Nando's - Glasshouse Street in City of London, Westminster

It's stuffy in the basement and there's no daylight. The staff is unsuccessful, their English is inadequate. The products are already standard and I think they are a bit expensive

Our experience at Nandos was very good. Fast service and the chicken was fresh. We received excellent service from the host Sapphire, she was friendly and very professional.

Guy on the door put us on a list and said to come back in 15. We got a beer next door for 10 minutes and came back and now hes saying 20 more minutes and to try another nandos. Its not that hard to just say youre to busy and we wouldnt wait. Whats the point in a reservation queue so dumb avoid at all costs

This Nando’s has to be one of the best we have dined in, the food is always delicious 😋 the staff are so welcoming and friendly. With our daughter being a fussy eater she enjoyed her food and would definitely come again. We usually go for the full platter with a couple of extras on top, we always leave full lol. Definitely a thumbs up 👍🏻 from us all!!

Obviously this is not as fancy as the neighbouring restaurant but definitely one of the best Nandos around. I really like the artwork. The food was tasty as you'd expect and the staff were friendly and attentive.

Really disorganised for a nandos, did not handle rush well, heard the manager shout across the restaurant. Felt very not comfortable at this nandos, weren’t helpful to our queries either.

The restaurant has its merits, particularly the thoughtful addition of foot door handles in the restroom, which I appreciated. However, I found the unpleasant odor from some of the staff members quite off-putting. It would greatly enhance the experience if there were stricter hygiene standards in place for the team. Overall, with a few improvements, this place has great potential.

Not the greatest Nando’s experience. Really cramped with tables on top of each other. A longer than usual wait for food. Good still tasted amazing and up to its usual standard.

Unfortunately we were scammed out of £18. (One more portion added) When we filled out the complaint form to return it to the card, we did not receive the refund after 2 weeks.

Worst Nando's you'll ever visit. Waited 45 minutes for food whilst everyone on the table had finished eating. In the end they just gave me the money back and I had to go and find lunch somewhere else. It was a similar story for other diners. Most employees were focusing on takeaway customer orders whilst present diners were being neglected.

Generally I loove Nando’s, however January 2024 happened. I got the worst food poisoning. The only thing I had the previous day was Nando’s so I am pretty sure it was caused by the place. I spent 3 days of my trip in pure dehydration, no explaining needed. It was so bad I had to use the toilet every 20 minutes. Extremely disappointed by the quality of the food and honestly it was such a pain to have when vacationing.

great place great food, but at the end of it while eating the corn on the cob there was an insect in it, moving around and eating. Brought this to the attention of a staff member, she went to show it to her manager and she excused herself and offered me a free desert. This desert in 30 minutes didn't arrive. They sort of offered me a complimentary desert it then they simply ignored me. So watch out people for Nandos in Piccadilly Circus area. You might have a visitor in the form of a crawling insect eating with you and if and when you need the staff they simply forget you. Good food, great place but left very disappointed Not to worry, there are many chains out there.

We visited on a Saturday in September, a bit before 12 noon. The seats were fairly close together. All downstairs, so no windows. The service wasn’t as good/friendly as other Nando’s restaurants. We had humous, with Peri Peri Drizzle pitta breads as our starter. Very generous on the humous! (£4.75 or 3 starters for £10! Or free with the green reward) I’ve added a photo. I then had half chicken, corn on the cob and mac and cheese. My mac and cheese seemed smaller than other branches. I noticed this Nando’s do bottomless Peach iced tea 🧡 and frozen cocktails. (Added a photo of the menu) All in all not the best service, however Nando’s is my favourite fast food chain. Bring back the spiced grain and butternut squash! The rewards scheme is brilliant, as is the 3 starters for £10! The Halloumi sticks are delicious, as are the olives and sweet potato wedges. You get such a generous portion of sweet potato wedges!

Great little nandos to visit before a night out. We were seated in 5mins and service was very quick and friendly. Great ambience and would definitely recommend for a quick and relatively cheap meal in the area.

First time trying Nandos. The experience was good. Not too crowded (Sunday evening). Good place with dine-in facilities. Takeaway can be ordered downstairs at the counter. Service was fairly quick.

Very central location and modest priced eating. The sitting area is located downstairs. But it’s still alright as it’s well designed. The waiting time was not too long: both for seating and having food. Recommended for well priced good food

We had an early dinner and it was everything you expect from nandos! Good salad and good kids meals.

Nando's never disappoints when it comes to taste. The waiting time was relatively long and the atmosphere a little noisy, the air conditioning too strong.

Can't fault the food although the burger bun was cold (not sure if it's supposed to be warm). Some items on the menu were not available on the online/mobile web order system so ended up going to the till for some items.

It is what I would expect from Nando's good wise. However the staff were a bit slow to seat us and the music was louder than I expect for Nandos. It felt like I was in a bar and this was middle of the day.

Probably the most crowded Nando’s in London. You usually have to wait for couple of minutes whenever you go to eat. Still a Nando’s though, it is delicious. There are no windows in the restaurant area. You go in and down for restaurant. Enjoy!

I took half a grilled chicken with 3 optional items. I took only potatoes and the sauces and the drink is free, and the prices are good compared to the prices of London restaurants.

Chicken chain restaurant^^~ If you have children, you can go comfortably. It's natural for it to be noisy :)

Perfect and simple Food with good flavors!

It is one of the best restaurants I have ever tried. The food was delicious, super fast, super cheap. The staff was very attentive and the atmosphere was very comfortable. I highly recommend it.

I recently dined at Nando’s and had a delightful experience. The food was delicious, with perfectly grilled chicken and flavorful sides that really hit the spot. Despite a short wait of about 5 minutes, which is quite reasonable during busy times, the overall experience was enjoyable and worth it. The lady who was upstairs with glasses was very sweet also the the lady with black long hair who took my order had a very pleasant smile and nice. I ordered a sunset burger also for my friend but was but disappointed that the chicken in the burger was burnt that ruined the whole taste of my meal.

Very friendly reception, located in the basement, very good air conditioning, friendly service when placing the order. Unfortunately, the young lady in a pink blouse and black pants who brought the food we ordered was very unfriendly and completely unmotivated. Food again was super tasty and soft drink was bottomless. Toilets were unkempt, hand dryers didn't work, toilet paper wasn't available either!

First of all, I would like to thank Junayd for his great service yesterday. I would say that is the only good thing I could say about my visit there yesterday. One of the workers named Aurel was touching chemical products with his bare hands and then went straight to the fridge to go and hand me my dessert and he also used his bare hands! This is disgusting, cross contamination! Touching chemicals and then touching food is a big no/no. I thought this was just common sense! He did this all in front of me. I can only imagine what happens behind closed doors and when I mentioned it to him. He was extremely rude and sarcastic. All he had to do is change the cake but instead I was served a slice of cake with rudeness. Also, another one of the team, Rubin was extremely rude to another staff member. I just want to highlight this because I am a customer. I don’t want to come to a restaurant to enjoy my meal and see such unprofessionalism. There is a time and place for everything and in front of customers or even alone is not the place for this behaviour. This is unacceptable. Do better!! Treat your customers and staff good. Thank you! The food was good though 👏🏽 as always. Great job to the kitchen staff!

I love Nandos. But not Nandos Glasshouse Street. We took our friends there who never tried Nandos before but this was the worst experience of Nandos! The staff was extremely rude and arrogant, especially Aurel. The service was really poor. Nandos left a very unprofessional impression.

As expected, Nando’s is always good. African-style grilled chicken. Roasted chicken with special sauce. Medium sauce is recommended. The sauce is based on paprika powder, so it doesn’t depend on your taste. It's great to be able to taste light African food style in London. Although it's African food, it's a great chicken dish and doesn't have a strong flavor, so my parents ate it when they were on a trip and really liked it.

Basically delicious food for a short-term snack. Comprehensive, proven franchise concept. Price-performance without complaint.

The space and concept are good, it is well decorated and located, but the food leaves a lot to be desired. Don't think it's like Portuguese barbecue, it has nothing to do with it! The chicken has no flavor inside, they just put a little sauce on the outside. I made a sacrifice to eat the chicken. The best of all was the salad.

Good place to have a bite. Chicken was very tasty, sides not so much. We tried the Mac and Cheese, garlic bread (which was hard as a rock), Mashed potatoes were also lacking some flavor. We tried the veggie burger and was average. Prices are fine, combos make sense. Nonstop refills are always appreciated.

Sofi was such a wonderful host, she made a very good day even better. She was friendly and considerate. The food was also well done and the best one for many years!

When we entered the resto, there was a guy who welcomed us and asked us to sit down whilst they prepare a table for us. When we were told it was ready, we were asked to go down the stairs and we saw there were a lot of seats/tables available. We were given a menu and were told on how to order. Food took some time but it was good. There were a lot of condiments available. The ambiance is good for family and friends meeting up. Restroom was clean.

Gave the wrong amount of change in cash. Brought everyone’s food within a long time interval of 25 minutes. And the burger was raw

Our main issue with our dinner the other night was with the fact that the waiters made us change items from our order because the kitchen said there were none left. If you have ever been to Nandos before, you will know you pay in advancement and there are no refunds making us loose money. You can not imagine our surprise when we enden reciving the food we had originally order.

Managed to get a table here relatively quickly considering it was a very busy Saturday afternoon. Staff were great, really friendly and the food was what we've come to expect from Nandos. A little disappointed there were no Macho Peas available, but apart from that, lovely.

The food is superb and very vers delicious. What we do not understand: Early afternoon on Thursday and Saturday we were asked to wait for a table upstairs although below have been quite a lot tables free. Some families waited for 30minutes although 2-4 4-person tables around us were free.

Love those 4 Boneless Chicken Thighs, with their delicious spicy rice, chips and creamy mash, easy to be eaten, they are very tasty. We also ordered the sunset burger that was chicken thighs in a sandwich. Good experience

Went in to use the toilet but got refused entry. I was willing to purchase food in order to use the toilet and was still refused entry. Won't speak well if this Nando's ever. Staff were not accommodating at all.
