breakfast near by. In the past I've always had the veggie breakfast with no egg. I was informed today that the veggie patty as cheese in it. Great if the server to check if I was vegan. An extra veggie sausage instead on the already over loaded plate went down a treat. Two breakfasts and two coffees and a service as if we were weekly locals all came to about £15. Always worth a stop.

What a fantastic little cafe.Stopped in for a coffee whilst visiting Aberystwyth with my parents and immediately impressed by the welcoming and friendly staff; served really quickly too. Decided to come back later for lunch and had the excellent seafood platter (altered to cater for three instead of two, without any quibble!). Excellent value too, less than £20 for the three of us with three pots of tea!Great food, wonderful service and excellent prices- highly recommended!(A particular mention for Linda, who persuaded us to return for lunch and was above-and-beyond helpful and friendly, even spending her afternoon break chatting to us! I have had several delicious meals here whilst on holiday in the area. They have a selection of daily specials but also have an excellent menu. It is always a place I go go for lunch when in Aberystwyth.

Stopped here because Sophie’s across the road was full. The lady in Sophie’s said Caesars was good too. She was wrong ! It was excellent. My two teenagers and I loved that you could build your own breakfast, pick your favourite items and combine anything on the menu. We thoroughly enjoyed the food which was delicious; the coffee was great too. Amazing value as well. Would go back again without question. Highly recommended to everyone ( including vegetarians).

They cater for Coeliac's with gluten free bread and chips. I was very pleased to have found this cafe It was clean and welcoming snf the waitressing service was very good and efficient. I had two good meals/snacks there which I enjoyed both times.very much. Brilliant.

Because our full vegetarian Welsh breakfasts sustained us even through a long hike over Constitutional Hill and back, we needed a lighter lunch. We ordered egg salad and tuna salad sandwiches on brown bread and were very pleased with the portions.

Well worth a visit as this place has a good breakfast and also other food is just as good.. Friendly staff and even papers to read.... The only downside is the parking you might be lucky to get a place.We would visit the place more if it had parking.you can even sit outside on a nice day.

We were asked to take a seat and they would be over to take our order. They proceeded to take other peoples orders that had arrived after us and ignore us so we decided to leave.

This was my favourite place to go for breakfast while visiting in Aberystwyth! The breakfast is amazing (best hashbrowns I've ever had) and the staff is always sooo nice! Such a cozy atmosphere too and nice patio to sit at the back in the summer.

Stopped here for lunch and considering it was right in the middle of the summer holiday we walked in and were seated right away. We were with my Grandfather who is a coeliac and the staff were brilliant with taking the time to explain to him what foods he could and couldn't have and made every assurance he would be well looked out for. I was personally very impressed with the variety of options they provided as most places just have one basic gluten and wheat free option so my Grandfather was pleased to have a choice. The staff were great, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was good. Would definitely go back again.

We came to Caesars just for a coffee and cake and while we thoroughly enjoyed our coffee with chocolate brownie and ice cream, what impressed us most was the helpful and friendly attitude of each of the 3 members of staff who served us.

We had a wonderful brunch in Caesars cafe. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the service extremely efficient. We were lucky to get a lovely table by the window, and the decor inside the cafe is very pleasant. The food was absolutely delicious; I would particularly recommend the tasty omelettes. The service was so efficient, and the portion sizes were perfect. I cannot recommend this pleasant, reasonably-priced cafe highly enough.

Ambos pedimos el hongo higo, fue servido con patatas y verduras hermosa nueva temporada. Muy sabroso y dio en el clavo perfectamente. Toda la experiencia fue realzada por la excepcional amabilidad y conversación de las señoritas que nos, nos sentimos muy bien acogidos y valorados. También probamos la tarta de limón. . . I visited Caesars today with my family for afternoon tea. The staff are very welcoming and their afternoon tea is amazing. They catered for our vegetarians and even did a range of diabetic cakes for me.we were unable to eat everything but they very kindly boxed the extras up for us (they were far too nice to leave).When this tea rooms advertise clotted cream teas, they do actually mean clotted and not whipped. When they say homemade cakes they are actually homemade and beautiful. Well worth the visit. Thank you so much!!

Having just arrived in Aberystwyth we were looking for somewhere to stop off for lunch and found Caesars. On entering we saw it was full but luckily one table was just being vacated so we jumped in and sat down. A pleasant waitress brought us a menu and we both chose a filled baguette, I had bacon, Brie and cranberry and my husband had coronation chicken, both were lovely. A pot of tea for two completed the meal and we were two happy diners. Caesars is a pleasant place to eat with friendly pleasant staff and prices that won't break the bank.

In order to save some money on the endless 'student runs' to Aberystwyth I've take to camping just out of town but as I travel light I need a reliable place to eat a hearty breakfast. The answer to this is Caesar's cafe in the heart of Aberystwyth. I've never been brave enough to try The 'Emperor's breakfast' which consists of three of everything- bacon, sausages, egg etc but have settled for the Caesar breakfast - 2 eggs , 2 sausages , 2 bacon, beans, tomatoes etc as well as toast and tea for around £6.50. The cafe is spotless, the staff polite and the food excellent and obviously all cooked to order. I enjoy the free newspapers to read with my food. To call it a cafe is rather an injustice, more like a bistro. Whatever label you chose I can only say I like the atmosphere. I've only ever had breakfast here on three occasions but I would assume other food would be of an equally consistent quality. In conclusion I highly recommend this place to other parents seeking refuge from the stresses of students.

We only called in for a snack after wandering around the town and they were able to provide my husband with gluten free rolls while I had a toastie. We sat outside on the pavement but when I went inside later I saw that there were seats outside at the back too, a very nice place and the staff were very helpful and polite.

This establishment follows a no changes policy - however if you don't want an item they will omit it and charge extra for any any additional item. This policy seems unique in Aberystwyth I assume it is designed to extort money from clients.Food well presented but very average in taste.

My daughter and I had to be in Aberystwyth early so decided to have breakfast as soon as we arrived. Well, I'm pleased that we did and even more pleased that we chose Caesars! It had been recommended to my daughter by a dear friend and we can see why. It's a completely different experience than the normal run of the mill cafés that usually serve breakfast. It's a lovely homely atmosphere, nothing is too much trouble for the friendly and welcoming staff. And as for the breakfast itself, the food was freshly cooked and tasted superb. Will definitely return when next in Aber which hopefully will be soon.

We came here for a bite to eat on a Saturday lunchtime, there were four staff working front of house and we were met with a smile and asked to sit where we liked, after only a couple of minutes a waitress came to take our order, she was knowledgeable about the menu and offered advice. We chose a pair of baguettes with a coffee and a tea. All tables were full inside and out by this time but the young staff handled the business with competence and ease. The drinks arrived promptly and were perfect, the food arrived within ten minutes and was a sight to behold, we had noticed the size of the portions being served to other tables in our vicinity, no short change here. We fully enjoyed the dining experience, the atmosphere of Caesars is tremendous, I think down to the loyalty of the regulars and the upbeat attitude of the staff. The prices were very reasonable and we left very satisfied. Thank you Caesars,,

Very acommodating for dietry needs and friendly staff. Serve good value wholesome food in a comfy atmosphere. The portion sizes were very decent, and we ate very well! We were very well looked after and would recommend for great service a great portions!

Waited nearly 15 minutes for a waitress to take our order - other later arrivals served and had their food. Hate poor disorganised service so gave up and left.

Only ended up here as our usual breakfast place was full. However, we are very glad we did. Breakfast is around the standard price you'd expect to pay in Aberystwyth and the service was amazing. The staff were friendly and chatty and made us feel welcome as soon as we stepped inside. Food came quickly and was lovely. We had two cooked breakfasts and they arrived quickly and tasted great. Would recommend to anyone, and has firmly become one of our favorite breakfast places.

While working in Aber me and my college tested all the breakfasts in Aber and found this to be the best... Nice breakfast and polite staff.well done.

A spot of lunch to set us up on our way home and blimey it did that!This is the British Cafe Experience at it's best. Super quality coffee. A varied menu to suit all tastes and reasonably priced. It was busy and hubby chatted to a lady before we were seated who announced 'This is where the locals eat!' and yes they do. Many customers greeted like old friends. Hubby and son both had burgers which were served with a generous amount of chips. Cheese toasty was just the thing I needed when struggling to shake off a nasty head cold.The cafe was very clean and the staff were meticulous in cleaning the table before we sat down. The loos were spotless too despite us visiting at a busy time.The food was nicely prepared and we had service with a smile. We didn't have room for cake or ice cream, but if in Aberystwyth again, we would definitely go back.My only criticism was that the portions were massive.

Went to Aberystwyth for a day trip, and visited Ceasars for a breakfast to set us up for the day.What a lovely place, friendly staff and great food at reasonable price. It was one of the few sunny days we have in Wales so we were lucky enough to be able to sit outside and enjoy the world passing by while digging into our food.coffee was plentiful and amazing.

This café has very nice outdoor seating and offers friendly, good service. The lunch tasted very good (toasted sandwich, soup, panini’s). Plenty of choice in drinks. There’s a special menu for children as well. We really felt welcome.

Popped in for a cup of tea but after looking at menu and chatting with very friendly, helpful staff we stayed for lunch - the tastiest Thai fish cakes with a delicious (and very large) side salad. Staff were great - highly recommend .

We went for lunch with our family when on holidays and the staff were very friendly and food nice! But the star of the show is the amazing lady who bakes the cakes... I overheard someone ordering a cake and my mother in laws 60th was the next day and I asked on the off chance could she make us a cake with 24 hours notice! The lovely lady was so accommodating and went out of her way to make us a cake... Can't thank her enough and the lemon and poppy seed centre was brilliant!!! Thank you so much!

Excellent lunch delicious and reasonable, all day breakfast included tea or coffee. The small breakfast not that small! Very friendly staff and excellent service.

My husband and I called in for a coffee whilst passing. We watched food coming out to tables and decided we wanted lunch too. The food was lovely, one of the best baked potatoes I've had. The staff are welcoming and the whole place has a very relaxed feel. We will be calling for coffee and lunch again.
