Nando's - Glasshouse Street in City of London, Westminster

Managed to get a table here relatively quickly considering it was a very busy Saturday afternoon. Staff were great, really friendly and the food was what we've come to expect from Nandos. A little disappointed there were no Macho Peas available, but apart from that, lovely.

Typical Nando's, which we like. They were careful not to overload the kitchen so once we got through the waiting list everything was super quick

The food is superb and very vers delicious. What we do not understand: Early afternoon on Thursday and Saturday we were asked to wait for a table upstairs although below have been quite a lot tables free. Some families waited for 30minutes although 2-4 4-person tables around us were free.

Staff very warm,friendly and welcoming. Very clean. Food is really nice. Good soap dispenser in bathroom so you can wash your hands before your meal with lovely hot water. Good art,nice vibe, Thank you.

Love those 4 Boneless Chicken Thighs, with their delicious spicy rice, chips and creamy mash, easy to be eaten, they are very tasty. We also ordered the sunset burger that was chicken thighs in a sandwich. Good experience

Nice place to stop at if hungry, but the restaurant is underground and quite small so it feels a bit crowded.

Dine in - man came to me asked, to use online ordering. Website was down, showed him we can’t use it. He okay I will be right back; went on serving other cxs never came. Wasted 1 hr Using their wifi to leave the review.

The food is on point....there could be improvements to the service such as....cutlery should not run out, and the attendees could be more courteous. The quality of the food makes up for the lack in other areas

Went in to use the toilet but got refused entry. I was willing to purchase food in order to use the toilet and was still refused entry. Won't speak well if this Nando's ever. Staff were not accommodating at all.

The restaurant has a good location being near Regent Street and Piccadilly Circus. The place itself is ok, but I didn’t really like the downstairs seating area. The standard wait time is 25 minutes, but usually you can be seated before. There is nothing too much to complain except some delay in getting your order. But the manager apologized and got us a plate of 10 wings as compensation. The chicken was really tasty especially when you add their unique several types of NANDO’S sauces. I love their fries with the péri péri powder. The other side plates ( corn, broccoli, mashed potatoes, peas ) are ok, but their portions are too little. If your are a big family and want to save money as well as to satiate your hunger, order the two whole chicken with large 5 sides. Also they have the tasty butterfly chicken sandwich which is the biggest sandwich in the menu with two big chicken tenders. If you want halal food, be aware that this branch doesn’t serve it.

Ambiente molto bello con arredi e musica a tema. Cibo fantastico, abbiamo provato il pollo con salsa “medium” e “hot”, entrambi ottimi per noi che siamo amanti del piccante (consiglio il medium anche per chi lo apprezza ma non vuole esagerare). L’ordinazione è self service, si ordina al tavolo con QR code e si paga direttamente dal sito, i piatti vengono serviti al tavolo così come i bicchieri, riempibili alla macchinetta autonomamente e con modalità refill gratuito di ogni bevanda vogliate. Noi abbiamo adorato questa modalità, ma chiaramente non va bene per chi vuole essere seguito dall’inizio alla fine o non è pratico di tecnologia. Qualità prezzo ottimi, difficile avere una cena completa per questi prezzi a Londra che non sia in un fast food! Concludo aggiungendo che se vi innamorate delle salse (e ve ne innamorerete) ne trovate alcune in vendita da Tesco. Spero di vederlo presto anche in Italia!!!

Only complaint is the weird idea of making everyone wait 10 mins upstairs to be seated when the restaurant was less than half full.. Not even a bar to use

Great little Nandos, very good service, attentive and quick. The food was great, and the chicken was juicy. My only criticism is with the chips. Not my thing as they aren't crispy enough and pretty dry, but that's true with all the Nandos I've been to. Otherwise, fantastic location and had a lovely meal.

First visited and posted review years ago. Food that time was pretty great except the burnt corn cob. There was a girl who looked or acted like she was in charge and would quickly go from table to table and ask if everything ok. I said the corn cob was burnt and before I could finish my sentence she nodded with a smile and quickly left. Seemed a bit arrogant and going through the motions but perhaps she was just busy. Update: just visited again and the food tasted even more amazing than usual nando's high standard. The guy with beard at the till and who seems part of management is always excellent with service. Upgraded my rating and hope to be back for more.

It's an average nandos. Ealing Bond Street is the best in town though!!! 🤩🤩🤩

You have to wait 20-40 minuites upstairs just to get a table and won't let you down until they tell you. Then the restraunt is in the basement and place is tiny. I went with my mum and dad and they have gluten milk and soya allergies and they didn't know a thing about the allergies when we asked them.

I waited 50 minutes in a crammed space for that takeaway. In the pic there are 4(!!!!) chicken thighs and 2(!!!!)chicken breast. My mistake for not opening the boxes there. Nando’s should be same size everywhere, that’s why I chose to go there and not other restaurant.

Awesome place, loved being there. Very kind staff, excellent food. Will definitely go there again if I'm in London. They describe the spiciness with precision. The que time is 100% worth the wait.

I was there with my family a couple of days ago. They seated us under the staircase that was by the entrance, which had spaces between each step. That wasn't very pleasant on a rainy day. We asked to switch places, since there was a free table right beside us. They didn't even tell us no, but simply ignored our request. The table was quite dirty, as they didn't seem to be cleaning any of the tables between each party, so we had to clean it ourselves with napkins. When we got our drinks, one of the cups had a lipstick stain on it from a previous user. The food was OK, but the portions aren't very big, so if you're looking to eat more than a snack, you should order one or two sides. It was also very loud in there. This might not be the staffs fault, but definitely had an impact on my experience. I have to give them creds for their food actually being spicy though. Their medium is what some restaurants mark as hot.

For management’s attention, Went on Sunday 23/07/2023 for dinner around 20:30, for the very few times and although not busy, waiters and particularly a male with short braids seemed to hate their role and being there. I was very officially sat down, order was taken robotically at the till, food was very average, not the usual Nando’s taste, broccoli hard as a rock, never asked how my food was not the little metal rooster was taken off my table throughout my meal, no eye contact and when I left and said “ thank you and goodbye “ was completely ignored by everyone downstairs. The only friendly people who at least smiled and nodded was upstairs at main entrance. Sadly, not sure I’ll give it another go.

The food was great. Really hit the spot. The sauces and chicken were delicious and savory. Recommend the sunset burger and cheese sticks. The only negative was ordering through the app instead of table service. However it was easy to use and nice to see all the menu items.

Expérience épicée pour un service original et une cuisine excellente.

Chinatown var mäktigt att besöka, speciellt när lyktorna tänds upp under sena kvällen. Nando's var det trång lokal i två våningar. Glassen på Nando's var blandade med te och i flertal smaker, verkligen annorlunda. Valde en blandning med choklad som var okay! Åt glassen ut på gatan då lokalen på övervåningen var med obefintlig luftkonditionering i det varma vädret som rådde.

Loved the ambience and the staff was so good! The food quality is amazing.

Demoraron 30 minutos en traer un simple plato que estaba frío. La cajera estaba haciendo achique de tarros de ketchup con la mano como embudo (completamente antihigienco y desagradable). Antes de cerrar el local comenzaron a retirar la basura desde la cocina, bolsas y bolsas pasando por el medio del salon comedor. No lo recomiendo.

Good, standard Nandos, It can get quite busy during lunchtime. Be prepared for a short wait to be seated if you are in a group. The seating is at basement level, which can mean a poor 4/5g phone signal unless you connect to the wifi.

Food good as always. This is not my favourite location though, it's in a basement and it was crowded when we visited. Had to wait 25 minutes on a Thursday.

Busy but nice and excellent location in heart of London

Terrible experience. I remember Nando’s from long ago in South Africa. This tiny burger made of yesterday’s bread-bun with a tiny piece of dry chicken was absolutely terrible. Only outdone by the lukewarm chips. I don’t mind online ordering at the table, but if the waiter is able to serve a plate, why do I have to get up and get the cutlery and a serviette?? NEVER AGAIN!

Whilst the restaurant is not huge, it is far larger than it seems. Nandos does not allow any reservations so we were concerned with meeting overseas guests there. However, we were seated within a few minutes by some friendly staff. It seems you now order things from an app by scanning a QR code at the table. In our case, with a coeliac in the party, we ordered at the counter and items were double checked for compliance. Very professional. The food was brought within about 15 minutes and was up to the usual standard and quality. If I had to make an observation, I was not blown away by the Vusa sauce...I did expect something with more kick but I am probably an outlier. Not much more to add other than bathrooms, table and counters were clean. Staff were friendly. Decor added to the atmosphere. The music playing in the background was vibey but not too loud to distract from conversation. Oh, please change the sauce dispensing caps - they are horrendous! They may work well with a lemon and herb sauce or olive oil but with the thicker sauces, it is P A I N F U L L Y S L O W to get any out. Overall, a very good experience.

One of my favourite Nando’s, staff is always very nice and food arrives quickly. Toilets are clean and sauces are always full (unlike some other Nando’s!). I love to be able to order and pay from the table with the QR code.

La dame de l’accueil n’est pas du tout accueillante. On me dis d’attendre 20 minutes, ce qui est normale si il y a du monde mais quand je demande de faire chauffer la nourriture de mon bébé de 1 an. L’hôtesse d’accueil refuse, elle refuse que mon enfant puisse manger. C’est honteux..

it's changed a bit, service levels have dropped, they try to force you to use the app. Deliveroo takes priority over people dining in. It's business I suppose. The staff were nice enough, the shift manager however, very dismissive French male,( 5 points for who can name him), he could do with lessons in hospitality. I love nandos, but it's losing its touch. Sort it out guys please.

Our order was forgotten for about 20-30 minutes, and when we asked if our order went through (as we ordered through our phone) they finally went to check. It looked like our order receipt had fallen off from the counter so the kitchen stuff didn't notice. The food was ready after about 10-15 more minutes, but the server did not say anything. No apologies. I wouldn't mind waiting for food as I can understand that it can be quite busy, but the way they handled the situation wasn't so great.

Great staff, great food. It was my first time at Nando’s. I like how you can just scan and order online. The drinks were refills with soft drink options. The waiting time was about 10-15 minutes. Food-wise, the sauces were tasty and the wings were amazingly soft. I tried the extra hot sauce and it was nice, as well as the garlic sauce. The staff was helpful. All in all, had a great experience. And will come again for sure.

Chicken wings and spicy rice - if you are new to this resto don't hesitate to order these. They're tasty. You can order in their website via and they provide wifi access.

It is a nice restaurant, very nice atmosphere, relatively clean dinning area. We visited on Monday for lunch. Ordered butterfly chicken breast and two extra pieces of chicken thigh. What delivered is for sure what I ordered but the portion is amazingly small since they are charging for one piece of chicken butterfly like around 9 pounds and almost 14 pounds for the menu. With the waiter forgetting my salad, it looks extremely petty, but it got quickly fixed after a short conversation with the waiter. Maybe if you want bigger portion, you should order meat with bones, like half or quarter chicken. Boneless chicken is more of a kids size meal. Chicken was a bit dry, flavoring is good, but not as good as what I was expecting. Maybe you will have a better experience without expectation. Overall, fun experience, would go again but I will skip the boneless options.

Disaster !!! They informed us upon arrival that most food and beverage items on the menu were unavailable to order … including water and cider 😩😩

The food was good, no question about it, but the waiting time for our order was really underground. In addition, the ice cream ordered for dessert, which was brought after an hour, was missing.

Had a 15minute wait which was to be expected excellent service and staff were lovely only problem we had was that the butterfly chicken and garlic bread was inedible as very chewy and over cooked and that was 3 of us that said about the garlic bread and only one had the butterfly chicken. The garlic bread u could literally only have a couple of bites as gave u jaw ache or would damage a tooth. Other than that very clean and polite staff would visit again but wouldn't have garlic bread or butterfly chicken.

The food and service were great! You can never go wrong with Nando’s.

Nando’s is one of the best fast casual restaurant chains in the UK. You can have as much sauce as you want! They’ve got five or six sauces from mild to extra hot, and let you take whole bottles to your table. I love getting garlic bread, mash, and peri peri chicken and mixing them together with the extra hot sauce. Give it a try!

Good food & great service! I somehow always land up at Nando’s when i need to up my protein intake and have a hearty meal. The food is fresh and healthy. The peri-peri sauces that come along are always great. The service at Glasshouse Street was really nice. A big shout out to Eliza who helped with our dinner.
