Greeted with amazing service. Loved the food so much - pasta was thin and beautifully cooked. Delicate portions with complementary warm bread and house olive oil. The only draw back was a staff member sat slouched by the toilet making you feel bad about going the wrong way in a poorly signed restroom. I wish they lowered the light slightly, as it makes it more cozy.

Overhyped. Waiters were constantly rushing us at every point, we had not finished our starters but were being rushed to our mains. When eating our mains, we still had food on our plates and on our forks when being asked if we were finished. All their pastas were quite bland and far too al dente for our liking. While their portion sizes were big enough for 2, £40 for bland pasta is ridiculous. The only good things about this restaurant are the desserts (which you are only allowed to order if you order mains too)

Wonderful food, wonderful menu recommendation given, great atmosphere. The service was attentive & proactive. The meringue cake was divine😍 Highly recommended.

Overpriced and pretentious Set up is very original like dinning in the restaurant of an old ocean liner. The tables though are literally one on top of the other. Waiters could not approach our table. One of our waiters did mot speak proper English. I was trying to understand how a sake cocktail is served and she kept repeating my words confused. i went for a Negroni to be sure that I will get something decent which arrived on the rocks and not with one big ice cube. Sorry but if you are changing 23£ I expect an original serving. The risotto was very dull. The asparagus salad very fresh but with a tiny piece of goat cheese. In our bolognese the pasta was not boiled enough, almost crunchy. We sent it back, Caccio pepe was the only good dish we had. Portions are satisfactory. Tiramisu was just OK. Overall not a nice experience. Will not be going back in this lifetime.

Cipriani London is a must try in Mayfair! The food was delicious and well presented. The service was attentive and friendly. Went on a Sunday for lunch and the atmosphere was great, with family, couples and really enjoyable. This place (and so the whole Cipriani Company) is an iconic restaurant in central London which really deserves a visit! Grazie mille to manager Saverio and the whole team!

Very good and expensive food but very noisy restaurant at lunchtime, pleasant staff but not professional enough... wine very poorly served especially on the tablecloth and our hands... and above all I had made it clear that it was my son's 20th birthday but no attention... very disappointed in the end with a nice, very steep bill of 335 pounds! The food are amazing and taste great, the staff are friendly and serving very fast. Great place for a lovely date or fine dine. For the pasta- Rigatoni alla Bolognese is my fav. The noodles cooked perfectly and the sauce is 🤌🏼🤌🏼

I had been dining at Cipriani / C London restaurant more or less since it first opened, which must be more than 20 years ago. I booked a table for my wife's birthday with our two children, aged 13 and 15 and they refused us entry because my 13 year old was wearing shorts. These were smart, tailored shorts and it was one of the hottest days of the year - 33 degrees Celsius in London. You can imagine the extreme disappointment of my wife on her birthday when her chosen restaurant refused her family entry. We could have chosen to eat anywhere in London, spending our hard earned money at any one of thousands of restaurants, yet we had chosen you. Not only did you let us down, you have lost a customer for life. As a well-connected, high-net-worth individual, I will make sure that I make every effort to convey my experience to others, to ensure that you lose future lifetime revenue and customers. We were lucky enough to have been staying in a £7000 a night suite in the The Dorchester Hotel and a quick phone call to the hotel Concierge sourced an alternative restaurant who could not have welcomed us more openly. The service was superb and we ended up with a bill of nearly £2000. I gave the staff a substantial cash tip, on top of the standard service charge that had been added to the bill. It is incredible to hear that C London, which now appears to be back using the Cipriani name, is doing so well financially, despite other hospitality venues suffering, that they can turn down business from long-standing customers or indeed anyone who wishes to spend money with them. Once seated, no one can see whether a child is wearing shorts and so your policy is ridiculous. We witnessed other diners dressed inappropriately, wearing revealing outfits and covered in tattoos, yet you chose to take offence with my 13 year old child's smart shorts. This restaurant bizarrely allows dogs into their venue but not children in smart shorts. I would warn other potential diners to read the other reviews of this restaurant and to think very carefully about whether you wish to associate yourself with a restaurant that operates like this. There are thousands of restaurants in London, so choose very carefully.

Just be yourselves, guys. You have a great product and heritage.

Check the bill because they purposely add extra quantities and dishes to your order hoping you wouldn’t notice. When I told the waitor he said oh someone was sitting here before and we changed their table. Lies because the table (6 person table) was empty when I arrived plus what a coincidence they ordered the same as us? This has happened multiple times in the past also across people I know, not just a one off. Plus the food was served cold. Only good thing about the food is the pasta portion size and the meringue cake

The food was delicious but very overpriced. The mains were nothing special, but everything we ordered was tasty. The vanilla meringue cake, on the other hand, was exceptional. I would return just for that.

The atmosphere and environment are very nice, the quality of the cipriani you know. I think almost all of the employees are Italian, they are really friendly and helpful. I recommend it, it is indispensable for special days.

Amazing outing for fancy date night

I am writing to formally express my disappointment with the service I recently experienced at your restaurant. Having been a loyal guest at various Cipriani locations, I had always appreciated the high standards of hospitality associated with your brand. Unfortunately, my recent visit fell drastically short of those expectations. Upon arrival, my companion and I intended to enjoy one of your signature desserts. Despite the dining area being nearly empty, we were only offered seating at the bar, in a high-traffic area where staff frequently passed by. This was not only uncomfortable but also completely unnecessary given the availability of tables. To make matters worse, there was no suitable space to even place our drinks comfortably, which significantly affected our overall experience. I take pride in presenting myself well and always communicate with staff courteously. However, I was met with rudeness that was both unprovoked and unacceptable, especially considering the reputation Cipriani upholds. This experience was disappointing, to say the least, and does not reflect the level of service I have come to associate with your establishment. I sincerely hope you will address this matter with your team to prevent similar situations in the future. I look forward to your response and to seeing meaningful improvements implemented.

The food was so bland with no flavouring, ordered pasta and it tasted like it came out of a tin not really acceptable for a place that’s so expensive. But what made it worse was the rubbish service, food coming late, drinks nowhere to be seen. Its an overhyped place with horrible food.

First time at Cipriani London, it’s was amazing the atmosphere and the dishes were amazing, and I would like to say thank you to Mehadi a lovely waiter who advised us very well, I will come back definitely! Thank you Cipriani London.

Spaghetti era al dente, agradable y sabroso, con grandes porciones, especialmente los boloñeses. Pastel de merengue demasiado lechoso pero un clásico. Las bebidas eran 25 libras cada uno! El servicio estaba bien. Muy caro ( 250 libras por 2 ) con un nivel medio de sabor de los alimentos. Falta música y ambiente. Mayoritariamente clientela árabe. Lo siento pero lo haré No volver atrás, ya que tenía grandes expectativas y me sentí decepcionado.

Overall: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ Food: Italian with a splattering of randomness Long standing Mayfair stalwart Cipriani/C has stood the test of time and still delivers consistently good food. There are far many better restaurants in London but this is reliable, comfortable and has the right balance. Neither too formal nor too casual so everyone feels comfortable. I don’t get why some moan about the dress code. If you don’t like it then simply don’t go. That’s all there is to it. Otherwise go and enjoy being pampered with some old school Italian charm and have a nice lunch or dinner. Please note this is an expensive restaurant so do your homework first rather than going in and the complaining later about the price! What I liked: • Very attentive service with a can do attitude • Very warm, comfortable atmosphere • Food was good What I didn’t like: • (Understandably high) price point • Presentation of the lentil soup • Limited desserts (at least on this visit) Do I recommend going? YES Will I go again? YES Was it good value? NO Price Point: $$$

I absolutely do not recommend this Cipriani. We were placed next to the kitchen with a lot of traffic. The dishes are served on separate plates and you are obliged to help yourself afterwards. This is far too expensive compared to the quality of the products and service. In addition, the restaurant is much too noisy you should put some music on in the background. Nothing is Italian apart from the few poorly experienced waiters

Having visited a lot of Cipriani around the world, I am very disappointed! Very poor value for money... Very passable food, obviously it looks good in the picture but unfortunately it lacks taste, poorly served on trays as if we were in the kitchen… no class The service is very slow, except for the bill… The clientele is really not chic, people in sneakers and sweaters/t-shirts… it’s not the usual dress code Very noisy I think the group is in decline unfortunately because it used to be a great address... but it's over!

It’s quite a few years since we last visited, and for a Sunday evening in a wintery January it didn’t disappoint. Minestrone soup to warm up, Chillian Seabass, of course followed by lemon meringue. All four guests enjoyed their food, the atmosphere was fun and lively, our waitress was genuinely caring and attentive on a busy night. We will be back again, I thought it had improved from what I can last remember, I always enjoy my visit here for the whole experience.

I went to dinner at Cipriani in London, attracted by the restaurant's prestigious reputation. Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to my expectations. The dishes were disappointing: my pasta was far too salty and undercooked, and the overall quality absolutely did not justify the exorbitant price. On the other hand, the service was friendly and professional, worthy of the expected standard. Despite this, the value for money is clearly unbalanced, and I would not recommend this establishment for those looking for refined, quality cuisine…

I had high expectations for Cipriani London, but unfortunately, my visit was a complete letdown due to the atrocious service. The food is delicious, been to Cipriani Riyadh before and it was great! The waitstaff were unorganized and dismissive, and we had to remind them multiple times about our cake for take away. 10 minutes later we received a white paper bag with the cake inside, which is not a problem but normally they give you a blue-ish Cipriani bag. For a place with such a reputation, I expected much better.. Overall, it felt more like they were more concerned with their image than providing a good customer experience. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience.

The reception manager gave us a table inside seperate room and the atmoshphere there is very bad although i asked a table with all people and it was available I asked to add one more guest and it was rejected by the manager. So i didnt get a table with all people to have the nice atmosphere and also i couldnt invite one more guest like it was a very big big issue to get the extra chair

Cipriani has always been a favorite, but my last visit was disappointing. While the staff were friendly, they were extremely busy, which impacted the overall service. The manager checking on tables was a nice touch, but it couldn’t make up for the downsides. The pasta was overly al dente for our taste, and the lack of background music significantly detracted from the atmosphere, making the experience feel less enjoyable. Sadly, it didn’t meet expectations this time—2 stars.

C London, meglio conosciuto come “Cipriani”, è una garanzia per noi italiani che vogliamo mangiare bene a Londra. Materie prime di ottima qualità, cucina ottima e variegata, personale di sala super efficiente e disponibile. Ti fanno sentire bene. Ben frequentato. Complessivamente ristorante di ottimo livello e qualità sotto ogni profilo.

Cipriani should take their restaurant off Deliveroo Far too many times you try and order, then it gets cancelled because their closed. This wastes customer time and spoils plans. Either take deliveroo seriously or just don’t do it at all.

We were 4 couples and spent over £10 000 for the evening. Great food, wine and service. While we were having dessert and a nightcap we were asked to hurray up and leave as there were people waiting for a table. This is not acceptable, at all!! Thus we will never be back and will tell our friends the same.

Visited couple days ago, very hostile environment, rude customers staring constantly, I was very uncomfortable - definitely because I'm a person of colour. Waste of time. Bland, unseasoned food. Bolognaise was abysmal. Waiters/waitresses were attentive and respectful however the manager was dismissive and rude. Not children friendly at all. I'm shocked at the reviews as I had a very disappointing experience. Save your time, money and taste buds.

Comida sosa y sin sazonar. La boloñesa era abismal. Los camareros / camareras eran atentos y respetuosos, sin embargo, el gerente era desdeñoso y grosero. No es amigable para los niños. Popped into Cipriani for a quick drink. Having been to Harry's Bar Cipriani in Venice and had the Martini there, I obviously had to go to Cipriani bar in my home town. The Martini was just the way I like it. Punchy and ice cold! Bar had an interesting nautical theme. The food going past us looked good, will go back to eat.

I tavoli sono piccoli e molto vicini, i camerieri passano continuamente sfiorandoti la sedia, trasportano grandi ruote in legno (?) da appoggiare sul tavolo per aumentarne o diminuirne la dimensione, scuotono tovaglie, sono impacciati e poco professionali. Abbiamo ordinato antipasto, primo e secondo e … sorpresa!!! Hanno portato tutto insieme e ci siamo trovati su un tavolo molto piccolo il salmone marinato, la pasta cacio e pepe e le milanesi: follia. Assolutamente non giustificato il prezzo per cibo ed atmosfera. Non lo consiglio, mi dispiace

When I go to Cipriani I feel at home, the cuisine is always phenomenal and inimitable, it represents Italy in the world. Always kind and qualified staff !!

Amazing food and service every single time we’ve visited. We looove their veal anything prepared in every way possible - you name it, we’ve tried it and we loved it. When in season, order their lobster spaghetti. Finish off the lovely meal with their yuzu sorbet and vanilla meringue, you wouldn’t regret it.

Overpriced and definitely not worth it. Went for my friends birthday and was given the wrong wine after clearly stating we wanted the bottle that was £56 they provided us with an £83 bottle. After acknowledging this mistake they then placed the wine near another table instead of next to us so we were unable to probably look at the name of it. When we questioned this when paying they still refused to charge us for the bottle we requested so we were made to pay for one we didn’t even want! I got the bolognese but it really wasn’t that nice and came with an unpleasant aroma. The dessert was very nice and they gave it to us for free to make up for their mistake. Personally wouldn’t recommend and definitely will not be going back there, it is overpriced and overhyped, there are plenty of other restaurants near by that are better value for how much you’re paying.

This was our first time at Cipriani’s and it did not disappoint! Everything from the interior to the staff and of course the food was perfection! If I could give this restaurant 100 stars I would.

Nadia was an amazing waitress. Very very friendly and does an amazing job with fulfilling all of our needs. She was super attentive making us feel special and comfortable. More service like hers is needed in London.

My friends and I were seated by one of the tills in the corner. We were made to feel extremely uncomfortable as we overheard confrontations between the waiters. There was a young waiter with curly hair, who was being targeted and completely scrutinised by his colleague. It was quite disheartening to witness as the young waiter was extremely attentive to our table and kept a bright smile regardless of what was being said to him, or how he was being treated. It was really unfair to see this, as the other waiter (tall) was raising his voice and being utterly rude, and frankly quite intimidating. He displayed amazing professionalism unlike the other waiter. This is the customer service that makes a great difference to your team. He is an asset to the team, and did not deserve to be treated like that! Apart from this, the food was delicious and I’d definitely visit the other branches.

The place is very large, very noisy, very busy, very full. The food is an American version of Italian cuisine, quite fat and in large quantities, but some dishes are tasty. The staff is a mix of show-off and sympathy, but not very effective (they forgot a few things that we had to recall). All in all, it is more American than Italian, it is not bad, but I’m not sure it’s worth the price.

You can put lipstick on a pig. Usual huddle. Good food. Distance between tables ok. Service, this time was good. If you're looking for a quick lunch try this. Honestly, there so many established restaurants in town who don't try so hard.

We booked a table at their website 22:30 but when we got there we had to order everything right away because they were closing. We all got incredibly stressed and could barely enjoy our dinner before the servers came to clear the table. Food was ok but not worth it. Everyone was leaving by the time our food arrived

Had dinner with family. Nothing special. Really tasteless food, very fatty ribeye steaks. Pasta with shrimps was ok, but nothing more. Strong smell of food inside the restaurant, as if I had entered a canteen. Overpriced for absolutely ordinary food. Ordered a bottle of primitivo, wine was nice.

When ones dine in Mayfair, one would expect an exceptional dining experience from start to finish . Slow on drinks to the point of forgetting at the beginning ! Had to ask for drinks but the menu was taken away too early and we did not know the choices Brought out bread with olive oil only had to ask for balsamic vinegar there was no offer Main course lamb chops seared cooked not well done cooked and was cold . Veal Ragu was tasteless. Pasta dish was luke warm . The standard of food was not very good at all. Deserts were better however it was my sons 21st and the food here should have been far better than what was served up. Would I bring my family here for Sunday lunch again ?

Cibo squisito, personale gentilissimo, consigliatissimo, non metto 5 stelle perché abbiamo ordinato del Valpolicella Superiore ottimo, ma…è stato servito in bicchieri da acqua e alla mia perplessità mi è stato risposto che servono qualsiasi bevanda nei medesimi bicchieri. Vorrei che fosse da stimolo per chi dirige il locale a fare una riflessione, non si può degustare un ottimo vino rosso in un tumbler. Everytime we go always great food and service…. Good for business, family, date. Works for all occasions

Judging by the regular constant flow of customers in and out this place is still very popular with a clientele composed in the main of wealthy Arabs. Hadn’t booked so had a few well made Negronis at the bar accompanied by complimentary Zucchini Fritti and Parmegiano before hopping across the road to Misternice.

Good food but note that their portion is very large.. so the meal can get very heavy. Better to come as a group
