Cabana Restaurant & Bar in Manchester

Went to this restaurant and ordered two meals off of the specials menu - aubergine curry with rice as well as a grilled chicken with rice. However, when arrived, the foods did not look like anything off of the images on the menu and they didn’t give the sides that come with the meals which were Nan and chips. The food itself was tasteless and bland and massively disappointing as we were hungry and ready to try new foods of a different culture. A drink I ordered - called dogh a yoghurt drink, the server failed to mention the bitter sour watery taste of this drink. The taste and look of it was as though it was used dishwater. I am so upset my sister had to pay for this food, the only silver lining is that we paid the wages of that lovely server who took our order and apologised after.

We went as a family of 6 on a Tuesday night, as soon as we walked in we felt like walking back out due to a indescribable smell and state of the actual restaurant. Anyways we thought we will give them the benefit of the doubt and sat down. We ordered our food and at the same time I asked if they accept card payment and I was told no cash only so I went and got cash out then to see that they are taking card payment from another customer. So the food arrived, my daughter’s ordered grilled chicken and as soon as they saw it they were like nope we not eating that as it was dry and had a off smell to it the rest of the food wasn’t any better it was chewy and tasteless. The drinks were literally watered down. Service was none existent, not once anyone came to ask how the meal is probably know what the answer would be. I don’t usually write bad reviews about restaurants as they may have off days so I believe giving them the chance for others to try but this place was just bad as it could be and doesn’t deserve to be open in a place like Manchester. Save your money, time and stomach and avoid this place!!

The only good thing you can find is live music. Food is not good and drinks are mixed with water!!! Order a glass of beer with one shot vodka, but the taste was like water and was charged £12.

this is the best restaurant I have ever had the best food warm food excellent staff service delicious kebabs , clean super style live music 🎶 can not wait to be back here

With some friends we went to Persian restaurant actually food was amazing we really enjoyed we will be back soon
