Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite live up to the rest of the experience anymore. The dishes were presented beautifully, but the flavors fell flat. The pasta lacked the freshness and authenticity you’d expect from a place that prides itself on being Italian, and the seasoning was surprisingly bland. Similarly, the mains felt uninspired, as though they were trying to cater to a broader palate rather than embracing bold, traditional Italian flavors. The one saving grace on the menu was the merengue cake, which was a true delight. It’s light, airy, and perfectly balanced—a standout dish that almost made up for the rest. If you’re dining here, I’d highly recommend skipping dessert elsewhere and indulging in this gem. Overall, is a place I’d recommend for a date night or an intimate gathering where the atmosphere and service take priority over the food. But if you’re looking for an authentic culinary experience, there are other Italian spots that might better satisfy your cravings.

It’s quite a few years since we last visited, and for a Sunday evening in a wintery January it didn’t disappoint. Minestrone soup to warm up, Chillian Seabass, of course followed by lemon meringue. All four guests enjoyed their food, the atmosphere was fun and lively, our waitress was genuinely caring and attentive on a busy night. We will be back again, I thought it had improved from what I can last remember, I always enjoy my visit here for the whole experience.

I went to dinner at Cipriani in London, attracted by the restaurant's prestigious reputation. Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to my expectations. The dishes were disappointing: my pasta was far too salty and undercooked, and the overall quality absolutely did not justify the exorbitant price. On the other hand, the service was friendly and professional, worthy of the expected standard. Despite this, the value for money is clearly unbalanced, and I would not recommend this establishment for those looking for refined, quality cuisine…

Overall: Food: Italian with a splattering of randomness Long standing Mayfair stalwart Cipriani/C has stood the test of time and still delivers consistently good food. There are far many better restaurants in London but this is reliable, comfortable and has the right balance. Neither too formal nor too casual so everyone feels comfortable. I don’t get why some moan about the dress code. If you don’t like it then simply don’t go. That’s all there is to it. Otherwise go and enjoy being pampered with some old school Italian charm and have a nice lunch or dinner. Please note this is an expensive restaurant so do your homework first rather than going in and the complaining later about the price! What I liked: • Very attentive service with a can do attitude • Very warm, comfortable atmosphere • Food was good What I didn’t like: • (Understandably high) price point • Presentation of the lentil soup • Limited desserts (at least on this visit) Do I recommend going? I had been dining at Cipriani / C London restaurant more or less since it first opened, which must be more than twenty years ago. I booked a table for my wife's birthday with our 2 children, aged 13 and 15 and they refused us entry because my 13 year old was wearing shorts. These were smart, tailored shorts and it was one of the hottest days of the year - 33 degrees Celsius in London. You can imagine the extreme disappointment of my wife on her birthday when her chosen restaurant refused her family entry. We could have chosen to eat anywhere in London, spending our hard earned money at any one of thousands of restaurants, yet we had chosen you. Not only did you let us down, you have lost a customer for life. As a well-connected, high-net-worth individual, I will make sure that I make every effort to convey my experience to others, to ensure that you lose future lifetime revenue and customers. We were lucky enough to have been staying in a £7000 a night suite in the The Dorchester Hotel and a quick phone call to the hotel Concierge sourced an alternative restaurant who could not have welcomed us more openly. The service was superb and we ended up with a bill of nearly £2000. I gave the staff a substantial cash tip, on top of the standard service charge that had been added to the bill. It is incredible to hear that C London, which now appears to be back using the Cipriani name, is doing so well financially, despite other hospitality venues suffering, that they can turn down business from long-standing customers or indeed anyone who wishes to spend money with them. Once seated, no one can see whether a child is wearing shorts and so your policy is ridiculous. We witnessed other diners dressed inappropriately, wearing revealing outfits and covered in tattoos, yet you chose to take offence with my 13 year old child's smart shorts. This restaurant bizarrely allows dogs into their venue but not children in smart shorts. I would warn other potential diners to read the other reviews of this restaurant and to think very carefully about whether you wish to associate yourself with a restaurant that operates like this. There are thousands of restaurants in London, so choose very carefully.

I had high expectations for Cipriani London, but unfortunately, my visit was a complete letdown due to the atrocious service. The food is delicious, been to Cipriani Riyadh before and it was great! The waitstaff were unorganized and dismissive, and we had to remind them multiple times about our cake for take away. 10 minutes later we received a white paper bag with the cake inside, which is not a problem but normally they give you a blue-ish Cipriani bag. For a place with such a reputation, I expected much better.. Overall, it felt more like they were more concerned with their image than providing a good customer experience. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience.

The reception manager gave us a table inside seperate room and the atmoshphere there is very bad although i asked a table with all people and it was available I asked to add one more guest and it was rejected by the manager. So i didnt get a table with all people to have the nice atmosphere and also i couldnt invite one more guest like it was a very big big issue to get the extra chair

Cipriani has always been a favorite, but my last visit was disappointing. While the staff were friendly, they were extremely busy, which impacted the overall service. The manager checking on tables was a nice touch, but it couldn’t make up for the downsides. The pasta was overly al dente for our taste, and the lack of background music significantly detracted from the atmosphere, making the experience feel less enjoyable. Sadly, it didn’t meet expectations this time—2 stars.

Come aquí para una cena de cumpleaños. La pasta carecía de sabor, no estaba lo suficientemente caliente y era completamente decepcionante! C London, meglio conosciuto come “Cipriani”, è una garanzia per noi italiani che vogliamo mangiare bene a Londra. Materie prime di ottima qualità, cucina ottima e variegata, personale di sala super efficiente e disponibile. Ti fanno sentire bene. Ben frequentato. Complessivamente ristorante di ottimo livello e qualità sotto ogni profilo.

Cipriani should take their restaurant off Deliveroo Far too many times you try and order, then it gets cancelled because their closed. This wastes customer time and spoils plans. Either take deliveroo seriously or just don’t do it at all.

We were 4 couples and spent over £10 000 for the evening. Great food, wine and service. While we were having dessert and a nightcap we were asked to hurray up and leave as there were people waiting for a table. This is not acceptable, at all!! Thus we will never be back and will tell our friends the same.

Comida sosa y sin sazonar. La boloñesa era abismal. Los camareros / camareras eran atentos y respetuosos, sin embargo, el gerente era desdeñoso y grosero. No es amigable para los niños. Visited couple days ago, very hostile environment, rude customers staring constantly, I was very uncomfortable - definitely because I'm a person of colour. Waste of time. Bland, unseasoned food. Bolognaise was abysmal. Waiters/waitresses were attentive and respectful however the manager was dismissive and rude. Not children friendly at all. I'm shocked at the reviews as I had a very disappointing experience. Save your time, money and taste buds.

Popped into Cipriani for a quick drink. Having been to Harry's Bar Cipriani in Venice and had the Martini there, I obviously had to go to Cipriani bar in my home town. The Martini was just the way I like it. Punchy and ice cold! Bar had an interesting nautical theme. The food going past us looked good, will go back to eat.

I tavoli sono piccoli e molto vicini, i camerieri passano continuamente sfiorandoti la sedia, trasportano grandi ruote in legno (?) da appoggiare sul tavolo per aumentarne o diminuirne la dimensione, scuotono tovaglie, sono impacciati e poco professionali. Abbiamo ordinato antipasto, primo e secondo e … sorpresa!!! Hanno portato tutto insieme e ci siamo trovati su un tavolo molto piccolo il salmone marinato, la pasta cacio e pepe e le milanesi: follia. Assolutamente non giustificato il prezzo per cibo ed atmosfera. Non lo consiglio, mi dispiace

When I go to Cipriani I feel at home, the cuisine is always phenomenal and inimitable, it represents Italy in the world. Always kind and qualified staff !!

Amazing food and service every single time we’ve visited. We looove their veal anything prepared in every way possible - you name it, we’ve tried it and we loved it. When in season, order their lobster spaghetti. Finish off the lovely meal with their yuzu sorbet and vanilla meringue, you wouldn’t regret it.

Overpriced and definitely not worth it. Went for my friends birthday and was given the wrong wine after clearly stating we wanted the bottle that was £56 they provided us with an £83 bottle. After acknowledging this mistake they then placed the wine near another table instead of next to us so we were unable to probably look at the name of it. When we questioned this when paying they still refused to charge us for the bottle we requested so we were made to pay for one we didn’t even want! I got the bolognese but it really wasn’t that nice and came with an unpleasant aroma. The dessert was very nice and they gave it to us for free to make up for their mistake. Personally wouldn’t recommend and definitely will not be going back there, it is overpriced and overhyped, there are plenty of other restaurants near by that are better value for how much you’re paying.

My friends and I were seated by one of the tills in the corner. We were made to feel extremely uncomfortable as we overheard confrontations between the waiters. There was a young waiter with curly hair, who was being targeted and completely scrutinised by his colleague. It was quite disheartening to witness as the young waiter was extremely attentive to our table and kept a bright smile regardless of what was being said to him, or how he was being treated. It was really unfair to see this, as the other waiter (tall) was raising his voice and being utterly rude, and frankly quite intimidating. He displayed amazing professionalism unlike the other waiter. This is the customer service that makes a great difference to your team. He is an asset to the team, and did not deserve to be treated like that! Apart from this, the food was delicious and I’d definitely visit the other branches.

Nadia was an amazing waitress. Very very friendly and does an amazing job with fulfilling all of our needs. She was super attentive making us feel special and comfortable. More service like hers is needed in London.

The place is very large, very noisy, very busy, very full. The food is an American version of Italian cuisine, quite fat and in large quantities, but some dishes are tasty. The staff is a mix of show-off and sympathy, but not very effective (they forgot a few things that we had to recall). All in all, it is more American than Italian, it is not bad, but I’m not sure it’s worth the price.

The service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and kind. The portions are generous, and you should try the desserts as well.

To be honest, the restaurant has a nice atmosphere, but for me there are restaurants with a better atmosphere in London, same as Novi Cove.. As for the food, you must know that you cannot go out and just order coffee, but you have to order food and then have a coffee, and their food is not bad, but it is not delicious, I mean, it is very ordinary, but the nice thing about it is that there is nothing wrong with it. We booked a table at their website 22:30 but when we got there we had to order everything right away because they were closing. We all got incredibly stressed and could barely enjoy our dinner before the servers came to clear the table. Food was ok but not worth it. Everyone was leaving by the time our food arrived

Had dinner with family. Nothing special. Really tasteless food, very fatty ribeye steaks. Pasta with shrimps was ok, but nothing more. Strong smell of food inside the restaurant, as if I had entered a canteen. Overpriced for absolutely ordinary food. Ordered a bottle of primitivo, wine was nice.

Vorrei che fosse da stimolo per chi dirige il locale a fare una riflessione, non si può degustare un ottimo vino rosso in un tumbler. Judging by the regular constant flow of customers in and out this place is still very popular with a clientele composed in the main of wealthy Arabs. Hadn’t booked so had a few well made Negronis at the bar accompanied by complimentary Zucchini Fritti and Parmegiano before hopping across the road to Misternice.

Good food but note that their portion is very large.. so the meal can get very heavy. Better to come as a group

The worst experience I had with a restaurant manager in London was at Cipriani London. When I entered the restaurant, the manager greeted me with the question, 'What do you want to eat?' I told him I would like a table and then I would order. He said, 'You can't sit until you tell me what you're going to eat, lunch or what?' I told him I would order dessert and coffee. He responded, 'You can't sit; we only serve those who want lunch.' I asked to see the menu so I could decide, and he said, 'Here is the menu, read it at the bar.' I told him I wanted a table, not the bar, and that I might order some food. He said, 'Don't say might, only lunch.' I asked to speak with a another waiter, and another staff member came over and treated me with respect and professionalism, unlike the manager. That’s what happened to me at Cipriani London. As for the dessert, it was very delicious, the coffee was okay, and the salad was good.

Been to 3 other cipriani locations. NYC , Vegas and Dubai. It’s so sad , this restaurant is not a classy place anymore. Did not like the ambiance, pasta was undercooked and very basic . Waiters with attitude. Would not suggest and I won’t go back . U pay lots of money, u get treated badly and the food is very basic. Sorry

Absolutely loved Cipriani!! The food was very delicious, well seasoned and cooked exactly to my preference. One meal I will highlight was the organic grass fed beef. If you are a meat lover, that is the perfect meal for you. The wine selection was quite nice as well, and the dessert menu??? To die for. The only thing I would say, is that the table’s water service was a bit slow, I was only poured one glass throughout my entire time there and for the bill? It was a little weird.

I visit C London from time to time (but this is probably the first time I write a review here). I believe people dine at C London because they either like the place, for whatever reasons (including tourists) or are long time regulars. For myself, I have probably dined here for half a dozen times over the years and every time, what impressed me is the clientele (well dressed, elegant and at times, fashionable). Maybe that is not what people usually prioritise or care when they visit a restaurant but for me, I kind of enjoy this experience, which may not even be the case for some 3 M star venues. The food is in no way spectacular but they are prepared as you would expect from a high end restaurant. The price is considered to be on the very high side for what they offer, that is for sure, but there is also a reason why this restaurant is always packed. I actually walked in without a reservation that day and was seated at small table near the kitchen, one of the last tables available. Service wise, they are swift, maybe a bit over done at certain point, but still acceptable. The menu items seemed to be the same all these years as well as they are proud to offer their classic and signature dishes. I ordered the Puntarelle salad and the Tagliarelle with a glass of wine... totalled over ₤100 which is very expensive but like I said, people come here for other reasons. It is likely that I will be here again...

The meal was excellent! Quality, authentic ingredients. Very fair prices. It was a bit loud for us and a group next to us was very loud and animated, so much so, we could hardly hear ourselves talking to each other.

Tout le monde s’observe et se jauge. Nourriture médiocre, pas d’assaisonnement, très cher pour ce que c’est.

Very sad place, nobody smiles there. Pasta and gnocchi were average. Service was very annoying. The waiter was coming to our table every 5 minutes trying to take our plates with a lot of food on it. But at the same time he wasn’t in a hurry to get our order or bring us the bill. We were sitting in the corner next to the door to some stuff room, and every few minutes waiters were going there. It was annoying as well.
