Abbiamo mangiato bene, ma nella confusione totale, sembrava di essere in una trattoria. I tavoli sono piccoli e molto vicini, i camerieri passano continuamente sfiorandoti la sedia, trasportano grandi ruote in legno (?) da appoggiare sul tavolo per aumentarne o diminuirne la dimensione, scuotono tovaglie, sono impacciati e poco professionali. Abbiamo ordinato antipasto, primo e secondo e … sorpresa!!! Hanno portato tutto insieme e ci siamo trovati su un tavolo molto piccolo il salmone marinato, la pasta cacio e pepe e le milanesi: follia. Assolutamente non giustificato il prezzo per cibo ed atmosfera. Non lo consiglio, mi dispiace

When I go to Cipriani I feel at home, the cuisine is always phenomenal and inimitable, it represents Italy in the world. Always kind and qualified staff !!

Overpriced and definitely not worth it. Went for my friends birthday and was given the wrong wine after clearly stating we wanted the bottle that was £56 they provided us with an £83 bottle. After acknowledging this mistake they then placed the wine near another table instead of next to us so we were unable to probably look at the name of it. When we questioned this when paying they still refused to charge us for the bottle we requested so we were made to pay for one we didn’t even want! I got the bolognese but it really wasn’t that nice and came with an unpleasant aroma. The dessert was very nice and they gave it to us for free to make up for their mistake. Personally wouldn’t recommend and definitely will not be going back there, it is overpriced and overhyped, there are plenty of other restaurants near by that are better value for how much you’re paying.

Amazing food and service every single time we’ve visited. We looove their veal anything prepared in every way possible - you name it, we’ve tried it and we loved it. When in season, order their lobster spaghetti. Finish off the lovely meal with their yuzu sorbet and vanilla meringue, you wouldn’t regret it.

I had been dining at Cipriani restaurant ever since it opened, which must be more than 20 years ago. I booked a table for my wife's birthday with our 2 children, aged 13 and 15 and they refused us entry because my 13 year old was wearing shorts. These were smart, tailored shorts and it was one of the hottest days of the year - 33 degrees Celsius in London. You can imagine the extreme disappointment of my wife on her birthday when her chosen restaurant refused her family entry. We could have chosen to eat anywhere in London, spending our hard earned money at any one of thousands of restaurants, yet we had chosen you. Not only did you let us down, you have lost a customer for life. As a well-connected, high-net-worth individual, I will make sure that I make every effort to convey my experience to others, to ensure that you lose future lifetime revenue and customers. We were lucky enough to have been staying in a £7000 a night suite in the The Dorchester Hotel and a quick phone call to the hotel Concierge sourced an alternative restaurant who could not have welcomed us more openly. The service was superb and we ended up with a bill of nearly £2000. I gave the staff a substantial cash tip, on top of the standard service charge that had been added to the bill. It is incredible to hear that C London, which now appears to be back using the Cipriani name, is doing so well financially, despite other hospitality venues suffering, that they can turn down business from long-standing customers or indeed anyone who wishes to spend money with them. Once seated, no one can see whether a child is wearing shorts and so your policy is ridiculous. We witnessed other diners dressed inappropriately, wearing revealing outfits and covered in tattoos, yet you chose to take offence with my 13 year old child's smart shorts. This restaurant bizarrely allows dogs into their venue but not children in smart shorts. I would warn other potential diners to read the other reviews of this restaurant and to think very carefully about whether you wish to associate yourself with a restaurant that operates like this. There are thousands of restaurants in London, so choose very carefully.

My friends and I were seated by one of the tills in the corner. We were made to feel extremely uncomfortable as we overheard confrontations between the waiters. There was a young waiter with curly hair, who was being targeted and completely scrutinised by his colleague. It was quite disheartening to witness as the young waiter was extremely attentive to our table and kept a bright smile regardless of what was being said to him, or how he was being treated. It was really unfair to see this, as the other waiter (tall) was raising his voice and being utterly rude, and frankly quite intimidating. He displayed amazing professionalism unlike the other waiter. This is the customer service that makes a great difference to your team. He is an asset to the team, and did not deserve to be treated like that! Apart from this, the food was delicious and I’d definitely visit the other branches.

The place is very large, very noisy, very busy, very full. The food is an American version of Italian cuisine, quite fat and in large quantities, but some dishes are tasty. The staff is a mix of show-off and sympathy, but not very effective (they forgot a few things that we had to recall). All in all, it is more American than Italian, it is not bad, but I’m not sure it’s worth the price.

You can put lipstick on a pig. Usual huddle. Good food. Distance between tables ok. Service, this time was good. If you're looking for a quick lunch try this. Honestly, there so many established restaurants in town who don't try so hard.

To be honest, the restaurant has a nice atmosphere, but for me there are restaurants with a better atmosphere in London, same as Novi Cove.. As for the food, you must know that you cannot go out and just order coffee, but you have to order food and then have a coffee, and their food is not bad, but it is not delicious, I mean, it is very ordinary, but the nice thing about it is that there is nothing wrong with it. We booked a table at their website 22:30 but when we got there we had to order everything right away because they were closing. We all got incredibly stressed and could barely enjoy our dinner before the servers came to clear the table. Food was ok but not worth it. Everyone was leaving by the time our food arrived

Delicious food, friendly staff and amazing atmosphere.

Had dinner with family. Nothing special. Really tasteless food, very fatty ribeye steaks. Pasta with shrimps was ok, but nothing more. Strong smell of food inside the restaurant, as if I had entered a canteen. Overpriced for absolutely ordinary food. Ordered a bottle of primitivo, wine was nice.

Cibo squisito, personale gentilissimo, consigliatissimo, non metto 5 stelle perché abbiamo ordinato del Valpolicella Superiore ottimo, ma…è stato servito in bicchieri da acqua e alla mia perplessità mi è stato risposto che servono qualsiasi bevanda nei medesimi bicchieri. Vorrei che fosse da stimolo per chi dirige il locale a fare una riflessione, non si può degustare un ottimo vino rosso in un tumbler. Ed infatti guardandomi intorno eravamo gli unici che avevano ordinato una bottiglia di vino rosso. Spero la critica sia costruttiva. Ripeto cibo splendido…facciamo un piccolo sforzo

Judging by the regular constant flow of customers in and out this place is still very popular with a clientele composed in the main of wealthy Arabs. Hadn’t booked so had a few well made Negronis at the bar accompanied by complimentary Zucchini Fritti and Parmegiano before hopping across the road to Misternice.

The worst experience I had with a restaurant manager in London was at Cipriani London. When I entered the restaurant, the manager greeted me with the question, 'What do you want to eat?' I told him I would like a table and then I would order. He said, 'You can't sit until you tell me what you're going to eat, lunch or what?' I told him I would order dessert and coffee. He responded, 'You can't sit; we only serve those who want lunch.' I asked to see the menu so I could decide, and he said, 'Here is the menu, read it at the bar.' I told him I wanted a table, not the bar, and that I might order some food. He said, 'Don't say might, only lunch.' I asked to speak with a another waiter, and another staff member came over and treated me with respect and professionalism, unlike the manager. That’s what happened to me at Cipriani London. As for the dessert, it was very delicious, the coffee was okay, and the salad was good.

Unfortunately the food is average excluding the cake. Milanese non crispy. Pasta over Al dente. Fish oily…. Need I say more

Been to 3 other cipriani locations. NYC , Vegas and Dubai. It’s so sad , this restaurant is not a classy place anymore. Did not like the ambiance, pasta was undercooked and very basic . Waiters with attitude. Would not suggest and I won’t go back . U pay lots of money, u get treated badly and the food is very basic. Sorry

Absolutely loved Cipriani!! The food was very delicious, well seasoned and cooked exactly to my preference. One meal I will highlight was the organic grass fed beef. If you are a meat lover, that is the perfect meal for you. The wine selection was quite nice as well, and the dessert menu??? To die for. The only thing I would say, is that the table’s water service was a bit slow, I was only poured one glass throughout my entire time there and for the bill? It was a little weird.

I visit C London from time to time (but this is probably the first time I write a review here). I believe people dine at C London because they either like the place, for whatever reasons (including tourists) or are long time regulars. For myself, I have probably dined here for half a dozen times over the years and every time, what impressed me is the clientele (well dressed, elegant and at times, fashionable). Maybe that is not what people usually prioritise or care when they visit a restaurant but for me, I kind of enjoy this experience, which may not even be the case for some 3 M star venues. The food is in no way spectacular but they are prepared as you would expect from a high end restaurant. The price is considered to be on the very high side for what they offer, that is for sure, but there is also a reason why this restaurant is always packed. I actually walked in without a reservation that day and was seated at small table near the kitchen, one of the last tables available. Service wise, they are swift, maybe a bit over done at certain point, but still acceptable. The menu items seemed to be the same all these years as well as they are proud to offer their classic and signature dishes. I ordered the Puntarelle salad and the Tagliarelle with a glass of wine... totalled over ₤100 which is very expensive but like I said, people come here for other reasons. It is likely that I will be here again...

The meal was excellent! Quality, authentic ingredients. Very fair prices. It was a bit loud for us and a group next to us was very loud and animated, so much so, we could hardly hear ourselves talking to each other.

J’y ai diné avec une amie récemment, l’ambiance y est pesante, personnel hautain, nous avons patienté pas moins de 30 minutes au bar alors que nous avions réservé une table 3 semaines à l’avance… pas de musique/ambiance, déco vieille/kitch. Tout le monde s’observe et se jauge. Nourriture médiocre, pas d’assaisonnement, très cher pour ce que c’est.

The best tartare and cake in town

Very sad place, nobody smiles there. Pasta and gnocchi were average. Service was very annoying. The waiter was coming to our table every 5 minutes trying to take our plates with a lot of food on it. But at the same time he wasn’t in a hurry to get our order or bring us the bill. We were sitting in the corner next to the door to some stuff room, and every few minutes waiters were going there. It was annoying as well.

Authentic Italian restaurant with a lively atmosphere (although a little loud). Very popular place located in beautiful Mayfair. We will definitely go back for dinner during our next trip to London!

Very disappointed with the place. I have been to Cipriani restaurants so many times before in different locations but the london one was the biggest disappointment of all. The service was average, the food was also average, the interior design was dated with a huge hole in our couch. The service service charge was overpriced for what we got. I would not visit the place again.

I think the food is really good, I had the sea bass and vanilla meringue for desert. However, I gave it a 3 only because the service was not great. I’ve had dinner somewhere before going to Cipriani. I went there solely to have desert - Vanilla Meringue. But they told me that it was not allowed and I must order mains. This made me feel bad and uncomfortable. They could have, for instance, let me have my desert but tell me there is a time limit if you’re not going to have mains. The entire experience was rather unpleasant. I did not like the attitude of the waiters.

First time visiting and it was an exceptional experience. Old school service with waiters in white. Beautiful food, spot on service, and good cocktails. The carpaccio and bean soup were standouts as well as the Harry’s Bar special roger cocktail. Not a cheap meal out, but a perfect choice for a celebration or treat.

Overall disappointed, always seeing glamour pictures from this chain in IG was expecting a bit more. Old-style interior, tables.. very basic experience. Reminding me Turkish restaurant(sorry guys!) but x10 pricing. The food was meh.. not even Italian taste for me, portions are big but we both left the food. Dessert is kinda cool, that was the single enjoyable part of this evening. 200 gbp for one starter, two average mains, and two drinks :/

I dined at this restaurant last night for my birthday, honestly speaking it was an amazing experience. Our waiter was lovely, he didnt tell us his name but he was from Bangladesh. Very kind waiter, who was attentive and answered our questions about the menu. He even helped us select a salad and our drinks. The customer service was brilliant, at the front desk as soon as we entered they were greeting us with smiles and even when we left they were smiling and thanking us. I cannot fault anything. I’ve read some of the views about this restaurant and about it being expensive for what it is… and im not gonna lie Cipriani is a LUXURY GLOBAL brand, of course it’s going to be expensive. Thats a given, its going to be pricey, however its about the vibe and aesthetic. We personally didn’t see a problem with the pricing, its the same old as any high end restaurant. We loved our food and the dessert was great. FYI in the bathrooms, to get the water running from the sink you need to press on paddle under the sink, kinda cool rustic feels. Will be back.

The thing that really struck us was the atmosphere, it’s hard to describe, but there seemed to be a lot of families having a good time. Often you go to a high end restaurant and it’s all businessmen. I tried many branches of Cipriani around the world, but this particular branch was bad for the following reasons: We ordered coffee, salad, and cappuccino. He went to the restaurant manager and rejected the request (I noticed from afar that he was dissatisfied with the request). He came back again and said, “Ask for something more expensive.” We refused and left, and I saw others asking for the same and less

The Prosciutto Cotto was glorified deli ham, the Baked Thin White Tagliolini With Ham was underwhelming, and the Vanilla Meringue was too milky but the Paccheri Pasta was amazing and the service was brilliant as always.

Cipriani Venezia, my go to, before anything, where I had the great honour and immense pleasure to once share an evening and drinks with Signore Arrigo Cipriani (offered graciously by this great gentleman) while dining, unforgettable memories. Cipriani NYC, where we spent a great NYE a few yrs ago... Cipriani Dubai (where I live), where we have lunch all the time, order pastry, beautiful ambience.. And of course Cipriani Ldn, an institution itself, where we always enjoy great food. But this time, I was a little bit disappointed by the service overall, rushing us to order on a pleasant, sunny Saturday afternoon at 2.15pm ("kitchen is closing".. well don't take bookings at 2.15 then!), rushing us into eating, clearing the plates from each one of us the second they finished their last bite, even though the rest of the party was still eating/enjoying their starters, one by one HOP HOP HOP without even asking if it was ok.. sorry, faux pas! Not Cipriani standards. The mains were then brought literally 1mn after the last starter was cleared, no breathing, enjoying the conversation, the wine.. this isn't a canteen, is it? Not to mention, we had to ask for the glasses to be refilled, wine, water, several times. Other than that, the food was faithful to the standards (although my tuna tartare wasn't seasoned perfectly, kinda bland, but the rest was super good and the portions are very big), the atmosphere, likewise. Just please, let guests enjoy their Saturday lunch with friends/family, the food, the wine, without these little annoying details that can ruin an otherwise great experience. Will come back while in Ldn, definitely, as always, - A faithful, international customer.

So the older man that was the chief waiter( I think) was very upset that we were with the kids- my youngst is 7 months. He started yelling in Italian at the other waiters that is not normal to walk with the baby Round the restaurant( I wanna say that my baby wasn’t crying at all). The problem is that I speak perfect Italian so I responded in Italian that Cipriani is a family brand and this Cipriani is the worst that I saw. Bad service, horrible attitude. The food is the same in all Cipriani restaurants but here in London they should hire a family friendly chief waiter. It was quite cheap that this one didn’t like women or kids. Not to mention that in half an hour it was full only with families with kids. His head was about to explode when he saw that. He was very very rude overall. -The wine glasses erete water glasses( that dodnt even bothered to bring glasses) - the food was served in a mediocre way - in other Cipriani restaurants they serve you the food in the plates and you don’t touch the bottles and serve yourself - I paid the bill and the service fee but it wa the most mediocre Cipriani experience ever. And I go every year in Monaco. There they are super attentive. Any fast food has better waiters. That why it is not full compared to Bacchanalia that is right next to it( here at Bacchanalia I had the best experience with the staff a day earlier) Change the staff. London has so many restaurants that don’t send you communist vibes and are family friendly. The meringue pie- not so good. The carpaccio had mayo on top. The pasta was good.
